Sunaina shared that she went to an international rehab centre during one of the hardest times in her life, while her father, Rakesh Roshan, was battling cancer, a fact she didn’t know until much later.

“It was a very, very tough course,” she said about the 28-day rehab program. “I probably wanted to come back on the 10th day. My dad said to come back. But my brother told me, ‘You’re not coming back.’ He never allowed me to come back. He said she has to finish it, only then she’ll not turn to alcohol.”

Sunaina described her rehab stay as “horrific” and emotionally exhausting, especially because phones weren’t allowed and patients were told to avoid stressful activities. When her mother, Pinkie Roshan, came to pick her up after the program, her father broke the news of his cancer diagnosis. “I was shaken up. Even talking about it is like living the moment I got to know,” she said.
She recalled getting angry with Hrithik for not letting her come back home early. “I fired my brother that day. I kept telling him I wanted to come back, and said, ‘You guys don’t care for me.’ But he said no. I got so frustrated I kept yelling at him,” she remembered.

Sunaina On Her Addiction

Talking about her addiction, Sunaina said, “For me, a can of beer became probably six cans… There were days I’d drink from morning to evening.” One day, she realised she couldn’t even remember what she had done the previous night, which scared her. “That’s the only side of me that I hated to the T,” she admitted.

Sunaina insisted on going abroad for rehab, saying, “In India, you can pay a small amount of money and get alcohol. I didn’t want that temptation.”

Hrithik’s girlfriend, actress Saba Azad, replied using heart emojis in the comments. Fans, who had been waiting since Krrish 3 (2013) for this news, were delighted.

“The Karan Arjun experience. I look like a young Kabir with Karan and Arjun. As an assistant, I remember Minerva being the main theatre on release day. Me and dad’s other assistant Anurag (2nd pic in the white sweatshirt), screened the print before the release and we were all incredibly disappointed. The print looked dark and dull. We got the entire screen washed, and as the dirt and grime dissolved into the large washcloth, we heard the manager say, ‘Aaj 15 saalo ke baad yeh screen dhuli hai’,” read his post.

Hrithik also remembered the challenges during the shoot of the song Bhangda Paale. He narrated how Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan decided to leave the set late one night.

“They decided to drive to Delhi, promising to return by morning. I was flabbergasted and jumped (literally) on the car’s bonnet to stop them. Call time was 6 a.m., and I couldn’t let my dad lose the day. Thankfully, he didn’t,” he shared.

The re-release of Karan Arjun has not only rekindled fond memories but also provided fans with a chance to witness the cinematic brilliance of the 1990s on the big screen once again.

During his appearance on Raj Shamani’s podcast, Farhan recounted how he initially committed to offering the part to Hrithik Roshan.

Farhan On His Promise To Hrithik

Farhan mentioned, “Hrithik and I did Lakshya, and we had an incredible, wonderful time working together. So I reached out to Hrithik and said, ‘I’m thinking I’m going to remake Don.’ He said, ‘Sounds amazing, dude!’ I said, ‘Let me write it and I’ll bring it to you.’ So he said, ‘Cool.’” However, as Farhan began writing, Shah Rukh Khan started to come to mind as the perfect fit for the role. “When I was writing, the only person whose face is popping into my head is Shah Rukh, from what I knew him. We’d spent some time together, hanging out at a party here or a party there, with some common friends in Delhi. So the way he was, not his cinematic image, but him, his personality, his wit, the little sarcastic sense of humour he has, self-deprecating, he can make fun of himself. When I was writing, I thought this guy is the best actor for this part,” Farhan recalled.

On Shifting Gears To Shah Rukh Khan

“But I’d already given my word to Hrithik,” Farhan continued. “So I called up Hrithik and told him, ‘I’m writing the film I spoke to you about. But the more I’m writing, I’m feeling I should reach out to Shah Rukh for this film. I’ll never forget, he said, ‘Farhan, you’ve to make your film, and in the best way possible. If you think he’s the guy, please go ahead and call him. Don’t worry about me.’ That is a very gracious thing.”

Interestingly, Hrithik made a cameo appearance in Don 2 (2011) as one of the disguises of Shah Rukh’s character. After Don, Hrithik and Farhan acted together in Farhan’s sister Zoya Akhtar’s films Luck By Chance (2009) and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011). Fighter Box Office Collection Drop To Single Digits After Three days

Fighter’s weekday business, which launched last week, is something of a “paradox,” according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh. The domestic box office numbers for the film Fighter, which stars Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone as air force officials, have dropped sharply. Mr. Adarsh claims that “the dwindling numbers in India are a complete shocker.” However the movie is doing well overseas; following a “excellent weekend” of sales, the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand have all reported high box office results. In his post about the statistics, Taran Adarsh posed the question, “How does one explain this paradox?”
After six days in theaters, Fighter has earned ₹ 134 crore at the box office, according to Sacnilk.

