In a social media post, Chadha issued a ‘scam alert,’ cautioning her followers to be wary of what she referred to as ‘saste (cheap) cheats’ and ‘scamsters.’

The third entry in the comedy series Fukrey is now available. On September 28, Mrigdeep Singh Lamba’s Fukrey 3 appeared in theaters alongside Vivek Agnihotri’s The Vaccine War. The movie, which also starred Pulkit Samrat, Richa Chadha, Pankaj Tripathi, and Varun Sharma, got off to a respectable start, earning Rs 8.82 crores on the first day.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh claims that Fukrey 3 earned Rs 7.81 crore on Friday and Rs 11.67 crore on Saturday, which represents a significant increase. The movie has now earned a total of Rs 28.30 crore. According to market watcher Sacnilk, Fukrey 3’s Hindi occupancy on Saturday was 28.33% overall.

The Vaccine War, directed by Vivek Agnihotri, struggled at the box office, opening to just Rs 85 lakh. The Nana Patekar-starring movie gained a little momentum on Saturday, earning Rs 1.50 crore. The movie has now earned a total of Rs 3.25 crores.

Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s production company, Excel Entertainment, is financing the film Fukrey 3. The previous installment’s star Ali Fazal makes a cameo appearance in the comedy adventure. Fukrey, the first movie in the series, was released in 2013, and Fukrey Returns followed in 2017. Fukrey 3, the third edition of the Fukrey franchise, was released in theaters on Thursday and had a strong opening weekend. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Fukrey 3 earned Rs 8.50 crore on its opening day at the box office.Fukrey 3’s box office numbers are significant given that it was released during the reign of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan.

According to Bollywood Hungama, the second installment of the Fukrey franchise, Fukrey Returns, was released in 2017 and grossed Rs 8.10 crore on its opening day. During its theatrical run, the film earned Rs 80.32 crore. The first installment, Fukrey, which was released in 2013, only made Rs 36.5 crore throughout its theatrical run.

Fukrey 3 debuted with Vivek Agnihotri’s The Vaccine War, and while the two films appeared to be competing, The Vaccine War only made Rs 1.3 crore on its first day. Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan and launched earlier this month, is still doing well at the box office, despite the fact that tickets are currently available on a ‘buy one, get one free’ basis. Jawan earned Rs 5.50 crore on its 22nd day, bringing the film’s total domestic earnings to Rs 581.43 crore.

Actor Richa Chadha has started shooting for her first international project titled ‘Aaina’ in London.

As per a statement, ‘Aaina’ is an Indo-British project where Richa will be seen playing the lead character alongside ‘Chronicles of Narnia’ fame William Moseley. The movie is going to be a drama which is based on real-life events. Excited about the project, Richa in a statement said, “I had read a couple of scripts for international projects but nothing was fitting well. When Aaina came my way, I knew this was the one and now, as it is finally happening, I am extremely thrilled. The movie has a very interesting storyline. I have manifested a strong script for my international debut and Aaina was perfect for that. The film was completely shot in the UK and they have a very different working culture than ours. So, even with a good number of years of experience in the Indian movie industry, I felt like a fresher.”

‘Ainaa’ is being helmed by director Markus Meedt, who makes his feature debut with the project.

In the coming months, Richa will also be seen in ‘Fukrey 3’. The film is all set to be released on December 1. She also has finished her other work commitment regarding the maiden project from her production house, Girls will be Girls. The movie, which is about a 16-year-old girl who shares a very difficult relationship with her mother, stars Malayalam cinema actor Kani Kusruti in the lead and also has debutant Preeti Panigrahi and Kesav Binoy Kiron in prominent roles.

“‘Girls will be Girls’ is going to be a memorable film in my life because many firsts are attached to it. It is the first film from my production house and the first film after my wedding. This is the movie that helped me evolve as an actor as well as a producer. All the cast and crew were so used to working together that it felt more like a family and we are gonna miss that,” Richa earlier said.

Actor Richa Chadha is all set to make her International debut in Indo-Brit Production ‘Aaina’ alongside British actor William Moseley.

Richa has already worked in the international film ‘Love Sonia’ which was produced by David Womark but was directed by Indian director Tabrez Nooran. The film, set between London and India, ‘Ainaa’ was officially launched and announced at the prestigious House of Lords by the makers of the film last evening where U.K. member of parliament Stuart Andrew, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State (Department for Culture, Media and Sport), alongside the lead cast, director and producers of the film.

‘Ainaa’ is being helmed by director Markus Meedt, who makes his feature debut with the project. The film is a social drama about the impact of violence caused by the war both within cultures and on human beings in the form of PTSD.

Speaking of this project, Richa said, “I’m excited to be working in a new part of the world, I like to experiment. They have put together an impressive crew of the best of talent from India and the UK. It’s truly going to be a collaborative effort to embark on a film that deals with such an important subject. We are currently in London prepping for the film with the shooting expected to commence on June 2nd. I have always strived for challenging role and this one sure is one of the most toughest parts I have taken up”.

Previously, Akshay called out Richa by sharing a screenshot of her comment. He attached his statement with the photo, which read, “Hurts to see this. Nothing ever should make us ungrateful towards our armed forces. Woh hain toh aaj hum hain.”

