Women farmers in Chhattisgarh are increasingly adopting drone technology to improve farm productivity. As a result, the state now has 4.95 lakh rural women earning Rs 1 lakh annually under the Lakhpati Didi scheme. Notably, this includes 76,084 women from marginalized groups, such as the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG).

Lakhpati Didi Scheme Shows Progress

In its first year, the Lakhpati Didi scheme has made significant strides. Specifically, the Namo Drone Didi program has been pivotal. Since its launch in December 2023, 15 women have earned Rs 1 lakh each. These women, trained in drone operations, are spraying fertilizers and pesticides, offering their drone services to other farmers and earning an additional Rs 300-500 per acre.

Drones Boost Farm Profits

Moreover, the use of drones has proven to enhance agricultural productivity. Farmers in Chhattisgarh have experienced a 15% increase in profits, thanks to the time-saving and cost-reducing benefits of drone technology. According to Narayan Prasad Sahu, a local farmer, “We saw a 15% rise in profits and higher crop yields.” Additionally, drones provide uniform fertilizer coverage, which helps prevent diseases and promotes healthier crops.

Increased Crop Yields with Drone Technology

Farmers are also witnessing an improvement in their crop yields. For instance, V Sandeep Naidu shared his success: “I harvested 30 quintals of paddy per acre, compared to 24 before.” The use of drones has been particularly effective for crops like sugarcane, millet, and sorghum, which are difficult to treat with traditional methods due to their dense growth.

Women Empowerment Through Drone Technology

Furthermore, women are earning extra income by operating drones. For example, Chandrakali Verma from Nagpura village earned Rs 1 lakh after covering drone operation costs. Similarly, Jagriti Sahu from Durg earned Rs 1 lakh after providing drone services over 500 acres of land. This reflects the growing demand for drone services in the region.

Government Support for Women Farmers

The government is actively supporting women farmers through various initiatives. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai commended these efforts, saying, “Drone operations, natural farming, and livestock management help women farmers succeed.” He emphasized that the Lakhpati Didi scheme demonstrates how technology and community support can drive economic change in rural areas.

Focus on Marginalized Communities

The Lakhpati Didi scheme has also made an impact on marginalized women. It includes 368 women from PVTGs, 1,516 disabled women, and 39,087 women who are sole breadwinners for their families. Initially, many from PVTG communities were hesitant to join, but they eventually embraced the program after seeing the tangible benefits.

Strengthening Women’s Self-Help Groups

Finally, Chhattisgarh boasts 2.5 lakh Women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) with nearly 28 lakh members. These groups benefit from NRLM’s support, including skill training, credit access, and market linkages. In turn, these SHGs encourage savings and internal lending, helping women reduce their dependency on banks or moneylenders.

Overall, with the support of technology and government initiatives, Chhattisgarh’s women farmers are thriving. Their success is not only transforming agriculture but also empowering rural women and fostering economic growth in the region.

</excerpt>

The global urban population has been on an upward trajectory, with cities now accommodating more than half of the world’s population. This trend shows no signs of abating, with projections indicating that urban dwellers will make up 68% of the global population by 2050. This projected increase in urban dwellers represents a significant demographic shift. In Asia alone, over 2 billion people currently reside in urban areas. As cities expand to accommodate this influx of residents, challenges like suburban sprawl become increasingly prevalent. One of the most pressing issues in this regard is ensuring efficient transportation for residents navigating between residential areas, workplaces, commercial districts, and amenities. Effective transportation infrastructure not only facilitates movement but also plays a pivotal role in shaping the geographical and social landscape of cities, promoting pedestrianization, and mitigating congestion. Transportation is a substantial component of municipal expenditure, making it a focal point for innovation and entrepreneurship.

In this context, there are several transformative technologies poised to revolutionize urban mobility, including EVs. They offer a sustainable alternative to traditional combustion engine vehicles, reducing carbon emissions and dependence on hydrocarbon. With improved battery range and faster charging time and charging infrastructure, EVs are becoming more accessible and practical for urban dwellers. Governments and city planners are increasingly incentivizing the adoption of EVs through subsidies, tax breaks, and the development of charging networks, further driving their integration into urban transportation systems.

The rise of EVs and autonomous driving technologies is bringing a new era in urban transportation. Electric fleets contribute to cleaner air and reduced emissions in cities, while autonomous vehicles offer the promise of enhanced safety and efficiency in the movement of people and goods. The adoption of EVs brings significant environmental and economic benefits over traditional internal combustion engine vehicles. With over 70% energy conversion efficiency compared to under 40% in conventional vehicles, EVs boast lower emissions and reduced fuel costs. As battery costs decline and charging infrastructure expands, EVs are becoming increasingly cost-competitive and convenient. Many countries have set ambitious EV adoption targets, with automakers aiming for full electrification by 2030 or sooner. Beyond cars, electric buses, trucks, bikes, and scooters are also gaining traction. There is thus a need to reimagine charging infrastructure to maximize efficiency.

Micro-Mobility Solutions
Micro-mobility options such as e-scooters and bike-sharing programmes offer last-mile connectivity solutions, reducing congestion and promoting healthier lifestyles. The proliferation of electric micro-mobility vehicles marks a seismic shift in transportation, with benefits including reduced emissions and lower maintenance costs.

Mobility as a Service (MaaS)
Mobility as a Service (MaaS) platforms integrate various transport modes through a single-user app, enabling seamless travel planning, booking, payments, and ticketing. These apps offer convenience for users and valuable data insights for cities to optimize transit capacity and operations. As more users transition from private cars to shared transport, MaaS has the potential to transform urban mobility.

Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) Communication
V2X communication facilitates data exchange between vehicles, infrastructure, and pedestrians. This also allows for coordinated maneuvers and includes features such as emergency electronic brake lights. Combined with autonomy, V2X connectivity holds immense potential to minimize accidents and bottlenecks. Advanced networks like 5G and protocols like DSRC are crucial for split-second reliable connectivity essential for V2X.

Advanced Navigation Systems
Real-time navigation systems leverage rich data sources, such as real-time traffic information, satellite imagery, and historical route data, sand AI. By doing so, they offer personalized recommendations, alternative routes, and hyperlocal traffic predictions. Innovations like augmented reality and heads-up displays elevate navigation from static platforms to contextual digital assistants, enhancing the overall travel experience.

As transportation technology continues to evolve, there is a need for thoughtful regulation and planning to maximize benefits and minimize disruption across economies, communities, and the workforce. While challenges such as data privacy, cybersecurity, and job displacement persist, the transformative potential of these breakthrough technologies in reshaping urban transportation cannot be understated. The future of urban mobility depends on innovation, adaptation, and preparation as we strive for more connected sustainable and efficient mobility landscape.

Tushar Choudhury is Founder & CEO, Motovolt Mobility.

The upcoming update will include a “clinical grade” hearing aid capability, pending FDA approval. This feature aims to amplify specific sounds, such as speech and environmental noises, in real time. Apple anticipates receiving clearance from the FDA and other regulatory bodies soon.

In addition to the hearing aid function, Apple is adding a clinically validated hearing test that can be completed in under five minutes. This test, which requires both the AirPods Pro and a connected iPhone, involves listening to sounds at various frequencies and responding via the iPhone screen. Results will be displayed in the iPhone Health app, creating a personalized hearing profile that adjusts audio playback for music, podcasts, and calls.

Moreover, Apple is introducing a passive hearing protection mode, designed to reduce noise exposure in loud environments, such as concerts. This feature operates continuously to help prevent hearing damage, noting that one in three people regularly encounter harmful noise levels.

These updates for the AirPods Pro 2 are slated for release this fall in over 100 countries and regions. They will be available as a free software update for iOS 18.

As online retail sales are projected to hit $6.3 trillion in 2024, retailers face the challenge of managing increased order volumes while meeting customer expectations for fast, flexible, and predictable deliveries. Technology is revolutionizing the entire delivery process, from warehouse operations to last-mile fulfillment, ensuring smoother festive season deliveries.
</excerpt>

The festive season brings joy, celebration, and a surge in consumer spending.

Warehouse automation is the first step
The sheer volume of orders during peak seasons can overwhelm traditional warehouse management systems. Smart sorting systems are changing the game by automating the process of assigning boxes to the correct vehicles. This technology reduces errors, saves time, and optimizes warehouse operations, setting the stage for efficient deliveries.

Intelligent routing for navigating complexities
Static routing is no longer sufficient in today’s urban landscapes. Intelligent routing engines powered by AI and machine learning factor in numerous real-world constraints such as traffic, roadblocks, and route breaches. These advanced systems help drivers navigate on-ground challenges while saving fuel and ensuring timely deliveries.

Capacity management in line with demand surges
One of the biggest hurdles during peak seasons is accommodating huge order volumes with limited fleet capacity. Solutions that allow businesses to preplan using historical data and current fleet availability. This ensures that peak season orders are allocated to available resources while accounting for driver availability and holidays.

Real-time
visibility
Customers expect to track their orders in real time. Cutting-edge technology provides turn-by-turn navigation and proactive delay notifications. This level of transparency not only enhances the customer experience but also allows businesses to monitor overall driver performance and manage demand more effectively.

Customized delivery for better customer experience
Modern consumers demand precise delivery times. Smart solutions combine capacity and routing to prioritize high-priority orders, allowing businesses to offer and meet customized delivery windows. This level of service can significantly boost customer satisfaction during the hectic festive season.

Expanding delivery capabilities through third-party
Finding the right third-party shipper can be challenging. Carrier management systems connect retailers to a network of carriers, auto-assigning them to each order based on various parameters. This ensures error-free shipping and expands delivery capabilities during peak times.

