Watch: Salman Khan Announces Bigg Boss 17

Finally, the wait is over. The promo of ‘Bigg Boss 17’ is out and it shows host Salman Khan in a quirky avatar.

Taking to Instagram, Colors TV dropped the show’s promo, hinting at what fans can expect from the new season of the reality TV show.

In the clip, the Dabangg star is seen telling the audience that until now people have only seen the eye of Bigg Boss, but in the 17th season, they will get to see his three avatars.
The first avatar is ‘Dil’. Salman is seen wearing a red kurta and smiling at the camera.

Salman then opens the second door donning a black shirt and grey trousers which he paired with a cowboy hat and looking glasses.

“Dimag hi dimag (Brain),” he said while announcing the second avatar.

The third avatar is ‘Dum’. Salman could be seen wearing a bullet-proof jacket.

The teaser ended with Salman saying, “Abhi ke liye itna hi, promo hua khatam (This is all for now! The promo has ended)!”

The show is set to return in October. Salman has been associated with the reality show.
Salman has been entertaining the audience with his ‘Bigg Boss’ hosting stint since 2010. In fact, there are many people who do not like the format of the show but still watch it due to bhaijaan. Salman’s ‘Bigg Boss’ hosting avatar has definitely booked a special place in his fans’ hearts. Over the years, he has been seen forming a special connection with not ‘BB’ avid watchers but also with the contestants.

He recently hosted ‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ as well.

Television actress Jasmin Bhasin has recalled receiving rape threats during her stints on Bigg Boss 14. In her recent interview with Hauterrfly, the actress shared, “It was from another contestant’s fans. While loving someone, I don’t understand how they can start hating someone because you give what you have. You give love if you have love inside you. You give hatred if you have hatred inside you that is what makes a personality. When you meet someone you feel good on the other hand when you meet another person you feel irritated. So people give what they have. I don’t understand the same person who has a love for somebody else how can they have so much hatred for me?”

Jasmin continued, “So I never understood that concept and at that time I was very tense. It made me depressed for the first time in my life. But then I realised that these people don’t have any identity for sending me rape threats and calling me words that I never heard in my entire life. Nameless people who do not even have b*lls or strong spine come and show their identity and say, ‘Oh I have commented, I don’t like you.’ If they have guts, they should openly say it.”

Urfi Javed Opens Up About Facing Casting Couch

Bigg Boss OTT fame Urfi Javed is known for her bold fashion choices. Recently, she opened up about facing the casting couch during her early days in Mumbai. She told Bollywood Bubble, “The industry that we are in, is full of predators. We need to have that attitude, we need to say no, otherwise, people will take full advantage. Some people have even tried to do that. I have been through many incidents where I should have said ‘no’ but I couldn’t.”

The actress also narrated one incident that made her comfortable. “I remember when I newly shifted to Mumbai, a director called me for an audition at his home. Without a camera, he told me, ‘Act like you are my lover and come close to me and hug me.’ I was like what kind of an audition is this? Where is the camera? But, instead of saying no, I just hugged him hesitantly and told him, ‘Sir, I am leaving.” She said that such unpleasant incidences have taught her “important life lessons.

Gauahar Khan Drops Son Zehaan’s First Eid Al-Adha Picture

Gauahar Khan is celebrating her son Zehaan’s first Eid today. For the special occasion, Gauahar dressed up her baby boy in a customised outfit. Taking to Instagram, the new mommy dropped a cute picture of Zehaan. However, she did not disclose his face. In the priceless photo, the baby boy is seen lying on his bed, and he looked cute in a white-hued customised onesie teamed with a pair of green-hued socks. The outfit has a special message written on it.

It read, “My first Eid al-Adha with Ammi and Abbu.”

Gauahar and Zaid got married on December 25, 2020. Reportedly, the two met while shopping for groceries during the lockdown. The two began chatting and friendship soon turned to love.

TMKOC Producer Asit Modi In Legal Trouble

Mumbai Police has filed a case against ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ producer Asit Modi and Operation Head Sohail Ramani and Executive Producer Jatin Bajaj based on a complaint by one of the show’s actors.

The First Information Report (FIR) has been registered under Sections 354 and 509 (Assault or criminal force to a woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). However, the police have not made any arrests yet. The actor had filed a complaint against the producer Asit Kumarr Modi and two other members of the crew last month.

“Powai Police recorded the statement of the actor in connection with her sexual harassment allegations against Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s producer Asit Kumarr Modi and two other members of the crew. The Police will also summon Asit Kumarr Modi soon for his statement,” Mumbai Police had earlier said.

However, Asit Modi has denied the allegations.

“We will take legal action as she is trying to defame me and the show both. Since we terminated her services, she is making these baseless allegations,” he said in a statement.

Sohail and Jatin also refuted the allegations.

In a statement, they said, “She (the actor) regularly misbehaved with the entire team on the show. While moving out from the shoot, she rashly drove her car out at very high speed not caring for people in her way. She even damaged the set property. We had to terminate her contract because of her bad behaviour and indiscipline during the shoot. During this incident, Asit ji was in the USA. She is now trying to defame us and the show by making baseless allegations. We have already filed our complaint against these baseless allegations with the concerned authorities.”

Anupamaa fame Nitesh Pandey dies of a cardiac arrest at 51

Nitesh Pandey, last seen in Star Plus’ popular show Anupamaa has passed away at 51. The actor suffered a cardiac arrest in Igatpuri, Maharashtra for a shoot.

The news agency reported, “TV actor Nitesh Panday found dead at a hotel in Igatpuri, Nashik in Maharashtra. Prima facie, the cause of death seems to be a heart attack. A Police team present at the hotel, and investigation is underway. Postmortem report is awaited. Questioning of hotel staff and people close to him is being done.”

The actor’s colleagues were shocked by his death, and many paid tributes.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, the actress said, “This Eid extremely special for me. Also, I am wondering if I will be able to cook, as I am getting lazier by the day because the time is coming closer. We are counting the days until we become three from two.”
