July 7, 2025, 3:54 pm

Americans were recently left puzzled by a strange sight in the sky — a circle with the number “4” drawn by a plane. The curious logo quickly went viral as people began sharing photos and videos online, speculating about its origin.

One woman, who was sunbathing on her rooftop deck, captured a video of a plane drawing the cryptic logo in real-time, and shared it on Instagram. In the video, the aircraft first formed a circle, then created a number “4” inside it. She immediately speculated, “Is this an advertisement for Fantastic Four? I think it is.”

As the plane continued drawing a second logo, she remarked, “I think they’re just going to have them all over the sky. Talk about marketing.” In the caption, she wrote, “Look up today and you’ll probably see one of these above you #fantastic4 Pedro Pascal, are you up there?? Great marketing.”

Sky Art Across the US Fuels Speculation

Many viewers took to her comment section to share similar experiences. One user said, “Oooh saw that…I thought it was a peace sign.” Another added, “It happened all over New York, too, on July 4th.” Someone else praised the stunt, saying, “That’s some fantastic advertising there.”

The widespread nature of the symbols and their timing has led fans to believe the act is part of a promotional campaign for Marvel’s upcoming film, The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Who Will Surprise Us? Top 5 Potential Cameos in Avengers: Doomsday | TDG Explainer

March 29, 2025, 5:31 pm

Marvel Studios’ new movie, Avengers: Doomsday, has created a lot of buzz around its large ensemble cast. While the core roster consists of many heroes and villains, focus has shifted to possible extended cameos that would add depth to the story and connect different storylines within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). In this article, we look at seven characters whose appearances could make a huge difference in the unfolding narrative.

1. Daredevil (Matt Murdock)

Charlie Cox’s take on Daredevil has been the standout since he first appeared in the Netflix series. His inclusion into the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) was teased by his cameo appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home. With his street-level awareness and legal acumen, Matt Murdock might offer a realistic eye during the cosmic events of Avengers: Doomsday. Daredevil’s presence would not only be a joy to fans but would also organically link the MCU’s street-level storylines to its bigger, universe-reaching events.

2. Spider-Man (Peter Parker) in Avengers: Doomsday

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man has become a fan favorite in the Marvel Cinematic Universe(MCU) his progression from a youth hero to a veteran Avenger has been heartwarming for audiences. In the comics Spider-Man’s relationship with the Avengers has been complicated.

Although Spider-Man’s equation in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been decent with the Avengers because of him being given the role of Iron Man’s student. Spider-Man’s ground-level insight and scientific expertise have come in handy in many storylines, ranging from cosmic battles to involvement in multiverse-contained events.

Spider-Man’s inclusion in Avengers: Doomsday would bring a human point of view in the midst of epic battles, making the story tangible and allowing viewers to latch on to a character that they thoroughly resonate with.

The possible inclusion or exclusion of these characters in Avengers: Doomsday speaks to Marvel Studios’ intricate planning and dedication to balancing the needs of fans with logical storytelling. As the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) continues to grow, such decisions will surely color the cinematic world, integrating legacy characters and new heroes into an ever-changing tapestry of stories.

3. She-Hulk (Jennifer Walters)

Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters, or She-Hulk, has found a place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as both a skilled lawyer and a strength-packing hero. Her combination of legal expertise and superhuman power, combined with her fourth-wall-breaking sense of humor, might bring her both comedy and weight to the dark storyline of Avengers: Doomsday. Her inclusion in Avengers: Doomsday would also reaffirm Marvel’s TV and movie ventures as interconnected.

4.Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch)

Wanda Maximoff played by Elizabeth Olsen has been a prime focus of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), her journey has been deeply delved. Into two seperate sections in WandaVision and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

It seems almost certain that the Scarlet Witch would feature in Avengers: Doomsday in some way since in one of the Marvel comics it was Wanda who teamed up with Doom.

