Massive ‘UFO’ Over American Southwest: Real or Hoax?

May 2, 2025, 5:11 pm

A cryptic photograph depicting what looks like a gargantuan 1,000-foot-wide unidentified flying object (UFO) flying above the American Southwest has stormed social media. Widespread shared by UFO disclosure supporters, the photo has caused a fiery online debate as users argue if it is an actual extraterrestrial sighting or simply a mistaken visual anomaly.

The photo surfaced at a UAP Disclosure Fund panel in Washington, DC, called Science, National Security and Innovation. Former Pentagon official Luis ‘Lue’ Elizondo, who was involved in previous UFO research, unveiled the photo at the gathering, which included scientists and US legislators calling for more openness regarding UFO-related information.

The UAP Disclosure Fund also shared the image on X (formerly Twitter), tagging it: “Seen close to Four Corners at FL210, approximated 600–1000 ft in diameter, silver-colored, disc-like.” The photo is said to have been captured by a commercial airline pilot in 2021 and depicts what appears to be a metal disc with a clear shadow on the ground.

Mixed Reactions and Expert Skepticism

While the object’s shadow is being indicated as proof of its physical existence, Elizondo pointed out, “I can’t vouch for the authenticity of the photo because I didn’t take it.” He added that the photograph was taken by a civilian camera and stressed that the shadow could imply that it was something concrete.

The group also asserted that multiple speakers at the event testified that the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community possess hundreds of such classified photos and sensor reports on UFOs.

But the skepticism was quick in coming. Famous UFO skeptic Mick West ruled out the claim, stating the object might simply be circular crop irrigation fields that can be found throughout dry areas. He went on to say that the shadows of the surrounding hills do not match up with the supposed shadow of the UFO. Elizondo previously garnered criticism for peddling dubious UFO content, and several of his previous claims have been repudiated by the Pentagon.

Social Media Users Split

Internet users have expressed a broad spectrum of views. One user said, “It doesn’t look much like a UFO. But I lived in that area as a kid, and UFO sightings were fairly frequent. My brother and I spotted one in the late ’90s—a yellow-green disc that traveled at impossible velocities before blasting off into space.”

Another respondent commented, “Aren’t those just irrigation circles?” with another person adding humorously, “Alien activity?” Numerous others chimed in to second that the photograph is more likely to show farmland patterns rather than extraterrestrial activity.

‘Clearest UFO Sighting Yet’: Internet Buzzes as Video Captures Strange Lights in the Sky

April 16, 2025, 2:33 pm

A compilation video recording unexplained lights moving creepily across partly cloudy skies has gone viral on the internet. Seen in several parts of the US and Canada, the clips revealed glowing balls and colorful lights changing direction and lining up straight—fueling the mounting questions about where they came from.

In contrast to the typical grainy UFO footage, the high-definition nature of this footage impressed many, with many referring to it as the most clear recording of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) to date. While the time and place have not been confirmed, the footage has caused quite a buzz on the internet.

The video was posted on X (formerly Twitter) by the account ‘dom_lucre’, and has already been viewed over a million times. The caption stated, “This unusual light was captured by witnesses in the United States and Canada. Witnesses describe colourful UAPs and other unexplained events illuminating the sky.”

— Dom Lucre | Breaker of Narratives (@dom_lucre) April 15, 2025

Predictably, responses came pouring in. Some users rolled with the extraterrestrial script, while others met it with humor or disdain. “I wouldn’t have believed all this until I recorded one myself,” one user stated. Another dismissed the logic: “Here’s my problem with this. Why would alien spaceships have lights on them if they want to be here incognito? I’m sure they have the capability to see what’s around them without lights.”

The joke continued. “Extremely smart aliens from other worlds visiting earth flashing low-grade Chinese LED lights were not on my 2025 bingo card,” one commenter joked. Another cracked, “That’s all the sparkly crap Katy Perry left there yesterday, just now entering our atmosphere.

Some others complained of exhaustion at seeing this same material repeated so often, with one saying, “You know what? I honestly do not care if it’s aliens anymore.” Another chimed in, “Now the onus is on those posting these things to prove it’s not AI. All of this seems like AI to me.”

