While no group claimed responsibility, TTP splinter factions opposing girls’ education are suspected. Over 450 schools have been destroyed in similar attacks across the province in the past decade.
</excerpt>

Unknown attackers exploded a government high school in northwestern Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province early Friday, local police confirmed. The explosion was in Akbari village, which is under the jurisdiction of the Gul Imam police station in Tank district. Police sources said that the blast destroyed several rooms in the school.

No one has taken responsibility for the attack so far. The security officials, however, note that splinter groups of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), who are still active in the Tank district, are known to be anti-girls’ education and have a history of attacking schools.

The schools’ destruction is not a new phenomenon in the region. Local NGOs have said that over 450 schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been destroyed by such attacks in the last decade. These attacks have compelled hundreds of thousands of students to drop out or to study in makeshift classrooms or alongside the ruins of bombed-out school buildings.

Between 2007 and 2019, assaults on girls’ schools were particularly common in the Swat Valley and other parts of the northwest that had been under the control of the Pakistani Taliban of the former tribal districts. The most notorious attack was in 2012, when Malala Yousafzai, an adolescent girl who promoted education, was attacked by militants. Malala survived and went on to become a world icon for girls’ education as well as a Nobel Peace Prize winner.

</excerpt>

A private school in Ghoti, Igatpuri taluka, Nashik, has landed in controversy after a surprise bag inspection revealed shocking contents in students’ backpacks. The school principal and staff were left stunned after they found knives, brass knuckles, condoms, playing cards, bicycle chains, and even suspected narcotics during the search.

The incident came to light after X user Raj Maji posted a video showing the confiscated items laid out on a table. “A shocking incident has come to light in Nashik, Maharashtra. In a private school in Ghoti, Igatpuri taluka, teachers found alarming items in students’ bags, including knives, playing cards, condoms, and bicycle chains,” the user wrote.

The surprise inspection was prompted after teachers disciplined several students for sporting unusual hairstyles. Suspecting deeper issues, the staff decided to inspect school bags, which led to this unsettling discovery. According to Lokmat Times, the items were recovered from Class 8 and 9 students.

“The teachers’ vigilance brought the issue to light,” Raj Maji added, “but the presence of such items in students’ bags raises concerns about their safety and well-being.”

Some teachers also suspected that a few students were under the influence of drugs and might have consumed narcotic substances on school premises. The matter was immediately reported to the police, and an investigation is currently underway.

This incident has sparked concern among parents, education authorities, and the public, raising questions about supervision, peer influence, and the growing need for counseling and stricter monitoring in schools.

Critics argue these translations erase cultural identity and are unnecessary.
</excerpt>

A forwarded message from a user claimed English-medium school teachers share it with the students has sparked a heated debate on Reddit. The forwarded message, titled “Colonial slave mentality is crazy in English medium schools,” went viral by showing awkward English translations of popular Indian dishes. Among the weird translations were samosa as “Rissole,” gulab jamun as “Rose Water Berry,” gol gappa as “Waterball,” and jalebi as “Funnel Cake.” Such strange terms were fast to gain reactions online, where users questioned their accuracy and relevance.

Social media sites are filled with snide comments branding these translations unnecessary and culturally insensitive. Examples are dosa – a “Crispy Rice Pancake,” bhel puri – “Puffed Rice,” and kaju katli – “Cashew Nut Fudge.” People said Indian food items should continue to have the same names at English medium schools, as such names carry meaning and are acknowledged across the globe.

Colonial slave mentality is crazy in English medium schools.

One of the users quipped, “Even foreigners don’t use these names for Indian dishes lol. Like no foreigner will ever call Gulab Jamun ‘Rose Water Berry,’ they simply mispronounce it as ‘Gulag Jaymoon’ or something.” Another user attacked the translation, saying, “What’s wrong with this thread, are these people not seeing the problem? The problem isn’t using English, the problem is the low-quality literal translation of Indian food that foreigners will laugh at. You are getting mob lynched for saying ‘waterballs’ instead of pani puri, and I HOPE you get mob lynched.