Last-mile excellence is the final frontier
The last mile remains the most critical and costly part of the delivery process. Dispatch management platforms are transforming this final stretch by automating order processing, grouping shipments across multiple channels, and providing end-to-end visibility. These platforms can process cancellations, re-attempts, and returns with minimal human intervention, creating a frictionless delivery experience.

Empowering the front line, including drivers
Technology is not just about logistics; it’s also about empowering drivers. Driver companion apps help you navigate daily tasks, reduce burnout, and increase efficiency. By uplifting the driver experience, businesses can ensure faster, more reliable deliveries during the busiest times of the year.
As we embrace the festive season rush, technology is proving to be a great enabler, transforming every aspect of the delivery process. From warehouse automation to last-mile excellence, these innovations are helping businesses meet the surge in demand while delivering exceptional customer experiences. By leveraging these technological advancements, retailers can turn the challenges of the festive season into opportunities for growth and customer satisfaction.

However, the more elusive Scope 3 emissions, which encompass indirect emissions beyond operational boundaries, present formidable hurdles in measurement and control.
</excerpt>

As the global focus on environmental sustainability intensifies, businesses are increasingly challenged to reduce their carbon footprint. This footprint comprises both direct emissions, termed Scope 1, and indirect emissions within operational boundaries, known as Scope 2. However, the more elusive Scope 3 emissions, which encompass indirect emissions beyond operational boundaries, present formidable hurdles in measurement and control.

In sectors such as Manufacturing, Logistics, IT, Telecom, and Retail, where operational emissions typically constitute only a fraction of the total, Scope 1 and 2 emissions often hover around 5% to 10%. The lion’s share of emissions, up to 90%, falls under the umbrella of Scope 3, particularly highlighting the sprawling complexities of supply chains in emission management.

Despite their critical role in overall emissions, Scope 3 emissions are notoriously challenging to quantify and manage. This complexity arises from the intricate web of interconnected stakeholders within the supply chain, spanning multiple tiers of suppliers, each with its unique emission profile and environmental impact.

Consider a scenario in a medium to large manufacturing plant, where the supply chain extends across hundreds of Tier 1 suppliers and thousands of Tier 2 suppliers. The sheer magnitude of data collection and management required to monitor emissions from these diverse sources is staggering. Traditional tools like Excel sheets or offline databases fall short in handling such voluminous and dynamic data sets, necessitating advanced technological solutions.

Enterprises are increasingly turning to specialised platforms like OnlyGood.ai, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT) for real-time data capture and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) for data analysis, anomaly detection, and predictive modelling. These technologies not only streamline data management but also empower businesses with actionable insights to optimize their supply chain emissions.

The crux of decarbonizing supply chains lies in strategic data collection, monitoring, and control. Centralizing supplier data into a unified platform enables companies to track emissions across the entire supply chain network. Real-time monitoring capabilities allow for proactive intervention, identifying emission hotspots and implementing targeted mitigation measures.

However, the journey to decarbonization goes beyond data management; it requires a fundamental shift in mindset and practices across the supply chain ecosystem. Collaboration and engagement with suppliers are paramount, fostering a culture of sustainability and shared responsibility. Setting clear emission reduction goals and incentivizing suppliers to adopt green practices can drive significant improvements in emission outcomes.

Furthermore, regulatory frameworks like the Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting (BRSR) mandate companies to disclose their supply chain emissions. Compliance with such regulations necessitates robust data governance practices and transparent reporting mechanisms, areas where technology plays a pivotal role.

Comprehensive platforms offered by startups not only facilitate emission tracking and management but also automates the generation of BRSR reports, ensuring regulatory compliance and enhancing transparency. By harnessing the power of data analytics and AI-driven insights, businesses can unlock hidden opportunities for emission reduction, optimize resource utilization, and drive operational efficiencies.

Moreover, the benefits of decarbonizing supply chains extend beyond environmental stewardship; they encompass economic resilience, brand reputation enhancement, and risk mitigation. Consumers, investors, and stakeholders increasingly prioritize sustainability initiatives, rewarding companies that demonstrate a commitment to environmental responsibility.

In conclusion, decarbonizing supply chains is a multifaceted endeavor that demands a holistic approach, blending technological innovation with strategic partnerships and proactive governance. By embracing sustainable practices, leveraging advanced technologies, and fostering collaboration across the supply chain ecosystem, businesses can navigate the complexities of emission management, reduce their carbon footprint, and pave the way towards a greener and more sustainable future.

</excerpt>

Imagine flipping through a catalog and instantly seeing how that stylish new sofa fits into your living room, or how a pair of shoes looks on your feet—all from the comfort of your home. Welcome to Augmented Reality (AR) catalogs, where traditional shopping gets a futuristic twist. If your business isn’t using AR catalogs yet, it’s time to catch up. Discover why this technology is essential in my latest article.

1. Bring Your Products to Life
Traditional catalogs—be it print or digital—can describe your products in detail, use high-quality images, and even include videos. But seeing a product in your own space in real-time is a game-changer. AR catalogs allow customers to visualize how a product will look and feel in their environment. Picture this: a customer browsing through your AR catalog spots a lamp they love. With a simple tap, that lamp appears in their living room—virtually. They can walk around it, see how it complements their décor, and observe how the light affects the room’s ambiance. This interactive experience makes browsing engaging and memorable, simplifying the decision to purchase.

2. Increase Customer Engagement and Satisfaction
Shopping can be overwhelming with countless options leading to indecision. AR catalogs alleviate this by providing an immersive experience that makes products feel almost tangible. This not only makes shopping enjoyable but also instills confidence that customers are making the right choice. By interacting with products in a realistic setting, customers can make informed decisions, enhancing their satisfaction and reducing buyer’s remorse.

3. Stay Ahead of the Competition
In the fast-paced market, staying ahead means embracing the latest technologies that elevate customer experiences. AR is quickly moving from novelty to expectation. As more businesses integrate AR into their sales strategies, those who don’t will start to lag behind. By adopting AR catalogs, you position your business as a forward-thinking leader in a competitive landscape.

4. Boost Sales and Conversion Rates
AR catalogs can significantly drive sales. When customers see how a product will fit into their lives, they’re more inclined to buy. AR minimizes guesswork, making the purchase decision process smoother and quicker. Additionally, AR catalogs can lower return rates—a major concern for many businesses. Customers can virtually “try before they buy,” reducing the chances of disappointment when the product arrives. This leads to higher satisfaction and saves your business time and money.

5. Personalize the Shopping Experience
AR technology excels in creating personalized experiences. With an AR catalog, you can offer tailored product recommendations based on customer preferences and past interactions. Imagine a customer virtually placing a dining table in their home through your AR catalog, and the app suggests matching chairs, rugs, and even lighting to complete the look. This level of personalization enhances the shopping experience and drives additional sales.

6. Enhance Your Marketing Strategy
AR catalogs are more than just sales tools—they are powerful marketing assets. They offer an opportunity to generate buzz and differentiate your brand. Integrating AR features into social media campaigns allows customers to share their experiences, increasing your brand’s visibility. For example, a customer posts a photo of how your AR-powered furniture looks in their home, tagging your brand and piquing interest among their followers. This user-generated content can drive organic traffic to your catalog and boost sales.

7. Adapt to the Changing Consumer Landscape
Consumer expectations are evolving. Today’s shoppers are tech-savvy and demand seamless, innovative shopping experiences. AR catalogs meet this demand by combining convenience, engagement, and personalization in a way that traditional methods cannot. By adopting AR, you cater to the modern consumer’s preferences and stay relevant in a dynamic market.

Final Thoughts
The future of shopping is here, powered by AR. For businesses eager to stand out, engage customers, and drive sales, AR catalogs offer a transformative advantage. It’s not just about keeping up; it’s about leading the way. By embracing AR technology now, you’re enhancing your customers’ shopping experiences and setting your business up for success in the digital era.

So, why does your business need an AR catalog? Because it unlocks a new shopping era—where customers don’t just see your products, they experience them. And that’s a competitive edge worth having.

The range and nomenclatures might appear confusing, and that is why, in this story, I’ll not only talk about the new motorcycle, but would also briefly touch upon a few of these other Jawas, and a couple of Yezdis too, as and when required, to simplify things for you. But first, let’s discuss the new motorcycle.
</excerpt>

Here’s Everything You Need To Know About The New Jawa 42 FJ!

The Jawa 42 FJ is the latest motorcycle to be launched by Classic Legends Private Limited in their Jawa lineup, which currently comprises the Jawa 350, Jawa Perak, Jawa 42, Jawa 42 Bobber, and this, the Jawa 42 FJ as well now.

Jawa 42 FJ |
Introduction
You may call it the most improved Jawa 42 yet, and perhaps that’s why Classic Legends thought it appropriate to name it after František Janeček, the founder of Jawa. Yes, the “FJ” in the bike’s name is a tribute to the founder of the original Czech company, Jawa, with whose collaboration “Ideal Jawa” was formed in the sixties to manufacture the original two-stroke Jawa 250s for India. The Czech company still makes two-stroke motorcycles, along with a few four-strokes as well, and, interestingly, it sells a couple of Indian Jawa models too. From importing Jawas in the sixties, to exporting Jawas sixty years later, life has indeed come full circle for the Indian company. Well, it’s not technically the same company, but you get the sentiment, right?

