Partygoers filled the fruit into bags, clothes, and whatever else they could find.

A video of the chaos has since gone viral, sharing fast on platforms. Based on reports, the gleeful crowd soon lost all decorum, disregarding the event’s propriety to pick up mangoes in a chaotic frenzy. The clip clearly depicts individuals scooping up mangoes as if there were no rules to follow.

The online viral video has produced a combination of responses. Although there were social media users who found the situation amusing, others were much more vitriolic. One commenter directly noted, “These are the same people who’d steal your vehicle and jewellery if you had an accident rather than provide you with first aid.”

It occurred on June 24 and was recorded in various videos that soon became viral on social media, showing just how close individuals were to serious injury.

Video footage posted by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Utah captured vacationers having fun in the water mere seconds before a huge chunk of rock detached from the cliff, crashing into the pool mere feet away. Luckily, nobody was injured, although park authorities have since cautioned visitors to be careful when visiting the site.

Ryan, who had a job as a dishwasher at a local restaurant, initially observed the floodwaters alongside Wilson when it had already risen to their ankles. His 6-year-old son and his mother immediately ran towards the bedroom to find safety.

Details of the Incident

Wilson described how events turned sinister when the trailer’s front door was thrown open, water flooding in fast. “Right after that, water went up to their waists,” she explained. Desperate to protect their children, the couple put them on a mattress, hoping it would float them to safety.

But the pressure of the water pushed the bedroom door closed and they were trapped. In a last-ditch effort to provide an exit, Ryan punched out the window, but the sharp glass cut deeply into his arm. His mother and Wilson both tried to dial 911, but nobody came as the water kept rising.

He lost so much blood and just didn’t think he would survive,” Wilson said in an interview with the New York Times. Later, the strong floodwaters ripped the trailer in two. Wilson, Ryan’s mother, and the two children survived but Ryan did not.

“He died saving us,” Wilson said, calling Ryan the “best father” who was always ready to assist others “no matter what it cost.

The catastrophic flash floods in Texas have already left at least 51 people dead. Among the missing are a few individuals, including 27 girls at a summer camp in Kerr County. Rescue crews are still searching for victims and stranded survivors by helicopter, boat, and drone.

Soham Parekh is the overnight social media hit after being accused of keeping jobs at several American startups at the same time. The controversy broke out when Suhail Doshi, the co-founder and former CEO of the analytics company Mixpanel, alleged Parekh was ‘scamming’ companies by keeping jobs at three to four startups.

Man Stabs Shark in ‘Revenge’ for Stealing Fish, Gets Arrested

Zane Garrett, 26, of Florida, was arrested on Thursday after a video from Snapchat depicted him stabbing a shark over and over, igniting outrage and an investigation. Garrett now faces a charge of aggravated animal cruelty, according to the New York Post.

The video, taken on May 22 near a wreck site just off Key West, was titled ‘Bud broke my rod’ and depicts Garrett brutally stabbing a bull shark in the head repeatedly. The video soon went viral online and was reported to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) by an unidentified whistleblower.

The tipster, who was worried for public safety, informed officials: “Yes, to weapons for the 9-11 inch filet knife, yes to violent behavior for stabbing a shark over and over, yes to being worried about them being stupid enough to post themselves committing a crime.”

Garrett Identified and Questioned

Garrett, who appeared as a captain on Second Nature Charters’ website, was singled out by the video’s first poster. When asked, he acknowledged it was him, saying, “Yah, that’s me.”

Though Garrett had first attributed the act to deterrence against sharks stealing catches, he later admitted that his actions were driven by ‘revenge’, admitting the shark was a pest after stealing his fish.

His arrest warrant cited him as having said: “I asked Mr. Garrett if he believed that the constant pounding would kill the shark eventually, to which he replied, ‘No. It takes a lot more than stabbing a shark in the head.'”

History of Shark Violence

Garrett also confessed to having previously killed sharks with guns and knives, usually without taking them on board. Officials found that he was not properly licensed to work as a boat captain and had previously been investigated for presenting himself falsely.

The FWC classified the act as ‘egregious’, reporting it caused unnecessary suffering to the animal.

