‘Heads of State’ to Premiere Globally on Prime Video on July 2, 2025

June 5, 2025, 11:27 am

Get ready for an explosive global adventure. Prime Video will premiere Heads of State on July 2, 2025. The film stars John Cena as the U.S. President and Idris Elba as the UK Prime Minister. Together, they must stop a deadly global conspiracy — but only if they can put their differences aside.

Classic Buddy Comedy with a Modern Twist

The movie blends nonstop action, clever comedy, and nostalgic energy. It throws back to the fun and chaos of 1990s buddy comedies. Moreover, it mixes fast-paced fight scenes with smart one-liners and wild stunts.

Ilya Naishuller Returns to Direct

The film’s director, Ilya Naishuller, is no stranger to action. He previously directed Hardcore Henry and Nobody. Now, he brings that same intensity and creativity to Heads of State.

Elba and Cena Reunite On Screen

Previously, Idris Elba and John Cena appeared together in The Suicide Squad. However, this time they play political rivals instead of killers. As Cena joked, they’re “not trying to kill each other… probably.”

Two Rivals, One Common Enemy

In the film, U.S. President Will Derringer and UK Prime Minister Sam Clarke don’t get along. In fact, their feud becomes a public embarrassment. But when a powerful enemy targets them both, everything changes. Their security teams fail. Therefore, they must rely on each other.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas Joins the Mission

Soon, they join forces with MI6 agent Noel Bisset, played by Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Together, they go on the run. Their goal? To stop a global conspiracy that threatens the world.

A Talented Ensemble Cast

Besides Cena and Elba, the cast includes Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, Stephen Root, Sarah Niles, Richard Coyle, and Paddy Considine. Each actor adds depth and energy to the story.

Laughter, Action, and International Chaos

Ultimately, Heads of State combines political satire, big action scenes, and heartfelt comedy. It delivers high-stakes drama with a wink and a punchline. Above all, it’s about two enemies learning to work as a team — just in time to save the world.

It was a declarative move by Orton, who will stretch his muscles against Cena at the ‘Backlash’ event set to take place on May 10.

Retirement Talk: John Cena Opens Up

Cena previously declared Sunday’s Wrestlemania bout against Rhodes to be his last and spoke on the reasons why he had made the drastic retirement decision in his ESPN interview with UFC legend Daniel Cormier.

“What I was trying to do is state facts, and me being honest with my record led me to be like ‘I got to retire.’ The reason I hadn’t had a lot of success in the WWE is that I’m a part-time participant. This needs to consume your life to be great,” Cena said.

“Not only consume your life, but you also have to be curious, passionate, open, and humble. Man, I can only imagine that if you are not fully focused, coachable and 100% involved in fight training. So I’m trying to split time and thinking that I can do both. I just did this a lot less and less and was used accordingly.”

Cena’s fans now want him to finally put the record straight once more against Orton during the ‘Backlash’ event that will take place in St Louis and streamed live in front of Indian audiences on Netflix.

John Cena Becomes 17-Time World Champion, Beats Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41

April 21, 2025, 8:06 pm

In a classic main event at WrestleMania 41, John Cena cemented his place in the history books of WWE as he defeated Cody Rhodes to claim his 17th world championship. In the process, Cena broke Ric Flair’s record of 16 world title reigns, and with this feat, the hitherto unbreakable record was achieved.

Shocking Heel Turn of John Cena

The match wasn’t merely for the title it was the culmination of one of the most surprising character turns in recent WWE history. John Cena, the face of WWE for more than two decades, shocked the wrestling world with a long-awaited heel turn. That started simmering earlier this year. It formally began on Elimination Chamber 2025 When John Cena formed an alliance with The Rock and brutally attacked Rhodes, marking the end of the ‘Hustle, Loyalty, Respect’ era and the start of a darker and more brutal take on the 16-time champion.

Fans had been fantasy-booked Cena’s heel turn for years, but the actual version was even better. At WrestleMania 41, Cena not only accepted the boos he lived for them, enjoying playing the villain.

The main event of WrestleMania 41 was a heated and emotional bout. Special guest Travis Scott caused a distraction towards the end of the match and assisted John Cena in gaining momentum back. Cena landed a low blow in a telling moment and went on to deliver a WWE Championship belt shot to Rhodes. He then covered him for the victory. The crowd at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas was divided. Some applauded the cleverness of John Cena, while others booed the betrayal by their number-one babyface.

