The incident occurred in Hasanpur village of the Unchahar area, where a 13-year-old boy sustained serious injuries after falling from a wall. Despite repeated calls, the family received no response from emergency services. Left with no choice, the younger brother placed his injured sibling on the same type of rickshaw their father uses to collect scrap and dragged it all the way to the nearest hospital.

Congress Legislature Party leader Aradhana Mishra ‘Mona’ said “People of both the Lok Sabha constituencies have ensured Rahul Gandhi’s election to Lok Sabha by a big margin. So, the choice of one seat will be difficult for him,”

“We want Rahul Gandhiji to retain the Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seat. However, if he decides to retain Wayanad, we will request the Congress high command to field a Gandhi family member. As no other leader will be acceptable here as a candidate, the choice must be Priyanka Gandhi,” said Pankaj Tiwari, The president of district Congress Committee, Rae Bareli.

CB Pandey, a former advisor to the UP governor, explained that according to the Prohibition of Simultaneous Membership Rules, a candidate elected from two Lok Sabha seats must resign from one of them within 14 days of their election.

It has become clear in the first three phases that the Indian government is going to be formed on June 4. Union Minister and BJP candidate for Amethi, Smriti Irani, stated on Friday that the Congress has conceded defeat from the constituency even before a vote was cast, claiming that if the opposition party had been optimistic about the results of the polls, they would not have fielded a “proxy candidate” (Kishori Lal Sharma).

‘Gandhis are losing Amethi even before the votes are tallied because they are not battling in the state in Amethi’ Smriti Irani told reporters that ‘if they had seen a glimmer of hope, they would have contested and not put up a proxy candidate.’

“There has been great development in Amethi…if this much has been accomplished in 5 years out of which two years were lost to the battle against Covid, then why was it not done for 50 years in Amethi by the Gandhi family? I want to assure the people of Amethi that the Modi government will return, and we will continue to work for people here, with development being the centre of our focus. Today before a vote has been cast, history has been made. I am grateful to the people of Amethi. Today is the victory of the people of Amethi,” Irani said.

Irani brought up Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement that the Congress was “waiting for elections to conclude in Kerala” in order to thereafter proclaim Rahul Gandhi’s safe seat.

Five persons were hurt after a short circuit caused a house fire in the Raebareli region of Uttar Pradesh, according to an official on Saturday evening.
Fire Service Operator (FSO) Sunil Kumar Singh reports that the fire engine arrived promptly to put out the fire.

“We received information at 11:45 pm on Saturday, that a house in the area had caught fire. Upon receiving the alert, the fire service vehicle was promptly dispatched to the scene for emergency firefighting,” Sunil Kumar Singh said.

“The incident occurred when some individuals were filling turpentine in containers; in the midst of this, a sudden fire broke out due. It had rapidly taken a massive form. The fire service vehicle gained control over the fire and proceeded with further investigation,” he added.

“During the investigation, we learned that five individuals were injured in the incident and the cause of the fire was a short circuit. The victims were admitted to the hospital for treatment,” Sunil Kumar Singh said.

A doctor provided insights into the individual’s situation.

“Five people have arrived in critical condition due to a fire explosion. They said they were injured as their house caught fire. Three of them have been admitted to the hospital, while the treatment of the other two is underway. The situation is currently stable,” the doctor said.

CM Yogi expresses grief over deaths in road accident in UP’s Raebareli

According to a press release issued on Thursday, Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, expressed profound sorrow over the deaths caused by the traffic accident in the Raebareli district. In addition, Yogi Adityanath sent his condolences to the grieving family members and wished the deceased’s soul peace, according to the press release. According to the press release, CM Yogi ordered the district administration officials to take the injured right away to the hospital so they can receive the proper care. He also expressed his wish for the injured people to recover quickly.

Earlier, on the same day, the Chief Minister also visited Maa Pateshwari Devi Patan Temple in Balrampur district of Uttar Pradesh.
