A clip in which a woman confronts an old man at the Dilwara Jain Temple in Mount Abu, Rajasthan, for secretly snapping her legs has gone viral. Filmed by the woman’s friend and posted on Instagram, the clip features her confronting the man after finding that he snapped her pictures without permission. The lady queries, “Uncle ye kya hai? Kya kar rahe ho app? Ha, kyu le rahe ho mere pictures? Kyu le rahe ho mere pairon ka pictures?” (“Uncle, what’s this? What are you doing? Why are you taking my photos, my leg pictures?”).

At first, the man denies it, but he later presents her with the photos in his phone gallery. The woman, clearly agitated, informs him that she felt uneasy with his persistent staring and admonishes him for denying the act. Following the deletion of the photos before her, she chastises him, stating, “Are you not embarrassed? You’re photographing me while seated close to a temple.”

The clip, which went viral in a short period of time, outraged the public, with users demanding that something be done. “This is somebody’s husband, somebody’s brother, maybe somebody’s father,” a user noted. Shame that he’s so old and still looks at women like this.” Some suggested showing the video to his family, while others asked authorities to take stern action. “I urge the police department to take swift, stern action against him,” wrote one, while another suggested reporting to temple authorities to prevent the man from entering the temple.

The outrage across social media platforms has prompted numerous calls for the Rajasthan Police and the tourism departments to investigate the man and make him answer for what he has done.