Though, Elizabeth Olsen made it official that she would not be continuing her character in Avengers: Doomsday, revealing she wanted to take on other endeavors. In spite of that, fan speculations exist that Wanda will make a comeback, particularly considering how integral she is to the multiverse storyline. Whether it is a strategic distraction or a true break remains to be determined.

5. Doctor Stephen Strange Cameo in Avengers: Doomsday

Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange has been instrumental in navigating the complexities of the multiverse. In spite of the multiversal nature of Avengers: Doomsday, Beneditch Cumberbatch has shown that Doctor Strange may not be in this part but because of it having a large role in Avengers: Secret Wars as well as an upcoming third solo film it appears extremely possible that Doctor Strange may receive an expanded cameo in Doomsday, This calculated absence implies a measured approach in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) narrative, perhaps signaling Doctor Strange’s larger role to come in future stories.

The possible inclusion or exclusion of these characters in *Avengers: Doomsday* speaks to Marvel Studios’ strategic planning and dedication to harmonizing fan expectation with narrative coherence. As the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) itself continues to grow, these choices will certainly influence the cinematic world, interweaving legacy heroes and newcomers into an ever-expanding fabric of story.

Marvel’s link to Justin Baldoni-Blake Lively drama revealed in Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool spoof

January 16, 2025, 6:10 pm

Kyle Gordy, a California native and 32-year-old man, is recognized as the world’s most prolific sperm donor. To date, he has fathered 87 children around the globe. According to his prediction, he would have reached the number of 100 children by the end of this year, and this achievement is shared only by three other men. Yet, Gordy continues to donate sperm. “It feels great to be a dad of so many children,” he told Jam Press. “I love that I’ve helped all these women start families when they thought this wouldn’t be possible. But I’m a long way off making a significant impact on the world’s overall population. And so, for that, I’m only just getting started.”

Gordy, who began the journey of giving through the site Be Pregnant Now, already has 14 babies on their way in such countries as the UK, Sweden, and Norway. “I don’t really have a goal number of children I’d like to have. I think I’ll just keep making babies until women no longer need me,” he quipped.

He also gained some fame by appearing on the TLC show 90 Day Fiancé, where he dated Anika Philipp, 39, for eight months before parting ways. While Gordy travels extensively for his donations, he hasn’t settled down romantically. “I would be open to slowing down for the right person, but I’m not going to put too much pressure on this anymore,” he explained.

Looking forward to 2025, Gordy has plans to visit Japan, Ireland, and other European countries. “I have a few trips planned across the world this year. I’m speaking to a few women in Japan and Ireland – both countries of which I’m yet to have children,” he said. He added, “I wouldn’t mind an Irish wife. I’d love to settle down there, as I really enjoy the country and have been multiple times.” While he hasn’t donated in Ireland yet, it’s a potential destination. “It’s somewhere I can see myself moving to permanently – but I’m leaving it up to the universe to make that decision for me.”

He proudly reflects on his unique lifestyle. “I have helped people conceive all over the world, which is something most people would think is unbelievable,” he said. “I might have a child in each country by 2026.”

The drama involving Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively has just turned into a huge mess as it now involves Marvel and Disney in the mix. In early January, Justin’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, sent a litigation hold letter to Marvel president Kevin Feige and Disney CEO Bob Iger. This is as a result of Ryan Reynolds acting out an alternative version of Deadpool, named “Nicepool,” in the Marvel movie titled ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’, which Disney had released last July.

The controversy surrounds several remarks and characteristics about the character Nicepool. Firstly, Nicepool has long hair and a man bun, and utters lines such as “Where in God’s name is the intimacy coordinator? ” and speaks about Ladypool for “snapping back” after childbirth. This, as per Justin’s legal team, is a defamatory attack on him.

In addition, the character’s statement, “I identify as a feminist,” appears to be a reflection of Justin’s experience when he was labeled a feminist and then dispossessed of his ‘feminist’ status when he received the Voices of Solidarity Award from Vital Voices.

