Conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, currently incarcerated for allegedly extorting ₹200 crore from an industrialist, has written a letter to the newly elected US President Donald Trump, congratulating him on his victory. In the letter, Sukesh, who claims to be in a relationship with Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez, shared his plans to invest $135 million (₹1130 crore) in a Los Angeles studio as a tribute to his “lady love.”

Sukesh refers to Trump as “big bro” and recalls a meeting with him from a decade ago, where Trump advised him to “Accept the World the way it is or see it the way you want it to be.” Sukesh expressed his gratitude for the advice, thanking Trump for always motivating him and never judging him during their encounters.

In his letter, Sukesh also revealed that his company, LS Holdings and LS Gaming LLC, intends to expand its investment in the US to $500 million (₹4200 crore) over the next two years.

A notable part of the letter mentioned his relationship with Jacqueline Fernandez. Sukesh recalled another piece of advice from Trump: “Treat your women always with dignity and make her always feel special.” He stated that, in accordance with this advice, LS Holdings is investing $135 million in a studio in Los Angeles to produce films and shows, a gesture he dedicated to Jacqueline.

Sukesh, arrested in 2015 for his alleged role in a multi-crore fraud, has been in Mandoli Jail ever since. During investigations by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Jacqueline Fernandez’s name surfaced. While Sukesh claims to be in a relationship with her, Jacqueline maintains that he deceived her into believing he was a legitimate businessman and now uses intimidation tactics against her.

Sukesh Chandrashekhar, who is currently in a Delhi jail, has reportedly gifted a yacht to Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez for her 39th birthday, according to sources. In a letter to Jacqueline, Sukesh revealed that the yacht, named ‘Lady Jacqueline,’ was the one she had selected in 2021.

Money Laundering Case

In July, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned Jacqueline Fernandez for another round of questioning in connection with a money laundering case involving Sukesh Chandrashekhar. The case relates to the alleged cheating of high-profile individuals, including Aditi Singh, the wife of former Fortis Healthcare promoter Shivinder Mohan Singh, amounting to about ₹200 crore.

The ED has claimed that Sukesh used illegal funds, referred to as “proceeds of crime,” to buy gifts for Jacqueline. However, Jacqueline has consistently maintained that she is innocent and was unaware of Sukesh’s alleged criminal activities.

Sukesh Chandrashekhar Urges Home Minister’s Intervention in Delhi Excise Policy Case

Sukesh Chandrashekhar, currently incarcerated in Delhi’s Mandoli Jail, has reached out to Home Minister Amit Shah, urging his “intervention” in the ongoing investigation into the Delhi Excise Policy case, which led to the recent arrest of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Chandrashekhar, a key figure in a Rs 200 crore extortion case, has submitted screenshots of WhatsApp conversations allegedly involving him, Bharat Rashtra Samithi MLC K. Kavitha, former Delhi minister Satyendar Jain, and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.

The messages purportedly outline cash transactions, with amounts coded as “Ghee Tin,” representing Rs 1 crore each, according to Chandrashekhar’s complaint.

He claims that his staff in Hyderabad collected the cash at Kavitha’s behest and then transferred it to Delhi and Goa.

Chandrashekhar contends that these conversations provide substantial evidence of Kavitha, Jain, and Kejriwal’s involvement in the transactions.

In his plea, Chandrashekhar expresses his willingness to fully cooperate with the investigation and provide additional evidence regarding the “alleged AAP Syndicate, led by Arvind Kejriwal, Satyendar Jain, Manish Sisodia, Kailash Gahlot, and K. Kavitha.”

The complaint requests swift action by the Home Minister in line with the law.

SC dismisses Chandrasekhar’s plea seeking extension of time to meet lawyers in jail

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court denied a petition filed by alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar and his wife Leena Paulose seeking an extension of the visitation time allotted by jail authorities to meet with family, friends, and legal representatives.

A bench of Justices Ajay Rastogi and Bela M Trivedi chastised Chandrashekhar for filing such a petition and stated that visitation is already provided to him in accordance with prison rules. The Supreme Court rejected his plea, noting that the accused were not in a position to seek such “privileges” and make such “extraordinary demands.”

The counsel for Chandrasekhar stated that 28 cases against his client are pending across the country, that more than ten lawyers have been retained, and that the visitation time allotted by the jail rules is insufficient.

The bench took exception to the submission and said, “You give the name of the lawyers, and we will ask the jail authorities to allow your lawyers to stay in jail. What kind of statement you are making in this court? Do you want a privilege in jail?”

“According to jail rules, only 30 minutes twice a week are allotted for meetings with lawyers, which is insufficient,” his lawyer said, adding that his client’s right is being violated.

Chandrasekhar filed the petition in the Mandoli jail, requesting an extension of time to meet with and consult with his lawyers. Chandrasekhar and his wife are being held in jail on suspicion of money laundering and defrauding several people.

