A shocking incident from Juri Nawadih village in Bihar’s Gaya district has stunned the locals. A man allegedly strangled his wife to death over a monetary dispute, in full view of their 6-year-old son.

The tragic incident occurred late Wednesday night in the Banke Bazar police station area. The deceased woman has been identified as 35-year-old Sushila Devi, wife of Vinay Chandravanshi. According to police, a quarrel erupted between the couple after Sushila gave ₹10,000 to her elder sister during a ritual gathering held in memory of her mother-in-law, who passed away 12 days ago.

“Papa Killed Mummy,” Says Son

Sources revealed that the argument intensified to a fatal level, leading Vinay to strangle Sushila in front of their young son. The child later informed relatives, saying, “Papa killed Mummy.” Sushila was the mother of three children.

Police Launch Investigation

Upon receiving information, the police reached the scene promptly, recovered the body, and sent it for post-mortem. A case has been registered and investigation is underway.

The brutal murder has left the village in deep sorrow. Locals expressed outrage over the gruesome crime, while the victim’s family remains devastated.
