Trump-Musk Spat Turns Viral, Internet Jokes About Modi as Peace Broker

US President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk are now in an open online fight. Both men fired shots through social media posts. As a result, users on platforms like ‘X’ began creating memes. Many Indians joined in, suggesting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should announce a “ceasefire.”

For instance, one post on X read, “Modi ji should announce a ceasefire between Musk & Trump.” It quickly went viral and reached over 143,000 views.

Meme Trend Has a Backstory

Interestingly, the joke about Modi came from a recent political event. Last month, during tensions between India and Pakistan, Trump claimed he helped stop military action. Even though India denied outside involvement, Trump said, “he made it happen.” That claim became perfect material for meme-makers.

Consequently, a parody account pretending to be PM Modi posted: “After a long night of talks mediated by India, I am pleased to announce that Donald Trump & Elon Musk have agreed to a FULL AND IMMEDIATE CEASEFIRE. Congratulations to both individuals on using Common Sense and Great Intelligence.”

Indian Leaders Join the Fun

Meanwhile, Indian politicians joined the trend. Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi shared a screenshot of Musk’s criticism of Trump and added, “SOS: call for ceasefire !!”

Soon after, others jumped in. One user posted, “BREAKING: PM Modi takes credit for ceasefire between Elon & Trump. Elon & Trump denied any third person was involved. PM Modi posts it on X after the denial.” Another joked, “Zelensky demands ceasefire between Trump and Elon.”

The Real Fight Escalates

Behind the humor, the fight between Musk and Trump has grown intense. Initially, Musk stepped down from his role in Trump’s administration. He had led the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which focused on reducing national debt.

Later, Musk criticized Trump’s new tax and spending plan. He called it a “disgusting abomination” and “a massive spending bill.”

Reacting to the criticism, Trump told reporters, “I was very disappointed in Elon.”

In response, Musk wrote on X, “Without me, Trump would have lost the election… Such ingratitude.”
Moreover, he warned, “The Trump tariffs will cause a recession in the second half of this year.”

Soon after, Musk made a bold claim on X: “Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”

Trump didn’t stay silent. On Truth Social, he wrote, “I was always surprised that Biden didn’t wipe out Musk’s government subsidies!”

Internet Responds with Humor

As expected, the internet reacted quickly. The phrase “THE GIRLS ARE FIGHTING” began trending on X. It summed up how people saw the Trump-Musk feud—dramatic, personal, and very public.
