</excerpt>

Tesla CEO Elon Musk backtracked on his cutting social media insults against US President Donald Trump. Following a week of celebrity spats that lowered Tesla shares by $100 billion in market value, Musk apologized publicly. Some of his tweets “went too far,” he said, and he confirmed that he wishes he had not gotten involved in the online quarrel.

This is a change in tone after Musk previously called Trump’s impeachment and concurred with reports associating the president with Jeffrey Epstein. Their rivalry had spilled over to platforms such as Truth Social and X, attracting enormous public scrutiny.

Musk Publicly Apologizes for Trump Posts

On X, Elon Musk posted, “I regret some of my posts about President Donald Trump last week. They went too far.”

I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week. They went too far.

— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) June 11, 2025

This follows a series of Musk’s deleted tweets. Among them was one where he accused Trump of being linked to Jeffrey Epstein. Musk quietly deleted that incendiary allegation two days after publishing it.

Earlier, Musk also supported a tweet proposing Trump be impeached and replaced with US Vice President JD Vance. He simply typed, “Yes,” when commentator Ian Miles Cheong tossed the proposal out.

Feud Began Over Spending Bill

Tempers flared when Musk bashed Trump’s spending and tax-cut bill. Elon Musk claimed the bill would exacerbate the national debt, which currently totals $36.2 trillion.

Trump remained quiet at first. But when Musk intensified his efforts to torpedo the bill, the president retaliated. He vowed to withdraw all federal subsidies and contracts for companies led by Musk, including Tesla and SpaceX.

The backlash spilled over to social media. Investors responded swiftly, and Tesla shares suffered a significant setback. Throughout the feud, the electric automaker lost about $100 billion in market value. Musk’s backtrack seems to be damage control—both political and financial.

Musk Eyes New Political Path

Even amidst regret, Musk signaled upcoming political aspirations. He posted a poll on X, querying followers whether America requires a new political party “that actually represents the 80% in the middle.”

Though the virtual battle may have been suspended, Musk’s intrigue about redefining US politics obviously hasn’t disappeared.

</excerpt>

Conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair has filed a paternity and custody lawsuit against billionaire Elon Musk, seeking to have him legally recognized as the father of her 5-month-old son and to gain sole custody of the child, according to court documents submitted to Manhattan Supreme Court, People reported exclusively.

St. Clair, 26, initiated the legal action a week after publicly claiming that she had given birth to Musk’s 13th child.

As cited in the paternity petition obtained by People, St. Clair alleges that Musk is the father of her son, born in September 2024. She further states that Musk was not present at the birth and “has met him only three times and has had no involvement in his care and upbringing.”

Text messages between Musk and Clair

According to People, St. Clair claims that Musk “acknowledged parentage of the child in various written correspondences,” including a text message conversation after baby R.S.C.’s birth. A screenshot of the alleged exchange was included in her petition.

Her filing also contains additional text messages in which Musk allegedly wrote, “If I make a mistake on security, [R.S.C.] will never know his father.”

St. Clair’s attorney, Karen B. Rosenthal, told People that Musk’s representatives had not responded to efforts to resolve the matter privately, which led to the lawsuit. Meanwhile, her spokesperson, Brian Glickich, stated, “She has made every effort to collaborate with Mr. Musk before taking this step.”

Musk has not publicly addressed St. Clair’s allegations. According to People, he has 13 children with four women, including the child St. Clair claims is his.

He shares twins Vivian and Griffin and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian with his first wife, Justine Wilson. With musician Grimes, he has three children—X, Exa Dark Siderael, and Techno Mechanicus. Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis is the mother of his twins, Strider and Azure.

Musk’s legal team has not responded to requests for comment.

</excerpt>

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has sold over $3 billion worth of Amazon shares, raising his total stock sales for 2024 to $13 billion. According to recent regulatory filings, Bezos offloaded more than 16 million shares, capitalizing on Amazon’s strong stock performance, with shares recently trading close to $200—a level last seen in July 2024.

Amazon’s stock has surged by over 40%

Amazon’s stock has surged by over 40% in the past year, largely due to stronger-than-expected third-quarter earnings, which boosted share prices by 7% last week. This rally has also added significantly to Bezos’s personal wealth, with his net worth increasing by $42.8 billion in the past year. As of November 3, 2024, Bezos ranks second on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, holding a net worth of $220 billion. Tesla CEO Elon Musk remains the world’s wealthiest individual, with a net worth of $262 billion, while Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg is close behind in third place with $201 billion.

