Mohan Yadav Announces For Tribal Culture Museum And New Hospital At Bhainsdehi

On Monday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced the creation of a Tribal Culture Study Centre Museum in Bhainsdehi and a 100-bed civil hospital in Bhimpur, Betul district. Speaking at a program in Betul, CM Yadav also declared the renaming of Government College Bhainsdehi to Freedom Fighter Ganjan Singh Korku College and the Mendha Dam to Freedom Fighter Ram Bhau Korku.

Addressing the program, Yadav said, “Bhainsdehi College is renamed after Ganjan Singh Korku and Mendha Dam is renamed after Ram Bhau Korku. If we do not remember our revolutionaries then who will we remember? We will definitely remember our freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives.”

“I have been told that a Tribal Culture Study Centre Museum is to be established here. I am announcing to establish it at this stage. I am also announcing the establishment of a 100-bed civil hospital here. There is a deep affection for Betul and whatever required will be granted,” he added.

Appreciating Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Yadav stated that PM Modi is concerned about all Indians worldwide and offers every possible assistance to those in need. He also mentioned that the state government is dedicated to ensuring the well-being and happiness of women.

“The state government has deposited Rs 1,250 along with additional Rs 250 for Raksha Bandhan into the accounts of women under the Ladli Behna Yojana. The state government is committed to bringing smiles to the sisters. I extend my best wishes to all the sisters.”

He also urged everyone to hoist the national flag at their homes as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan’.

Additionally, the chief minister inaugurated and laid the foundation for development projects totalling Rs 60.29 crores during the event. This includes the initiation of 11 projects valued at Rs 26.70 crores and the opening of seven projects worth Rs 33.59 crores, as reported by the Public Works Department’s Bridge Development Corporation.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Saturday awarded ‘Out of Turn Promotion’ to 28 soldiers, including two ex-soldiers, for their courageous efforts against Naxalites in Balaghat district.

CM Yadav congratulated the district’s soldiers, acknowledging their significant role in controlling the Naxalites and restoring normalcy in the previously troubled Balaghat district.

“Our soldiers played their role bravely in various Naxalite operations in Balaghat, and today I am happy that 26 soldiers and two ex-soldiers have been granted promotions. All types of armed forces in Balaghat, the role played by the District Police Force, the SAF soldiers, the Hawk Force, and 18 companies of three battalions of the CRPF of the Government of India are here. I would like to congratulate everyone,” CM Yadav told ANI.

He added, “Our armed forces are capable of fighting the enemies of the country. We have made a policy of surrender for Naxalites. We are working in that direction. This is the reason that we have controlled the Naxalites to a great extent and our most problematic district has become normal again.”

Before the ceremony, CM Yadav paid tribute to the martyred brave soldiers by laying floral wreaths.

“Today, in Balaghat, I honoured the brave soldiers by giving them an ‘Out of Turn Promotion’. On this occasion, I paid tribute to the martyred brave soldiers by offering floral wreaths,” CM Yadav posted on X.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, accompanied by his wife Seema Yadav, lit lamps at Ram Ghat on the Shipra River’s banks in Ujjain to celebrate the Hindu New Year, Vikram Samvat 2081.

On Tuesday, a total of 5.51 lakh lamps lit up the banks of the Shipra River, commemorating the event. Additionally, intricate designs were created using the lamps to promote voting awareness in light of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

“On the occasion of the beginning of Vikram Samvat 2081, the government organised this event and it is organised every year. Since the model code of conduct is implemented so I could go to the stage. But every year I come to the banks of the river and enjoy the event along with the public. Around 5.5 lakh diyas are lit here. I also did ‘deep daan’,” CM Yadav informed ANI. Additionally, the Chief Minister conveyed his best wishes to the citizens of the state and the nation on this occasion.

The Vikram Samvat is a solar calendar that incorporates 12 to 13 lunar months in each solar sidereal year. Typically, the Vikram Samvat calendar runs 57 years ahead of the Gregorian calendar, but from January to April, it is 56 years ahead. Across India, this calendar is celebrated under various names; for instance, in Maharashtra, it’s known as Gudi Padwa.