Jawa 42 FJ | What’s New?
Everything. Almost. I would be able to tell you a lot more in detail once I review the motorcycle, but even right now you can see that this could pass off as an all-new motorcycle. I’ll segregate the headings for better readability.

Engine and Gear-Based Fuel-Mapping
The engine is new; well, it’s their Alpha 2 engine from the latest Yezdi Adventure 350 (the Jawa 42 Bobber also gets it), and not from the Jawa 350 as has been incorrectly reported by almost everyone. What’s the difference, you ask? A lot. The Jawa 350’s engine runs a compression ratio (CR) of 9.5:1 whereas the Yezdi’s and FJ’s engine run a CR of 11:1. The result? A lot more power and a bit more torque—that’s 29.1 PS and 29.6 Nm of the FJ vs 22.5 PS and 28.1 Nm of the Jawa 350. However, it’s worth mentioning that the Yezdi produces a bit more power and torque than the FJ. Also, the engine in all Jawa/Yezdi 350s is actually a 334 cc unit.
Most importantly, now ALL Jawa and Yezdi motorcycles, including the 42 FJ, get “gear-based fuel-mapping” where the fuel map changes depending on the gear you’re in (the gears in the motorcycle’s gearbox, and not your riding gear). See, in layman terms, motorcycle ECMs, with no ride modes, mostly have a single map designed to work under varying rpm and load conditions. The new Jawas’ and Yezdis’ ECMs have six fuel maps, one for each gear, which should ideally make fuelling absolutely perfect across the rev range. Honestly, I am hoping that with this update, Jawa R&D has finally bid adieu completely to the low-rpm fuelling niggles that plagued their first gen bikes. I really cannot wait to test this bike out.

Chassis
The Jawa 42 FJ’s chassis isn’t all-new, but there are changes. For example, while it’s still a dual-cradle frame, the headstock is different and so is the subframe. I haven’t seen the bike in person yet, but I think even the footoegs position is different as well.
The wheelbase is now longer (1,440 mm) and even the ground clearance has seen a jump. The claimed figure is now 178 mm. The fork has become fatter as well. It’s now 41 mm whereas the regular Jawa 42 has a 35 mm fork.
It’s time for a spoiler now—the “new” Jawa 42 FJ is essentially a Yezdi Roadster in different clothes and makeup. The wheelbase length, seat height (790 mm), and the fork thickness measurements are exactly the same, which means that all of the “new” stuff you have read about until now (except the subframe, which is decidedly new) is definitely new for a Jawa 42, but isn’t entirely new in essence. Strangely, this is something no one else noticed despite making all those walkaround videos, etc. That said, I will come back to you on this topic once again when I get to review the motorcycle.
For now, let’s continue with what Classic Legends is claiming about the Jawa 42 FJ.

Brakes Lights and Other Features
There’s dual-channel ABS on all variants, including the base model that has spoke wheels. Then there’s the anodised, brushed aluminium, fuel-tank cladding, complemented by aluminium headlamp stays (headlight-dome holders), grab handles, and footpegs.
A slipper clutch, upswept exhaust, all-LED lighting, fully digital instrument cluster, USB charging port, and offset fuel-cap complete the list of other notable features on the Jawa 42 FJ.

Colours and Price
The Jawa 42 FJ is available in a range of eye-catching colours, and the prices start from INR 1,99,142 (ex-showroom). Below is the detailed pricing for all variants:

Competition
The new Jawa 42 FJ goes primarily against the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 (you may read our review of it in last Thursday’s edition), Triumph Speed 400, Hero Maverick 440, Harley-Davidson X440, and even its own cousin, the Yezdi Scrambler.
Of course, I will be reviewing it soon to tell you how this 334 cc motorcycle fares against the higher capacity competition. For now, Classic Legends have indeed kept the pricing competitive by placing this Jawa amongst the least expensive motorcycles in the segment. We’ll soon see if the motorcycle itself is competitive or not.

</excerpt>

When CHAT GPT was introduced, it caused chaos and celebration. Chaos for the entire content-based community, and celebration for companies, who have always been burdened with reducing hiring costs. However, the starlight of GPT eventually started shrinking, as improved competitive products launched, and the internet economy started circulating its obvious loopholes.

What was meant to DERAIL the creator economy, became a movement for it.

Though limited, amongst the other controversial debates that CHAT GPT triggered, one good thing definitely came out of it, and that was GENERATIVE AI. After GPT got a much-needed reality check, the AI-based tech community prospered and evolved on the grave of GPT mistakes.

Companies like Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, and more joined the Generative AI revolution.

Other than joining the bandwagon of fame, and trend, the internet companies, launched GPT nemesis that could actually offer “real-time” solutions than just become a matter of speculation. Although, these AI tools like BARD, are still in their “learning phase”, the era of AI tools is now uneventful.

LinkedIn, being the ONLY company, that has 90% of its traffic generated through organic content, decided to optimize the platform’s offerings through AI. These tools are predicted to revolutionize the way people on LinkedIn, network, use creator tools, and sync in more with its search algorithm.

Since the tool’s launch mid-year, LinkedIn reported that users who have leveraged similar AI tools have seen their networks grow by an astounding 60%.

Here’s how it works--The AI tool works by personalizing your LinkedIn experience. Your profile, your interactions, the language you use – it all contributes to the tool’s understanding of your professional aspirations. It then provides suggestions to enhance and align your content strategy with your goals, improving your visibility among potential connections.

Hitchhiking on Algorithm– The wonders of LinkedIn’s AI just doesn’t stop here. It is also built to predict industry trends, giving you a significant edge over competitors and keeping you ahead in your field. It’s essentially your round-the-clock personal branding coach.

Personalized Outreach- Roughly 75% of decision-makers, and head hunters, scour LinkedIn for talent, enabling thought-leadership, and expanding their networks. Custom outreach, and more personalized INmails, through LinkedIn’s AI, essentially gives everyone an edge by 60% to better achieve their LinkedIn goals.

Although the features are more than one can ask for, the better question is – are we prepared to unlock its full potential?

If you are a Founder, or a Decision Maker or Headhunter, here are the top 5 ways through which you can monetize your profile through these new LinkedIn AI features–

Better audience segmentation: Define it not just by demographics, but by psychographics. The right message to the right person at the right time is the key. Through LinkedIn’s AI, headhunters can divide their audiences in a much more precise manner as compared to earlier. Even for entrepreneurs, or independent working consultants, networking through cold outreach, can become 50% more efficient.

Focusing more on getting engagement: Personal interactions build trust. Most importantly, like everyone else, I also wanted to find out how it fares against its only proper rival in the Indian market—the Triumph Speed 400. I have ridden the Triumph quite extensively as well, and although this story isn’t an outright comparison, I will be mentioning the Triumph for perspective, as and when necessary.
</excerpt>

Royal Enfield recently launched the Guerilla 450 in India, and I rode one for over a week to ascertain whether it’s a roadster like RE is claiming or is it a scrambler, or is it an amalgam of both.

Design and Presence
The first thing that would strike you about the Guerilla 450’s size is that, unlike the Triumph Speed 400, it doesn’t look like a small bike. And it isn’t. It’s bigger than the Triumph, and for sure looks and feels that way too. Thankfully, despite sharing the platform with the huge Himalayan 450, the Guerilla 450 doesn’t feel even a bit intimidating. And that’s the first key difference between the Speed 400 and the Guerilla 450. While the former does look and feel like a small bike, the latter looks and feels like a big bike, but without getting big enough to appear challenging to ride. That’s one of the most important factors for many choosing a roadster in India, which brings me to the category of motorcycle it really is. See, RE is calling it a roadster, but I say it’s a mix of a scrambler and roadster. If you’ve seen a Ducati Scrambler, you’d know. The semi-knobblies (and the fattest ones at that) at both ends are more scrambler than roadster.

But (and you’ll understand this if you weren’t born yesterday)—I can bet my two-stroke pistons on the fact that the Guerilla’s designers are big fans of the RD350 LC. In fact, I won’t even be surprised to know if one of the designers owns a specimen of the eighties’ two-stroke hooligan. See, the LC (and the air-cooled RDs as well) is still lusted after globally, and though it’s most popular in the US, the UK has a sizeable number of ardent RD fans too. And the Guerilla was designed in the UK…
If that white Guerilla doesn’t remind you of the LC, you need to introspect whether you actually know your motorcycles… Of course, it’s not called “White” by the chaps as RE, because, just like every other auto manufacturer nowadays, even RE has bestowed superfluous names to the colours we could identify and pronounce correctly even before kindergarten.

Therefore, instead of just calling it White, they call it Brava Blue. You may insert your favourite facepalm emoji here. Seriously, RE, why not call it White when that’s the predominant colour on the bike? How does it become Brava Blue, or any blue for that matter, when there’s so little (thankfully!) of it on the bike?
Still, that’s my favourite colour on the Guerilla and I so wish my test unit came in that shade. I even like the Silver (it’s more of a Grey, actually), or “Smoke Silver” as RE prefers to call it, but that’s available only in the base Analogue variant, and manufacturers don’t provide base models to media.
My review unit, the one you see here in the majority of pictures, came in a colour scheme that’s called Yellow Ribbon by RE. Then there are two more, Playa Black and Gold Dip. Except the Silver, all other paint schemes are dual-tone, with, again, the Brava Blue being the easiest on the eye.
I must add here that while the dual-tone schemes may look gaudy to some in the pictures, they do appear quite palatable in person. However, it would help RE to introduce solid colours as well. The motorcycle would look great in solid Black, Red, and White.
A note to RE: Pease don’t name them Casanova Black, Seductive Red, and Pious White.

