Alia Bhatt worked with SS Rajamouli in ‘RRR’, one of the biggest hits of 2022. The film saw her share screen space with Ram Charan and Jr NTR and emerged as a global sensation. During a recent summit, Alia opened up about how she once received some valuable advice from the ace filmmaker.

“I asked SS Rajamouli what kind of films I should choose because I’m always torn. He said, whatever you choose, just do it with love. Because even if the film is not good, the audience will see love in your eyes for what you do, and they will connect with that. Because there is nothing greater than love in this world,” added the ‘Darlings’ star.

Alia also said that she tries to ‘mix it up’ while selecting roles as the audience has a short attention span. The actress further indicated that her approach to choosing roles has changed quite significantly over the years.

“I’ve also been very lucky. I’m not just blaming everything on luck, but it is a massive factor. Initially, I remember, I was choosing what was coming to me. Alia, meanwhile, is going through a busy phase on the work front. She debuted in Hollywood with ‘Heart of Stone’, starring Gal Gadot. Actor Jr NTR won Best Actor award at South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) for his powerful performance in ‘RRR’.

The award ceremony took place in Dubai on Friday night.

While receiving the trophy, Jr NTR expressed gratitude to his fans and whole ‘RRR’ team.
He said, “I would love to thank my co-star, my brother, my friend Charan for standing beside me as a pillar of support for RRR. Last but not least I would love to thank all my fans. I bow down to my fans who have always been with me through my ups and downs.

You have been my pillar of support at all times. You people shed a tear along with me whenever I was in pain and smiled in unison with me when I am happy”.

‘RRR’ is a fictional story based on the lives of two Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Ram Charan and Jr NTR played lead roles, respectively. The film collected over Rs 1,200 crore worldwide. Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran also starred in the film directed by SS Rajamouli.

In the coming months, Jr NTR will be seen headlining Telugu drama ‘Devara’, which will also feature Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor.

RRR’s sequel has been officially confirmed. The cast has not been revealed. However, in the film, Ram Charan and Jr NTR were seen in the lead role. Taking to Twitter, Manobala Vijayabalan writes, “#RRRMovie sequel CONFIRMED. “We are planning to make a sequel of #RamCharan – #NTR’s #RRR. It will be in Hollywood Standards. The movie will either be directed by SS Rajamouli or someone under SSR supervision. Mahabaratham : The dream project of SS Rajamouli will commence very soon after the completion of Mahesh Babu’s jungle adventure film.”- Vijayendra Prasad.”

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli took to his official Twitter handle to share a throwback picture of himself along with Ray Stevenson from the sets of RRR as he mourned the loss of Ray Stevenson.

The filmmaker wrote, “Shocking… Just can’t believe this news. Ray brought in so much energy and vibrancy with him to the sets. It was infectious. Working with him was pure joy. My prayers are with his family. May his soul rest in peace.”

Many Twitter users point out that RRR was a Telugu language film and not a Bollywood film. ‘RC 15’: Ram Charan and Shankar’s blockbuster

After the whooping success of ‘RRR’, Mega Power Star Ram Charan is set to put screens ablaze across Indian theatres with his next project. Ram Charan has been flooded with offers after his major success of ‘RRR’, but he may be poised to even greater success by collaboration with Shankar for the next working titled film ‘RC 15’.

The production of RC 15 is in full swing as the cast and unit were spotted shooting for the project in Kurnool. RC 15 is a political thriller and will be directed by Shankar Shanmugham with a whooping estimated budget of about 170 crores. The director is among the biggest filmmakers in India and is known for his visionary and grand-scale films.

While the ‘Naatu Naatu ‘song grooved national and international audience alike, Ram Charan has worked up another charm from his array of talents. The actor danced to a 80 second long dance track in a single take leaving everyone on set amazed and awestruck with his effortless dance moves and tremendous energy.

Honours and awards for the Telugu blockbuster ‘RRR’ is not stopping any soon. Now, the Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan on Thursday felicitated Golden Globes award-winning and Oscar-nominated song ‘Naatu Naatu’s composer and lyricist MM Keeravani and Chandrabose at the Republic Day function in Hyderabad.

Keeravani will receive the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honour in India, as the Government of India. Taking to Twitter, Keeravaani dropped a gratitude note, which read, “Much honoured by the civilian award from the Govt of India. Respect for my parents and all of my mentors from Kavitapu Seethanna garu to Kuppala Bulliswamy Naidu garu on this occasion.”

The news comes a day after ‘RRR’ made it to the official 95th Oscar nominations. The film’s song ‘Naatu Naatu’ has officially entered the Oscars race in the ‘Best Original Song’ category.

Earlier, ‘Naatu Naatu’ bagged the Golden Globes for the category ‘Best original Song’. The song also won the Critics’ Choice Award in the same category. The film also bagged the ‘Best Foreign Language Film’ at the Critics’ Choice Award.

Keeravaani, the composer of RRR’s upbeat music, also performed under the name MM Kreem in the Hindi film industry, predominantly from the 1990s and early 2000. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has released a list of 301 feature films eligible for Oscars and Indian films that have made the cut include Vivek Aghnihotri’s Kashmir Files, Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi , SS Rajmouli’s RRR, and Rishab Shetty’s Kantara.

In his busy schedule, actor Ram Charan takes a break and leaves for a vacation

Actor Ram Charan, who was recently seen in SS Rajmouli’s huge hit, RRR, and is currently shooting for Shankar’s yet-untitled film, left on vacation with his sisters, nieces, some close friends and his pet dog on his chartered flight on Friday.

His wife, Upasana Konidela, seems to be missing on the holiday. The destination for the vacation is still unknown.

Pictures of them having fun on a plane have surfaced on social media. Ram Charan can be seen in the pictures wearing a black tee and khaki pants with a black cap. In one of the pictures, the actor is seen posing with his niece and pet dog, Rhyme.

Meanwhile, the makers of Ram Charan’s next film with Shankar announced that actor SJ Suryah has been roped in for a key role. Ram took to Twitter to welcome Suryah on board. The project also stars Kiara Advani and marks Ram’s maiden collaboration with Shankar. Ram Charan is said to be playing an IAS officer with anger issues.

There were reports that a period set worth Rs 10 crore has been built to shoot some important flashback sequences in the movie. It is believed that a 1970s period set is currently being put up in Ramoji Film City. In this schedule, action sequences alone will be shot for 25 days.

ALIA BEGINS SHOOTING FOR RAJAMOULI’S ‘RRR’

MUMBAI: Actress Alia Bhatt on Monday began shooting for her upcoming multilingual multi-starrer RRR, directed by S.S. Rajamouli.

The filmmaker on Monday announced Alia joining the shoot via a twitter post. It reads: “A very warm welcome to our dearest #Sita, the supremely talented and beautiful @Aliaa08 on to the sets of #RRRMovie! #AliaBhatt.”

In the film, Alia will play a character called Sita. The film has Telugu stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR in central roles. Actor Ajay Devgn is also a part of the cast.

Alia will also be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s action fantasy drama Brahmastra, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor, Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan and Telugu superstar Nagarjuna.

The actress also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi coming up.