He is charged with numerous multi-million dollar fraud cases, as well as extorting Rs 200 crore from the family of former Fortis Healthcare and Ranbaxy Lab promoters Shivinder and Malvinder Singh from the prison grounds.

New video shows Satyendar Jain being served outside food; ‘he gained 8 kg,’ says BJP

The BJP questioned new footage of the Delhi minister allegedly receiving meals from outside on Wednesday in the wake of the controversy surrounding Satyendar Jain’s massage video from Tihar. The Delhi minister is depicted in the video sitting in the same cell where he was before seen getting a massage. A person from the outside approaches, brings him food, and also sets the trash can close to him. There are a lot of empty boxes on the bed.

A Tihar Jail source who claimed that the minister has gained 8kg of weight in jail contrary to his lawyer’s claim that he lost 28kg of weight, according to a report published by the news agency ANI.

Sharing the food video, BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla said after getting ‘champi’ from a ‘rapist’ whom they tries to pass off a physiotherapist, now another video shows Satyendar Jain being served outside food. “he is being served outside food by two attendants as if he is in a resort or restaurant and there is a variety of delicacies and dishes in front him — as if he is not there for the saza (punishment) of corruption, but maza (fun) of massage and restaurant food.

“Kejriwal must answer why Jain who has been in jail for the last 5 months is being given this facility — by keeping him in the minister post — to take ‘vasooli’ from Sukesh, ‘maalish’ from a rapist and now outside food,” Shehzad said.

On Tuesday, Jain submitted in court that he was not getting any privilege in jail. In fact, he was deprived of facilities like proper food and medical check-ups that he is supposed to get, he said. “I have lost 28 kg in jail. Is this what a privileged person in jail gets? I’m not even getting proper food. What privilege are they talking about? No prison rules are violated if an undertrial is pressing his hand or feet,” the minister submitted in the court through his lawyer Rahul Mehra.

“Even Ajmal Kasab got a free and fair trial,” Jain’s lawyer submitted. “I am surely not worse than that. All I seek is a fair and free trial. Please look at the kind of media reports that are running against him and that is in their interest,” Mehra added.

Ahead of the Gujarat assembly election and the Delhi municipal polls, the BJP and the AAP are at odds. The AAP-BJP rivalry grew more heated as a result of several controversies surrounding Satyendar Jain’s incarceration. Conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, who was imprisoned in connection with a case involving the money laundering of Rs 200 crore, alleged in a string of charges that he had paid Satyendar Jain money in exchange for “protection.”

Delhi court grants bail to Jacqueline Fernandez in money laundering case

A Delhi court on Tuesday granted actor Jacqueline Fernandez bail in the Rs 200 crore money laundering case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekar on a personal bond of 2 lakh.

On November 11, special judge Shailendra Malik had said the order was not ready and extended the interim protection granted to Fernandez, a Sri Lankan national, till Tuesday

After hearing from lawyers representing both the actor and the Enforcement Directorate, the court on Thursday had deferred its decision (ED).

The central agency’s decision not to arrest Fernandez during the course of the case inquiry had been called into doubt by the court during the arguments. “Despite issuing a LOC, why haven’t you (ED) detained Jacqueline yet throughout the investigation? Other suspects are incarcerated. The special judge had questioned why different standards were being used.

You can’t have a pick-and-choose policy. There must be reasons for not arresting (an accused),” the court remarked.

Responding to the court’s poser, advocate Shailesh N Pathak, appearing for the agency, said that a Lookout Circular (LoC) was already open against the actor and so the Investigating Officer (IO) did not exercise his power of arrest.

In the supplementary charge sheet, Fernandez, who had previously been subpoenaed by the ED in connection with the investigation, was for the first time listed as an accused.

She was not listed as an accused in either the original charge sheet or the supplemental charge sheet from the ED.

The specifics of the remarks made by Fernandez and fellow actor Nora Fatehi were, however, disclosed in the records.

Congress leader Ajoy Kumar on Wednnesday demanded a Narco test for Delhi Minister Arvind Kejriwal, minister Satyender Jain, and conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.

He stated that for the first time someone has clearly accepted of giving a certain amount of money to the CM. “Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Satyendar Jain, and Sukesh Chandrashekhar should undergo Narco tests. This is the first time in the country that someone has clearly written about him giving a certain amount of money to any chief minister,” Congress leader Ajoy Kumar said. The statement came in reference to conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s letter to Delhi lieutenant Governor VK Saxena alleging that a total amount of Rs 50 crore was paid to the AAP as he was promised an important party state in south India.

“The hardcore honest party is the hardcore dishonest party and the CBI should investigate Sukesh’s allegations,’ he alleged.

In addition, Kumar said that the AAP was using the hawala system to transfer funds in order to support candidates in Gujarat, and he indicated that Satyendar Jain and Manish Sisodia were imprisoned as a result.