Some found the situation funny, while others called for schools to avoid such practices and preserve the authenticity of Indian cuisine and its cultural heritage. One user said that this thread was having a problem. These people were not seeing the problem. The problem is not when you are using English. The problem is that low-quality literal translation of Indian food items which the foreigners will laugh at. You are getting mob lynched for saying ‘waterballs’ instead of pani puri and I HOPE you get mob lynched, I am going to make your family vanish if you use any of these terms while speaking English

Another user said, “Exactly!!! The issue is not speaking English, it’s erasing your own culture and history to appear white/Western. Even the Japanese/Italian speak English, but not one Japanese/Italian will call sushi rice balls with fish or pizza a bread with vegetable toppings.” Another user responded with bewilderment, stating, “The food items mentioned here originated in India/South Asia, so why is there a need for translations? Like one doesn’t translate a French food item—just use the original term.”

This experience will bring in a mix of nostalgia and discovery of culture.

Day as a Japanese Student

The programme, conducted entirely in English, replicates the quintessential Japanese school day, often depicted in popular TV shows. For 30,000 yen (approximately ₹17,000), participants don uniforms, attend classes, and engage in activities reflective of Japan’s unique school culture.

Guests can wear either the traditional school uniform or a suit to really become a student. Then, they are placed in a classroom of 30 participants. The day begins with lessons led by a teacher, which include such topics as calligraphy, disaster drills, emergency skills, and traditional Japanese dances.

Fun and Realistic Additions

To help children voice their concerns, the Hardoi police installed pink complaint boxes in schools. Students were encouraged to submit anonymous complaints about issues they were facing at school. Every Tuesday, police officers visited the schools to open the boxes and resolve the complaints.

The Hardoi Police shared on X, “In compliance with the orders of Mr. Superintendent of Police, a total of 12 complaint letters were received in the pink complaint boxes in November, which were resolved promptly.” The complaints included issues such as bullying on the school bus, fights with friends, and problems with teachers.

The police promptly intervened and met with the students, offering resolutions and mediating disputes. They ensured both sides of the story were heard and helped to resolve the issues amicably.

The initiative received praise from internet users, with many admiring the UP police for their efforts to strengthen community bonds at the grassroots level. “It’s great to see them stretching their potential and doing tasks exceeding their abilities,” one user commented.

</excerpt>

A Jaipur man’s frustration over the rising cost of education has struck a chord with thousands of parents across the country. Rishabh Jain, an IIT Bombay alumnus and entrepreneur, took to social media to highlight how private schools are becoming increasingly unaffordable for middle-class families. His post, shared on X, has garnered over 1.5 million views and ignited a heated discussion about the growing financial burden of quality education.

₹4 Lakh Annual Fee for Grade 1?

Jain shared his experience of searching for a school for his daughter, only to be shocked by the high fees charged by reputed institutions in Jaipur. He revealed that one of the schools he considered required parents to pay ₹4.27 lakh annually for Grade 1. According to Jain, similar fee structures are prevalent among other top schools in the city.

In his post, he argued that even families earning ₹20 lakh per annum struggle to meet these expenses due to high taxes and essential living costs. “At ₹20L income, you fall into the highest 30%+ CESS tax bracket. After taxes, food, clothing, rent or EMIs, and savings, paying such school fees becomes unfeasible,” he wrote.

Social Media Reactions

The post sparked mixed reactions on social media. Many parents agreed with Jain, calling the rising cost of private education “unrealistic” and “outrageous.” One user remarked, “It feels like education is becoming a luxury, not a necessity.”

However, others accused Jain of exaggeration. “You’ve likely picked the costliest school in the city to make your point,” commented one user. Jain responded, “It may seem exaggerated, but it’s not. Settle in a big city and try it for yourself.”

Another commenter suggested, “Think of the money spent on private education as part of taxes. In many high-tax countries, public education covers quality schooling.”

A Growing Concern

The debate highlights the broader issue of affordability in private education across India, where middle-class families often find themselves priced out of reputed schools. Jain’s post has brought attention to the financial strain on parents, sparking calls for reforms in the education sector to make quality learning accessible to all.

</excerpt>

Gauri Tripathi, a remarkable woman from Bihar’s Bhojpur district, defies gender expectations by driving a passenger vehicle daily. For 10 kilometers each day, she ensures school children are safely transported to school and back home. Beyond just transporting students, she also serves other passengers on her route, challenging traditional norms in a field dominated by men. Gauri’s bold actions stand as a symbol of women’s empowerment, demonstrating resilience and equality in the face of societal expectations.

