Two female officers of the U.S. Secret Service’s Uniformed Division have been suspended following a physical altercation near former President Barack Obama’s Washington, DC, home. The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. on May 21, and the video surfaced online earlier this week.
In the viral footage shared by journalist Susan Crabtree of RealClearPolitics, the officers are seen pushing and throwing punches at each other while on duty, just three kilometers from the White House.
One officer is heard urgently calling for help: “I need a supervisor out here… immediately before I whoop this girl’s a**.” The audio was included in the video posted on X (formerly Twitter). “#BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE: @RCPolitics has obtained video of the fight between two women Secret Service Uniformed Division Officers outside former President Obama’s residence last week after one officer called a supervisor to come before ‘I whoop this girl’s ass,’” wrote Crabtree.

Secret Service Responds
A spokesperson for the Secret Service confirmed the incident to The New York Post, stating: “The US Secret Service is aware of an on-duty altercation that occurred between two Uniformed Division officers at approximately 2:30 am on May 21.”
An internal investigation has been launched, and both officers have been suspended pending the outcome. The agency added, “The Secret Service has a very strict code of conduct for all employees and any behaviour that violates that code is unacceptable.”
Previous Incidents of Misconduct
This incident isn’t isolated. In April 2024, agent Michelle Herczeg, tasked with protecting Vice President Kamala Harris, was accused of attacking her supervisor after being removed from duty. Reports claimed she was throwing sanitary pads and yelling at colleagues before the confrontation.
Another 2024 case involved a drunk Secret Service agent who allegedly sexually assaulted a Harris staffer in a Wisconsin hotel. He was later found unconscious in the hallway.
In 2022, an agent was fired after sneaking a romantic partner into the Obamas’ Hawaii home and suggesting sexual activity in Michelle Obama’s bathroom, a serious breach of security protocol.