Ergonomics and Maneuverability
The Guerilla 450 is the motorcycle for you if you want the Sherpa 450 engine (RE’s first short-stroke single) in your motorcycle, but find the Himalayan 450 too big and bulky for your stature and/or for city riding. However, I most tell you that while the claimed seat height of 780 mm sounds delightfully low, the size, shape, and contours of the seat make it feel like an 800 mm high perch, which, like I have been saying for over a decade now, is the highest that all motorcycle manufacturers in India should strive to limit their motorcycles’ seat height at—anything higher takes away a large chunk of your potential customers in India.

Fret not, the Guerilla 450 is manageable for anyone with an inseam of 27 inches and above, provided they are not complete newbies. I tested the seat height back to back with the Triumph Speed 400 of a friend and found out that the Triumph’s seat was just a wee bit taller. Still, the Triumph is a bit easier to maneuver in traffic because it’s comparatively lighter than the RE.

Surprisingly, both motorcycles have the exact same turning radius as well, which is a great feat achieved by RE as the Guerilla’s wheelbase is much longer than the Triumph’s.
You also sit more upright on the RE, and while the shorter folks would find both motorcycles to be comfortable ergonomically, it’s the RE that will be chosen by the taller folks if they aren’t going all the way up to the Himalayan 450. I must also mention that while the Guerilla is certainly easier than the Himalayan as far as lifting the bike up from its side stand is concerned, the Triumph is twice as better in this regard.

Performance
The Guerilla 450 uses the same engine and gearbox as the Himalayan 450, and here as well it’s a stressed member of the chassis. I’ll talk about the handling in the next section; right now let’s focus on the engine and gearbox performance. The Guerilla 450, ladies and gentlemen, is the quickest and fastest retro roadster in India right now. I am obviously talking about the sub-500 cc roadster segment. In fact, it’s even faster than the Pulsar NS400.

What are the numbers, you ask? Well, my best 0–100 km/h (GPS) time on the Guerilla 450 was 6.8 seconds whereas the best I could manage on my friend’s stock Speed 400, at the same stretch, on the same day, was 7.5 seconds. The Guerilla 450 also has the least amount of speedo error among ALL motorcycles sold in India! I managed a true (GPS) top speed of 160 km/h, whereas the speedometer showed 163 km/h. The Speed 400 on the other hand has the biggest speedo error in the segment. Therefore, while its speedometer shows the needle going past 160 km/h easily, the true top speed is just around 150 km/h. Honestly, that’s still more than enough for our roads…

But the Guerilla isn’t as tractable as the Speed 400. For those not in the know, the tractability of a vehicle is defined as its ability to maintain low speeds in higher gears without lugging the engine. The benefit? Less fatigue due to comparatively fewer gear changes in city traffic, which in turn translates to an overall lower rpm range as well in such conditions. Less engine heat is also a direct offshoot, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that a more tractable engine will run cooler than a not-so-tractable engine. There are several other factors that determine the thermal efficiency of an engine.
The crux is that while the Speed 400 is more “rideable” in city traffic than the Guerilla 450, there’s negligible difference between the two as far as heat management is concerned. In fact, the Guerilla 450, surprisingly has a slight edge here. In other words, in fender-to-illegal-bull-bar traffic the amount of heat you feel on your legs is a tad less on the Guerilla 450 than what you feel on the Speed 400. Well, it’s not really a surprise after all because the RE runs a comparatively lower compression ratio (11.5:1) than the Triumph (12:1).
That said, I still wish RE played around with the ECU and gearing a bit more to make it more tractable. Right now it’s almost the same as the Himalayan 450.

Handling Braking & Ride Quality
The Guerilla 450, despite the aforementioned semi-knobblies (block-pattern tyres), handles and brakes with aplomb. Thanks to the sharp steering geometry, it turns in quickly, and there hasn’t been any compromise made on stability either. Yes, in the corners too the bike remains stable and there’s more than adequate tyre grip available at all times. Of course, the straight line stability is also nothing short of outstanding.

The brake force is stupendous, and the brake feel is brilliant as well. So, yes, it not only goes quicker and faster than the Speed 400, but handles and brakes better than it too.
As far as the ride quality is concerned, the Speed’s suspension feels comparatively plusher on mildly rough patches, but it’s the Guerilla’s suspension (especially the rebound) that’s more composed on rougher stretches taken at a fair clip. For perspective, the Scrambler 400X is better than both here, whereas the Himalayan 450 is obviously the king.

Fuel Efficiency
I just can’t understand RE’s logic of providing an abysmally small 11 L fuel tank on the Guerilla 450. I know they wanted to reduce the kerb weight and I am sure the design team also had a say in it, but, RE should have ideally given it a 15 L tank. It would have not only given them a clear range advantage over the Speed 400, but a bigger tank would have made the bike appear more muscular and substantial.
And, no, it wouldn’t have made the bike intimidating for us shorter folks.
Anyway, be prepared to get around 25 km/l in the city, and 30 km/l on the highway IF you’re not riding like a maniac all the time. If that’s how you want to ride a motorcycle, spend more and get the D390 instead.

Miscellaneous
Just like the Himalayan 450, there’s Bluetooth connectivity on the Guerilla 450 as well with turn-by-turn navigation, but, I neither used it on the Himalayan nor on the Guerilla as it requires your phone screen to be always on, otherwise it doesn’t work. Still, it’s a feature that’s not even an option on the Triumph. I don’t need it, but many would, especially the gadget freaks, and the Guerilla will score a point here for them.
I must also mention that while I approve of RE’s decision to not provide a tyre hugger, both for aesthetic and technical (read: “unsprung mass reduction”) reasons, in rains, your pillion’s back (or your backpack, if you’re eternally single) would get completely smeared with mud.

Verdict
You can look at the Guerilla 450 in two ways. If you’re a short rider, who loves the Himalayan but can’t buy one, the Guerilla would be a good alternative for you. It might not have the long travel suspension of the Himalayan, but it still has enough travel at both ends to keep you smiling on rough roads. And, of course, it has the performance of the Himalayan.
If you’re not a short chap, but still contemplating the Guerilla as an alternative to the Speed 400, you’d already know by now that while it might not be as easy as the Triumph in the city, it’s certainly more fun than it in the city and everywhere else. And FUN is the primary reason we ride motorcycles, don’t we? If you want “easy,” please go buy an Activa. Motorcycles might not be your thing…

</excerpt>

In the world of banking and finance, security isn’t just a priority—it’s a necessity. With increasing threats and sophisticated cyber-attacks, financial institutions are turning to artificial intelligence (AI) and technology to stay ahead. Let’s explore how AI is transforming security operations and enhancing protection in this critical sector.

First off, let’s talk about automation and efficiency in security operations. Traditional security measures often involve time-consuming processes and manual oversight. This is where AI steps in to make a difference. By automating routine security tasks, AI helps banks and financial institutions manage security with greater precision and speed. For instance, AI-powered systems can handle tasks like monitoring transactions for suspicious activities or flagging potential security breaches. This automation not only reduces the workload for security teams but also ensures that potential threats are identified and addressed more quickly.

A great example of this technology in action is the use of AI-driven Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms. These platforms are designed to streamline security operations by integrating various security tools and processes. Instead of dealing with disparate systems, a SOAR platform uses AI to unify and automate responses to security incidents. This means that when a potential threat is detected, the platform can automatically take actions such as isolating affected systems or deploying countermeasures, often without requiring human intervention. This kind of automation enhances the efficiency of security operations and ensures a more coordinated response to threats.

Next, let’s delve into cyber threat intelligence and response. In today’s landscape, reactive measures are often too slow to be effective. That’s why proactive threat hunting has become essential. AI plays a significant role here by integrating threat intelligence and helping to anticipate and prepare for potential attacks before they occur. AI systems analyse vast amounts of data from various sources—such as network traffic, user behaviour, and global threat reports—to identify patterns and anomalies that might indicate an impending threat.

For example, AI can provide predictive insights by recognising patterns in historical data that suggest a new type of attack might be on the horizon. These insights allow security teams to adjust their strategies and defenses in advance, potentially stopping attacks before they even start. Additionally, AI can automate response solutions, meaning that when a threat is detected, the system can initiate predefined responses—like blocking malicious IP addresses or deploying updates—without needing manual input. This not only speeds up the response time but also reduces the risk of human error.

While the benefits of AI in banking and finance security are clear, it’s also important to address challenges such as algorithmic biases or integration issues with existing systems. Financial institutions must navigate these challenges to fully leverage AI’s potential. Additionally, the future of AI in security looks promising with emerging technologies like quantum computing, which could further revolutionise threat detection and response.

Overall, the combination of AI and technology in banking and finance is like having a high-tech security guard who never sleeps!

</excerpt>

The Indian healthcare industry, the third largest globally, faces significant challenges due to the vast population and socio-economic disparities. Technology has emerged as a powerful tool to address these issues, offering a new direction for the Indian healthcare system.

Bridging the Accessibility Gap
One of the most glaring issues in Indian healthcare is the disparity between urban and rural areas. While cities often boast better medical facilities, rural regions suffer from a lack of infrastructure and trained healthcare professionals. Telemedicine is revolutionizing this scenario by allowing patients in remote areas to consult specialists without traveling long distances. Initiatives like the National Digital Health Mission (NDHM) aim to create a digital ecosystem where health records are easily accessible, and consultations can occur remotely, extending quality care to even the most remote areas.