Since 2016, Gauri has been running RR Shiksha Niketan, a private school in Kasap village, Bihar, which caters to underprivileged children, many of whom come from distant areas. Initially, she had arranged for a driver to transport the children. However, after an incident in which the driver, intoxicated, crashed the vehicle into a pole—thankfully without injuring any children—Gauri took matters into her own hands. This accident served as a wake-up call, leading her to decide that she would learn to drive herself to ensure the safety of the children.

With determination, Gauri began driving the school vehicle, despite the stares she received from onlookers. Over time, her driving became an accepted part of the community, and today, she confidently drives students every day. Gauri’s journey serves as an inspiration to women, proving that no task is too small or too large when approached with commitment and self-belief. She continues to show that with determination, anyone can break barriers and make a meaningful impact.

</excerpt>

In a bold move to reduce academic pressure on students, a secondary school in the Netherlands has decided to block parental access to student grades. This policy, introduced by Jordan – Montessori Lyceum Utrecht, aims to allow students a month-long break from parental scrutiny, which is widely expected to ease their stress levels. Reports from The Guardian suggest that the policy is largely supported, with 95% of parents backing the proposal. Furthermore, the parents’ council is advocating for a 10-week period without grade-sharing access.

Teacher’s Study Highlights Stress from Grade App Notifications

Economics teacher Stijn Uittenbogaard conducted a study that found the app, which notifies parents of each new grade, heightened student stress. Uittenbogaard’s research, which included nearly half of the student body, revealed that children with parents who frequently checked their grades rated their stress at an average of 2.7 out of 5. In contrast, students with parents who rarely monitored the app reported a lower stress level of 2.

“This constant pressure on students to perform at high levels is a modern development. In my school days, reports were shared only four times a year,” said Uittenbogaard. “Now, parents get push notifications for every new grade, which puts unnecessary pressure on kids to explain each result as soon as they come home.”

A Push Towards Life Skills Over Performance

Rector Geert Looyschelder approved the suspension, citing that the Dutch school system’s emphasis on grades was impairing students’ life skills, like empathy and adaptability. “Students have the right to make mistakes; that’s fundamental to learning,” he emphasized.

Meanwhile, Lobke Vlaming, director of a national parents’ association, noted that feedback on the initiative has been positive. Parents appreciate the privacy considerations and reduction in pressure on students. “While it’s important that parents remain informed, they do not need access to every grade,” she said.

</excerpt>

Let’s imagine a world where robots perform routine tasks, AI makes critical decisions, and innovative ideas shape daily life. It’s not science fiction; it’s the future coming alive into our reality. To enable our children for this exciting, technical world, they are going to require some vital skills. Here’s a look in the direction of five such essential skills for future careers and how Indian schools can help nurture these abilities:

AL and ML

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning resonate through every aspect of human civilization, from health care to financial operations; the AI market, which was estimated at about $196.63 billion in 2023, will expand to $1.81 trillion by the year 2030. To be adept in these fields, a student must develop data analysis, algorithms, and programming skills. Schools can include project work or challenges using real-world data to familiarise the students with practical work related to AI and ML. In this way, they can be prepared for any opportunity that may come along in these fast-changing fields.

Innovation and Creativity

Innovation and creativity stand out as very important in the dynamically changing world of technology. The World Economic Forum provides that by the year 2025, creativity will be listed in the top three required skills. While acquiring these skills, students have to learn how to look at the problem from different angles and create something unique. An Innovation Base Course and Innovation Lab in School would enable them to be the innovative thinkers of tomorrow by exploring and implementing ideas.

Communication

The need for communication skills has grown in today’s interconnected world. Also, the National Association of Colleges and Employers says that 73.4% of employers are looking for strong communicators. Effective articulation of ideas, collaboration of teams, and relationship management are significant features of successful people in any field. Therefore, Indian schools can give more importance to communication by incorporating group projects, presentations, and public speaking into the curriculum. By this, students will be able to inculcate the art of presenting their viewpoints in clear and confident terms, which again is a distinguishing feature at the workplace.

Robotics and Automation

Robotics and automation are fields of great potential today. The Robotics market is likely to grow at an annual growth of 9.94%, according to Statista, between 2024 and 2028, which will see the projected market volume reach US$67.36 bn in 2028. Students who plan to have successful careers in robotics will be required to have skills in mechanical design, programming, and system integration. The use of robotics and Innovation Experiments, and simulation software in schools, coupled with competitions and practical projects, can serve to make learning about robotics at school fun.