Garrett is currently incarcerated at Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Key West facility, with a $10,000 bail. He is to be arraigned on June 26.

Almost two decades prior to becoming the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Leo XIV, who was then Father Robert Francis Prevost, had made a visit to a school in Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore. A photo of his visit to Shenbagam Matriculation Higher Secondary School at Pollachi during 2006 has gone viral on social media in recent times.

He was the Prior General of the Order of Saint Augustine at the time of this October 2006 visit, a position he remained in from 2001 to 2013. The then commonly shared picture was even uploaded on Instagram by Trinamool Congress (TMC) Rajya Sabha MP Derek O’Brien.

Posting the photo, O’Brien described: “The new Pope. 19 years ago in 2006, a 50-year-old priest, Fr Robert Prevost travelled to India. He was at that time then the world leader of the Order of St. Augustine.” He also mentioned the school was being run by the “Augustinian Fathers under the Diocese of Coimbatore.”

Emphasizing the legacy of the Augustinian Order, the MP further stated: “There are a total of 2,800 Augustinian priests serving in 47 nations across the globe.” He also stated that the mission in India started 450 years ago when Portuguese missionaries came to Goa.

Today, the Order of Saint Augustine runs two schools and three parishes in India.

Father Prevost came to India twice while he was the Prior General first in 2004 and then again in 2006. During both his visits, he met Augustinian congregations in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. In 2013, when his term ended, he went back to Chicago, where he went on to work in different capacities. In November 2014, Pope Francis named him as the Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Chiclayo in Peru, Vatican News informs.

Adding to the narrative, Father Wilson Injerappu, regional Vicar of the Augustinian Order in India, informed PTI that Pope Leo XIV had come by car from Kochi to Pollachi. Describing him as a humble man, he remembered: “He encouraged the students in the school” during his visit.

In late January, Guo went hiking near the Yangtze River while visiting his hometown. Later, as he reviewed his photos, he noticed something unusual. A mountain in the background closely resembled a dog’s head, with its snout resting at the river’s edge.

Ambedkar graduated with a BA in Economics and Political Science from Bombay University. He then received a scholarship to study at Columbia University in New York, where he completed both his MA and PhD.

He then moved to London where he joined the London School of Economics (LSE) to pursue economics and also enrolled at Grey’s Inn to read law. Forced by the financial constraint to return to India in 1917, he continued his study with support from Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj of Kolhapur, who provided him with monetary assistance, a loan by a friend, and finally his personal savings. He became a barrister and also completed his MSc and DSc at LSE.

After India’s first General Election in 1952, Ambedkar was elected to the Rajya Sabha and also received an honorary doctorate from Columbia University. The next year, he received another honorary doctorate from Osmania University.

The viral image that depicts qualifications of Ambedkar has instigated many in the Internet. He further abused her, calling her a “Bhikhari ki aulad (Child of a beggar).

As Ohshin declined to engage, his attitude became worse. “Saste me chahiye paidal ja (Walk if you want to save money), ” the driver said. Later the driver canceled the ride by himself. Ohshin finally booked an Uber ride from the place.

The Electric State: New Trailer For Netflix’s Post-Apocalyptic Sci-Fi Adventure

A post-apocalyptic world destroyed by a horrific struggle between humans and robots is explored by Chris Pratt and Millie Bobby Brown in the most recent teaser for Netflix’s upcoming science fiction movie, The Electric State. The movie is by Anthony and Joe Russo and hits theatres on March 14, 2025

The plot, in the 1990s setting, revolves around Millie Brown‘s character, a teenager, who with the help of her robot friend tries to find her missing young brother. Along the way, they are joined by a wanderer, played by Chris Pratt, on a hazardous journey across a chaotic planet left in disarray by the fight between robots and humans

The movie also features an all-star cast that includes Stanley Tucci, Giancarlo Esposito, Woody Norman, Jason Alexander, and Ke Huy Quan. Woody Harrelson, Anthony Mackie, Brian Cox, Jenny Slate, Hank Azaria, Colman Domingo, and Alan Tudyk also lend voice to the film. In a preview of the movie, Brown’s character comments on the devastation caused by the rebellion, “Right now, all of us have something in common. We all lost something after the rebellion. Robots lost their freedom. Humans lost connection with each other. And I lost everyone I loved – or so I though.”