Enhancing Diagnostics and Treatment
Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) are being increasingly utilized in diagnosis and treatment, offering precise and efficient solutions. AI-driven diagnostics can surpass human accuracy in tasks like scanning, speeding up diagnosis while reducing errors. For example, AI technologies are used in early cancer detection, significantly improving patient outcomes. Personalized medicine, guided by genetic information, is another promising application, especially in a country like India, which has a vast genetic diversity. Tailoring treatments based on individual genetic profiles can enhance treatment efficacy and reduce adverse drug reactions.

Streamlining Healthcare Delivery
Technology is also transforming the efficiency of healthcare delivery in India. Electronic Health Records (EHRs) enable seamless sharing of patient data between hospitals and clinics, minimizing redundant efforts and improving integration, especially in managing chronic conditions like diabetes and heart disease. Blockchain technology is another emerging trend, offering a secure way to manage patient data, reducing medical errors, and improving care coordination, particularly when patients move between different healthcare facilities.

Empowering Patients through Digital Health
Digital health platforms and mobile applications are empowering Indian patients to take control of their health. These tools assist in monitoring vital signs, managing chronic conditions, and providing valuable health information, encouraging users to be proactive in their healthcare. For instance, apps that monitor glucose levels or remind patients to take their medication make managing chronic diseases more manageable. Online pharmacies have also made it easier for patients, especially in remote areas, to access their medications, ensuring timely treatment and enhancing medication adherence.

The Role of Government and Private Sector
The Indian government has been proactive in promoting the use of technology in healthcare, with initiatives like the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) laying the foundation for a digital health ecosystem. However, the government’s efforts alone are not enough. The private sector, including donors, entrepreneurs, and investors, plays a crucial role in developing and deploying healthcare technologies tailored to the Indian market. Public-private partnerships (PPP) are essential to ensure these technologies reach the broadest possible population, addressing challenges like affordability and digital literacy.

In conclusion, technology has the potential to overcome many of the Indian healthcare system’s challenges. By improving accessibility, enhancing diagnostics, streamlining healthcare delivery, and empowering patients, technology can make quality healthcare accessible to all. However, realizing this potential requires sustained investment, continuous innovation, and collaboration among all stakeholders to ensure that the benefits of technology are extended to every corner of the country. The future of India’s healthcare system looks promising, with technology poised to play a pivotal role in creating a healthier, more integrated society.

</excerpt>

Today the strides made by women in India’s IT sector are nothing short of awe-inspiring. Their ability to innovate, lead, and drive growth in this dynamic industry is truly remarkable.

Despite the challenges of juggling multiple roles and domestic pressures, these trailblazing women have risen to the top, shattering glass ceilings and redefining the landscape of technology in India. Their unwavering dedication, sharp intellect, and innovative spirit have propelled the IT sector to new heights, inspiring the next generation of leaders.

As we witness the transformative impact of women in the IT sector, there is still a long way to go. According to a study conducted by the CFA Institute, the IT sector has the representation of women in the workforce, with 30% female participation. The under-representation of women in the workforce has been and continues to be a major cause of concern always. The tech industry must take decisive steps to bridge this gender disparity. The solution lies in creating an inclusive and supportive workplace culture.

We can’t deny that innovation is the cornerstone of any industry and the propeller of economic growth. This involves addressing unconscious biases, fostering mentorship programs, and encouraging women to take more risks. Educational institutions are progressively assuming a pivotal role in shaping the future tech workforce. There is a growing emphasis on encouraging girls to embark on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education, actively debunking gender preconceptions, and ensuring equal opportunities for all genders.

Promoting inclusivity in organizations requires transparent hiring practices based on merit and skills. This approach emphasizes a commitment to fair evaluation and selection, ensuring that individuals are assessed based on their qualifications, experience, and capabilities rather than extraneous factors. By prioritizing meritocracy, organizations not only enhance the quality of their workforce but also contribute to a culture that values diversity and equal opportunities.

Government policies and industry collaborations can further amplify these efforts. Advocating for policies that promote gender equality in the workplace and encouraging partnerships between government bodies, educational institutions, and private enterprises can create a more holistic approach to addressing the gender gap in tech.

The imperative for diversity in the tech industry is not just a moral stance; it is a strategic necessity. Recognizing and embracing the unique perspectives that women bring to the field is essential for fostering innovation, driving business success, and ensuring that technology benefits everyone. As we continue to navigate the challenges of gender diversity in tech, it is crucial for companies, educational institutions, and individuals to play an active role in promoting inclusivity. By dismantling barriers, challenging stereotypes, and fostering a culture of equality, we can pave the way for a future where the tech industry reflects the diversity of the world it seeks to innovate.

</excerpt>

In an industry as visually driven as home decor, making the leap from browsing to buying can be daunting for customers. The uncertainty of whether a piece of furniture will truly fit or match their existing setup has long been a barrier to making confident purchases.

Enter augmented reality (AR), the game-changing technology that’s revolutionizing how customers shop for their homes—and how businesses sell to them.

The Magic of Augmented Reality: Seeing is Believing

At its core, AR allows users to overlay digital content onto the real world, typically through their smartphones or tablets. This means customers can now visualize a new sofa in their living room, test out various wall colors, or see how a trendy light fixture will look hanging from their ceiling—all without leaving the comfort of their home. For the home decor industry, this is nothing short of transformative.

How AR Drives Sales

When customers can see exactly how a product will look in their space, it drastically reduces the hesitation that often accompanies big-ticket purchases. Gone are the days of crossing fingers and hoping that the new armchair complements the rug. With AR, customers can make more informed decisions, leading to higher conversion rates.

Retailers that have integrated AR into their shopping experience have seen a significant uptick in sales. A key reason for this is the reduction in the “imagination gap”—the disconnect between how a customer imagines a product in their home and how it actually looks. By bridging this gap, AR makes it easier for customers to commit to a purchase, confident that what they see is truly what they’ll get.

Enhancing Customer Satisfaction: The Confidence Factor

Customer satisfaction hinges on meeting or exceeding expectations. With AR, expectations are managed more effectively because customers have a clearer, more realistic preview of their potential purchase. This transparency not only increases customer satisfaction but also builds trust between the customer and the brand.

Reducing Return Rates

One of the most tangible benefits of AR in home decor is the reduction in return rates. When customers know exactly how a product will fit and look in their space, the likelihood of post-purchase regret diminishes. Fewer surprises mean fewer returns, which is a win for both customers and businesses.

Returns are a costly problem for home decor businesses, both in terms of logistics and customer experience. AR significantly mitigates this issue by ensuring that the products customers order are what they actually want and need. As a result, businesses save on return shipping costs, restocking, and potential inventory losses, all while maintaining a happier customer base.

Practical Applications of AR in Home Decor

The practical applications of AR in the home decor industry are vast and varied, offering retailers multiple ways to enhance the shopping experience. Here are some of the most impactful:

Virtual Furniture Placement: AR apps allow customers to virtually place furniture in their homes to see how it fits and complements their existing decor. This not only aids in selecting the right size but also in choosing pieces that align with the customer’s style.

Color and Material Visualization: Deciding on the perfect color or material can be overwhelming. AR enables customers to change colors and materials in real-time, helping them visualize how different options will look in their specific environment.

Interactive Showrooms: Some retailers are taking AR a step further by creating interactive showrooms where customers can explore different room setups, swap out products, and even walk through virtual homes fully furnished with the store’s products.

Personalized Recommendations: By analyzing customer preferences and past behavior, AR apps can offer personalized product recommendations, making the shopping experience more tailored and efficient.

Case Studies: Success Stories in AR Integration

Several home decor brands have already reaped the rewards of AR integration. For example, IKEA’s AR app, IKEA Place, allows users to place true-to-scale 3D models of furniture in their homes. This app has not only driven sales but also significantly improved customer satisfaction by making the shopping process more interactive and personalized.

Similarly, Wayfair’s AR app enables customers to visualize furniture and decor in their homes, offering an extensive catalog of products. The app’s success is reflected in increased sales and a more loyal customer base, who appreciate the convenience and confidence AR brings to their shopping experience.

The Future of AR in Home Decor: What’s Next?

As AR technology continues to evolve, its role in the home decor industry is set to expand even further. We can expect more sophisticated features, such as advanced room scanning capabilities and even more realistic 3D modeling. Additionally, as more consumers become familiar with AR, its adoption will likely become a standard expectation in the shopping experience.

For businesses, staying ahead of the curve with AR integration not only boosts sales and satisfaction today but also future-proofs their operations in an increasingly tech-savvy market.

Wrapping Up: A New Era of Shopping

Incorporating AR into the home decor shopping experience is more than just a technological upgrade—it’s a strategic move that aligns with modern consumers’ needs and expectations. By empowering customers to make more informed decisions, reducing return rates, and enhancing overall satisfaction, AR is proving to be a valuable tool in driving business success.

As the technology continues to advance, the benefits will only grow, solidifying AR’s role as a cornerstone in the future of home decor retail. </excerpt>

WhatsApp has become a haven for spam and stalkers, primarily due to the ease with which anyone can message or call you simply by knowing your phone number. However, the messaging platform may soon give users more control over their inbox, allowing them to decide which messages to read and which to block. WhatsApp is testing a new feature that lets users block messages from strangers or unknown numbers.

This upcoming feature, named ‘Block Unknown Account Messages’, was recently spotted by the reliable source WABetaInfo. It’s currently being tested on the Android beta version 2.24.17.24, which is still in development, meaning it might take a few months before it’s released to the public.

