Firefighters are tackling a major blaze at an apartment building in Harlem, Manhattan, that broke out around 9 p.m. Wednesday night.

The FDNY is responding to a four-alarm fire at a five-story building located at 108 W. 139th St., between Lenox Avenue and Powell Boulevard. Officials shared footage of the large flames on their X account.

Approximately 170 fire and EMS personnel, along with nearly 40 units, are on-site.

The fire affected the first three floors and spread to 106 W. 139th St.

Residents told Eyewitness News that the building has been vacant for several years. There are no reports of injuries at this time.