While the clip keeps circulating, its genuineness cannot be confirmed—but the influence of the clip on social media and people’s curiosity over alien existence cannot be disputed.

Mysterious UFO Sightings Across the World Creates Social Media Buzz | WATCH

December 5, 2024, 4:25 pm

Reports of mysterious UFOs in different US regions have flooded social media lately. In Morristown, New Jersey, a cell phone video captured what appeared to be drones hovering just above treetops last week. Within the past two weeks, residents and law enforcement reported many similar sightings. Mendham Township resident Ryan Dawson told CBS News, “My wife and I were driving. We saw one right up above us that was the size of our car. I mean, it’s crazy.”

These sightings were also made around the world, for instance, a UFO in Latvia, which was said to have been “perfectly still” till it slightly tilted and vanished. Other mysterious flying objects were also sighted in China and France.

Take a look at some of these UFO sightings:

Social Media Reactions

Different reactions were witnessed over social media to the sighting. One person who left a comment on X was, “These aliens be flying anything.” Another stated, “That is the most uncool UFO I have ever seen in my life. It looks as if it’s made of cardboard and latex house paint.” A third guy was more analytical; he theorized that this “This is simply from diatoms at the bottom of swamps releasing positive ions into the carbon layered floor of glacial moraines that cause a reaction in the atmosphere that cause photons to explode and release methane.”

Other reactions included, “An Alien putting its wheelie bin out, its collection day tomorrow.” One user questioned, “What’s weird to me is that if they’re real and this a draft why all the different shapes? Why are some just floating and some actually moving?”

Congress Talks Aliens, Netizens Spot UFO: Viral Capitol Hill Lights Stir Social Media | WATCH

November 29, 2024, 9:00 am

An image taken by US Air Force veteran and licensed tour guide Dennis Diggins has set off a firestorm of speculation online, capturing what many claim to be an apparent UFO sighting over Capitol Hill. The image, showing four glowing lights hovering above the Statue of Freedom atop the Capitol dome, has gone viral, fueling a mix of skepticism, humor, and intrigue across social media platforms.

Adding to the commotion, a video from another angle and posted on X (formerly Twitter) reveals lights appearing out of thin air. The clip sent the debate further into an uproar, with netizens panicking over this unexplained phenomenon while others dismissed it as an optical illusion.

Timing Coincides with Congressional Hearing on UFOs

Interestingly, the sighting occurred shortly after a congressional hearing titled “Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Exposing the Truth.” During the session, US Senate and House of Representatives members discussed alleged covert government programs that have reportedly hidden evidence of non-human intelligence for decades.

Testimonies presented by military personnel described unidentified objects with flight and structural characteristics beyond current technological capabilities. Among the whistleblowers were a former counterintelligence officer, a retired US Navy rear admiral, and a former NASA associate administrator, all advocating for greater transparency on UFO-related matters.

Experts Debunk the UFO Theory

While social media buzzed with theories, experts quickly attempted to calm the storm. Renowned researcher and ufologist John Greenewald Jr dismissed the claims, attributing the lights to lens flares. “The lights at the US Capitol building have caused similar UFO claims for decades,” Greenewald said on X, explaining that such visuals are common camera artifacts.

His assessment echoes previous instances where such sightings were linked to light reflections rather than extraterrestrial phenomena.

Pentagon’s Stance on UFO Claims

Amid rising public interest in UFOs, the Pentagon issued a report earlier this year dismissing any evidence of extraterrestrial technology. The report stated that most sightings could be attributed to ordinary objects or misidentified phenomena, emphasizing that there was no proof of alien involvement.

While Diggins’ photo continues to spark debate, the official narrative suggests a far more terrestrial explanation for the Capitol Hill lights. Nonetheless, the incident adds to the growing fascination with unidentified aerial phenomena and the push for answers in an era of increased transparency.

‘Aliens Spotted’: Mysterious UFO Spotted In Indiana, Are We Being Watched? | VIDEO

October 27, 2024, 1:42 pm

For centuries, people have pondered the question of whether humanity is the only intelligent life in the universe. Recently, this timeless inquiry was rekindled when strange lights were spotted in the night sky over Indiana, sparking a wave of speculation about UFOs and alien existence. Footage of the bizarre phenomenon has been shared extensively on social media, captivating the public’s interest and igniting lively discussions.

