Trump’s strong words caused confusion and concern. However, a White House official later clarified that Trump was not literally asking civilians to flee Tehran. Instead, the statement was meant to pressure Iran’s leadership on the nuclear issue.
Trump Urges Talks With Israel
Later that day, before meeting Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, Trump spoke to reporters. He said Iran might be willing to ease tensions with Israel. Trump noted, “I see that Iran is not winning this war,” and advised Iran to act fast. He added, “They should talk, and they should talk immediately — before it’s too late.”
