Netanyahu: ‘Trump and I Are Working in Full Cooperation’

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Jerusalem, reaffirming strong US-Israel relations. Netanyahu described Trump as “the greatest friend Israel has ever had in the White House.”

He emphasized that both nations are united in countering Iran’s influence, stating, “We agreed that the ayatollahs must not have nuclear weapons and that Iran’s aggression in the region must be rolled back.”

Israel’s Ongoing Actions Against Iran and Hamas

Netanyahu highlighted Israel’s military efforts against Iranian-backed groups, declaring, “Over the past 16 months, we have dealt a mighty blow to Iran’s terror axis. Under Trump’s leadership and with your support, we will finish the job.”

Regarding the ongoing conflict in Gaza, he assured that the US remains steadfast in backing Israel’s policies.

“President Trump and I are working in full cooperation and coordination. While we cannot share all strategic details, we are determined to achieve all war objectives,” Netanyahu stated.

He reiterated Israel’s goals:

  • Eliminate Hamas’s military and political control in Gaza.
  • Secure the release of all Israeli hostages.
  • Ensure Gaza never again poses a threat to Israel.

Netanyahu also discussed efforts to implement Trump’s “bold vision for Gaza” and praised his administration’s decision to reinstate sanctions against the International Criminal Court (ICC).

“We are working together to formulate a common strategy to neutralize the threat of lawfare once and for all,” he added.
