YouTuber and actress Prajakta Koli is set to marry her longtime partner, lawyer Vrishank Khanal, today in Karjat. The wedding activities, which kicked off on February 23, will end on February 25.

According to HT city reports, celebrity guests such as Vidya Balan, rappers Badshah, Varun Dhawan, and Raftaar are likely to join the big wedding. Highlighting the experience, Prajakta will be dressed in a long bridal outfit by Anita Dongre. It will also reutilize her mother’s wedding saree and jewelry for pre-wedding events.

‘Baby John’ OTT Release Date is Out: Watch on Prime Video

Bollywood Actor Varun Dhawan’s latest action-packed entertainer, ‘Baby John,’ is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. ‘Baby John’ film fans can watch the high-octane thriller on OTT beginning on February 19. Released in theaters on December 25 last year. It has disappointed the fans at the box office.

The film is marked as an official remake of Atlee’s Tamil hit ‘Theri.’ Filmmaker Kalees directs ‘Baby John,’ which has an ensemble cast that includes Wamiqa Gabbi, Keerthy Suresh, Jackie Shroff, and Rajpal Yadav, with special entries by Sanya Malhotra and Salman Khan.

Baby John is produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande. This film is directed by Jio Studios in association with Atlee and Cine1 Studios.

The film is about DCP ‘Satya Verma’ (played by Varun Dhawan). He pretends to die to protect his daughter from a cunning politician, Babbar Sher. But as old foes return, Satya has to face his demons and battle to save his family.

Talking about the OTT release of the film, Varun Dhawan shared, “Baby John is a milestone project for me. It tested my limits as an actor, physically and emotionally.”

Box Office Earning

Initially referred to as VD18, Baby John experienced a poor theatrical run. Opening to a low ₹11.25 crore on the first day, the movie declined drastically on the second day to ₹4.25 crore.

The film, despite hype, concluded its box office stint in three weeks, grossing only ₹61 crore globally compared to a quoted budget of more than ₹150 crore.

Although its mixed-to-negative reviews by critics provided less than encouragement, its OTT release now provides the movie with a second opportunity to reach even more people. Action drama buffs can now stream Baby John on Prime Video.

The highly anticipated sequel to the 1997 war epic is currently being filmed in the rugged cantonment area of Jhansi.

Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 is poised to be a grand cinematic event, featuring a star-studded cast that includes Sunny Deol reprising his iconic role, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty.

The original film, directed by JP Dutta, was a milestone in Indian cinema, depicting the 1971 India-Pakistan war and introducing memorable characters, such as Suniel Shetty’s portrayal of BSF officer Bhairav Singh.

Varun Dhawan and his wife, Natasha Dalal, have invested quite heavily in a luxury property in the luxury belt of the prime Juhu locality of Mumbai. The Rs 44.52 crore worth apartment will come with four car parking spaces on the seventh floor of an under-construction building and spreads over 5,112 square feet. MahaRERA registration documents show that the property is scheduled to be completed by May 31, 2025. Reports claim that the flat costs more than Rs 87,000 per square foot.

The property was registered on December 3, and Varun paid a whopping Rs 2.67 crore in stamp duty for the purchase. While confirmation from the actor’s team is still awaited, the details regarding the registration and the property’s specifications have been accessed through official documents. The Juhu and Bandra areas, where this new home is situated, are home to numerous high-profile Bollywood celebrities such as Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Akshay Kumar.

Besides this latest acquisition, Varun Dhawan owns another property in Mumbai. He has an apartment in Carter Road’s Sagar Darshan, which is valued at around Rs 60 crore. I am not sure if they recognize it but it is important to change with time. We all will have to do it or we’ll lose relevance, including me.”

Actor Varun Dhawan recently expressed his admiration for superstar Salman Khan and shared his thoughts on Khan’s role in the upcoming film Baby John.

Speaking at a press conference in New Delhi, Dhawan reflected on his experience working with Salman Khan, saying, “It is wonderful. I think whenever you get a chance to work with such a big superstar, a megastar, such a magnanimous human being, it’s amazing.”

Salman Khan will make a special appearance in the film, and Dhawan revealed that Khan’s role is unique and will leave a lasting impact. “It’s a completely original character crafted for him by Atlee sir. There’s nothing like this character that’s been seen before. Baby John is an adaptation of Atlee’s 2016 Tamil film Theri, which starred Vijay and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Dhawan explained the differences between the two versions: “When Atlee came with this project, he emphasised the need to adapt the story, not remake it. We’ve changed the geography and many story angles. It’s an adaptation focused on parenting, women’s safety, and a significant case inspired by real events. If someone expects a scene-by-scene remake, they will be disappointed.”

Dhawan also spoke about his passion for action films and how Baby John allowed him to explore innovative action sequences. “You’ll see very creative action in the film. I’m obsessed with martial arts, and MMA fans will notice some flying knee moves. There are even one or two wrestling moves inspired by WWE. What happened at the Pushpa 2 Screening?

On December 4, Allu Arjun visited the screening of Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. A large crowd had gathered there to see the actor. It turned into a stampede killing a 35-year-old woman and hospitalizing her son. In the aftermath, Allu Arjun mourned and extended financial support to the amount of Rs. 25 lakh to the family of the dead woman.

Alia shared a post on her Instagram Stories from @themotherhoodhome, advocating for children’s safety and peace in Rafah, with the caption “#AllEyesOnRafah.” Kareena Kapoor also shared a UNICEF post condemning the killing of children and families in Rafah. Varun Dhawan posted the “All Eyes on Rafah” image on his Instagram stories in protest of Israel’s attack.

The conflict saw Israeli shelling and airstrikes killing at least 37 people in Rafah, many of whom were sheltering in tents. In the pictures, dad-to-be Varun wore a casual white T-shirt with a blue flowery shirt and matching pants, while Natasha was seen softly holding her growing baby bump in an off-the-shoulder white floral dress. In other photos, the soon-to-be parents posed with their loved ones.

Varun’s father, director David Dhawan, was also present in one of the videos, where his mother, Karuna Dhawan, could be seen dancing to the background music.

Actor Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput Kapoor, also attended the baby shower and tweeted a sweet photo from the occasion on Sunday.