“Chief Minister Kejriwal does not keep any portfolio, Kejriwal is an officer, who knows that he can be caught after he signs the file; because of him Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain are trapped in corruption charges. The ministers of the Kejriwal government need to be aware of him,” Ajoy Kumar said.

“Today I saw in the CBI office that there’s no issue of any scam (excise policy case). The whole case is fake. I understood all that in the nine hour-questioning today. The case isn’t to probe any scam against me, but to make Operation Lotus successful in Delhi,” Sisodia said on Saturday.
“I was asked inside the CBI office to leave (AAP), or else such cases will keep getting registered against me. I was told ‘Satyendar Jain ke upar konse sachhe cases hain?’…I said I won’t leave AAP for BJP. They said they’ll make me CM,” he alleged.

The CBI later issued a statement disputing Sisodia’s claims, claiming that he had only been looked at in light of the FIR and the material gathered thus far in the course of the probe.
Sambit Patra, a BJP spokesperson, attacked the Deputy CM’s statement yesterday (Tuesday), calling it “Operation Non-cooperation” and “Jashn-e-Bhrashtachar” from Sisodia and other AAP leaders who were “trying to turn vice into success.”

Jailed conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar has released another letter stating that he is ready to be hanged if any of his issues raised to Delhi L-G turns out to be wrong. Earlier, he wrote to L-G alleging being threatened by Aam Admi Party (AAP) leader Satyendra Jain and ex-Tihar director General (DG). Conman Sukesh who is facing various charges of corruption under the Prevention of Corruption Act and Money Laundering Act challenged Delhi CM to resign and retire from politics.

“(Delhi CM) Kejriwal Ji, if any of my raised issues to Delhi LG turn out to be wrong as you and your associates said, I am ready to be hanged. But if the complaint is proven true, you will resign and retire from politics for good.” Sukesh wrote in his letter. He also claimed to have been asked to pay money to the party for Punjab and Goa election.

“I kept quiet and ignored everything but due to your constant threats and pressure through the Jail administration and Mr Jain asking me to give funds during Punjab and Goa polls, brazenly even though I was undergoing investigation,” Sukesh wrote.

However refuting to the AAP’s allegations that he was lying, Sukesh Chandrasekar said if he was lying then why the jail administration was pressurising him or being coerced to withdraw his earlier complaint? “Kejriwalji why was Mr Jain constantly asking me to withdraw complaint filed in HC against former DG Sandeep Goel and the Jail administration? Why was I constantly threatened apart from asking me to give more funds for your election Campaigns? Why afraid of enquiry? What are you scared off if you are truthfull?,” he said in his letter.

Earlier on Monday he wrote a letter to L-G Vinai Kumar Saxena, requesting CBI probe against Aam Aadmi Party.

As Sisodia alleges deal with thug, BJP leader makes new AAP-conman claim

In the midst of a growing issue surrounding Sukesh Chandrashekhar, Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia increased his criticism of the BJP on Saturday, one day after the dates for civic body elections were released.

Sukesh Chandrashekhar, who is currently imprisoned in connection with a case of fraud involving 200 crore rupees, has been at the centre of a fresh BJP-AAP stalemate in Delhi as a result of allegations linking him to Delhi minister Satyendar Jain.

In a tweet, the Delhi Deputy Chief Minister said that the BJP “was scared ahead of the assembly elections in Gujarat and the civic polls in Delhi.” The Aam Aadmi Party has been making similar comments in the recent months.

“Fearing a catastrophic defeat in MCD (Municipal Corporation of Delhi) and Gujarat, (the) BJP has locked a deal with a thug lodged in Tihar – he will make absurd allegations against (Arvind) Kejriwal ji everyday and in return. the BJP will help him in his case,” Sisodia tweeted in Hindi – without naming Sukesh Chandrashekar – but did not stop there. “I have heard that JP Nadda ji will get him inducted into the BJP next,” the AAP number 2 further added.

In the past, Sisodia, who is an accused in the Delhi excise policy case, has asserted that the BJP, which sought to unseat the AAP administration in the nation’s capital, had given him an offer to join.

Meanwhile, his comments came as Sukesh was reported to have written to his lawyer, claiming that “Delhi Minister Satyendar Jain and former top Tihar prison official are threatening me after my complaint to Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor went public”.

“Kejriwal Ji why did you force me to bring 20-30 individuals to contribute ₹500 crore to the party in return of seats,” read the purported letter, a copy of which was shared by news agency ANI. Further details on this could not be independently verified.

“Sukesh said that he gave ₹50 crores, at the behest of Kailash Gehlot’s farm house @ArvindKejriwal. @SatyendarJain talked on the phone. Now after all this the character and truth of @AamAadmiParty has been revealed,” Delhi BJP leader Rajiv Babbar wrote in Hindi in tweet.
