In the video, the clip is of SS Rajamouli and his wife, Rama, grooving to the tune ‘Lunchkostava’ from the movie ‘Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammai’. Social media users loved this couple’s dance moves that had a lot of enthusiasm and energy.

Known for his composed public persona, the dance performance of Rajamouli surprised many fans. Fans of the blockbuster film “RRR” were thrilled to discover unseen footage of Ram Charan in the newly released documentary “Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli”. Directed by the acclaimed filmmaker SS Rajamouli, “RRR” was a massive hit in theaters in 2022 and gained even more popularity after its release on Netflix.

‘RRR’ Director, SS Rajamouli Urges Voters To Exercise Their Right To Vote

Tollywood’s top actors were out casting their votes on Monday in Hyderabad, as the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections are going on in Telangana, which is among the nine states and one Union Territory where voting was held. Including SS Rajamouli, NTR Jr., Allu Arjun and K. Chiranjeevi.

A few hours after, RRR star NTR Jr. casted his vote, the RRR Director SS Rajamouli was seen with his son SS Karthikey near the pooling booth.

The father-son duo exercised their vote, urging citizens to actively participate in the elections.

‘Show the country that we are responsible and we do care. Please come out and vote’. Rajamouli told the media.

His son SS Karthikeya also requested the public to complete their voting duties.

“I request everyone to come and exercise your vote. It is our responsibility and we need to fulfill that…, said Karthikeya.

Earlier this morning, actor Allu Arjun also spoke with mediapersons after casting his vote.

“It’s a very responsible day for us as all of us, for the citizens of this country. I know its quite hot but let’s put that little effort because today is the most crucial day for next five years of our lives. Please cast your vote and vote responsibly,” he said. The ‘Pushpa’ star also stated that he is not politically aligned with any party.”There will be a huge voter turnout, as more and more people are coming out to vote…I would like to tell, I am not politically aligned with any party. I am neutral to all parties,” the actor said. Polling began at 7 am on Monday across 17 seats in Telangana in the fourth of the seven-phase Lok Sabha elections. The multi-dimensional battle is taking place between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), Congress and the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM). Polling for all 175 seats of the State Legislative Assembly of Andhra Pradesh and 28 seats of the State Legislative Assembly of Odisha also started simultaneously with the Lok Sabha polls. Of the 96 Lok Sabha seats, 25 are from Andhra Pradesh, 17 from Telangana, 13 from Uttar Pradesh, 11 from Maharashtra, eight each from Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal, five from Bihar, four each from Jharkhand and Odisha, and one from Jammu and Kashmir. According to the poll body, a total of 4,264 nominations were filed for 96 parliamentary constituencies.

Alia Bhatt recalls SS Rajamouli’s career advice, opens up on choosing diverse roles

Alia Bhatt worked with SS Rajamouli in ‘RRR’, one of the biggest hits of 2022. The film saw her share screen space with Ram Charan and Jr NTR and emerged as a global sensation. During a recent summit, Alia opened up about how she once received some valuable advice from the ace filmmaker.

“I asked SS Rajamouli what kind of films I should choose because I’m always torn. He said, whatever you choose, just do it with love. Because even if the film is not good, the audience will see love in your eyes for what you do, and they will connect with that. Because there is nothing greater than love in this world,” added the ‘Darlings’ star.

Alia also said that she tries to ‘mix it up’ while selecting roles as the audience has a short attention span. The actress further indicated that her approach to choosing roles has changed quite significantly over the years.

“I’ve also been very lucky. I’m not just blaming everything on luck, but it is a massive factor. Initially, I remember, I was choosing what was coming to me. They (the films) just happened to be different to one another. But genuinely, if I want to pinpoint it, I really believe what you give is what you get. I have a short attention span and I get bored easily. I need to mix it up and keep myself entertained.”, she added.

Alia, meanwhile, is going through a busy phase on the work front. She debuted in Hollywood with ‘Heart of Stone’, starring Gal Gadot. She was also seen in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, which was directed by Karan Johar. She will soon be seen in ‘Jigra’, directed by Vasan Bala. It is produced by and features her in the lead.

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli is presenting a movie named Made In India that chronicles Indian cinema. It is being directed by Nitin Kakkar and produced by Varun Gupta and SS Karthikeya. Rajamouli took to his Instagram handle and officially announced Made In India along with a note that reads: “When I first heard the narration, it moved me emotionally like nothing else. Making a biopic is tough in itself, but conceiving one about the FATHER OF INDIAN CINEMA is even more challenging. Our boys are ready and up for it..:) With immense pride, Presenting MADE IN INDIA…”

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli took to his official Twitter handle to share a throwback picture of himself along with Ray Stevenson from the sets of RRR as he mourned the loss of Ray Stevenson.

The filmmaker wrote, “Shocking… Just can’t believe this news. Ray brought in so much energy and vibrancy with him to the sets. It was infectious. Working with him was pure joy. My prayers are with his family. May his soul rest in peace.”

In the picture, they are seen having a fun conversation on the set between the shots. Ray Stevenson is seen dressed as his character in the film. The reports of his untimely demise were confirmed by his publicist. Ray Stevenson was 58 and the cause of his death is still uncertain.

The actor’s last completed film was ‘Accident Man: Hitman’s Holiday’, co-starring Scott Adkins. Stevenson was also featured in all 22 episodes of HBO and BBC’s Rome. The actor had recently signed up to replace Kevin Spacey in 1242: Gateway to the West, where he would have played the role of a Hungarian priest standing up against the Mongol army.

RRR team is on cloud nine as the film’s track ‘Naatu Naatu’ made India proud at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards stage after which Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the team of RRR on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the movie ‘RRR’ which is directed by filmmaker SS Rajamouli won the Best Original song trophy for its song ‘Naatu Naatu’.

Earlier in December ‘RRR’ song Naatu Naatu also made it to the 95th Oscars for Best Original Song and with other 14 songs it competes.

RRR song Naatu Naatu wins Golden Globe Award for best original song

RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli, made history by being the first Indian film to win a Golden Globe.

At the ongoing ceremony for Naatu Naatu, RRR was named Best Original Song. The song’s lyrics were written by Kala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj, and its music was created by MM Keeravaani.
The song entered the competition as the underdog because Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and director-singer Guillermo del Toro were also in the race. The crowd-pleasing action-drama-musical “RRR” has surpassed cult status to garner serious awards attention, although interest in the film has increased in recent weeks.

The Golden Globe was picked up by composer-songwriter M.M. Keeravani, who thanked his lyricists, arranger, family and director-writer S.S. Rajamouli. The song’s Globes win increases anticipation that “Naatu” will become the rare song by Indian composers to get an Oscar nomination later this month; it already made the Academy’s 15-song shortlist.

ALIA BEGINS SHOOTING FOR RAJAMOULI’S ‘RRR’

MUMBAI: Actress Alia Bhatt on Monday began shooting for her upcoming multilingual multi-starrer RRR, directed by S.S. Rajamouli.

The filmmaker on Monday announced Alia joining the shoot via a twitter post. It reads: “A very warm welcome to our dearest #Sita, the supremely talented and beautiful @Aliaa08 on to the sets of #RRRMovie! #AliaBhatt.”

In the film, Alia will play a character called Sita. The film has Telugu stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR in central roles. Actor Ajay Devgn is also a part of the cast.

Alia will also be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s action fantasy drama Brahmastra, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor, Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan and Telugu superstar Nagarjuna.

The actress also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi coming up.
