In a funny moment that serves to illustrate the notoriously volatile behavior of Delhi Metro passengers, a viral video has emerged of a woman quietly sitting in a metro carriage with a sheet mask covering her face. The five-day-old video, which was posted on Instagram by the handle ‘The Dope Indian’, has accumulated over 18,000 views.

In the video, the lady seems totally oblivious standing with her legs crossed by the metro door, a book in her hand, and a sheet mask over her face. The coach seems largely empty, and she isn’t bothering anyone.

Social Media Reactions

As soon as the clip went online, the comments flowed. Most condemned the cameraperson for trying to embarrass the woman for performing something as innocent as skincare in public. Some others also complained about taping someone off guard.

Commenters were equally supportive of the woman. “Bhai tune wo ni suna kya ‘Apne kaam se kaam rakhna (Mind your own business),” posted one user. “She’s not harassing someone. let her be. what’s your problem,” another observed. “She is minding her business,” posted another comment.

Others echoed similar views: “Minding her own business???? You should too,” one netizen posted. Another replied, “It’s called self love. India mein sab kuch problem hai (Everything is a problem in India).” “Mind ur own business bro,” another joked.

But the strongest worded comment was from a user who was asking about the morality of the video being filmed in the first place: “Dude. this isn’t right to take a person’s video without permission. I know you can laugh at it. but think of someone doing it to you or your loved ones. Instead of putting on Insta and asking the world, approach her and ask her.”

As of now, The Daily Guardian could not independently verify the exact date or authenticity of the footage.