Among the supporters of Richa was actor Prakash Raj, who reacted to Akshay’s tweet by writing, “Didn’t expect this from you @akshaykumar..having said that @RichaChadha is more relevant to our country than you sir. #justasking.”

Richa responded on Wednesday to Lt. Gen. Upendra Dwivedi’s assertion that the Indian Army is prepared to carry out any instructions to retake Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Richa stated on her Twitter account after sharing the statement, “Galwan says hi.”

Lt. General Dwivedi made his remarks in reference to the Defense Minister’s earlier speech, in which he reaffirmed New Delhi’s determination to retake Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), promising that all refugees would regain their homes and lands.

“As far as the Indian Army is concerned, it will carry out any order given by the Government of India. Whenever such orders are given, we will always be ready for it,” said Lt General Dwivedi.
Meanwhile, Richa issued an apology statement for her tweet which caused a social media uproar and people started to slam her for allegedly insulting the army by talking about the 2020 clash between India and China.

Prakash Raj has criticised Akshay Kumar for attacking actor Richa Chadha for her tweet on the post of Indian army which was about taking back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) from Pakistan. Chadha’s tweet was about the 2020 Galwan clash, in which several Indian army soldiers were killed.

Raj wrote in the tweet, “Didn’t expect this from you, @akshaykumar… having said that @RichaChadha is more relevant to our country than you sir…” Prakash also supported her and wrote on Twitter, “Yes we stand with you @RichaChadha… we understand what you meant.”

Earlier, Akshay shared a screenshot of Richa’s comment on Twitter and wrote, “Hurts to see this. Nothing ever should make us ungrateful towards our armed forces. Woh hain toh aaj hum hain (They are there so we exist).”

Richa recently responded to Northern Army Commander Lt. After tweeting a controversial tweet over the 2020 Galwan clash Bollywood actor Richa Chadha issued an apology statement on social media on Thursday.

“Even though it can never be my intention in the least, if the 3 words which are being dragged into a controversy have offended or hurt anyone, I apologize and also say that it would sadden me if even unintentionally my words have triggered this feeling in my brothers in the Fauj of which my own Nanaji has been an illustrious part. Richa, Ali’s maiden production ‘Girls will be Girls’ hit the theatres

Kani Kusruti, a Malayalam actress, is making her Hindi film debut in Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha’s first production, “Girls Will Be Girls.”

Recently, the phrase “Girls will be Girls” hit the streets of Uttarakhand. The narrative centres on 16-year-old Mira, whose rebellious coming of age is hijacked by her mother, who never reached adulthood. The setting is a boarding school in a small town in the foothills of the Himalayas.

Debutante Shuchi Talati is helming the project.
Excited about the film, Shuchi said, ” I am overwhelmed by the process naturally and am very excited to make my first film. I feel confident about the script since I received validation due to the numerous grants our project has received. I hope I can live up to expectations. I am working with a fantastic set of actors and a great crew, so I feel grateful.”

Adding to her thoughts, actress and producer Richa said, ” I am grateful for these humble beginnings as I always wanted to get behind good quality indie films.” Shuchi and I have been friends since college, and I am happy to be a part of her journey. I am confident she will make a good feature that has huge international prospects.”

The movie is an Indo-French co-production that Pushing Buttons Studios, Crawling Angel Films, and the French company Dolce Vita Films are working together to produce.

MUMBAI: Richa Chadha on Monday dropped the first look poster of her upcoming political drama ‘Madam Chief Minister’. The Subhash Kapoor directorial revolves around the story of an “untouchable” woman who rises to the top. The poster that Richa shared on Instagram sees her sporting a pixie cut hairstyle with bruises on her face. She is also seen holding a broom. The background of the poster features Manav Kaul and Saurabh Shukla, who play pivotal roles in the film. “Proud to present to you all, my new cinema outing #MadamChiefMinister, a film I really believe in… a political drama about an ‘untouchable’ who rises to the top! Out in cinemas on 22nd January! Stay tuned,” Richa wrote in the caption of the post. The movie is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Naren Kumar, and Dimple Kharbanda. Richa Chadha and director Arati Kadav are soon to collaborate for their first project together. The director is known for her marvellous work in the sci-fi space and her film ‘Cargo’ which released on Netflix recently earned rave reviews. This new project shot from home during the lockdown stars Richa Chadha and Mrinal Dutt. The story is about, seconds before a meteor hits earth, an awkward man confesses his love to his college crush on a farewell call with his school friends. The film uses a unique sci-fi concept mixed with human connect and emotions in a 20 minutes short. The film is set to release on Amazon Prime Video in the US and UK and is expected to release in India soon. Richa said, “Arati has a strongly unique imagination and a point of view which is what makes her a great director to collaborate with. Science fiction for me has always been a point of intrigue as a genre. And the realm of it meeting the idea of apocalypse is very exciting. The project was a great experiment to be part of during the lockdown as the story is smartly woven into the narrative of a virtual shoot”.

Arati Kadav added, “‘55 km/sec’ was a film we wrote during the pandemic, during the initial complete lockdown. The idea was to cheer ourselves up during that phase but we actually ended up having lots of fun.”