Unexplained Orbs of Light Stun Onlookers

In the videos, viewers can see several glowing orbs illuminating the night sky, some arranged in a curved line, resembling the rim of a disc. The lights didn’t flash on all at once; instead, they turned on sequentially, enhancing the mystery. Crowds gathered, watching in awe as they tried to decipher the spectacle before them. “I’ve seen many radar anomalies, but never a giant rectangle with a defined vapor shock wave and trail,” one witness told Daily Mail, speculating that the formation could be approximately 20 miles long.

Online Buzz and Alien Theories Abound

The footage sparked a wave of reactions online, with many commenters suggesting that aliens might be behind the strange display. One social media user warned, “Humanity best be thinking about how to deal with aliens. No more denying they are here.”

Others, however, offered more grounded explanations, suggesting that the lights could be flares deployed by the US Air Force. Indiana, notably, has an Air Force base nearby, which could potentially account for the unusual lights. Despite widespread curiosity, the US Air Force has yet to issue an official comment on the sightings, leaving the phenomenon shrouded in mystery.

Top US Official Confirms Department of Energy Collaborates with Special Forces on UFO Investigations

June 16, 2024, 6:13 pm

The recent House hearing with US Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm focused on several critical topics, which included energy policies, grid reliability, and the government’s approach to unidentified flying object (UFOs) and Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs). Below were some of the questions raised during the house hearing.

Energy Policies and Net Zero Goals:

Granholm defended the Biden administration’s target of achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050. Representative Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) questioned her about the benefits and future role of fossil fuels. Granholm acknowledged that while fossil fuels have historically been economically beneficial, transitioning to cleaner energy sources is essential to fight climate change.

Grid Reliability and Power Outages:

Concerns were raised about the reliability of the energy grid during the shift to renewable energy. Representatives like Scott Perry (R-Pa.) asked if the Department of Energy would use emergency measures to prevent power outages due to plant shutdown. Granholm reassured that maintaining power supply is a priority and the department would use emergency powers if it is necessary.

Dependence on China for Critical Minerals:

The hearing also discussed the US’s reliance on China for essential minerals used in renewable energy technologies. Representative Gary Palmer (R-Ala.) emphasized the need for domestic mining so that this dependency can be reduced. Granholm agreed on the importance of securing supply chains and increasing domestic and cooperative production.

Electric Vehicles and Natural Gas Exports:

Granholm provided updates on efforts to promote electric vehicles (EVs) and enhance natural gas exports. She defended the Department of Energy’s support for the EV market and confirmed that natural gas remains part of the energy strategy.

UFO and UAP Testimony:

The hearing briefly covered UAPs and reflected increased governmental interest in unexplained aerial phenomena. This aligns with broader efforts to improve transparency and investigation into UAPs.

The hearing addressed the balance between transitioning to renewable energy and maintaining grid reliability while reducing dependence on foreign minerals, and understanding UAPs. These discussions highlight the complex landscape of current US energy and security policies.

VIRAL : UFO-Like Red Cloud Stuns Cape Town

June 3, 2024, 8:57 am

Such incidents hint at the possibility that stories about aliens and otherworldly beings might be true. Although scientific discoveries and innovations are widely recognized, there remain certain mysteries on our planet that science has yet to explain.

The depths of the Pacific Ocean and Amazon Rainforest are yet to be explored. Also, there have been instances where people have reported to have spotted UFOs flying in the sky. No logical explanation for such occurrences has been found, reinforcing that mystery prevails on Earth. Similarly, a puzzling phenomenon of a floating mass of red-coloured clouds hovering over the sky in Cape Town has baffled social media users. A video of the strange event has now gone viral.

The mysterious clip was dropped on X (formerly known as Twitter) garnering mass attention. “Spotted over the skies of Cape Town, South Africa. What do you think?” read the note accompanying the post. The video opened with the peculiar visuals of a thick smoke of clouds levitating over a building in Cape Town. Unlike the fluffy white clouds, this was dusty red, resembling a reverse tornado. A bulge-like oval feature was tapered downwards while the long, tail-like extension blended into the blue sky. With the blaring sun illuminating the cityscape through the billowing clouds, it evoked an otherworldly feeling.

