“Who Are These People?” Soundarya Sharma Trolled for Defending Housefull 5

June 15, 2025, 2:18 pm

Actor Soundarya Sharma directly addressed the growing criticism surrounding the portrayal of women in Housefull 5 and firmly stated that she sees no signs of female objectification in the film. A journalist informed her that both the public and critics had slammed the movie for focusing more on the appearance of its female characters rather than their substance. In response, Sharma expressed surprise.

She said, “I don’t see that, I don’t see any of it. I don’t know, but since you’re saying it… I haven’t gotten time to sit and read all of these because I’ve been busy, counting numbers and excited.” She explained that the filmmakers hold the authority to comment on creative intent, while she, as an actor, performed according to their vision.

“It’s made in a very light way and with heart,” she added. She also questioned the critics, saying, “I don’t know who these people are who are talking like this.”

Soundarya Sharma Reacts to Housefull 5 Objectification Claims

Soundarya also responded to questions about the clothing worn by female characters in Housefull 5. She emphasised that Bollywood has long featured bikinis and sarees in its costume traditions. She stated, “It’s also the reflection of the society, not that they have plugged something. People have been wearing all sorts of sarees for songs and everything.”

She expressed clear confusion over the accusations, reiterating that nothing in the film struck her as out of place. She pointed out that actresses have worn revealing outfits in the past and argued that such choices often reflect modern society rather than suggest exploitation.

Reddit Slams Her

Despite her defence, Reddit users were not convinced. A clip of her interview has sparked backlash online. One user wrote, “Her answer was as bulls*** as the movie, but then that’s what she was supposed to say?” Another added, “Sadly, she is not a nepo kid… if she speaks against the movie or producers, she won’t get even a small role next time.”

Many criticised her response by arguing that her role was reduced to the male gaze. As Housefull 5 continues to stir conversation, Sharma’s comments add fuel to the debate about objectification and agency in Bollywood.

Housefull 5’s Shocking Secret: Two Killers, Two Endings, Which One Will Blow Your Mind?

June 8, 2025, 2:00 pm

Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 5 is breaking the mould with two endings and two killers. Both versions reveal Abhishek Bachchan’s character as a killer, but the mastermind differs and here’s what you need to know. In the comedy-thriller Housefull 5, starring Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan, a billionaire’s murder leads to an inquiry aboard a cruise ship. The twist? The mystery is further complicated by the fact that each of the three leads portrays a different Jolly.

Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B are the two versions of the movie that have been released. Although their plots and first two hours are identical, their conclusions differ and each one identifies a different murderer as the culprit. This novel strategy has generated excitement and drawn viewers back for more than one viewing.

Two Masterminds, Two Endings

Jalbhushan, also known as Jolly, played by Abhishek Bachchan, is identified as one of the murderers in both versions of Housefull 5. The killings’ mastermind, however, is revealed differently in the two endings.

In Housefull 5A, Dev (Fardeen Khan), the late billionaire’s son, is the villain who conspires with the fake Jolly to seize his father’s large fortune.

In Housefull 5B, the mastermind is revealed to be Maya (Chitrangada Singh), the company’s CFO. Maya is driven by gambling debts, orchestrates the killings in order to transfer the riches to the board of directors.

Why Two Endings in Housefull 5?

Only the actors knew that the two endings were different since they were shot simultaneously but separately. By encouraging viewers to see both versions, this double-ending strategy aims to increase ticket sales.

Multiplexes schedule two shows per screen for each version of Housefull 5A and 5B, according to distributors, who suggest equal screen allocation for both versions.

Sajid Nadiadwala Launches Updated NGE Logo Ahead of Housefull 5 Trailer

May 26, 2025, 2:24 pm

Sajid Nadiadwala has begun a new chapter in Indian cinema. He launched the updated Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment (NGE) logo before the Housefull 5 trailer, celebrating 75 years of exemplary storytelling and filmmaking.

The updated logo celebrates three generations of filmmakers and their journey from ageless classics to modern-day blockbusters. Without partnering with any external studios, NGE continues its domination with four major theatrical releases lined up for 2024.

Three Generation Legacy

Abdul Karim Nadiadwala started Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. His son, Sulieman Nadiadwala, later took over the mantle. The third generation, Sajid Nadiadwala, has taken the brand global. By producing films that entertain and inspire audiences of all ages, he continues this great tradition.

Sajid Nadiadwala acknowledged his committed team, the film industry, and the audience in his address. “We are still committed to producing high-quality films that inspire, entertain, and make an impact,” he declared. Furthermore, he emphasized that this milestone is about embracing the future but honoring the past as well.

New Logo, Timeless Symbolism

The grandfather hoisting the grandson, a legendary silhouette honoring intergenerational storytelling, remains in the revised NGE logo. The word “75 years” with a golden halo around it is placed on a cosmic background. It symbolizes evolution, timelessness, and the eternal appeal of cinema.

Blockbusters and Bright Futures

Judwaa, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Highway, Tamasha, Super 30, and Chhichhore—which even won a National Award—are some of the movies handled by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Housefull 5 takes the Housefull franchise to its fifth chapter. Other forthcoming ventures include a Shahid Kapoor–Tripti Dimri film and Baaghi 4.

From Shah Rukh Khan to Alia Bhatt, Sajid Nadiadwala has worked with Bollywood’s biggest stars to make consistent box office hits. NGE is one of India’s top production houses due to his capacity to adapt to the times without diluting its heritage.

Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment keeps expanding due to the vision of Sajid. As a testament to its viability as an independent studio, NGE has four significant solo releases lined up this year. The launch of the new logo is not only a celebration but also a promise to tell exciting stories for future generations.