Once available, the block feature will be located under the Privacy settings, within an Advanced section where users can activate it using a toggle button. WhatsApp suggests that enabling this feature could potentially improve device performance, though this claim remains unclear. Nonetheless, the feature promises enhanced privacy, particularly for women who might find this tool essential. Interestingly, the beta version also mentions that the block account feature will activate when message volume from unknown accounts exceeds a certain threshold.

WhatsApp has long been praised for its simplicity, allowing easy messaging and calling. However, this openness has also raised privacy concerns, especially when compared to apps like Signal, which are more cautious about granting access to unknown contacts. We anticipate that this privacy feature will be rolled out in the public beta version soon.

In addition to this, WhatsApp has recently introduced another feature now available to all users: the ability to create custom stickers using Meta AI. Users can also access a broader range of stickers and GIFs through GIPHY within the app.

</excerpt>

We test the scooter that identifies as a motorcycle!

I have been trying to chase you for almost 10 minutes now,” said the gentleman emerging out of his Maruti Suzuki S-Cross. I had slowed down to walking pace upon noticing the ubiquitous “Men At Work” signboards placed around the section where some repair work was being carried out on the Greater Noida expressway. This gentleman comes alongside and requests me to stop for a minute. I knew what was coming…

No, it wasn’t even remotely a road rage issue. It was the opposite. The gent was a doctor who was pleasantly surprised to see a “scooter” being ridden at 100 km/h (that’s the speed limit on the expressway). He asked about the scooter, and said that he would buy it soon as the regular scooters don’t really appeal to him, and his family doesn’t allow him to ride motorcycles. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the one-line review of the Yamaha Aerox. In other words, if conventional scooters don’t work for you, and you can’t really get a motorcycle for any reason, then this would be your best choice. But, this anecdote is from December 2021…

Fast forward to the present day; the S-Cross has long been discontinued; the doctor ended up buying the Activa as the Aerox wasn’t available in his city, and the Aerox received a few updates. Meanwhile, he just informed me that he still has his heart on the Aerox and that he might buy it next year.

Therefore, when Yamaha asked me if I wanted to ride it again, I couldn’t say no because we auto journalists are not only always up for a ride/drive, a few of us also continually strive to get better at our craft…The offshoot for the manufacturers is that their vehicles get reviewed in a manner that’s not too common. So let’s begin the review now, shall we?

Design and Ergonomics
Design wise, the Yamaha Aerox looked futuristic three years ago; it looks futuristic today as well, and it will look so even ten years down the line, I reckon. If you’re someone who loves attention, you would worship the Aerox.
It’s ergonomically sorted too. The seat height is low enough to enable even five-footers to tip-toe comfortably, while still not being constricting for six-footers. However, please note that unlike regular scooters and most auto journalists, this one has a spine, which means you can’t straddle it like a step-thru; you have to swing your leg over like you’d on a motorcycle.
The seat itself is comfortable though, for both the rider and pillion; however, short people will find the pillion perch to be quite high. So, if your better half would be riding along with you most of the time, make sure you take them along for the test ride for approval.

Smart Key / Keyless Go
The 2024 Yamaha Aerox comes in two variants: the regular, and this, the Version S. This one gets a Smart Key—similar to the key-fobs you get with most premium cars—which enables complete keyless operation of the vehicle. There’s a knob where the key slot is on the regular Aerox, and the knob’s function-slots are exactly the same as on the regular Aerox. So, keeping the Smart Key on your person, you’d press the knob once to unlock the scooter, and turn the knob a click past 12 O’ clock position to switch on the ignition—exactly how you would turn the key on the regular Aerox. Then, thumb the starter while pressing either of the two brake levers, and you’re ready to go. Yes, the steering lock is also keyless. The fuel lid and seat opening functions are also keyless, just like on the regular Aerox.
Still, you’re given a regular key, in addition to the Smart Key, in case the scooters battery has discharged completely, and you need to open the seat to take it out for charging.

Engine Performance, Handling, and Braking
Before I talk about performance, I must mention that sometime last year, Yamaha equipped the Aerox with Traction Control, a feature that wasn’t really needed on this scooter. In fact, let me take this opportunity to appeal to all manufacturers to STOP giving traction control and ride modes on two-wheelers that make less than 40 horsepower. Use that money in developing better headlights and suspension…
I am also baffled at Yamaha’s miserly act of not giving dual-channel ABS even now despite adding the wheel speed sensor and ring at the rear for traction control. I know it takes a lot more than that, but it should have been done. I don’t mind the drum brake at the rear, but dual-channel ABS on such a vehicle should be standard.
That said, the braking performance is still fantastic. I could achieve an eye-popping time of 3.7 seconds while braking from 100–0 km/h, which should also tell you that the tyres grip phenomenally well too. Still, don’t take this for granted Yamaha. We do need dual-channel ABS on the Aerox, period.
How about acceleration, you ask? Well, it would suffice to say that you’d be embarassing most 150–160 cc motorcycles at the lights. My best 0–80 km/h (GPS) time was 8.6 seconds, while 0–100km/h (GPS) came up in 16.5 seconds. The top speed is a speedo-indicated 120 km/h, which should be more than enough for everyone eyeing this scooter. The stability at three-digit speeds is rock-solid too.
And that’s how it is in the corners as well—absolutely surefooted. It turns jn quickly too; it’s a Yamaha after all. In fact, it would suffice to say that the Aerox is the best handling scooter in India. Moreover, its maneuverability is also second to none. There’s a good amount of steering lock-to-lock range that ensures a tight turning circle, which is a prerequisite for most looking for a scooter in India.
Plus, it feels light, which makes pushing/pulling it in and out of congested parking spaces a cinch. Putting it on to the main stand is also easy, and irrespective of your size, you won’t need to summon any strength to accomplish this task.

Ride Quality, Fuel Efficiency, and VVA Technology
The ride quality of this scooter with a light rider on board is downright pathetic. The rear shock absorbers are horrible and even the fork is nothing to write home about. Two up, the suspension certainly works better, but solo riding over bad roads will have you searching for aftermarket units, which, thankfully are available in plenty. But, the fact still remains that Yamaha’s flagship scooter should come with better suspension to begin with, especially one that retails at an ex-showroom price of over 1.5 lakh rupees.

The fuel efficiency is quite nice though. I achieved 29.43 km/l riding flat out all the time (which no owner would do), and 50.28 km/l by making a conscious effort to not exceed 72 km/h. What’s the significance of 72 km/h, you ask? Well, that’s the speed at which the engine, which has been taken from the YZF-R15, is doing a shade above 6,000 rpm, and that’s when Yamaha’s VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) kicks in. VVA is something I had written about in detail way back in 2018 when I rode the R15 V3 at its first media ride at MMRT, Chennai. You may Google that article, but I shall still briefly touch upon it here as well. It’s a beautiful technology that involves incredible engineering, and the chaps at Yamaha R&D don’t get enough credit for that by the press. They should; in fact, VVA deserves a full page article because it would be immensely enlightening to know how they managed to make the same rocker-arm geometry to work on both cam lobes; what valve-spring preload they kept; what do they have to say about valve-spring sag, air-intake length, etc. But that’s a topic for some other day. Right now, I shall explain this technology to you in layman terms.
See, usually in almost all SOHC motorcycles, irrespective of their price, the camshaft has two lobes, one each for intake and exhaust valves. However, Yamaha’s VVA technology switches the task of opening and closing of the intake valves to a third lobe, which is fatter (bigger profile), thereby increasing the valve lift, which in turn allows more fuel (air-fuel mixture) into the combustion chamber. The result? More power. But more fuel is consumed too. Therefore, keep it under 6,000 rpm at all times if you want to maximize fuel efficiency.
It’s also interesting to note that while the VVA kicked in at 7,400 rpm on the R15 V3, it kicks in at around 6,800–6900 rpm on the R15 V4, and just above 6,000 rpm on the Aerox.

Miscellaneous
The fuel tank capacity is disappointing; the headlight is average, and the instrument cluster now looks mediocre. There’s a 12 Volt DC power outlet though, and I don’t remember the last time I saw one on a scooter. There’s good storage space under the seat, and it can accommodate a full-size full-face helmet. The lack of a boot light is again a miserly act by Yamaha, and so is their decision to still not provide a parking brake.

Verdict
Despite my nitpicking in the paragraph above, you would have understood by now that the Yamaha Aerox is in a class of its own. There’s really nothing like it out there. It needs to be appreciated more. That VVA tech is something you don’t get in bikes costing ten times as much, and that alone wants me to overlook the scooter’s minor shortcomings like the stiff suspension, lack of dual-channel ABS, etc. However, the fact remains that such a vehicle should have these covered as well. I do hope that Yamaha addresses these in the next update. But, even right now, you just can’t go wrong with it.

There’s the Skoda Slavia 1.5! Let’s face it—the first car almost all of us drew as toddlers was a three-box sedan. </excerpt>

The Perfect Sedan Does Not Exi… Wait! There’s the Skoda Slavia 1.5!

Let’s face it—the first car almost all of us drew as toddlers was a three-box sedan. Even today, I think, kids are doodling the same shape when they aren’t immersed into their parents’ mobile phones. In fact, if you ask even grown-up car enthusiasts about the quintessential shape of a car, most of them would point towards their favourite three-box sedan. It’s a pity, then, that sedans are losing ground (all puns intended) to everything from raised hatchbacks to crossovers masquerading as SUVs, and there are three main reasons for it.