Despite the recent sales, Bezos still holds a substantial interest in Amazon, retaining about 10.8% of the company’s shares as of February 2024. Although he stepped down as Amazon’s CEO in 2021, Bezos continues to serve as chairman of the board. Over the years, he has sold Amazon shares to fund his other ventures, most notably his space exploration company, Blue Origin, which focuses on developing reusable rocket technology. Bezos has also invested in philanthropic initiatives, such as the Bezos Day One Fund, a $2 billion project aimed at aiding homeless families and expanding access to early childhood education.

Bezos announced his relocation

In a significant personal move, Bezos announced his relocation from Seattle—Amazon’s long-standing headquarters—to Miami in November 2023. The move has fueled speculation about potential tax advantages, as Washington state imposes a 7% capital gains tax on large investments, whereas Florida has no state capital gains tax. However, Bezos clarified that his decision was driven by family considerations and the desire to be closer to Blue Origin’s Florida operations. “I want to be closer to my parents and Blue Origin’s headquarters,” Bezos shared in an Instagram post, without addressing any tax-related reasons.

This shift to Miami marks a new chapter for Bezos, who has previously emphasized his commitment to family and his space ambitions.

The two have had a strained relationship, with Wilson distancing herself from her father after coming out as transgender.
</excerpt>

Vivian Wilson, the daughter of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, has publicly criticized her father again, calling him a “heinous incel” in a TikTok video. This follows Musk’s controversial remark about pop star Taylor Swift, which many found inappropriate and “creepy.”

Musk’s Controversial Taylor Swift Remark

Musk posted a peculiar comment on social media, saying, “Fine Taylor… you win… I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life.” The post, seen by many as strange and inappropriate, came after Swift endorsed Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz for the 2024 presidential race.

Vivian Speaks Out Against Musk

Vivian, who came out as transgender in 2022, took to Instagram’s Threads to express her frustration. She praised Swift’s endorsement and then shifted her focus to her father’s comment, calling it “heinous incel nonsense.” Vivian, now 20, expressed her strong disapproval of Musk’s behavior, urging her audience not to tolerate such “sexist” remarks.

In another post, she emphasized how wrong she felt Musk’s words were, writing, “Don’t let people talk to you like that. It’s disgusting and belittling.”

A Strained Relationship

Vivian has distanced herself from Musk over the years, even filing to legally change her name and gender. She stated she no longer wished to be associated with her father. In a recent interview, Musk mentioned his difficult relationship with his daughter, attributing the strain to what he called the “woke-mind virus.”

Vivian, however, continues to assert her independence, saying, “I am my own person with my own name, after all.” Despite the strained ties, she felt compelled to speak out against Musk’s comments, stating, “Even if it’s self-evident, it had to be said.”

</excerpt>

Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently revealed on X (formerly known as Twitter) that the production schedule for the company’s humanoid robot, Optimus, has been updated. Originally planned for a rollout by the end of 2024, Optimus will now enter “low production” for internal use at Tesla in 2025.

“Tesla will have genuinely useful humanoid robots in low production for Tesla internal use next year and, hopefully, high production for other companies in 2026,” he wrote. This update follows Musk’s April statement that Optimus would be performing factory tasks by the end of 2024 and might be available for sale by 2025.

Musk has a history of revising ambitious deadlines; in 2019, he predicted that Tesla’s “robotaxi” network would be operational by 2020. Just last week, he suggested further delays for the robotaxi, requesting a “design change” for the vehicle.

Despite these setbacks, Tesla has made progress with Optimus. The first generation, Bumblebee, was unveiled in September 2022, and this year a video showcased the second generation bipedal robot folding a T-shirt. This shift towards artificial intelligence, autonomous driving software, and robotics highlights Tesla’s strategy as demand for electric vehicles, currently making up over 80% of their revenue, shows signs of slowing.

Molly shared a video highlighting “an important bug” that she noticed while drawing the screen.

Meanwhile, Mr. Musk has announced that he is currently developing the fourth master plan for the EV company. On June 18, the billionaire shared on X that he is actively working on Tesla Master Plan Part Four, expressing confidence that “it will be epic.”

