In a shocking twist, the accused’s wife was also on board and reportedly defended her husband’s behavior. She acknowledged his misconduct but attempted to downplay it as a mere mistake. Sharing his ordeal on Instagram, the victim detailed the incident, stating, “I was sexually assaulted on Pune Hatia Express. While I was asleep, a 33-year-old man from Chhattisgarh touched me inappropriately and kissed me. When I resisted, he shamelessly admitted he liked it.”
He further criticized the passengers who defended the accused simply because he was accompanied by his wife. The victim raised concerns about public safety, questioning, “If a well-built young man like me isn’t safe in a train, how can women be expected to feel secure?”