The first is ground clearance, which we Indians think we can’t do without. We don’t believe in improving our driving and civic sense; we just expect our cars to drive over everything in sight, and sedans have been considered notoriously incapable of such antics.
The second is space. We might not have any sense of personal space (that’s why, despite COVID, we still haven’t learnt to keep distance in queues of all kinds), but we expect our cars to accommodate everyone including our neighbours, and their dogs, even if we hate them (the neighbours, not the dogs; you can’t hate dogs). Here too, the sedans have been scoffed at for providing just as much cabin space as a hatchback…

The third is performance. The minority that actually loves driving sedans is forced to move towards other shapes because most manufacturers have just not been providing them with powerful and dynamically sorted sedans that would put a smile on their face.
Then, does the Skoda Slavia 1.5 have what it takes to change all of the above? I drove the DSG equipped specimen (they have a manual too, and I can’t wait to drive it) for over 700 km to find out…

Design and Colours
Last year, I saw a grey-ish coloured Slavia in Gurgaon and I had instantly fallen in love with it . I couldn’t ascertain in those few seconds (it passed by on the opposite side) whether it was a custom-wrap or the factory Carbon Steel colour but it looked drop-dead gorgeous. However, I do clearly remember that it didn’t have the stock alloy wheels…
My test car came in a shade of blue that Skoda refers to as Lava Blue. There’s a Crystal Blue as well, which I think is what most buyers are running after as it’s way brighter than the blue you see here in the pictures. Then there’s Tornado Red, Candy White, Brilliant Silver, Deep Black, and the aforementioned Carbon Steel as well.
Irrespective of the colour, the fact is that it’s a handsome car. The proportions are just right and there are no unnecessary slashes, cuts, creases, lines, etc., used to create a dramatic effect. It’s a simple and elegant design which would look good even decades down the line. The first Octavia still looks good, doesn’t it?
However, I was still not expecting the Slavia to turn a single head because it has been around for almost three years now. Therefore, I was pleasantly surprised to see it turning way too many heads everytime I took it out. In fact, I had to check the IRVM to see if there was something wrong with my face. There wasn’t. Therefore, if, like me, you don’t like being want the center of attention, get a White Slavia. But, if you’re an attention seeker, that Crystal Blue or Tornado Red will be even more gratifying than the Lava Blue.

Interiors
The interiors are again an understated classy affair. I love them. You’d love the cabin too as it does feel properly premium, but without shouting “hey, I just got rich yesterday!” Also, no one would have any complaints whatsoever with the quality of materials used or with the fit and finish.
Ergonomically too, it’s a brilliant cabin as none of the controls—stalks, switches, buttons, knobs, dials—are hidden like they are in a few cars. However, it’s not all good. Skoda really needs to do away with touch controls for the air-conditioning, and use proper tangible dials instead. Secondly, not providing a 360-degree camera is a glaring omission at this price. Guess what, I am totally okay with adjusting the seats manually. I had tested the BMW Z4 in 2015 and even that came with manual adjustment for the seats. And, forget a surround camera, it didn’t even have a camera of any kind. So I don’t understand why all journalists and influencers cry so much about the lack of powered seats in the Slavia. But, we surely do need a 360-degree camera, Skoda, and that’s coming from someone who has been driving for almost three decades now…
The seats all around are comfortable and there’s a fantastic amount of legroom and kneeroom at the rear. The cherry on top is that the Slavia has one of the largest boots in the segment too. So, yes, your in-laws would be happy with not only the rear seat space, but with the boot space too as it will accommodate all their luggage easily, provided, of course, you’re as accomodating a son-in-law as well.
That said, it would do well for Skoda to start working on providing more powerful air-conditioning systems in Slavia and Kushaq. It’s not that the AC is ineffective right now; it’s just that in the terrible Delhi heat, you end up running it at full blast most of the time, which is not something you expect from a “premium” car. Also, the circular vents at the corners of the dashboard remained underwhelming irrespective of the air-flow setting I chose. Thankfully, the front ventilated seats do come to your rescue.

Performance
This is where you’ll pat yourself on the back for choosing this car. The performance is outstanding. And I am not talking only about the engine, but the handling too. But, first, the customary 0–100 km/h figures: my best time on GPS was 10.0 seconds, which translated to 9.5 seconds on the speedo. Yes, the speedo error is minimal. I reckon the manual to shave at least half a second off because it won’t suffer from the initial hesitation that’s typical of dual clutch transmissions. That said, in traffic-light sprints, you won’t experience that lag because you won’t have your foot on the brake while you floor the throttle. You would leave the brake, and immediately step on the gas…
Overtaking is also a quick affair, even in the normal Drive mode. But if you really want the quickest response, just push the gear lever once back to select the Sport mode and then push it towards yourself to slot it in manual. Unparalleled happiness is guaranteed. You won’t need paddle shifters, but they are there in case you want total control in the ghats…
The handling is sublime too. The steering is perhaps the most direct in the segment, but I wish it weighed up more at speeds over 80 km/h. The sure-footed chassis behaviour more than makes up for it, which ensures that high speed lane changes are a precise affair, and at no point the car feels nervous. What surprised me the most was the tyre grip. Even under extreme cornering the tyres just refused to leave grip! Of course, the ELD (Electronic Differential Lock, which is the same as BLD or Brake Lock Differential in 4x4s, and not an actual mechanical LSD) helps, but I could still feel that the tyre grip itself is second to none in the segment. The braking is phenomenal too, which in turn adds to your confidence.
The only minor complaint that I have is around the abruptness of the DSG while reversing on an undulating incline. Skoda R&D may want to look into the ECM LOGIC and reprogramme it to offer a smoother clutch engagement and fuelling in such scenarios.

Ride Quality and Ground Clearance
The Slavia’s ride quality is certainly not the best in segment, but, honestly, that’s something you’d be happily willing to compromise for the aforementioned sublime handling. In fact, I would even encourage you to upgrade to 17-inch wheels after, say, a year, to further reap the rewards of this car’s dynamic ability.
I must add here that the ride quality isn’t bad by any stretch of imagination. It’s just that if ride quality is your topmost priority, then this isn’t the car for you. This is a proper driver’s car, period.
The ground clearance is also something that will keep you happy. With this car, you can take the worst speed-breakers head on without damaging the car. This is again where the firm suspension helps as well, both in compression and rebound strokes.

Fuel Efficiency
Owning the Skoda Slavia 1.5 would be akin to having your cake and eating it too. How does over 20 km/l sound? Of course, that’s with a feather light right foot, but it’s very much possible. Drive like a devil and it will drop down to single digits, but you won’t be driving like that all the time, right? However, you can certainly choose to drive peacefully amidst traffic. Do that five days a week, and you’ll be able to extract over 700 km from one full tank of petrol. Do you still need a hybrid?
Drive it like a maniac on Sundays, and the range will drop down to 500 km. That’s still good for a car with a 45 L fuel tank. So, yes, you still won’t miss a hybrid. Also, unlike the hybrids, this would give you way more on the expressways, if you’re a law abiding citizen…

NVH Levels, Music System, and Headlights
I’ll take this opportunity to expand what NVH means. It stands for Noise, Vibration, and Harshness, and is a crucial parameter for any car that has the word “premium” attached to it. I am happy to report that the Slavia aces this one as well. At cruising speeds, the cabin can get eerily quiet, which, if you’re driving alone, might compel you to think about your ex. Therefore, you should either refrain from driving alone, or you must listen to some “happy music” because the Slavia’s music system is amongst the best in segment. Or, you may turn the music off, and increase the pace, focussing totally on driving, as, like I had mentioned above, this car has the performance and handling to elevate your mood in a jiffy. And, if you’re driving for happiness at night, the headlights, in true Skoda fashion, are bright enough to have you covered there as well.

Verdict
You may have noticed that I didn’t talk about its 5-star safety rating and other active and passive safety features, because you know all that already. Yes, it’s perhaps the safest car in the segment. But, that’s not the reason I’ll recommend this car to you. You don’t need me for that. You can read that yourself in a brochure. The only reason I’ll urge you to buy this car is for the sheer unbridled driving pleasure it offers, especially at a time when the soulless washing machines on wheels, also known as electric cars, are threatening to take over. Buy a real car while you still can. You will thank me later. And that’s not something you’ll read in a brochure.

</excerpt>

In recent years, RegTech platforms have emerged as a critical innovation in compliance management. These platforms leverage advanced technologies to streamline regulatory processes, ensuring that organizations can meet their compliance obligations more efficiently and accurately. RegTech platforms automate routine tasks, enhance data accuracy, and provide real-time insights, making compliance less burdensome and more effective. In India, the adoption of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) within RegTech solutions is revolutionizing how compliance management is conducted, driving significant improvements in productivity and reliability.

The landscape of compliance management in India is undergoing a significant transformation due to the advent of advanced technologies such as RPA and AI. These technologies are reshaping RegTech platforms, making compliance processes more efficient, accurate, and less dependent on human intervention.

RegTech platforms are designed to streamline various compliance activities, such as performing verifications and validations, generating forms and formats, and providing dashboards and Management Information Systems (MIS). They also deliver alerts and notifications on critical activities and deadlines. To achieve seamless data transfer, these platforms securely integrate with various source systems and, in some cases, with destination systems for consolidation, governance, and global reporting.

RPA plays a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency of compliance management. It facilitates data transfer between platforms and source/destination systems when direct integration is not feasible or preferred. Additionally, RPA performs logical calculations, reconciliations, data extraction, verifications, content structuring, and information dissemination automatically. This automation of repetitive and rule-based tasks allows compliance professionals to focus on more strategic activities. For instance, RPA can extract data from multiple systems, perform necessary calculations, and input the processed information into the RegTech platform. This significantly reduces the time and effort required for these tasks, leading to substantial efficiency gains.