Significantly, these master plans have acted as a roadmap for the company’s objectives and have been crucial in steering its direction. Tesla outlines its future strategy through these plans. The first plan was released on August 2, 2006, the second in July 2016, and the most recent one was unveiled in March last year. ”Working on the Tesla Master Plan 4. Shivon Zilis, who currently serves as Neuralink’s Director, had the child earlier this year. Notably, the birth came after Musk revealed in 2022 that he and Zilis had twins, which were reportedly conceived through in vitro fertilization (IVF).

Musk is the world’s second-richest man with a net worth of around $200 billion. Alongside his role at Neuralink, he also leads companies such as Tesla, SpaceX, and Twitter. The 52-year-old has fathered 12 children, six of them in the past five years. His offspring include three with Zilis and another three with Canadian pop star Grimes, according to Bloomberg.

Interestingly, Musk earlier joked that he’s “doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis,” a problem he views as “the biggest danger civilization faces.” He’s long promoted the debunked theory that the world population is declining, Bloomberg noted. On Thursday, he shared a chart on X, claiming that Europe is suffering from a “fertility crisis.”

</excerpt>

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has landed in another controversy, as he has been named in a shareholder lawsuit for allegedly engaging in $7.5 billion worth of insider trading at the electric car company. The lawsuit, filed by Tesla investor Michael Perry in Delaware Chancery Court, accuses Musk of having inside knowledge about a potential miss in Tesla’s production and delivery targets when he sold more than $7.5 billion in stock in 2022.

Allegations of Insider Trading

Perry claims that Musk had nonpublic information indicating that Tesla would fail to meet its fourth-quarter targets in 2022 and sold his shares based on this insider knowledge. The lawsuit alleges that Musk “exploited his position at Tesla” and breached his fiduciary duties to the company and its shareholders. According to the suit, Musk sold the company shares to fund his acquisition of the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

Profiting from Inside Information

The lawsuit further asserts that “Musk profited from his misconduct and his exploitation of material and adverse inside information.” Perry has requested the judge to order Musk to return the profits from the alleged improper trading back to the company. Additionally, Perry has accused Tesla’s directors of failing to ensure that Musk complied with legal obligations related to stock sales and statements about Tesla’s financial performance.

Musk’s Public Statements vs. Private Knowledge

Earlier in 2022, Elon Musk publicly praised Tesla’s quarterly performance, stating that the company enjoyed “excellent demand” and expected “to sell every car we make as far into the future as we can see.” However, the lawsuit contends that by November 2022, Musk was aware that Tesla would not meet its fourth-quarter targets. Before this information was officially disclosed, Musk sold shares worth $7.53 billion.

Ongoing Legal and Regulatory Scrutiny

This lawsuit is the latest in a series of disputes involving Musk’s stock purchases, sales, and public remarks. It comes in the same week that the 52-year-old billionaire agreed to sit for a third round of questioning by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in its investigation into his acquisition of Twitter and whether he properly disclosed his initial stake in the company.

The outcome of this lawsuit could have significant implications for Elon Musk and Tesla, as it raises serious questions about the CEO’s compliance with securities laws and the fiduciary duties owed to shareholders.

So, he’s fired two top executives and is planning to let go of even more people.

The report talks about an email from Musk to the higher-ups in the company. It mentions that Daniel Ho, in charge of new vehicle programs, and Rebecca Tinucci, who led the Supercharger division, will be leaving on Tuesday.

It seems Musk wants to get rid of all the teams under Tinucci and Ho, affecting about 500 workers in the Supercharger team. The report didn’t give specifics about how many people were under Ho. Also, Rohan Patel, who used to lead Tesla’s public policy team, won’t be in that role anymore.

As of the end of 2023, Tesla had around 140,473 employees worldwide. In Musk’s email, he said they need to be really strict about cutting costs and jobs. He mentioned that some of the top managers are taking it seriously, but most aren’t yet. Tesla didn’t respond immediately when Reuters asked for a comment.

Looking at their LinkedIn profiles, Ho started working at Tesla in 2013 and worked on different car models before taking charge of all new car projects. Tinucci switched to a senior product manager role at Tesla in 2018. Apart from the plan to let go of about 10% of their workforce, two other top executives, Patel and battery development chief Drew Baglino, also said they’re leaving earlier this month.

A report released this week says Tesla’s sales dropped for the first time since 2020 because of more competition and fewer people buying their cars. Musk went to China last Sunday to launch a cool new driving system for Tesla cars, especially because China is where lots of electric car companies compete on prices. He went there even though he postponed his trip to India, where Tesla wants to set up offices, because he said he had too many things to do for Tesla.

