A violent incident in the upscale S Pocket of Pallavpuram Phase-2 in Meerut has triggered shock and concern after a couple was allegedly assaulted for objecting to the walking of a banned dog breed outside their residence.

What Sparked the Attack?

According to the complaint filed by the victim, Aarti Kadan, the altercation began when she and her daughter objected to a neighbour walking a banned dog breed in front of their house. The accused woman, identified as Tulika Mishra, allegedly reacted violently to the objection and called her son and several other men, who arrived soon after to confront Aarti and her husband, Dr. Vaibhav Rana.
