A dramatic incident unfolded outside the Chief Development Officer’s (CDO) bungalow in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, when a woman publicly assaulted her husband with slippers. The area, known for being one of the busiest in the city, turned into a spectacle as bystanders witnessed the confrontation and recorded videos, which are now circulating widely on social media.

“Dusri Aurat Rakh Li Issne”

The woman, who has reportedly been married for ten years, accused her husband of infidelity. “Dusri aurat rakh li issne,” she said during the altercation, a line that translates to, “Now he is with another woman.” Along with hitting him, she also verbally abused him while venting her anger in full public view.

She alleged that he stopped communicating properly and failed to contribute financially to the household. Later, she discovered that he had secretly married another woman and was openly roaming with her.

Indian prime minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh chief minister, Yogi Adityanath have garnered the attention of many politicians after the construction of Shri Ram Janmaboomi Temple in Banaras and Mauritius Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration, and International Trade, Dhananjay Ramful is just one of them.

Ramful said on Tuesday, that he wanted to visit Ram Temple in Ayodhya after the elections in Mauritius and added that he is impressed by the temple built here.

“I came here on a private visit. You know, there was the general election in Mauritius and after the general election, I always wanted to come here. It was my wish to come and have the darshan of Lord Ram. So I started my pilgrimage in Banaras. I went to the Kashi Vishwanath Mandir and then I came over here to Ayodhya to get the blessings of Lord Ram, ” Speaking about his visit to Ram Temple, Dhananjay Ramful said.

He praised PM Modi and CM Yogi for the development in Ayodhya and temple. He said that started his visit from Banaras and visited Kashi Vishwanath Temple there.

“I have to congratulate the Chief Minister, Yogi Ji, Prime Minister Narendra Modi for whatever they’ve done here with regards to the development here in Ayodhya as well as the temple. It’s a great temple and it is something very immense and I feel very proud as well. I was very much impressed by the temple that was built here,” he said

Earlier this year, PM Modi led rituals at the Pran Pratishtha ceremony in the sanctum sanctorum of the Shri Ram Janmaboomi Temple of Ram Lalla. The magnificent Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir is constructed in traditional Nagara style.

The pillars and walls of the temple showcase intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities, gods, and goddesses. In the main sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor, the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram (the idol of Shri Ramlalla) has been placed.

Earlier in November, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar congratulated Dhananjay Ramful on his appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration, and International Trade of Mauritius.

In a post on X, Jaishankar said that he looks forward to working closely with Ramful to strengthen the “special ties of friendship” and deepen the multi-faceted cooperation.

Fire Erupts in Coach of Dibrugarh-Lalgarh Express in UP, No Casualties Reported”

UP News: A fire broke out at a coach of a Bihar-bound train, stationed at Bareilly Junction here in Uttar Pradesh, officials said on Monday. According to Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Chandra Mohan Sharma, the fire broke out at a general coach of Dibrugarh-Lalgarh Express. He said that one person was carrying firecrackers illegally which caught fire while he was smoking a cigarette.

“The blaze broke out in the S2 coach of Dibrugarh-Lalgarh Express. The passenger sitting on seats number 55 and 56 of this coach was carrying firecrackers illegally. The explosive material must have caught fire while he smoked a cigarette,” the CFO said.

“As soon as we received the information we rushed to the spot and the fire was brought under control using fire extinguishers,” he stated, adding that no casualties have been reported in the incident.

Meanwhile, a passenger sustained an injury on the head while he was running for his life during the incident.

Ghaziabad: Police sexually harasses woman in park, extort money from fiancé

A 22-year-old woman hailing from Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh has come forward with allegations of sexual harassment involving police officers in Ghaziabad on September 16.

According to her account, the incident occurred while she and her fiancé, who is a resident of Bulandshahr, were in the Sai Upvan forest in Ghaziabad. They were approached by two police personnel identified as Rakesh Kumar and Digambar Kumar, accompanied by another uniformed individual whose identity remains unknown.