It Ends With Us is now on Netflix in the US. Starring Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni, and Brandon Sklenar. Based on the novel by Colleen Hoover. pic.twitter.com/M4exzxdJej

— Netflix (@netflix) December 9, 2024

Ladypool, played by none other than Blake Lively, has her own connection to the controversy, as she was seen as an integral part of the scene that sparked legal concerns. Of particular interest is the mention of the intimacy coordinator because Justin and Blake had earlier made the point of safety through intimacy coordinators when it comes to scenes involving intimate activities.

In her Digital Spy interview last year, Blake said this, “You coordinate stunts, you coordinate dancing. It is choreography. So to be able to say ‘This is what happens here, here and here’ in a stunt, and ‘This is what happens here, here and here’ in a dance, but ‘Now you guys just go put your bodies together and your mouths and whatever, and action and cut,’ that’s ridiculous. I think that being choreographed is critical for everyone’s safety.”

Adding to the flames, a quotation in the movie in which Nicepool says “snapping back into shape” is thought to refer to an incident in which Justin was said to have asked how much Blake weighed when she was out of the hospital after having their baby as he had to lift her. According to reports, Ryan Reynolds allegedly “berated” Justin for what he saw as “fat shaming” Blake, which added fuel to the flames.

The litigation hold letter instructs Marvel and Disney to preserve all documents related to the creation and development of Nicepool, including those that involve “communications relating to the development, writing, and filming of storylines,” as well as any records that may indicate a deliberate attempt to “mock, harass, ridicule, intimidate, or bully Baldoni through the character of Nicepool.

Whether or not this claim holds merit, it’s clear that Marvel and Disney are now embroiled in the unfolding legal drama between Justin and Blake.

Robert Downey Jr. to Earn ‘Significantly More’ Than Rs 670 Cr For Marvel Return

July 30, 2024, 11:45 am

Marvel has invested heavily to reunite Robert Downey Jr. and the Russo brothers for the upcoming fifth and sixth Avengers films, titled ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’. These announcements were made at the recent San Diego Comic-Con, where both Downey and the Russos appeared together on stage. Downey, who portrayed Tony Stark/Iron Man in the MCU for over a decade, concluded his role with ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and Avengers: Endgame’, both directed by the Russos.

According to a new Variety report, Downey’s sole condition for returning was that the Russos must also be involved. Given their track record and Downey’s stature—now an Oscar-winner for his role in ‘Oppenheimer’—the cost of their return was significant. The Russos are set to receive $80 million for directing the two films, which is approximately Rs 670 crore, plus additional bonuses tied to global box office milestones of $750 million and $1 billion. This figure does not include backend compensation.

Downey, having earned between $400 million and $500 million from Marvel over the years—including four Avengers films, three solo Iron Man movies, and various cameos—has accumulated around Rs 3700 crore. He is expected to earn ‘significantly more’ than the Russos for these upcoming films, where he will play the supervillain Doctor Doom. His deal includes perks such as ‘private jet travel, dedicated security, and an entire trailer encampment’.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige began considering bringing Downey back due to mounting studio problems, including box office struggles and a major revamp following actor Jonathan Majors’ firing. Downey agreed to return only on the condition that the Russos be brought back as well. “They were the only ones he would work with,” a source told Variety.

Filming for the new Avengers movies will start in 2025 in England, moving away from Marvel’s usual Atlanta locations. ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is scheduled for release in 2026, followed by ‘Secret Wars’ in 2027.

Actor Jonathan Majors Found Guilty of Assault and Harassment in Domestic Violence Case

December 19, 2023, 11:05 am

In a high-profile legal case, actor Jonathan Majors has been convicted of two misdemeanor counts of harassment and assault in a Manhattan court. The verdict, delivered by a six-person jury after over four hours of deliberation spread across three days, found Majors guilty on two charges but acquitted him on two others. The actor was found not guilty on one count of intentional assault in the third degree and one count of aggravated harassment in the second degree.