This week, the earnings dropped to single digits with just ₹8 crore on Monday and ₹7.5 crore yesterday in comparison to ₹29 crore on Sunday

“Fighter shocks India, rocks overseas. The underperformance of Fighter has sent shock waves within the industry. Imagine, the film ticks all the boxes – right from star names and director’s credentials to tremendous critical acclaim and positive audience feedback. Yet, the dwindling numbers in India are a complete shocker. To face a setback at the very start of the year is indeed worrisome,” posted Taran Adarsh.

“Having said that, while the numbers are witnessing a downward trend in India, the biz in key international markets continue to be strong, even on weekdays. Markets like USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand are still holding fort, even after an excellent weekend. How does one explain this paradox?” he added.

He’s isn’t the only expert who is astonished by very low numbers of this year’s first big film. “It’s disappointing to see Fighter drop on Monday. This is a film that deserved to be a success. Surprised that audiences have not stepped in, even though Friday was particularly good,” wrote trade analyst Joginder Tuteja.

Fighter, directed by Siddharth Anand, also stars Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi in pivotal roles.

The majority of Fighter’s revenue comes from metropolitan areas rather than broad distribution, and this is “the make or break Monday.”

Fighter is a Hindi-language aerial action thriller that tells the tale of elite Indian Air Force (IAF) pilots uniting to combat both external and internal threats to the nation in the face of impending disaster. The Air Headquarters commissioned the Air Dragons, a new force made up of the greatest combat aviators personally selected from throughout the Indian Air Force, to act as first responders to any hostile activity when militant operations spiraled out of control. Hrithik Roshan’s action thriller “Fighter” hit theaters on January 25th, debuting with a first-day box office collection of Rs 24.60 crore. The film experienced a remarkable surge of over 75 percent on the second day, raking in Rs 41.20 crore. However, on the third day, there was a nearly thirty percent decline, resulting in a collection of Rs 28 crore, as reported by Sacnilk. The movie, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles, attained a 29.58 percent Hindi occupancy on Saturday, contributing to a total India collection of Rs 93.80 crores. Sacnilk also noted that the film has garnered Rs 10 crore from advance bookings for day four.

Siddharth Anand’s previous directorial venture was “Pathaan” with Shah Rukh Khan, which received a thunderous opening, accumulating over Rs 100 crores in the initial two days and ultimately earning Rs 540 crores in India.

The cast of “Fighter,” an upcoming aerial action thriller movie, released a new poster on Tuesday featuring Karan Singh Grover in the role of Squadron Leader Sartaj Gill. Actor Hrithik Roshan posted the image to Instagram along with the statement, “Squadron Leader Sartaj Gill, Call Sign: Taj, Designation: Squadron Pilot, Unit: Air Dragons, Fighter Forever.”

He wrote a long note which read, “5 weeks. Start to finish. Post vacation to post-shoot. Mission accomplished. Thank you knees, back, ankles, shoulders and spine and mind. You guys love a good fight. I love you all. Now time to rest and recuperate and begin to find an even better balance.”

The actress was the star of the performance, igniting the audience with her soulful singing and dynamic dancing. Saba performed some breakdancing moves that were eerily reminiscent of none other than Hrithik Roshan, the idol of the country. For those who are unaware, Hrithik and Saba have been dating for a while. Even though they have never discussed their relationship, the couple is always willing to pose for photos with each other at public events.

Actors Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone have concluded the Italy schedule of their film ‘Fighter’.

The update was shared by director Siddharth Anand on Wednesday night.

“And it’s a schedule wrap! ,” Siddharth tweeted.

The ‘Fighter’ team has been in Italy for a while now. Recently, a picture from the shooting location surfaced online.

The selfie, clicked by Hrithik, features Deepika, Siddharth and his wife Mamta Bhatia Anand, and choreographer Bosco Martis, among others. The Fighter squad can be seen bonding over coffee in the snap.

The picture was shared on Instagram by actor Arfeen Khan, and showed him next to Siddharth. He wrote in his caption, “Fighter in action… amazing people, amazing shoot @hrithikroshan @deepikapadukone @boscomartis.”

Siddharth Anand announced the film in 2021.

Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi are also a part of ‘Fighter’, which will hit the theatres on January 2, 2024.

Meanwhile, Deepika will be next seen in the Pan-India action thriller film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ opposite Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan.

Hrithik, on the other hand, will also be seen in the action thriller film ‘War 2’ alongside Jr NTR.

Siddharth Anand has been filming two songs with actors Hrithik and Deepika Padukone at the beautiful Phi beach on the Italian island of Baja Sardinia. The trio has been filming a dance number followed by a romantic ballad.

Actor Arfeen Khan took to Instagram to post the picture. He wrote, “Fighter in action… amazing people, amazing shoot @hrithikroshan @deepikapadukone @boscomartis.”

Deepika can be seen in a white dress. While Hrithik chose a blue t-shirt with black hoodie.

Talking about the film, ‘Fighter’ also stars Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on January 25, 2024.
