Is Supreme Court YouTube Channel Hacked? Promoting Cryptocurrency Videos
Supreme Court YouTube Channel
The Supreme Court’s YouTube channel appears to have been compromised, featuring videos promoting cryptocurrency from the US-based firm Ripple Labs.
In addition to several cryptocurrency-related videos, the channel also includes a live stream of a blank video titled “Brad Garlinghouse: Ripple Responds To The SEC’s $2 Billion Fine! XRP PRICE PREDICTION.”
The channel is mainly used by the apex court to live stream hearings on cases of public interest, a practice established following a landmark verdict in 2018.
According to official sources, Supreme Court authorities are currently working to resolve the issue promptly.
