A video showing a young couple allegedly indulging in inappropriate behavior at Bengaluru’s Madavara Metro station has triggered a wave of outrage online. The clip, which surfaced on Friday, shows a boy placing his hand under the t-shirt of a girl—believed to be his girlfriend—while they waited for a metro train.
The footage, lasting one minute and 30 seconds, was shared by the X handle ‘Karnataka Portfolio’ with the caption, “Is Bengaluru Metro also moving towards Delhi Metro culture?” The post quickly gained traction as netizens began debating the growing trend of PDA in public transport spaces, previously associated with incidents from Delhi.

Despite the presence of several other passengers at the station, the couple appeared unbothered. A fellow commuter standing nearby reportedly recorded the scene, which has now gone viral.

Online users slammed the duo for their conduct. “Why these kinds of filthy happens only in Bangalore not in other metro cities like Hyderabad Chennai kochi,” one person wrote. Another user added, “Migrants for sure, not the locals. No wonder, some illiterate migrants from north are ruining the culture of south. Utterly shameless!”
Some netizens went as far as to speculate that the girl might be a minor. “Have some shame man! Have some decency! The girl maybe a minor.. @CPBlr Pls initiate action,” a user commented. Others questioned the ethics of sharing the unblurred video, stating, “People who talk about morality couldn’t blur their faces. Double speak.”
So far, Bengaluru Police and metro authorities have not issued an official statement on the matter.