Research

Research skills are another cornerstone of future success, in the times when information is plentiful but critical thinking is rare. It involves locating, evaluating, and synthesizing information and is an essential ingredient in innovation and problem-solving. Research at Indian schools can be encouraged by introducing inquiry-based learning in which students are made to formulate questions, collect data, and draw conclusions. This will provide a generation of thinkers who are not mere consumers of information but movers in creating knowledge.

All in all, it is a fact in today’s world that fundamental capabilities in AI, creativity, embedded systems, robotics, and telecommunications will be crucial in training our children for the future. As a result, it can be said that their education must be supplemented with practical skill sets in these areas.

</excerpt>

In today’s digital age, students are true natives of the online world. With a simple click, they gain access to a vast expanse of information, transforming their screens into windows to the global knowledge base. This access is set to expand even further with the rapid advancements in technology, including AI, AR, and VR. These tools are revolutionizing education, creating new avenues for learning that were once unimaginable.

However, this digital transformation is not without its challenges. The seamless integration of technology into education brings with it a host of complexities. Despite the incredible opportunities offered by these tools, reliance on technology alone can be insufficient and requires a balanced approach. Teachers are at the heart of this balance. Their role is crucial in helping students navigate their digital experiences constructively.

It’s not just about using technology effectively but also about understanding the emotional and behavioral implications of its use. Building a bridge of trust and communication between teachers and students is essential as we advance technologically. Instilling core values and ethics in students remains a priority. Cyber etiquette, as an extension of traditional values, plays a significant role here. Practices such as respecting privacy, seeking consent, and honoring permissions are fundamental. As we weave technology into the fabric of everyday learning, it’s vital to educate and train teachers on how to foster appropriate digital behavior.

The need for teacher upskilling has never been more pressing. Educators must be adept not only in the latest technologies but also in managing the accompanying challenges. Upskilling is not just about keeping up with tech trends but also about equipping teachers to handle the emotional and behavioral dynamics that come with a digital classroom.
Teachers today are not just imparting knowledge; they are creating environments that encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. They are co-learning with their students, embracing technology to enhance learning experiences. This shift demands continuous professional development (CPD) to stay relevant and effective. At Birla Open Minds Education Pvt Ltd, we recognize this need and are committed to addressing it. Through our LearnLeap initiative, we offer a comprehensive suite of teacher training programs, ranging from Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) to leadership training for principals. Our goal is to create an ecosystem where educators can continuously upskill and adapt to the evolving educational landscape.

The National Education Policy (NEP) and National Credit Framework (NCrF) emphasize the importance of ongoing teacher training. These frameworks align with the Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4), which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. As we strive to meet these goals, teachers remain pivotal in enhancing student outcomes and advancing the quality of education.
As educators, our role is evolving. We must embrace these changes and ensure that we are well-prepared to guide our students through their educational journey. By focusing on continuous upskilling and adapting to technological advancements, we can create a learning environment that is both innovative and supportive. This approach will ultimately contribute to the achievement of SDG4 and the advancement of education across the globe.

The incident came to light when District Magistrate Rajendra Pansiya conducted a random check at the school. During the inspection, the District Magistrate discovered numerous mistakes in the students’ notebooks.

Upon further investigation, it was revealed through a feature on the teacher Priyam Goyal’s phone that he had spent nearly two hours of the five and a half school hours playing Candy Crush. Additionally, Goyal had used his phone for personal calls and social media for significant periods during school hours.

Social Media Reactions

The footage has infuriated many social media users, who have condemned the manner in which the principal was treated. Comments have highlighted concerns about the commodification of education and the humiliation of school administrators:

One user stated, “Schools have become places of business, and principals are humiliated. This is what happens when education becomes a commodity.”

Another commented, “One should question motives, greed and integrity that situations are brought to this spot but those that should teach morality ethics values and educate”.

Administrative Response

Reports indicate that the school’s management, overseen by the Diocese of Lucknow (Church of North India), is involved in this incident. Supporters of Bishop Morris Edgar Dan, reportedly led by a lawyer, were seen in the video forcefully displacing the current principal, Parul Solomon. Following the incident, Solomon filed a complaint at the Colonelganj police station, alleging robbery, intimidation, and misconduct against Bishop Morris Edgar Dan and others.