</excerpt>

Tesla CEO Elon Musk embarked on a surprise visit to China on Sunday, as reported by news agency Reuters, citing sources familiar with the matter. China is the second-largest market for the electric vehicle giant.

Musk’s trip to China follows the postponement of his visit to India last week due to ‘Tesla obligations.’ The original plan was for him to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and announce Tesla’s entry into the Indian market.

During his visit to China, Musk aims to meet with senior Chinese officials in Beijing to discuss the rollout of Full-Self Driving (FSD) software in China. He also seeks approval to transfer data collected in China abroad to train algorithms for Tesla’s autonomous driving technologies, according to Reuters.

Responding to a query on the social media platform X, Musk mentioned that Tesla may introduce FSD to customers in China “very soon.” However, Musk’s visit to China was not widely publicized.

Since 2021, Tesla has stored all data collected by its Chinese fleet in Shanghai, complying with Chinese regulations. The company has not transferred any data back to the United States.

Despite customers’ requests, Tesla has not yet made FSD available in China. FSD is the most autonomous version of its Autopilot software, introduced four years ago.

This decision, if implemented across the company, would result in the dismissal of over 14,000 employees.

In an internal email obtained by electrick.com, CEO Musk emphasized the necessity for cost reduction and increased productivity to facilitate the company’s next phase of growth. He stated, “As we prepare the company for our next phase of growth, it is extremely important to look at every aspect of the company for cost reductions and increasing productivity.” Musk acknowledged the difficulty of the decision, stating, “There is nothing I hate more, but it must be done.”

The announcement follows Tesla’s recent report of a decline in auto deliveries, despite implementing price cuts on its electric vehicles (EVs) to stimulate demand.

Additionally, Musk is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to India this month, where he is expected to announce plans for a new Tesla factory in the country. Musk expressed anticipation for the meeting, stating, “Looking forward to meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in India!” on his X profile.

While the meeting date is set to visit India on April 21 and 22, PM Modi has expressed openness to global investments in India. Musk had previously indicated Tesla’s interest in providing electric vehicles in India, aligning with the country’s new electric vehicle policy announced last month. This policy aims to reduce taxes on EV imports by nearly 85% and mandates EV manufacturers to invest a minimum of ₹ 4,150 crore while allowing them three years to establish manufacturing facilities in India.

</excerpt>

Elon Musk’s satellite venture, Starlink, has received preliminary approval from the Telecom ministry after a wait of over three and a half years. However, it still awaits security clearance from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) ahead of Musk’s upcoming visit to India later this month.

Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, is scheduled to visit India on April 21 and 22 for discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. His visit is anticipated to involve significant announcements, including the debut of Starlink and potential investments ranging from $2 billion to $3 billion in India.

According to sources, the commercial aspects of Starlink’s application, such as foreign investment and net worth, have been thoroughly examined and found to align with official guidelines, leading to its approval. Additionally, technical requirements have been reviewed in accordance with licensing conditions, and the company has provided a declaration regarding its ownership.

Government concerns primarily revolved around Starlink‘s ownership, particularly ensuring the absence of stakeholders from countries sharing a land border with India. This issue has been addressed following Starlink’s submission of a declaration regarding its ownership structure.

Presently, the file awaits final review by Communications Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, pending clearance from the home ministry on certain security matters. Upon approval by Vaishnaw, Starlink will be granted a Global Mobile Personal Communication by Satellite (GMPCS) services license, a prerequisite for offering satellite communication services in India. Other companies, such as OneWeb (backed by Bharti Airtel’s Sunil Mittal) and Jio (in partnership with Luxembourg-based SES) have already obtained GMPCS licenses, although spectrum allocation and pricing details are yet to be finalized by the regulator Trai.

Starlink, SpaceX’s satellite internet service, offers high-speed internet connectivity globally. With a GMPCS license and trial spectrum in hand, Starlink could conduct a pilot of its services in the retail consumer space. However, permission from the Ministry of Home Affairs, law enforcement, and security agencies is also required due to security concerns raised by the Modi government.

Previously, Starlink had provided clarification on its shareholding pattern to the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), citing US regulations as the reason for its inability to disclose all ownership details.

</excerpt>

Tesla CEO Elon Musk is scheduled to visit India later this month to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to sources from Reuters.