The internet population did not waste any second to react to the video. “Earth about to get a taste of a tea bag,” commented one user jokingly. “Looks like a giant socket wrench,” noted another sarcastically. “Either a cloud formation caused by a geological feature like a mountain or it is aliens,” wrote a third individual. Shedding some light on the incident, a person explained, “It’s a Lenticular Cloud. They form when the air is stable and winds blow across hills and mountains from the same or similar direction at different heights. They look like an alien spaceship in disguise.”

Canadian airspace shoots down an ‘Unidentified object’: Justin Trudeau

February 12, 2023, 4:39 pm

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Saturday that an “unidentified object” had been shot down by a US fighter jet over Canadian airspace on his orders.

In a tweet, the Canadian PM said, “I ordered the takedown of an unidentified object that violated Canadian airspace.” @NORADCommand shot down the object over the Yukon. Canadian and U.S. aircraft were scrambled, and a U.S. F-22 successfully fired at the object.

The Canadian defence minister, Anita Anand, said that “the object was cylindrical and smaller than the suspected Chinese balloon shot down last weekend.” Later on Saturday, the White House confirmed that Trudeau and US President Joe Biden authorised the shoot-down, and the Pentagon said the object was first spotted over Alaska on Friday evening. Trudeau said that he spoke with Biden on Saturday and that Canadian forces will lead the object recovery operation. The object shot down Saturday marks the third time in one week that US aircraft have shot down an object in North American airspace. Saturday’s incident follows the downing of another unidentified object on Friday over Alaska and the shoot-down of a suspected Chinese surveillance balloon on February 4 by a US F-22 fighter jet. The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) said earlier that it was monitoring “a high altitude airborne object” over northern Canada and that military aircraft were operating in the area from Alaska and Canada, according to a news release from the agency. I spoke with President Biden this afternoon. The Canadian Forces will now recover and analyse the wreckage of the object. “Thank you to NORAD for keeping watch over North America,” tweeted Trudeau.

Five strange conventions around the world

November 30, 2022, 6:17 pm

In the world, there are many strange conventions you might have never heard. Many unheard events and festivals take place around the country as conventions are a big business and for many, an even bigger social event. Here is the list of what just might be the world’s strangest conventions. How many have you heard of?

World Toilet Summit & Expo

World Toilet Summit & Expo have you heard of this shittiest convention ever? You can laugh as much as you want to but their objectives are quite altruistic. It was first started in 2001 in Singapore by the World Toilet Organization to bring sanitation and clean water to the 2.5 billion people around the world who still need it. After 2001 it traveled to various cities like Beijing, Belfast, India, Moscow, Seoul, Shanghai, Taiwan, and Macau.

Twins Days Festival

Twins Days Festival started in 1976 in Twinsburg, Ohio and every year it is held on the first weekend of August. Meanwhile, the festival is attended by 3000 people every year. The festival is attended by a range of people from newborns to octogenarians and most of them twins. Meanwhile, most of them come along with their families.

International UFO Congress Convention

Sounds interesting right? International UFO Congress Convention is a week-long event which is usually held in Laughlin, Nevada, since 1991. At the convention, there are over 30 speakers. People look forward to going to the convention which helps them to build their networking with researchers while reconnecting with friends. In the convention UFO sightings, UFO crashes, crop circles, paranormal experiences, and government conspiracy topics are being covered.

ScareFest Horror and Paranormal Convention

In November the Scare Fest and Paranormal Convention are organized in the United States of America for three days. The convention is hosted by Ghost Chasers International, Inc. at the Lexington Center in Lexington, Kentucky. The ScareFest Horror and Paranormal Convention were created by Jeff Waldridge, Patti, and Chuck Starr.

Sexpo

The Sexpo convention sounds a little weird but this is organized for adult entertainment and lifestyles. Sexpo is held in Australia and sells products related to sex and sexuality while educating about safe practices. Day by Day the festival has broadened and many incorporate companies of different fields like aviation, wine tasting, marine sports, spa pools, hair and make-up artists, physical fitness equipment, and many others participate in the event.