The Vikram Samvat calendar is attributed to the legendary King Vikramaditya of Ujjain, who is traditionally believed to have initiated it in 57 BC. However, historical records do not indicate its usage prior to the 9th century.

The New Year’s Day in the Vikram Samvat calendar commonly marks the beginning of Chaitra month in April. Additionally, Madhya Pradesh is scheduled for Lok Sabha polls in four phases, with the first phase on April 19, followed by subsequent phases on April 26, May 7, and May 13.

Madhya Pradesh CM Suspends Authorities, Orders Swift Action After Tragic Guna Accident

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav took decisive action following the tragic road accident in Guna district, where 13 lives were lost and 17 people sustained injuries. CM Yadav visited the Guna district hospital to meet the victims and announced the suspension of two authorities for negligence in handling the aftermath of the incident.

The Chief Minister ordered the immediate suspension of the Regional Transport Officer (RTO) for failing to conduct vehicle checks and the Chief Municipal Officer (CMO) for a delayed response in dispatching the fire brigade team to the accident site. After conducting a preliminary investigation, CM Yadav expressed his determination to take strict action against those responsible for the unfortunate incident.

“The incident occurred around 8:30 pm last night. 13 people have died in the accident. I am trying to get every possible detail of the accident, and strict action will be taken against the responsible people,” stated CM Yadav after meeting the victims.

Guna Collector Tarun Rathi provided details of the tragic accident, confirming 13 fatalities and 17 injuries. Search efforts are ongoing for those missing, and two authorities have been suspended. A case has been registered against the bus driver and operator involved in the collision.

MP KP Yadav, representing the Guna Lok Sabha constituency, commended the Chief Minister’s serious approach to the matter and announced financial assistance. “He has announced financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh each to the family of the deceased and Rs 50,000 each to the injured. Action has also been taken against those who have been negligent, following which the RTO and CMO have been suspended,” KP Yadav stated.

Earlier, CM Yadav initiated a probe into the incident, leading to the formation of a four-member investigation committee. The committee is expected to submit its report within three days, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of the circumstances surrounding the tragic accident.

Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav directs an investigation into the Guna road accident

Mohan Yadav, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, ordered an investigation into the Guna road accident on Thursday, which left 12 people dead. In addition, he promised that those at fault would face harsh consequences. On Guna-Aron road in Guna on Wednesday night, a bus collided with a dumper truck and caught fire. According to authorities, this resulted in at least one death and fourteen injuries.

CM Mohan Yadav said, “It is a sad incident. I am in constant contact with the District Collector and SP. I am visiting Guna right now. It is a heart-breaking incident, and we will try to ensure that such an incident does not happen again.”
“I have ordered an inquiry into the matter. We are trying to find out information about the permit of the bus and how the accident occurred. Strict actions will be taken against the people responsible for it,” CM Yadav said.
“I am with the families of all the deceased in this hour of grief. We have our sympathies for the injured. We are hopeful that the administration will make arrangements to ensure that no such incident happens again,” he added.
According to police, the bus was on its way from Guna to Aron. The vehicle, with passengers, set off from Guna at 8 pm and met with the accident at 8:30 pm. Around 30 passengers were on board the vehicle when it met with the accident.

Priorities included recovering the bodies and making sure the injured received prompt and appropriate medical attention, according to Guna District Collector Tarun Rathi earlier on Wednesday.

IAS Officer Raghvendra Kumar Singh Appointed Principal Secretary to Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh

Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Raghvendra Kumar Singh, belonging to the 1997 batch, has been appointed as the principal secretary to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav in Madhya Pradesh. The official order issued on Friday evening also confers on Singh an additional charge as the principal secretary of the state government and the Public Service Management Department.

This reshuffling comes merely two days after the induction of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, marking the conclusion of the extensive tenure of his predecessor, Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Chief Minister Yadav took his oath of office on Wednesday, with Governor Mangubhai C. Patel officiating the ceremony at Motilal Nehru Stadium, Lal Parade Ground in the state capital. The swearing-in event saw the presence of several eminent figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Amit Shah, BJP national president JP Nadda, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Raghvendra Kumar Singh will succeed Manish Rastogi, an IAS officer from the 1994 batch, who previously held the role and has now been appointed as the principal secretary to the state government.