Musk’s visit is expected to align with a potential announcement concerning Tesla’s investment strategies and the inauguration of a new factory in the country. The meeting between Musk and Prime Minister Modi is tentatively set for April 22 in New Delhi.

Moreover, he is anticipated to unveil specifics regarding Tesla’s initiatives in India during his trip. However, the exact itinerary for Musk’s visit to India remains unconfirmed. Nonetheless, there have been earlier reports indicating that Tesla representatives were scouting potential locations in India for a manufacturing facility, expected to require an investment of around USD 2 billion.

Tesla’s keenness to broaden its footprint in the Indian market has heightened, as the company actively seeks a fitting site to establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant.

As per sources, both the state governments of Maharashtra and Gujarat have purportedly extended appealing land proposals to Tesla for this objective, indicating notable advancements in India’s electric mobility sector.

The proposed manufacturing facility, with estimated investments ranging between USD 2 billion to USD 3 billion, aims to address both domestic and international demand for Tesla’s electric vehicles. This initiative is in line with India’s recent EV policy, which aims to encourage sustainable transportation and diminish carbon emissions.

Within the government’s EV initiative, designed to position India as a premier manufacturing hub for EVs featuring advanced technology, numerous key objectives have been delineated.

These objectives encompass enticing investments from global EV manufacturers, fostering the adoption of cutting-edge EV technology among Indian consumers, and fortifying the nation’s Make in India campaign.

Furthermore, Tesla’s introduction to the Indian market carries significant potential for the country’s economy and environment.

The establishment of a manufacturing plant and heightened procurement of auto parts from India are anticipated to generate employment opportunities, stimulate economic expansion, and enhance the domestic manufacturing ecosystem.

Previously, Musk has openly expressed his enthusiasm for self-driving vehicles, emphasizing their significance as one of Tesla’s key products.

According to CNN, Elon Musk previously stated that Tesla would produce a car devoid of human controls. Additionally, he mentioned that Tesla vehicles equipped with full self-driving capabilities would improve over time through software updates. Musk also envisioned these cars eventually operating as fully autonomous taxis, potentially generating income for their owners by providing taxi services independently.

Tesla has already surpassed several of Musk’s forecasts regarding the feasibility of actual self-driving capabilities. Back in April 2019, Tesla anticipated the launch of ‘robotaxi’ by 2020. Their projection included an expectation that the autonomous vehicles would remain operational for 11 years and cover 1 million miles, resulting in potential annual profits of $30,000 for both the company and the car operators.

Elon Musk has acknowledged that his predictions can occasionally veer off course. During an event in April 2019, he conceded, “The only criticism, and it’s a fair one, sometimes I’m not on time. But I get it done and the Tesla team gets it done,” as reported by CNN.

At present, individuals have the option to purchase full self-driving capability with a new Tesla Model 3 for an extra $12,000, in addition to the car’s approximate $40,000 base price. Alternatively, the full self-driving capability can be obtained through a subscription model for up to $199 per month, depending on the car’s initial configuration.

In small gray type, Tesla’s on-line description reads, “The currently enabled features require active driver supervision and do not make the vehicle autonomous,” implying that it is not, in fact, capable of fully self-driving today.

During the third-quarter earnings call in 2023, Musk expressed his belief that the system would eventually render Tesla cars immensely valuable, he noted, “You can think of every car we sell or produce that has full autonomy capability as something that in the future may be worth five times what it is today.”

According to CNN, experts who have tested the system have indicated that it is currently far from achieving the ability to drive autonomously without human intervention. Kelly Funkhouser, the associate director of vehicle technology for Consumer Reports, conducted recent tests on the system. She expressed greater concern about the safety of the ordinary Tesla Autopilot, designed to offer more restricted driving assistance, especially on highways, than she did about the new system.

She said, “You’re not likely to tune out and become complacent or over-reliant on it.”

Funkhouser added, “In fact, I would say you’re potentially more alert.” CNN reported.

Several companies, such as Google’s parent company Alphabet’s subsidiary and GM’s subsidiary Cruise, are actively developing autonomous ride-sharing services. However, Cruise paused its testing operations following an incident where one of its self-driving cars struck and dragged a pedestrian. An internal investigation revealed that Cruise representatives hadn’t fully disclosed the incident to regulators. Consequently, the US Department of Justice launched an investigation into the matter. Meanwhile, Waymo recently recalled its vehicles after two separate incidents where its cars collided with the same tow truck within minutes of each other.

