Trump Bombs Iran’s Nuclear Sites, Then Posts About Peace, The Irony Isn’t Lost

Donald Trump’s message about peace after ordering bombings on Iran’s nuclear sites has left social media users stunned by the contradiction. In his post on Truth Social, Trump announced that the United States had attacked three key Iranian nuclear facilities: Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.

Trump Calls for Peace After Airstrikes

In his post, Trump wrote, “We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization confirmed that the Fordow, Isfahan, and Natanz sites were hit but promised that their nuclear program would continue. These strikes officially mark America’s direct involvement in Israel’s conflict with Iran, despite Trump’s previous claims of avoiding new wars.

In his national address, Trump declared that Iran’s “key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated.” He warned that even larger attacks would follow if Iran refuses to pursue peace, raising concerns about deeper US involvement in the Middle East conflict.

Internet Reacts to Trump’s Irony

Social media users quickly pointed out the irony of Trump’s message. X user Alex Cole commented, “Bombing nuclear sites and yelling ‘NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE’ is like punching someone in the face and demanding a group hug.” Sarah, another user, wrote, “Imagine bombing 3 nuclear sites in a sovereign country. Then congratulating yourself for peace. Madness in a suit.”

Another post read, “Imagine dropping the world’s biggest non-nuclear bombs on Iran 3X & then having the audacity to say, ‘Now is the time for Peace.’ Trump lied, he is President for War not Peace.”

One more user added, “Trump just bombed Iran and declared that NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE. I mean nothing screams of peace like bombing someone.” Another wrote, “Starting a war & declaring peace while complicit in genocide then asks for a Nobel Peace Prize, the irony…Trump’s ego is the size of a planet.”