What It Means for WWE

Cena’s heel turn creates the opportunity for several interesting feuds as he embarks on his retirement tour. His victory has restored balance to the WWE power structure, and Rhodes, formerly the face of WWE’s new generation, is now at a storytelling fork in the road. Will he seek revenge? Or will WWE elevate a new challenger to pursue the historic new champion?

Travis Scott Set to Shake Up WrestleMania 41… Is The Rock Showing Up Too?

April 5, 2025, 12:48 pm

WrestleMania 41 looks like one of the most highly awaited WWE events in years, and the headlining feud between Cody Rhodes and John Cena is at the center of it all. Yet there remains uncertainty about two central players in the inciting moments of this plot—Travis Scott and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

At the end of Elimination Chamber last month, The Rock shockingly turned heel and commanded an assault on WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. That assault was carried out by none other than Grammy-winning rapper Travis Scott and a new heel, John Cena. The scene caused immediate shockwaves throughout the WWE fandom and ignited the feud that’s leading to its culmination in Las Vegas on April 19 or 20—most likely Night Two of WrestleMania 41.

While they played crucial roles in sparking the feud, Scott and Johnson have not appeared on WWE television in any significant capacity in the weeks that have passed. The names have not been mentioned on-screen, sparking rumors of whether they will return as the build towards the match climax.

Travis Scott Reportedly Set to Appear

Reports have it that WWE does plan on incorporating Travis Scott into the celebration of WrestleMania 41. Although it is not detailed what exactly his role will be, the news indicates that Scott’s return to the narrative is near, and he could well appear amid the Rhodes vs Cena battle.

The Rock’s Situation Still Clouded

When it comes to The Rock, however, the news is still vague. The Wrestling Observer reports, “Everyone presumes he’ll be there in some form the day of the show, but it’s not confirmed to anyone either. Perhaps his appearance is being kept secret, but I’m not sure why given everyone would expect him to begin with.”

Though some critics may question the credibility of these reports, the uncertainty aligns with what others have reported about Johnson’s unpredictable WWE involvement in recent months. His appearances at Bad Blood and Elimination Chamber were reportedly last-minute decisions that caused WWE’s creative team to adjust major plans.

WWE’s Planning vs Johnson’s Schedule

Under Paul “Triple H” Levesque’s stewardship, WWE has developed its reputation for long-range storytelling and more disciplined creative planning—a far cry from the typical chaos of last-minute Vince McMahon-era changes. This makes The Rock’s surprise plot twists more conspicuous and difficult to plausibly adapt.

Nevertheless, WWE has ample reason to give The Rock room. One of the world’s most bankable stars, Johnson has strong relationships with WWE brass. He is close with WWE President Nick Khan, TKO leader Ari Emanuel and is also a member of the TKO Board of Directors.

Johnson’s hectic schedule compounds the mystery. This week, he was reported to be co-authoring a crime novel affiliated with a mob movie about the Hawaiian mafia in collaboration with Martin Scorsese, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Emily Blunt. He’s also headlining The Smashing Machine that comes out October 3rd, another award-grabber film with Benny Safdie and Blunt.

What to Expect at WrestleMania 41

If Travis Scott comes back, Cody Rhodes might finally exact revenge on that jaw-dropping slap at Elimination Chamber. For The Rock, though, WWE fans and viewers alike just keep holding out hope. His return would be gigantic—but, of course, as ever, it’s “all up to Dwayne Johnson.”sic hotspot.

Travis Scott’s Indian arrival is a landmark event for his fans and live music fans everywhere — one which is all set to make some really special memories.

John Cena Opens Up About Skin Cancer: Why Sunscreen is a Must?

April 3, 2025, 3:55 pm

WWE sensation and actor John Cena recently spoke about his previous fight with skin cancer to highlight the importance of sun protection. In a media interview, Cena conceded that in his younger days he didn’t use sunscreen, thinking he was not susceptible to the risks. “I was obstinate. I did not want to have a routine, and I also used to believe that the issue would never touch me.”. And it’s one of those things where I had a huge amount of exposure with little protection and it caught up with me,” he said in an interview with People magazine.

The 48-year-old wrestler stated that he was diagnosed with skin cancer twice, first at a routine dermatological examination where a cancerous lesion was surgically removed from his chest. A year later, doctors also found and removed a spot on his shoulder. Cena appreciated having an expert dermatologist to guide him through the anxiety of the diagnosis. “Man, that telephone call’s not one you wish to receive because it is uncontrollable and you have no idea how bad it is going to be,” he added. Scars from his operations can be noticed by WWE fans when watching him on TV. It appears as a white polka dot on the side of my chest and on my shoulder.”