The incident at Bishop Johnson Girls School has raised serious questions about the administration and treatment of educational staff. Many are calling for a thorough investigation and appropriate action against those responsible for the controversial leadership change

</excerpt>

Writing an A+ college essay requires careful planning, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of the assignment. Start by thoroughly analyzing the essay prompt to grasp its nuances. Develop a clear thesis statement that encapsulates your main argument or perspective. Structure your essay with a compelling introduction, well-organized body paragraphs, and a strong conclusion. Be concise, yet articulate, and showcase your critical thinking skills. Revise and edit your work to eliminate errors and refine your language. Additionally, seek feedback from peers or mentors to gain valuable insights. By combining these elements, you’ll craft an A+ college essay that reflects both your intellect and writing prowess. Learn how to create an excellent essay for high school, college, and other purposes by continuing to read below!

Conduct some initial investigation

When embarking on your academic journey, it is imperative to conduct some initial investigation before delving into your essay writing process. At our platform, we understand the significance of thorough research, ensuring a comprehensive and insightful approach to your assignments. Our expert writers are committed to providing plagiarism-free essay help, guaranteeing original and meticulously crafted content tailored to your specific requirements. With a focus on quality and academic integrity, our services at allessaywriter aim to empower you with the tools needed for success in your scholarly endeavors.

Compose a thesis statement

The argument your essay is attempting to convey is known as a “thesis statement.” It is sometimes referred to as your “topic sentence” and states your essay’s subject. It must be written before you write anything else in your essay because it will be supported by everything else.

Whatever you name it, it’s an essential phase in the composition process because it serves as the framework for the entire essay. A well-written thesis example encapsulates your subject and the stance you will adopt.

Whichever it is, your thesis statement needs to be precise, succinct, and unequivocal. It is a condensed version of your whole essay. Later, in the remainder of your academic dissertation, you will elaborate on these terms using citations and instances.

Create an outline for your essay

Consider writing essays as constructing a house. Creating a house wouldn’t start with creating each room independently. Rather, you would create the structure and establish the foundation first, then add the interior elements later.

Your foundation is your topic sentence. Create your framework next. It is referred to as an outline in essay writing. Before you start, you can plan out the content and purpose of your essay by creating an outline. This is how your outline ought to look:

Introduction

Thesis statement

Introduce main points

Main point 1

Sub-points

Main point 2

Sub-points

Main point 3

Sub-points

Conclusion

Restate thesis statement

Summarize main points

Of course, especially when writing research papers or academic essays, you can have as many main points and sub-points as necessary to convey your ideas. Before you start writing, this is a lot of work. But doing all of this effort up front saves confusion and trouble down the road. It functions as a kind of road map to help you stay on course while you write your essay.

Compose the Body Paragraphs.

When you entrust your academic endeavors to Allessaywriter, you’re not just choosing a service; you’re opting for excellence in every word.

Craft a Captivating Introduction

Three things ought to be mentioned in your introduction:

A hook to draw the attention of readers

The statement of your thesis

A synopsis of your primary ideas

A strong “hook” captures the reader’s interest right away.

Make a shift to your thesis statement and restate your primary ideas. This tells the reader what to expect and establishes the direction for your writing.

Compose a Conclusion That Will Get Applause.

Your conclusion must accomplish three tasks:

Restate your main point.

Condense your primary arguments.

Conclude with a powerful assertion.

Similar to the introduction, your conclusion should remind the reader of your topic statement and the ways in which the major parts of your argument support it. If you believe that a condensed version of your supporting arguments will be useful to readers who are “scanner” types, then present it.

Lastly, make a powerful statement to wow the reader as you close.

Edit the entire text

“Rewriting is the only true writing,” as Ernest Hemingway once stated. This implies that writing your first draft is not nearly as vital as modifying it. Examine your essay again after you’ve finished the first draft to see what needs to be altered.

Remember that you aren’t looking for typos and grammar mistakes at this point; that comes later and is referred to as proofreading.

Arrange Your References

Writing an essay involves several processes, one of which is formatting your research sources. In this manner, you’ll have included every source and avoid having to start over when structuring your in-text reference.

Make sure you format your sources according to the appropriate style guide. The majority of liberal arts courses, such as English classes in high school and college, call for MLA formatting; scientific courses, such as psychology, typically utilize APA formatting.