The police officers purportedly threatened to arrest the woman’s fiancé and demanded a sum of ₹10,000 from the couple. Despite the couple’s pleas and even falling at the officers’ feet in desperation, they were met with refusal. Eventually, the fiancé was coerced into transferring ₹1,000 via PayTM. Additionally, the unidentified individual allegedly issued a menacing threat, demanding ₹5.5 lakh from the woman.

In her formal complaint, the woman accused the policemen of physical assault, with Rakesh Kumar allegedly committing a sexual assault. The couple was allegedly held captive for approximately three hours before being released, but their ordeal did not conclude there.

Following the initial incident, the accused continued to harass the woman through incessant phone calls and even visited her residence. On September 19, Rakesh Kumar contacted the woman with further harassment, prompting her to record their conversation as evidence. Upon discovering that the couple intended to file a First Information Report (FIR) against the three men, Rakesh Kumar showed up unannounced at the woman’s residence and issued threats.

Subsequently, after enduring ten days of harassment and trauma, the couple officially lodged an FIR on September 28. As of now, all three accused individuals are evading law enforcement, as stated by senior Ghaziabad police officer Nimish Patil, who also noted the initiation of an extensive investigation to locate and apprehend them.

UP teen went to make Instagram reel with train, hit by it

A tragic incident occurred in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, where a 16-year-old boy named Farhan lost his life while attempting to create an Instagram reel. His unfortunate demise was captured on the mobile phones of his friends and subsequently circulated on social media.

Farhan’s intention was to include a speeding train as a background element in his reel. Regrettably, his attempt at this stunt went terribly wrong, resulting in a collision with the train.

The distressing video, which has been widely shared on social media platforms, shows the train striking the boy and propelling him into the air before he crashes to the ground. This tragic accident took place in the vicinity of the Jahangirabad police station.

The authorities have taken the necessary steps, including conducting a post-mortem examination and initiating an investigation into the incident.

Lucknow: Five of a family killed after house collapses

According to authorities, at least five members of a family perished after a house fell in the Anand Naga neighborhood of Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow on Saturday. According to the police, the event occurred in a Railway colony within the jurisdiction of the Alambagh police station in Lucknow.

“We got the information that five people were injured in the house collapse that occurred in the railway colony of the Anand Nagar area under the Alambagh police station area in Lucknow. Later, they were taken to a hospital where they were declared dead by the doctors”, said Upendra Kumar Aggarwal, Joint DCP, Law and Order, Lucknow.

“The incident took place this morning. The house belonged to a former railway employee who was living with her family”, added the Joint DCP.

Speaking further, the joint DCP stated that the colony had been abandoned by the Railways Department and that the residence had been served with a notice to evacuate. However, the causes of the collapse have yet to be determined. Meanwhile, the Lucknow District Magistrate arrived on the scene and assessed the situation.

“The incident is saddening. There were five people belonging to a family who were sleeping in the house located in the Railways Colony. Suddenly, the house collapsed and they died. The officials are present at the spot. We are discussing this with the Railways officials and inspecting the nearby houses too”, said Surpal Gangwar, District Magistrate (DM), Lucknow.

“CM Yogi Adityanath took cognizance of the situation and asked the officials to reach the spot and provide all possible help to the locals. Along with this, we are giving notice to the locals to vacate all the damaged houses in the colony”, DM Gangwar added.

Kaushambi: 3 members of family killed over land dispute, 2 held

A top police official claimed on Friday that three members of a family were shot dead in a land dispute case in Uttar Pradesh’s Kaushambi district. According to police, two people have been arrested in connection with the case, and a First Information Report (FIR) has been filed against them at the Sandeepan Ghat Police Station.

Hori Lal, 62, his daughter Brijkali, 22, and son-in-law Shiv Sagar, 26, were resting outside their home when they were shot dead by unknown gunmen. As word of the triple homicide spread, a horde of enraged residents set fire to a number of cottages in the neighborhood, according to authorities.

A police contingent was dispatched to preserve law and order in the region.
During the early investigation, 4 people were identified as suspects, and different teams were organized to apprehend them. Police said they were notified of the incident around 6:15 a.m. on Friday. Fire tenders were dispatched to the scene after obtaining information.

