The women who have been entrusted with PM Modi’s social media handles are Vaishali Rameshbabu from Chennai, Dr. Anjlee Agarwal from Delhi, Anita Devi from Nalanda, Elina Mishra from Bhubaneswar, Ajaita Shah from Rajasthan, and Shilpi Soni from Sagar. They all come from different areas of achievement.

Elina Mishra and Shilpi Soni

Elina Mishra, a nuclear scientist at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) in Mumbai, and Shilpi Soni, a space scientist at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), took over PM Modi’s social media together. Both are conducting pioneering research in their respective fields.

Ajaita Shah

Ajaita Shah, CEO and founder at Frontier Markets, has enabled more than 35,000 rural Indian women entrepreneurs to create a difference by filling the gap between rural markets and needed products. She has made women independent, successful entrepreneurs through her initiative.

Vaishali Rameshbabu

Vaishali Rameshbabu, the chess sensation, who was declared a Chess Grandmaster in 2023, started playing at the tender age of six. She has added glory to India at the global level with her strategic prowess and perseverance.

Anita Devi

Anita Devi, so-called ‘Mushroom Lady of Bihar’, started Madhopur Farmers Producers Company in 2016. Mushroom cultivation has provided financial empowerment to women of rural Bihar, making it possible for them to get jobs and be self-supporting financially.

Dr. Anjlee Agarwal

Dr. Anjlee Agarwal, a true believer in the concept of universal accessibility, created Samarthyam Centre for Universal Accessibility. Over 30 years, she devoted herself to promoting public and educational facilities accessible for people with disability.