AI introduces automated decision-making processes within RegTech platforms. It defines and executes triggers in the workflow, ensuring timely actions based on specific conditions. This reduces the dependency on human decision-making and enhances execution timelines. AI enhances RegTech platforms’ ability to identify patterns and anomalies in large datasets, improving the accuracy and reliability of compliance activities. It can also predict potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions, thereby preventing issues before they arise.

Let’s understand the combined impact of AI and RPA in streamlining the compliance process with a situational example. During an audit, RPA extracts information from multiple systems, performs logical calculations, and enters the processed information into the RegTech platform. The platform, acting as an auditor, generates an audit report with various outcomes. AI then steps in as an audit reviewer to verify the report, assess risk categories, scores, and trends, and generate the final report for dissemination. Any exceptions are validated, re-processed, and re-verified.

The combination of RPA and AI creates a powerful synergy in RegTech platforms. While RPA handles the extraction, structuring, and initial processing of content, AI automatically triggers subsequent workflow steps using decision-making algorithms. This collaboration ensures tasks reach logical conclusions efficiently. The roles typically performed by humans, such as data extraction, logical processing, and report generation, can now be automated end-to-end using RPA, RegTech platforms, and AI. This leads to improved accuracy and speed, regardless of the volume of information.

There are a few niche compliance execution platforms in Indian markets that integrate RPA extensively for multiple processing and dissemination activities. These platforms can integrate with various source and destination systems, such as HRMS platforms, payroll engines, accounting ERPs, and third-party tools. RPA is embedded within these RegTech platforms, enhancing their functionality and reducing the need for human intervention.

While AI is still at a nascent stage, its potential is immense. Companies are experimenting with select modules of their platforms, aiming to deliver AI-powered functionalities for regular use by the next financial year. This gradual integration of AI promises to revolutionize compliance management, making it more efficient, accurate, and automated.

As these technologies continue to evolve, the future of compliance management looks promising, with the potential for even greater advancements and improvements.

</excerpt>

In today’s era of innovation, success in the IP industry is often defined by the speed and efficiency of the patent system.

However, India is at a crossroads when compared to international benchmarks. While countries like the United States award patents in an average of three years, India grapples with a prolonged process spanning five to eight years. This extended duration not only hampers India’s competitiveness in innovation but also signals a critical need for major improvements in patent search and analysis methodology. The integration of technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) offers a promising solution to these bottlenecks.

Let us discover how AI and ML can ease India’s patent prosecution process leading to higher efficiency and fostering a better conducive environment for innovation.

Identifying challenges
The efficiency and effectiveness of a country’s patent system are key determinants of its competitiveness and technological advancement. But that does not paint the whole picture.
Global insights reveal that the quantity of patents granted does not reliably reflect a country’s capacity for innovation. Quality, not quantity, is of foremost importance for true technological advancement—a challenge highlighted starkly by China’s rapid patent expansion. Hence, while the Indian government’s effort to grant over 100,000 patents between 2023-24, the country’s innovation sector can use further improvements in its processes and systems.

The USTR’s 2024 Special 301 Report identifies India as a challenging economy in terms of IP protection and enforcement. It calls for India to fully implement the WIPO Internet Treaties, highlighting gaps in digital copyright protection and emphasizes the need to ensure that copyright statutory licenses do not extend to interactive transmissions.
There is also a workforce gap equipped to handle the mounting volumes of patent applications. Almost 2 lakh patents are pending examination in India, and it can be challenging for the workforce to tend to each filing without the support of technologies such AI and ML that can sort through the data efficiently.

Additionally, as technology advances, patents become more intricate and interdisciplinary. They often span multiple domains such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and biotechnology that require specialized skills for proper classification, novelty assessment and determination of patentability. For instance, AI applications in healthcare could involve algorithms, data processing methods, as well as innovative medical devices, requiring deep expertise in the respective areas for accurate classification and assessment of novelty.
Addressing these challenges requires a transformative approach, and technology can offer promising solutions. These technologies hold the potential to significantly enhance the effectiveness of India’s patent system.

The impact of technology
Even before the mounting popularity of LLMs (Large Language Models), the IP teams of the busiest patent filers in the world had been using AI for many years. But the technology has significantly improved in the past few years, making its capabilities better suited for wide-scale adoption.

Traditional keyword-based search methods need a lot of refinement before they give any relevant results, and this process is time intensive and prone to human errors.AI-driven semantic search overcomes this limitation by understanding the searcher’s intent and delivering highly relevant information. This translates to increased efficiency in tasks like prior art search and idea screening. Additionally, AI can also automate other laborious processes like classification, and summarization, which result in considerable time and cost savings.

By incorporating AI into the patent search and review process, examiners are relieved of the task of complex search and retrieval and can focus more time on establishing novelty and eligibility. This streamlines the procedure for both applicants and examiners, resulting in faster technical progress.
As countries like India embrace AI in patent processes, they can expedite approvals and enhance the quality of granted patents. This fosters a more robust innovative ecosystem, paving the way for a brighter technological future.

A Path to Progress
Despite challenges such as lengthy approval times and backlogs of pending applications, with the right applications of technologies, patent approvals can be expedited in India while ensuring higher quality assessments that align with global standards of innovation.
Moreover, the strategic deployment of these technologies in the patent system, will enable India to enhance its IP infrastructure, attract more enterprises, and foster a collaborative environment for research and development. The path forward involves continued investment in the technological landscape and collective efforts between stakeholders.
</excerpt>

E-commerce has been a game-changer for the retail industry, providing convenience and a wide array of choices to consumers worldwide. However, the next big leap in the e-commerce revolution is already on the horizon: Augmented Reality (AR).
By blending digital elements with the physical world, AR is set to transform online shopping into a more interactive, immersive, and personalized experience. Let’s exploretoday, how AR is shaping the future of e-commerce and what it means for consumers and businesses alike.

Enhanced Shopping Experiences
One of the most significant ways AR is revolutionizing e-commerce is by enhancing the shopping experience. Traditional online shopping relies heavily on static images and descriptions, which can often fall short of providing a comprehensive understanding of the product. AR changes this by allowing customers to interact with products in a 3D environment.
= Virtual Try-Ons: Imagine being able to try on clothes, shoes, or accessories without stepping out of your home. AR makes this possible. Brands like Warby Parker and Sephora already offer AR experiences where customers can see how glasses or makeup products will look on them. This reduces the uncertainty and hesitation that often comes with online shopping.
= Home Decor and Furniture: Companies like IKEA use AR to let customers visualize furniture in their homes. With AR, you can place a virtual sofa in your living room to see if it matches your decor and fits in the space. This not only enhances the shopping experience but also helps in making more informed purchasing decisions.

Increased Engagement and Interaction
AR provides an interactive element that traditional e-commerce lacks. By allowing customers to interact with products, AR creates a more engaging shopping experience.
= Interactive Product Displays: AR can turn a simple product listing into an interactive 3D model. Customers can zoom in, rotate, and see the product from all angles, giving them a better understanding of its features and quality.
= Storytelling: Brands can use AR to tell the story behind their products. For example, scanning a product with an AR app could reveal information about its origins, the materials used, and the craftsmanship involved. This not only adds value to the product but also builds a deeper connection between the brand and the customer.

Personalization and Customization
Personalization is a key trend in e-commerce, and AR takes it to the next level. By using AR, brands can offer personalized shopping experiences tailored to individual preferences and needs.
= Tailored Recommendations: AR can analyze customer preferences and behavior to provide personalized product recommendations. For instance, if you’re shopping for a new wardrobe, an AR app could suggest outfits based on your style, previous purchases, and even current fashion trends.
= Customizable Products: AR enables customers to customize products in real-time. Whether it’s choosing the color of a new car or designing a custom pair of sneakers, AR makes it easy for customers to see their unique creations before making a purchase.

Streamlined and Efficient Shopping
AR can streamline the shopping process, making it more efficient for both customers and businesses.
= Reduced Returns: One of the biggest challenges in e-commerce is handling returns. AR helps reduce returns by providing a more accurate representation of products, ensuring that customers know exactly what they’re buying. For example, AR can help ensure that the size and fit of clothing are just right, minimizing the likelihood of returns due to sizing issues.
= Improved Customer Support: AR can enhance customer support by providing virtual assistants that guide customers through the shopping process. For instance, AR can be used to demonstrate how to assemble a product or provide step-by-step troubleshooting for technical issues.

Future Innovations
The potential of AR in e-commerce is vast, and we are only scratching the surface of what’s possible. Here are some future innovations we can expect to see:
= AR Shopping Assistants: Virtual shopping assistants powered by AR could guide customers through their shopping journey, offering personalized advice and recommendations based on real-time data.
= Virtual Stores: Imagine browsing through a virtual store that looks and feels like a physical one. AR can create immersive virtual shopping environments where customers can explore products just like they would in a brick-and-mortar store.
= Social Shopping: AR could make social shopping more interactive. Friends could shop together in a virtual environment, trying on products and sharing their opinions in real-time, no matter where they are in the world.

Wrapping Up
The future of e-commerce in an augmented reality world is bright and full of potential. AR is not just a novelty; it’s a powerful tool that enhances the shopping experience, increases engagement, and provides a level of personalization and interactivity that traditional e-commerce cannot match.
As AR technology continues to evolve, it will undoubtedly play a crucial role in shaping the future of online shopping, making it more immersive, efficient, and enjoyable for consumers and businesses alike. Embrace the AR revolution – the future of e-commerce is here.