The incident in question occurred in March, when Majors was arrested in New York City after assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, in the backseat of a private vehicle. Jabbari, a 30-year-old dancer who met Majors on the set of Marvel’s “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” reported sustaining bruises, swelling, and significant agony as a result of the altercation.

During the trial, Majors was accompanied by his current girlfriend, Meagan Good, and his attorneys. The jury’s decision has led to a sentencing date set for February 6, with Majors facing a potential sentence of up to a year in prison, although probation remains a possibility.

The fallout from the guilty conviction has been swift, with Marvel Studios severing ties with Majors, who portrayed the key villain, Kang the Conqueror, in Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe. The 34-year-old actor was set to star in upcoming Marvel films, including 2025’s ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’. Additionally, a project in which Majors was involved, “Magazine Dreams,” was pulled from its release schedule by Searchlight Pictures following the allegations.

Majors’ defense counsel, Priya Chaudhry, expressed the actor’s faith in the legal process and his determination to clear his name. Chaudhry also highlighted the jury’s decision not to believe Jabbari’s account of the incident, emphasizing their gratitude for that aspect while expressing disappointment in the jury’s finding of recklessness on Majors’ part.

Throughout the trial, the prosecution presented evidence portraying Majors as manipulative and controlling in his relationship with Jabbari. Texts and audio recordings were released, with Majors allegedly attempting to dissuade Jabbari from seeking medical treatment and making statements suggesting a sense of entitlement and control.

Majors denied assaulting Jabbari, with his defense team asserting that Jabbari was the aggressor in the vehicle that night and suggesting that she fabricated the claims in retaliation for their separation.

As the legal process unfolds, the repercussions of the verdict continue to reverberate through the entertainment industry, with the future trajectory of Jonathan Majors’ career hanging in the balance.

The case has drawn widespread attention and sparked discussions about domestic violence, the dynamics of relationships, and the impact of legal proceedings on the careers of public figures.

True Detective writer Pizzolato set to write Marvel Studios ‘Blade’

April 29, 2023, 5:08 pm

The ‘Blade’ film from Marvel Studios, starring Oscar winner Mahershala Ali, will be written by ‘True Detective’ writer Nic Pizzolatto. Variety, a source for entertainment news, reports that the movie is in pre-production.

Pizzolatto will be working on a draught of the Michael Starrbury script, which has been described as “darker than most Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.” Starrbury is an Emmy nominee. The focus of “Blade” is the well-known vampire-slayer from comic books. In an effort to exact revenge on his mother, who was murdered by a vampire as she gave birth to him, the half-mortal, half-immortal man is working to rid the world of vampires.

Marvel fans will be now excited as Marvel Superheroes will now be a part of a fun game in the real-world metaverse.

Meanwhile, the fun game has been developed by Niantic in partnership with Marvel Entertainment which will allow fans to become their own Marvel Super Hero.

In the Marvel Multiverse, they will also travel to multiple alternate realities and will engage with different characters and stories in the exact location.

Moreover, the ‘MARVEL World of Heroes’ is an AR mobile game that is scheduled to launch in 2023 globally.

Lead Game Designer Neil Melville talked about the new game and said, “It has been a joy to work with this talented and passionate team in crafting a game that will let players get a taste of the Super Hero lifestyle right in their own neighbourhoods. It is my goal that this game instills in its player’s feelings of freedom, power, curiosity, and cooperation, and will inspire them to make the world a better place.”

Highlighting the features of the game the game’s Senior Producer Lyza Faylona said, “I love MMORPGs, so I’m most excited about bringing that to the real world. To arrive at a location, view it, and interact with it through the lens of a Marvel SuperHero is what I’m really excited about. I can’t wait to see how players interact with these locations and form their own origin stories.”

However, in 2023 the game will be available and one can pre-register for MARVEL World of Heroes at marvelwoh.com.
