A four-year-old boy in Wisconsin called 911 last week to report a strange crime ‘his mother devouring his ice cream!’ The boy, from the village of Mount Pleasant, was dead set on getting justice, refusing to let officers “come and get my mommy.”
On the call, the young boy informed a Racine County dispatcher, “My mom is being bad.” The dispatcher, perplexed, inquired, “Ok, what’s going on?” The child was steadfast, encouraging the police to act.
But his mother was quick to intervene, taking the phone to clarify the situation. “This little one got the phone, and he’s 4… And so we’re trying to catch him because he said he was gonna call 911,” she informed the dispatcher. The boy then defiantly inserted, “No—I called the police, and I just told her to come and get my mommy. and I just told her to put her to jail.”. So leave me alone.” His mother laughed and explained, “I ate his ice cream, so that’s probably why he’s calling 911.”
Officers Arrive With a Sweet Gesture
When the officers came, the child changed his mind and did not want his mother arrested anymore. He just wanted ice cream. The officers appreciated the humor in the situation and returned later with a sweet treat, ice cream with blue sprinkles for the boy.
A picture posted on Facebook by the police department showed the touching moment, with the child smiling along with two police officers as he clutched his special treat.
