A woman's life in transition: what happens right before menopause

The Transition Begins: The period immediately preceding menopause, known as the perimenopause, signifies the conclusion of the reproductive years

Changes in Hormones:  The changes become apparent when levels of progesterone and estrogen begin to drop and fluctuate