According to a report from the Financial Times on April 3, Tesla Motors is reportedly sending a team to scout locations in India this month for a potential electric car plant, estimated to cost between USD 2-3 billion. This decision follows India’s recent reduction in tariffs on higher-priced imported electric vehicles last month, provided that companies commit to manufacturing them within the country within three years.

</excerpt>

Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence startup, xAI Grok, is set to unveil its services to a limited user group, as announced by the tech magnate on social media. The selective release of the AI platform starts today, with Musk touting the initial AI model as one of the most advanced available. Once the system transitions out of the early beta phase, access will extend to all subscribers of the X Premium+ service, which, according to Techcrunch, costs $16 monthly for an ad-free experience on the platform.

In order to set the Grok system apart from other AI models, Musk emphasized its distinct advantages, highlighting its real-time data access through the X platform. He also acknowledged the system’s unexpected incorporation of sarcasm in its responses, expressing surprise at its development direction.

The startup, headed by Musk and a team of experts from major tech companies and research institutions, is advised by Dan Hendrycks from the Center for AI Safety. Musk’s AI ambitions have grown since the billionaire’s split with ChatGPT developer OpenAI co-founders Sam Altman and Ilya Sutskever several years ago, the Techcrunch report claimed.

The world’s wealthiest man accused Mr. Zuckerberg of ignoring the challenge. In a flurry of back-and-forth tweets on their platforms in June, the internet titans first stoked speculation of an MMA-style cage combat. The CEO of Tesla Musk later stated that he was joking about the whole thing.

But now, the X owner is back with a new post on the cage fight issue. Earlier a social media user posted on X, formerly known as Twitter that “If you search for “Mark Zuckerberg” nowadays you will find more UFC content than his actual products.”

To which Musk wrote in the comment section as “Why won’t he fight me!? Zuck said “name the place”, so I named his house, but they said he was away on travel. Perhaps we can fight when we returns?”

</excerpt>

Tesla CEO Elon Musk is always hard to understand. He recently stated that his cage fight proposal with Meta co-founder Mark Zuckerberg is most likely going to take place in Italy.

In a chain of posts on his social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, Musk said he has been in talks with the Italian prime minister and minister of culture about organizing and hosting the event.

He tweeted, “The fight will be managed by my and Zuck’s foundations (not UFC)…Livestream will be on this platform and Meta. Everything in the camera frame will be ancient Rome, so nothing modern at all. I spoke to the PM of Italy and Minister of Culture. They have agreed on an epic location. Everything done will pay respect to the past and present of Italy. And all proceeds go to veterans”.

However, Italy’s minister of culture, Gennaro Sangiuliano, contrary to Musk’s latest claim that the cage match will be set in “ancient Rome,” said such an event will not be held in Rome.

In a statement, Sangiuliano said, “I had a long and friendly conversation with Elon Musk…We talked about the common passion for the history of ancient Rome. We are thinking about how to organize a great charity and historical evocation event, respecting and fully protecting the places. It will not be held in Rome.”

Earlier, Sangiuliano had said a Musk-Zuck fight would not be held at the Colosseum of Rome because of ongoing maintenance work.

The tech billionaires agreed to a “cage match” face-off in late June, this year. It all began when Elon Musk tweeted that he would be “up for a cage match” with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who has trained in jiujitsu.

The tweet exchanges have gone viral on social media, where users debating who would win the combat, while some of the users have posted memes including joking about posters advertising the fight.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Mark Zuckerberg’s newly launched social media platform “Threads” is competing against Musk’s “X”.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Musk’s net worth was approximately USD 192 billion as of Thursday, while Arnault’s net worth was approximately USD 187 billion. According to index data, Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates trail Musk and Arnault with USD 144 billion and USD 125 billion, respectively.

The index ranks the world’s wealthiest people on a daily basis. The calculations are explained in detail on each billionaire’s profile page in the net worth analysis. The figures are updated at the end of each New York trading day.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has reclaimed the top spot on the list of the world’s wealthiest people, after shares of Arnault’s firm fell more than 2% in the most recent trade.

The recent surge in Tesla stock prices has also contributed to Musk’s wealth increase. Data show that they have risen by about 89% so far in 2023.

Musk and Arnault have been neck and neck on Forbes’ list of the world’s wealthiest people. Bernard Arnault reportedly overtook Tesla CEO Elon Musk in December 2022 after being in second place for more than two months. Musk reclaimed his position in late February.