Understanding Skin Cancer

Skin cancer arises when skin cells grow abnormally and uncontrollably, usually as a result of extended sun exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light. Under normal circumstances, old skin cells die off and are shed and replaced by new cells, but when this process is broken, excessive cell growth can cause the development of cancerous or noncancerous tumors.

If not treated, skin cancer may invade adjacent tissues or other parts of the body. Early treatment and detection can result in a high cure rate.

The most aggressive form of skin cancer is melanoma, which develops in melanocytes—cells that produce melanin, the pigment that colors the skin and protects it from UV damage. Melanoma is so serious because it can metastasize to other organs if not caught in an early stage.

Signs and Symptoms of Skin Cancer

Physicians recommend that skin cancer may manifest in various forms, depending on the type. One of the common ways to detect possible skin cancer is the ABCDE rule:

Asymmetry – One side of the mole appears different from the other side.
Border – The mole’s edges are irregular or fuzzy.
Color – Color variations, including shades of brown, black, red, or white.
Diameter – Moles larger than the tip of a pencil eraser are potentially suspicious.
Evolution – Growth, changing shape or color over time.

Additional signs and symptoms are:

A new mole or mole change, including bleeding.
A pearly or waxy growth, particularly on the face, ears, or neck.
A flat red or pink area on the skin.
Scar-like patches on the skin.
Long-lasting sores that heal.
Rough, scaly spots that can itch, bleed, or crust over.

Does Sunscreen Prevent Skin Cancer?

According to experts, in the majority of instances, skin cancer can be avoided by reducing sun exposure and preventing sunburns. UV rays, over time, can do extensive damage to the skin, which can lead to cancer.

One of the best methods of preventing skin cancer is applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or more. Broad-spectrum sunscreens protect against both UV-A and UV-B rays. Dermatologists suggest applying sunscreen 30 minutes prior to sun exposure and using it every day, even on cloudy days or winter.

Cena’s experience is a reminder of the need for sun protection and skin checkups on a regular basis to catch issues early.

John Cena Subtly Changes Iconic Catchphrase After Heel Turn

March 29, 2025, 11:51 am

WWE legend John Cena has made a dramatic shift in his character, turning heel for the first time in decades. As part of this transformation, Cena has also altered his signature catchphrase, replacing the iconic “You Can’t See Me” with a new, more sinister version.

John Cena’s Long-Awaited Heel Turn

WWE fans for years speculated about a heel turn for Cena, who has been the company’s face and a role model for kids. But his recent heel turn was a sudden departure from his usual character, taking on a darker and more aggressive character.

During a recent WWE event, John Cena stunned fans when he subtly modified his famous catchphrase. Instead of saying “You Can’t See Me,”he delivered a new line that reflected a complete reinvention of his character. While the exact wording of the new phrase is still being analyzed by fans, its impact has already sparked excitement across the wrestling community.

The Impact of John Cena’s New Persona

John Cena’s heel turn is perhaps the most contentious thing that has occurred in WWE in some time. Having spent so much of his time as a babyface, the turn opens up new narrative options for WWE. The fanbase has debated Cena possibly working as a heel for years, and the reactions that have surfaced early on have been met with fascination and enthusiasm.

Social media exploded with reaction as some of the fans embraced the change while others reacted in shock. Fans are all waiting to see how WWE creative plans to capitalize on the new Cena character, particularly as he partners with today’s biggest stars.

What’s Next for John Cena?

With this heel turn, John Cena can potentially enter into new feuds, fight new enemies, and create a new era in his already legendary career. His ability to reinvent himself can potentially create some of the greatest storytelling WWE has seen in years.

As WWE continues to develop John Cena’s new character, one thing is certain the 16-time world champion has once again proven that he is capable of evolving and entertaining. Whether or not this is a short-term change or long-term change remains to be seen, but for now, the WWE Universe is on the edge of their seat eager to see what the new John Cena has in store.

John Cena Crowns Roman Reigns as the ‘GOAT’ Over The Rock, Paul Heyman Backs Him, Then Deletes Tweet

August 22, 2024, 11:41 am

When John Cena names someone the ‘Greatest of All Time,’ it’s a moment worthy of applause. Recently, the 16-time World Champion was asked to name his pick for WWE’s ‘GOAT,’ and he chose Roman Reigns over iconic figures like Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, The Rock, and Brock Lesnar.

