In a disturbing incident from Chhattisgarh’s Balodabazar, a man allegedly stabbed his differently-abled father multiple times while under the influence of alcohol. The brutal attack took place on June 17 and was captured on the shop’s CCTV camera.

The victim, Narendra Singh Chawla, was going about his day at his store when his elder son, Amarjeet, suddenly entered on a two-wheeler. What started as a routine moment quickly turned violent. As Narendra stepped out upon noticing a bike’s arrival, Amarjeet leapt toward him and began stabbing him.

Knife Attack Caught on CCTV

The shocking footage shows Amarjeet stabbing his father at least 15 times in under 30 seconds. The elderly man’s cries of pain echoed through the store as he tried to defend himself. According to NavBharat Times, the attacker was heavily intoxicated during the assault.

Victim in Critical Condition

Narendra was rushed to the district hospital after the attack, where doctors declared his condition critical. Amarjeet, a former teacher who was reportedly dismissed from his job, allegedly blamed his father for his professional downfall, which may have triggered the violent outburst.

Accused Arrested, Investigation Underway

Following a police complaint filed by the victim, officials arrested Amarjeet and launched an investigation into the matter. Authorities are reviewing the CCTV footage as part of the inquiry.