Check for errors

Proofreading is important for all writing, whether it’s a business email or the résumé for your ideal job. Small grammatical errors can give the impression that an otherwise excellent work is sloppy and incomplete.

Spellcheckers can help you catch some spelling and grammar mistakes, but not all of them. Even so, proofread your essay thoroughly to ensure that all typical spelling and grammar faults are caught. Ask a friend, roommate, or relative to reread it once more after that.

Parting thoughts,

Hopefully, this post has discussed the main ideas and procedures for writing an essay in a way that will enable you to approach the essay writing process and subject with confidence, regardless of whether you’re asking for a scholarship or hoping for a first-class grade.

We sincerely hope that our essay writing tips were clear and useful to you! Thank you for reading, and please leave us with any queries or more essay writing advice in the comments section below.

</excerpt>

A recent study found that a diet that is designed to prevent cognitive decline in adults may also help preadolescent children to maintain better focus in school. Adolescents tend to pay less attention in school because of various reasons, technology is one of them. However, this study may help in forming new nutritional ideas that focus on improving children’s cognitive abilities.

Two dietary patterns were the subject of the new study. The MIND (Mediterranean-DASH Intervention for Neurodegenerative Delay) diet is a combination of the Mediterranean diet with healthy DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension). It also includes the Healthy Eating Index of 2015 which is based on dietary guidelines for Americans.

The MIND diet lays focus on fresh fruits and vegetables, along with peas, lentils and beans. However, it may also include specific recommended food for maintaining brain health, such as leafy green vegetables and berries.

This new study used data on the grounds of a previous cross-sectional study which was led by Naiman Khan, a professor of Kinesiology and Community Health. The study had 85 participants, who range from 7-11 years old and completed a seven-day diet record. From this research, HEI 2015 and MIND diet scores were evaluated.

Although the MIND diet showed positive effects on adults and preadolescents, very few experiments are conducted on children. Therefore, young children, including toddlers and preschoolers, are the next focus of the researchers to determine whether any developmental factor is involved in the children or is same as the adult and preadolescent population.

</excerpt>

Eight school children and a guard were killed in central Belgrade on Wednesday after a teenage boy opened fire in a school. Six more children and a teacher were rushed to the hospital after receiving injuries.

Police identified the shooter by his initials, K.K., and said that he got his father’s gun and fired from it. The police further added that the culprit was born in 2009, and they arrested him.

Police received information about the tragic incident at the school around 8:40 am.

Local media footage from the site showed that there was disturbance outside the school as police removed the suspect, whose head was covered as cops brought him to a car parked in the street.

Mass shootings are incredibly uncommon in Serbia and the larger Balkan region, and none have been reported in schools recently. In the most recent mass shooting, a veteran of the Balkan wars murdered 13 people in a village in the centre of Serbia in 2013.

But experts have repeatedly expressed concern about the quantity of weapons that the 1990s wars left behind in the nation. They also point out that such eruptions could be brought on by the continuous economic suffering as well as the decades-long instability brought on by the wars.

Milan Milosevic said that his daughter was in history class when the shooting incident occurred. He ran when he heard the shooting.

He went on to say that “I asked where my child was, but no one answered anything.” Then found her outside the school.

Indian Olympic Association (IOA) president PT Usha on Saturday broke down in front of the media alleging that illegal construction work was being carried out in the compound of her Usha School of Athletics in Kerala. She also said that the work was stopped after a complaint to the police. While talking to the media Usha stated that:

“Some people barged into the compound of Usha School of Athletics and began construction work. When management confronted them, they misbehaved. They claimed that they had permission from Panangad panchayat, we complained to the police and work was stopped.”

She also said that inmates at the Usha School of Athletics had been facing such harassment and security issues for some time and it has intensified after she became a Member of the Upper House. Notably, Usha had been nominated to the Rajya Sabha by the BJP in July 2022.
She also highlighted that her prime concern is the safety of girls studying there which is at stake due to the lack of fence or boundary. In addition to this she alleged that drug addicts and couples barge into the compound at night and dump waste into the drainage and urged Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to resolve the issue. As per the website Usha School of Athletics is dedicated to “advancing promotion and practice of sports at possible levels with state-of-the-art facilities in athletic skill development.”
