Swiggy IPO Expected for Public Launch from November 6-8 | Key Details Inside

Swiggy’s Initial Public Offering (IPO) may launch for public subscription from November 6 to November 8, with anchor book openings set for November 5, according to a report by Moneycontrol, though HT has not independently verified this information.

The company reportedly aims for an IPO valuation of $11.3 billion at the top end of the price band. Additionally, the primary issue size has been expanded to approximately ₹4,500 crore, bringing the total IPO size to an estimated ₹11,700 to ₹11,800 crore, the report says.

Swiggy’s draft red herring prospectus reveals that the IPO will include a fresh issue portion of ₹3,750 crore alongside an offer for sale (OFS) for up to 182,286,265 equity shares.

Swiggy’s closest competitor, Zomato, which dominates the food delivery market alongside Swiggy, already went public with a ₹9,375 crore IPO. Zomato’s shares have surged 136.68% over the past year, though it is now seeking to raise funds through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP).

Major Swiggy shareholders include Prosus (32%), SoftBank (8%), and Accel (6%), while Elevation Capital, DST Global, Norwest, Tencent, Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), and Singapore’s GIC also hold stakes. Swiggy confidentially filed its IPO documents on September 24, a process that allows companies to keep their offer details private until the IPO plan is finalized.

In addition to food delivery, Swiggy’s Instamart competes with players like Zomato’s Blinkit, Zepto, and Tata’s BigBasket in the quick-commerce sector.

Anurag Kashyap‘s Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat gets a grand trailer launch

Anurag Kashyap’s much awaited movie Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat that is touted to be his ode to modern love, launched their trailer in Mumbai today. The trailer was launched in a massive event attended by the entire star cast—Alaya F, debutant Karan Mehta, Anurag himself along with the music director Amit Trivedi.

The trailer, which is Gen Z’s take on modern love, looks quite interesting and is an amalgamation of all elements ranging from drama, romance, pain and fun. The trailer launch was followed by a fun interaction with the star cast, Anurag, music director Amit Trivedi and Producers – Ranjan Singh, Kabir Ahuja & Shariq Patel.

Anurag at the trailer launch opened up on the film, saying “It was my daughter who kept making me realise how my generation of people think that we know everything and it is our world, whereas in reality, they are the natives and we are the immigrants. This was the core thought I have tried to explore in Almost Pyaar though my Gen Z protagonists. He spoke of his association with music director Amit Trivedi, “Amit is a great supporter of what I do and our bond is very organic and free flowing.”

Alaya F said,”This was supposed to be my debut film. I was auditioning for couple of films but wasn’t getting anything and started having serious doubts on myself, but then i met Anurag Sir and after watching my reel he instantly signed me for the film .So I’m immensely grateful to him for having that faith in me.”

Debutant Karan Mehta said “It is a dream come true to work with Anurag Sir. I used to make short films and his daughter Aaliyah showed it to Anurag sir and i received a message from him to work on this film.”

Apple delays the launch of its car to 2026

Union Home Minister Amit Shah termed the successful launch of the Indian Space Research Organisation’s heaviest rocket with 36 Oneweb satellites as a “landmark day for India’s space programme.” 36 communication satellites have been launched by ISRO on its heaviest rocket from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Andhra Pradesh’s Sriharikota. A special pooja was conducted by ISRO Chairman S Somnath on Saturday morning at Sri Chengalamma Parameshwari Devi Temple at Sullurpeta in the Tirupati district for the success of the GSLV Mark-3 rocket launch.

ISRO’s rocket LVM3 will carry 36 satellites of the private communications firm OneWeb, Somanath said earlier on Saturday evening.
“A 24-hour countdown to the launch has started. Another set of 36 OneWeb satellites will be launched by the LVM3 in the first half of next year, “he said.”

“The GSLV Mark-3 rocket countdown process will continue. The GSLV Mark-3 rocket will be launched from the second launch pad at 00.07 midnight today. GSLV Mark-3 is being launched with 36 satellites in the first phase as part of the agreement of 108 satellites with the UK. Thirty-six satellites are purely for communications. “PSLV and SLV rockets will be tested this year,” he added.
“16 out of 36 satellites have been successfully separated safely, and the remaining 20 satellites will be separated,” he said.

“Chandrayaan-3 is almost ready. Final integration and testing are almost complete. Still, some more tests are pending, so we want to do them a little later. There were two slots available, one in February and another in June. We would like to take the June (2023) slot for the launch,” he said.
