Soon, the mystery was solved, it was a quirky promotional stunt for the upcoming season of the hit series Panchayat. The bottle gourd has gained symbolic value in the show, particularly in Season 4, where it becomes the election symbol of Manju Devi, played by Neena Gupta.

Originally slated to release on July 2, Panchayat Season 4 will now premiere on June 24, thanks to overwhelming fan enthusiasm and an online poll that encouraged early launch.