In an interview on the Club Shay Hay podcast, Cena credited Reigns for the significant growth of WWE’s popularity since 2012, emphasizing the impact on the company’s stock. “In 2012, the stock was traded at $11. WWE/TKO stock is now at $117. That’s on his shoulders, there isn’t a better indication,” said Cena. This is not the first time Cena has recognized Roman Reigns as the greatest; he had previously expressed the same sentiment in an interview with Sportskeeda last year, stating, “In my perspective, I think Roman Reigns is the greatest of all time.”

Following Cena’s latest endorsement of Reigns, Paul Heyman stirred up conversation on social media. Heyman, who has managed Reigns, despite their absence from the ring together since WrestleMania 40, echoed Cena’s sentiment on X, urging fans to respect the Tribal Chief. Heyman posted, “#Facts. @JohnCena gets it right. Acknowledge our #TribalChief @WWERomanReigns, the true, authenticated #GOAT of @WWE,” but later deleted the tweet. However, he shared a screenshot of it on his Instagram stories, where it remained visible.

Heyman’s deletion of the tweet raised some eyebrows, particularly given his recent absence from WWE after being attacked by the new Bloodline, led by Solo Sikoa. Yet, with Reigns now back in the spotlight, it’s expected that Heyman will soon reunite with the ‘GOAT.’

Meanwhile, John Cena has announced his retirement from WWE. After completing the filming of Peacemaker 2 by the end of 2024, Cena plans to embark on a farewell tour with WWE, marking the end of his legendary wrestling career.

James Gunn drops bombshell tease for ‘Peacemaker’ Season 2 with Epic Helmet Pic!

April 15, 2024, 2:53 pm

‘Peacemaker’ has commenced production on a new season, following the conclusion of its first one more than two years ago.

On Saturday, James Gunn, co-chairman and co-CEO of DC Studios, posted a selfie to Instagram featuring Peacemaker’s recognizable headpiece. Gunn wrote, “Cloning this picture” “Day 1 S2,” with the mermaid emoji paying homage to the show’s audience. Vigilante (Freddie Stroma) revealed in the first season that he preferred the mermaid emoji, which can represent a variety of emotions from happiness to melancholy.

Gunn was the writer and director of the first season of the superhero series “Peacemaker” on Max, which starred the violently sensitive character Peacemaker played by John Cena. Along with these actors from the first season were Robert Patrick as White Dragon, the father of Peacemaker, Danielle Brooks, Chukwudi Iwuji, Jennifer Holland, and Steve Agee. Gunn talked about his ultimate goal for the character and his growth in an interview with Variety after the Season 1 finale.

“The most important thing for me in the first season was who Peacemaker was and where was he going,” he stated. “What was his personal journey? The Butterflies and the plot and all of that is secondary to who he was as a character and what his changes were, as well as the other characters and where they began and where they end because they all have little changes for themselves — with the exception of Vigilante, who’s sort of a straight line the whole time. So I know where Peacemaker starts and where he ends, but I’m playing with other ideas around that and how that’s gonna play out.”

John Cena Amazes Fans with Nude Appearance at Oscars 2024

March 11, 2024, 4:41 pm

Fans were surprised by the bold appearance of wrestler-turned-actor John Cena at the Oscars 2024 which was held at the Dolby Theatre.

Jimmy Kimmel hosted the 96th Academy Awards for the second consecutive year. Notable nominees include Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling, Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper, and Robert Downey Jr.

John Cena joined Jimmy Kimmel on the Oscars stage and appeared unclothed while presenting the award for best costume design to ‘Poor Things’.
Kimmel polled the Oscars audience, recalling the memorable moment. “I said, can you imagine if a nude man ran across the stage today? Wouldn’t that be crazy?”

Kimmel was evidently orchestrating a comedic setup when a shirtless John Cena unexpectedly emerged from the corner of the stage.

Cena told Kimmel, “I changed my mind. I don’t want to do the streaker bit. I just don’t feel right about it. It’s an elegant event, you know, you should feel shame right now for suggesting such a tasteless joke.”

According to Variety, Kimmel remarked that the skit was intended to be humorous, prompting Cena to amusingly retort, “The male body is not a joke.”

The audience erupted in laughter. Cena has a link to this year’s Oscars through his cameo in ‘Barbie,’ a film nominated for eight Academy Awards, according to Variety.
He then proceeded to announce the winner of the Best Costume Design award.

The Oscars 2024 were held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
