As the Iran-Israel conflict entered its fifth consecutive day, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Tuesday claimed it launched a successful missile attack targeting key Israeli intelligence facilities. According to a report by Iran’s state-run Tasnim News Agency, the IRGC stated that its Aerospace Force carried out the strike against the Mossad spy agency’s centre in Tel Aviv.

“The Aerospace Force units of the IRGC successfully struck a major centre of the Zionist regime’s Mossad spy agency,” said the IRGC in a statement.

Mossad and AMAN Said to Be Targets

The IRGC also claimed that the attack hit not only Mossad’s base but also the headquarters of AMAN, Israel’s military intelligence directorate. These facilities, reportedly located in the Tel Aviv suburb of Herzliya, are known for intelligence operations, including the planning of “assassinations and evil acts,” according to the IRGC statement.

While Iranian authorities circulated videos online showing smoke rising from the alleged Mossad location, Israel has not issued any official confirmation or response. Additionally, the Israeli military censor has restricted domestic media from publishing any footage or details about the impact on the site in Herzliya.

Operation Rising Lion and Iran’s Response

The missile strike came as a retaliatory move following Israel’s recent launch of “Operation Rising Lion,” a military campaign that included targeted strikes on Iranian military bases and nuclear facilities.

In response, Iran has fired dozens of missiles and drones into Israeli territory, resulting in at least 24 Israeli deaths and over 400 injuries. Meanwhile, Iranian officials claim Israeli attacks have killed 224 people in Iran and nearby regions, with many victims being women and children.

The ongoing operation has pushed Tehran and Tel Aviv into a cycle of military retaliation, triggering the most intense and deadly phase of their long-standing conflict in recent years.
