Comedian Kapil Sharma surprised everybody at the airport on Wednesday afternoon. He was spotted looking skinnier than ever after what appears to be a radical weight loss makeover.

Kapil appeared chic but relaxed in his all-grey attire. He also sported sunglasses as he entered the Mumbai airport. His face and physique appeared leaner than we witnessed last, something many on the internet also picked up on.

Others had speculated the reasons for his weight loss with some citing weight loss medication Ozempic and another set of people accusing the Covid vaccine of causing the weight loss.

Kapil Sharma’s weight continues to change. He lost a lot of weight a couple of years ago but regained it later. He has remained fit for some time now and tends to post fashionable photographs, showing off his handsome looks on social media.

The police say that comedian Kapil Sharma has gotten a death threat over email from Pakistan. Among several famous people—including Rajpal Yadav, Sugandha Mishra, and Remo D’Souza—who have recently been assaulted with identical menacing emails, he is one.

Under Section 351(3) of BNS, an FIR has been filed at the Amboli Police Station against an unidentified individual and an inquiry has started.

Coming from Pakistan, the email announced:

“We think it’s vital we call your attention on a delicate subject. We beg you to take this message with great seriousness and privacy; it is not a publicity stunt or an effort to bother you.
The sender signed off ‘BISHNU.’

Police say the sender required a response from the famous within eight hours; otherwise they would suffer personal and career ramifications.

A legal grievance was submitted by Kapil Sharma with the governmentistributed. Beforehand, Sugandha Mishra and Remo D’Souza also contacted the authorities following receipt of the same email.

Rajpal Yadav, an actor, got a similar email last year on December 14 and on December 17 he filed a police complaint after finding the message in his spam folder. In an audio recording for NDTV, he said in quotes:
I have filed a complaint with the cyber crime division and the Amboli Police. Since then, I have not talked with anyone on it. As an artiste, I wish to captivate viewers with my shows. The agencies can update on these.”

The Mumbai Police is urgently looking into the cases as the threats against prominent people are quite specific.

On Wednesday, Congress leader and Mandi candidate Vikramaditya Singh mocked actor-turned-politician and BJP candidate Kangana Ranaut, comparing her to comedian Kapil Sharma. During an interview with ANI, Singh criticized Ranaut’s statements and accused her of evading tough questions.

“I asked Kangana tough questions, but she always tries to escape by alleging that we are anti-women. Her time of entertainment in Himachal Pradesh is over. I think she should go back to Mumbai after June 4 and either do films or start a comedy show.”

However, comedian Kiku Sharda clarified that the show has been renewed for a second season and the filming break is temporary.

The last episode of the first season was shot on May 1, with five episodes currently streaming on Netflix, the latest featuring Kapil hosting Aamir Khan. Kiku revealed that eight more episodes are scheduled to be released in the coming weeks, with the next one featuring Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. As per the fan, he alleged that he was the part of the latest upcoming episode of the show, even though it wasn’t specified which episode. And revealed what happened during the shoot. He called the experience extremely pathetic and further alleged that the ground staff of Kapil Sharma’s show was very rude to the audience. “Kapil’s on ground staff was extremely rude and treated all the audience members like pieces of shit. Our call time was 2pm but we were made to wait for 4 hours before the shoot finally started at 6pm.. it was horrendous given how hot Mumbai is these days. We were asked to submit our phones which is partially fair (as all the staff was freely roaming around using phones and clicking pictures),”

The actress told RJ Siddharth Kannan in Hindi, “I said ‘I had no idea when it was shot’. But, they must have had some strategy. I felt bad for one second then I thought Venkatesh sir wasn’t there. We are a couple in the film. I did my calculation. Since he wasn’t called, what would I say alone? Those three couples were called, they are youngsters, their equation is different. So, I said ‘thik hai.” In the same conversation, Bhumika also expressed regret at being replaced by Kareena Kapoor Khan in Jab We Met.

On Friday, Rani Mukherjee’s ‘Mrs Chatterjee v/s Norway’ and Kapil Sharma’s ‘Zwigato’ were released (March 17). ‘Zwigato,’ directed by Nandita Das, has received positive reviews from critics; however, box office numbers have not been impressive.

Rani Mukherjee’s film, on the other hand, has received a mixed bag of reactions till now. However, the film began on a positive note at the box office. “Released at limited screens [409] and shows, #Zwigato puts up a dull score on Day 1…,” trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted on Saturday. The buzz is positive, but it needs to translate into foot traffic over the weekend… Fri, Rs 42 lacs. #Indiabusiness.”
Zwigato earned 62 lakh rupees on day two. Adarsh estimates that Zwigato witnesses an upward trend on Day 2 [+44.19%], but the 2-day total remains very low due to its biz on Day 1. For a respectable weekend total, Biz must have a miraculous turnaround/jump on Day 3… Friday: 43 lacs, Saturday: 62 lacs. Total: Rs 1.05 cr.

Meanwhile, ‘Mrs Chatterjee v/s Norway’ has more than 3 crore rupees in the lead.