Earlier, Brijesh Srivastava, Superintendent of Police, Kaushambi, said, “The names of four people have come out as the accused…They are absconding. We are in search of them…We are collecting all the information.”

“The deceased include a man, his daughter and son-in-law. They were sleeping outside their home when the incident happened. They had conducted an exercise to measure land some days ago,” the police official said.

‘Many huts in the village have been set on fire. The fire has been brought under control. The situation is under control,” the official said. More investigation is underway.

UP: 21-year-old kills father, grandfather, Find out the reason

According to authorities, a 21-year-old man hacked his father and grandfather to death in Dankaur, Greater Noida. Jasmine, the accused, has been apprehended, and the police have found the weapons used in the double murder on September 7th.

Jasmine allegedly murdered his father, Vikramajit Rao, and grandfather, Ramkumar, in an under-construction film studio in Dankaur’s Ballu Khera hamlet. The killings occurred while they were sleeping.

Jasmine informed the cops that his father’s partying and overall disregard for his mother bothered the entire family. He said that his mother was abused and harassed, prompting her to flee his father’s home with her children. Vikramajit Rao resided separately from the family in Greater Noida, and the couple was divorcing.

Jasmine went to the studio on the night of the shocking double murder with the intention of killing his father. He slashed him across the face, neck, and head with an axe he kept nearby. During the attack, the grandfather, a retired roads employee who was resting on a cot next to his father, awoke.

Out of dread of being recognized, Jasmine attacked him on the head, neck, and face. When Jasmine noticed Ramkumar was moving, he became concerned that he could survive and struck him numerous times on the head with a hammer. He then threw the weapons near a closed restroom, leapt over the wall, ran home, and washed his blood-stained clothes before collapsing.

The weapons have been found, and the offender has been taken into jail, according to Greater Noida Deputy Commissioner of Police Ashok Kumar.

UP: 2 doctors booked for drunkenness

Two doctors who were arrested for causing a public nuisance while inebriated have gone missing while receiving treatment at the district hospital in Bareilly, authorities said.

Dr. Shailesh Ranjan, emergency officer at the Bareilly district hospital, informed ANI that he received a call on Friday from Dr. LK Saxena informing him that the two accused physicians, Dr. Vaibhav Shukla and Dr. Rahul Bajpayee, were gone from the hospital.

“I received a call from Dr. LK Saxena saying that Dr. Vaibhav Shukla and Dr. Rahul Bajpayee have absconded and he asked me to send this information to police station…I got BHT (Bed Head Ticket) of both (Dr. Vaibhav and Dr. Rahul) from emergency…the BHT mentioned both to be absconded at 2 pm…” said emergency officer Dr. Ranjan.

UP: Yogi government all set to promote Mati Kala

According to an official release from the Chief Minister’s office, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has authorized the second installment of the budgeted cash for promoting ‘Mati Kala’ (clay art) in the state.

The goal is to promote ‘Mati Kala’ by nurturing traditional arts, rural culture, and rural enterprises in the state. Following government clearance, the Uttar Pradesh Matikala Board will get the second instalment of Rs 1.66 crore, which will be used to promote traditional clay art in the state.

It is worth noting that the Yogi government had allotted a total of Rs. 10 crore for different programs aimed at promoting ‘Mati Kala’ in the state, with the board having previously received the first tranche of Rs 1.66 crore.

The government has now authorized the second installment of Rs 1.66 crore from the remaining Rs 8.33 crore. In accordance with the Chief Minister’s objective, the Department of Cottage and Rural Industries has already issued instructions for the release of the second payment to the Uttar Pradesh Matikala Board.

Similarly to the last installment, the route has been cleared for the board to get Rs 1.66 crore in financial support for promoting ‘Mati Kala’ in the state. The Yogi government has also put in place some restrictions and conditions for granting the money.

According to these criteria, the allowed amount shall be used depending on immediate needs. The sanctioned sum shall be used in accordance with the criteria, and the Khadi Board will provide the government with a certificate of utility.

Notably, the Matikala Board had asked funds for different expenses and detailed project plans to promote Mati Kala across the state under the Yogi government’s budget.

