Elon Musk’s father, Errol Musk, has publicly lashed out at his son’s parenting abilities, stating that the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX was mostly absent in his children’s lives. On the Wide Awake Podcast with host Joshua Rubin, Errol claimed Elon prioritized hired caregivers over actively raising his kids.

Errol Musk on Elon’s Parenting

Rubin questioned Errol in the interview directly, “Do you think Elon is a good dad?” Errol replied forthrightly: “No, he hasn’t been a good dad.”

Elaborating on his view, Errol spoke of the devastating death of Elon’s first child, Nevada Alexander, whom he had with his former wife, Justine Wilson. Nevada died as an infant because of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).

“The baby was cared for too much by nannies and, sadly, passed away while under their watch. If Elon hears me saying this, he might be furious or something, but this is simply my perspective. I don’t think it’s acceptable,” Errol explained.

Errol went on further to highlight that Elon Musk had done the same with his other children. “They had too much money, too many nannies. Then, he had five more kids with the same woman. Five sons, each raised with their own nanny. Do you see what I mean?” he continued.

In response to whether Elon ever hung out with his children, Errol had a quick answer: “No.”

Elon Musk’s Alleged 13th Child?

Errol Musk made the declaration during recent accusations from conservative influencer and author Ashley St Clair that she bore Elon Musk a child. St Clair took to X (previously Twitter), stating that she had given birth to a baby five months ago and that Musk was the father.

“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father,” she stated, signing the post with the Latin words “Alea lacta est” (The die is cast).

St Clair added that she had kept it secret before as a way to safeguard their child. “I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause. l intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child’s privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting,” she continued.

If St Clair’s claim is true, this would be Musk’s 13th child. Musk has five children with his first wife, Justine Wilson—twins Vivian and Griffin and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian. He also has three children with musician Grimes—son X Æ A-Xii (also referred to as X), daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, and son Techno Mechanicus. Musk also has twins with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis.