Nick Jonas Endorses Elon Musk, Sparks Backlash From Fans

Nick Jonas recently replied to a meme that Tesla founder Elon Musk shared on X, formerly Twitter. A post from an X user began the conversation when they shared an article called “Elon Musk and the Decline of Tesla,” which criticised Musk’s leadership of the company and its future. The individual pointed out in the post that since Donald Trump’s election, Tesla’s stock has skyrocketed. Musk added to the tweet, including an image of Nick with his brother Kevin from some old Jonas Brothers video along with the comment, “My, how the tables have turned!”.

This he replies in Nick’s post of another Elon pointing and grinning caption “Take us to the year 3000.” Several of Nick’s followers complained about this and were greatly offended by him supporting a Musk. Some hated the joke and asked about the brothers political values; while concerning to the contentious behaviour of women-related issues, several fans instructed nick to take the article offline.

Vedang Raina Returns To Alma Mater As Chief Guest, Reflects On School Memories

On December 17, Vedang Raina returned to his alma mater, Mumbai’s Jamnabai Narsee School, and felt a sense of pride and nostalgia. The actor reflected on how life had come full circle after being invited as the main guest at the yearly sports meet for kids with disabilities. He recalled his last memory of the event when he had accompanied the main visitor back then, Alia Bhatt. “Now, to return as the chief guest myself, especially after working with Alia, feels surreal,” he said. He was amazed and tear-jerking to watch the current student council in action because it reminded him of his own time.

Vedang later reminds Alia Bhatt of the day that they collaborated on Jigra, though he doesn’t speak to her at this sporting event. He discovered that they shared a common school house, which was such a delightful fact that helps them connect. The children at that school were over the moon to see Vedang and, when asked if he felt the same amount of delight when celebrities visited his school, he said yes even though he never mentioned this. After reflecting on those visits and how they impacted him, he said that’s what he wants today’s kids to dream big enough for to be called back as a guest of honour not just to pursue acting.

Memories were rushing during his visit as he recollected so much from his classroom. At board exams, Vedang was recollecting an incident which had emotional value where after completing the paper, with all of his assurance of having cracked everything, he noticed that there was still time for answering a 10-mark question. Even after being attacked by intense panic, he could garner 91 that he has witnessed to be one of the best ever. He is proud that he says his top flex remains the 97% board score.

When asked whether he is a troublemaker or a teacher’s pet, Vedang told he was a little of both. Though excellent academically, certain teachers were displeased because he often did not go to class due to attending practice with the band. At the same time, the same teachers began to find favor with him because of his involvement with the student council. He made major strides back into his school days when he ran across former instructors.

Russell Brand Ordered To Depose In Ongoing Sexual Assault Lawsuit

Actor and comedian Russell Brand is going to face a sexual assault case, and a U.S. judge has ordered him to take a deposition. As per the New York court, the deposition of Brand has been scheduled for February 25, 2025. Weeks before Brand’s deposition, on January 21, 2025, the accuser would give her statement, as court documents obtained by a magazine show.

Jane Doe filed the case in November 2023, stating that on the set of a film Russell was shooting in 2010, he exposed himself in front of the actors and the crew. According to her, Russell was coming to the set with vodka bottle in his hand; he looked drunk and reeked of alcohol. Moreover, the alleged victim also reports that when a crew member was standing by the door, he entered the bathroom where she was and sexually assaulted her. She claims to be extremely embarrassed, ashamed, and fearful because of the incident. According to reports, the incident occurred during the filming of the comedy Arthur, in which Russell acted.

The allegations have been denied by Russell Brand, whose lawyer claims that he was just acting drunk as part of his character. According to the lawyer, Brand had to pretend to be drunk to play the role of Arthur Bach, which was first portrayed by Dudley Moore in the 1981 movie. However, the lawyer was quick to point out that Brand did not take drugs or drink during filming.

The complaint has been outstanding for more than a year now, and Russell is requesting that the complaint be dismissed based on the delay of the accuser. However, the judge, during the last session that took place on December 3, granted Jane Doe extra time to pursue her case.