‘Mati kala’ is creating a new identity for the state.

Won’t let injustice happen to anyone, says CM Yogi Adityanath

According to an official statement from the UP government, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed officials on Monday to take strict legal action against anyone who illegally intrude on people’s land and try to injure or destroy the helpless.

During the Janata Darshan at Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan on the precincts of Gorakhnath temple, the Chief Minister gave instructions to the officials. According to the statement, CM Yogi heard the complaints and grievances of 400 persons and sent their prayer letters to the appropriate authorities. CM Yogi directed employees to resolve their issues in a timely and agreeable manner, assuring guests that no injustice would be done to anyone during his tenure.

CM Yogi stated that the government will provide full assistance for the treatment of patients who request financial assistance. After handing over their petitions to officials, the Chief Minister requested that the cost of treatment be estimated as quickly as possible and made available to the government, according to the statement.

CM Yogi also asked employees to address revenue and police disputes with utmost openness and fairness.

“Injustice should not be done to anyone. Every victim should be treated sensitively.” He also gave positive assurance on employment-related issues to some of the visitors, said the state government statement.

Greater Noida: Wanted man arrested after shootout

Following a brief exchange of fire, police in Greater Noida apprehended a suspect wanted in a firearm robbery case. The offender, named as Keshav Kumar, was apprehended after a shootout on Sunday night, according to Uttar Pradesh police. According to police, the accused opened fire on its officers while on patrol.

The police squad was on patrol when they received information that the culprit was in the vicinity, according to Ashok Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Greater Noida). “During patrolling, police tried to stop the suspect but he opened fire on the police. Police retaliated and he suffered a bullet injury.”

“The name of the accused is Keshav Kumar. He had looted a gun in the year 2021 and was on the wanted list. There was a bounty of Rs 10,000 on him. He is undergoing treatment currently,” the ADCP said. Further investigation is underway.

UP: Chief Minister Yogi reviews crop damage caused by unseasonal rain

Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath reviewed the situation of unseasonal rains and hailstorms in various areas of the state in the past on Saturday and issued necessary guidelines. The CM convened a high-level meeting and directed officials to assess crop losses and compensate farmers as soon as possible.

He also directed the relief commissioner to inform farmers about the weather forecast and to use the early warning system properly. Anticipating negative effects on wheat quality due to inclement weather, the CM directed that procurement standards for such crops be relaxed.

“In case of loss of life, immediate assistance should be given to the victim’s family”, CM added. Observing the Revenue Department’s presentation on the state’s updated status, the Chief Minister stated that the government’s priority is to protect the interests of Annadata farmers.

He further added, “Unseasonal rains and hailstorms in many areas of the state in the month of March have adversely affected the farmers and agricultural produce. In the last 24 hours also, hailstorms has been reported in nine districts of the state. In this hour of crisis, the state government stands with the farmers.”

Meteorologists predict that this situation will last for the next two to three days. All necessary security arrangements should be made. There should be no delay in the Relief Commissioner’s office providing the compensation amount as per the rules after assessing the crop of any farmer whose crops have been damaged due to untimely rains and hailstorms.

UP cold storage roof collapses: 10 killed, 21 rescued in Sambhal

The death toll has risen to 10 while 21 were rescued from the rubble after the roof of a cold storage collapses in the Chandausi area of Sambhal in UP, officials informed. As per several reports, the teams of NDRF and SDRF are carrying out the search and rescue operations.

According to the statement given by Deputy Inspector General, Shalabh Mathur, approximately 3 people has severely injured in the incident. Meanwhile, DM Manish revealed that the officials are using sniffer dogs for the search and rescue operation in order to locate the trapped one’s.

In a statement, Manish revealed that, “”NDRF is searching for the trapped people with the help of sniffer dogs. We have increased our force for the morning. Other teams of NDRF and SDRF will also come by morning.”

He also revealed that a FIR has been registered against the owner. He stated that, “FIR registered against the owner and two others. We have detained four people for questioning. The main accused are absconding and are being searched. We will be able to tell the real reason for the collapse of this building only after the debris is removed.”
