A routine Uber ride turned into a terrifying encounter for Miami rapper Krissy Celess—popularly known as Bomb Ass Krissy—when the driver pulled out a gun and ordered her and a friend out of the vehicle. The incident, which occurred late Monday (May 12) in Florida, was caught on video and has since gone viral.
According to reports, the confrontation began when Krissy gave the driver directions during the ride. What started as a disagreement quickly escalated into chaos. In the video shared by Krissy online, the Uber driver is heard shouting, “Get out of my vehicle now,” while dialing 911. As the argument intensified, the driver suddenly pulled out a revolver, prompting panic.
“I just never expected anything like this to happen,” Krissy told WSVN. “It just escalated so quickly. I was focused on the gun,” she added.

Uber Responds, Removes Driver from Platform
The video has sparked public outrage, especially since Uber’s policies strictly prohibit drivers from carrying firearms. Responding to the incident, the company said, “This is concerning, and we’re so sorry this happened.” Uber confirmed that the driver has been removed from its platform and stated that it is cooperating with the Hollywood Police Department in the investigation.
Passengers Likely to Sue Uber
Krissy and her friend are reportedly considering legal action against the ride-hailing company. Their lawyer, Carlos Dominguez, criticized the driver’s actions as excessive. “I would argue that the Uber driver was extremely aggressive, and the reaction of pulling a gun was extremely excessive,” he told NDTV.
“You know, emotions can sometimes get out of control because of a simple disagreement, but those disagreements do not necessitate a firearm to be pointed at you,” he added.
As of now, Krissy has disabled comments on the video across her social media platforms. The incident has stirred debates around safety and accountability in ride-sharing services.
