These materials instill anti-Hindu, anti-India views in children, shaping generations with deeply ingrained hostility towards India and its people.
</excerpt>

A dive into the school textbooks of Pakistan brings out how young students are learning to hate, not only India but also Hindus and Indian Muslims. Far from being rhetoric for extremist propaganda, these feelings are part of state-endorsed educational content.

Only days prior to the Pahalgam attack that escalated Indo-Pak tensions, Pakistan Army chief General Asim Munir once again reaffirmed Kashmir as Pakistan’s ‘jugular vein’, something echoed in school education. School textbooks, particularly Class 8 and 9 books brought out by the National Book Foundation, outline Kashmir as geographically and religiously connected with Pakistan. A line says: “Kashmir is like Pakistan’s jugular vein.”. Geographically, Kashmir has always been a part of the region that is now Pakistan. Most importantly, Kashmir is significant to Pakistan because it is Muslim.”

The historical account portrays India as the aggressor in the conflict over Kashmir. As soon as, after partition, the Indian forces took over Kashmir against the wishes of the people of Kashmir… India had a crucial role in the partition of East Pakistan as well,” states the textbook. India is constantly accused of upsetting regional stability and power balances, such as being accused of forcing Pakistan to test nuclear weapons: “India had carried out three nuclear tests at Pokhran on May 11, 1998… Nawaz Sharif took the historic decision to defy all international pressure and go nuclear.”

Depiction of Hindus in Pak Textbooks

The depiction of Hindus in these textbooks is seriously problematic. A Balochistan Class 5 history textbook refers to Hindus as ‘thugs who massacred Muslims, looted their property, and expelled them from India’. The textbook goes on, referring to Hindus as ‘traitorous’, blaming them for Partition violence.

A 2021 BBC Urdu documentary showed how Pakistani Hindu students feel excluded because of state-approved books calling Hindus ‘kafirs’ and attributing ‘all evils that have befallen Pakistan’ to Pakistani Hindus.

Historical leaders are also twisted. Mahatma Gandhi is reduced to merely a ‘Hindu leader’ who had a ‘disregard of Muslims’. Aurangzeb, however, is depicted as ‘heroic’, and textbooks praise his application of Sharia law as well as policies such as the jizya tax. The Indian textbooks, in contrast, depict Aurangzeb as a controversial leader and focus on his repressive actions against non-Muslims.

Congress Portrayed as a ‘Hindu Party’

The textbooks continue to politicize history by casting the Indian National Congress as Hindu-centric. “Indian National Congress (INC), thus, turned more into a Hindu political party than a mouthpiece of the entire India,” states one chapter. It also blames the Congress for imposing policies that alienated Muslims: “Gandhi and his younger followers took control of the Congress and approach of Hindu as a majority and disdain to Muslim rights generated hatred, jealousy and narrow-mindedness.

Again and again, the books contend that Muslims couldn’t believe Hindus or even the British. “The Muslims had learned an important lesson that they could neither trust Hindus nor British… The Khilafat movement in this respect brought in the concept of nationhood for the Muslims of India,” states another passage.

India Blamed for Pakistan’s Post-Partition Struggles

Even the administrative and humanitarian woes that befell Pakistan after Partition are blamed on India. One paragraph states, “Territory of the state of Pakistan was divided into two parts — West Pakistan and East Pakistan; these were separated by thousands of miles of hostile Indian land.”

Issues such as feeding the refugees, unavailability of resources, and government problems are held responsible for India’s supposed hostility. The Indo-Pak relations textbook says: “Because of this problem, the two nations never developed friendly neighbourly relations… Indian propaganda regarding West Pakistan’s exploitation of East Pakistan filled hatred… and led to a full scale rebellion.”

While he calls for mutual respect, his statement has drawn mixed reactions. Authorities have also imposed new restrictions on Namaz in public spaces, further fueling debate.
</excerpt>

Sambhal’s Circle Officer (CO) Anuj Chaudhary has again caused controversy with his statement made in a Peace Committee meeting. After his earlier comment on Holi, he now claimed, “If you want to serve Sewaiyan on Eid, you must also eat Gujiya on Holi.”

He specified coexistence concerning communities, claiming, “They should eat Gujiya, and we should eat Sewaiyan. But the problem arises when one side is willing and the other is not. This is where brotherhood breaks down, and that should not happen.”

Defending His Previous Holi Statement

The controversial remark was made at a peace committee meeting organized at Sadar Kotwali on Wednesday, preceding Eid and Ram Navami. Hindu and Muslim community members were present at the meeting to have peaceful celebrations.

Anuj Chaudhary also defended his previous remark on Holi, questioning why legal action was not taken against him if his statement was truly problematic. “If my statement was wrong, why didn’t people go to the High Court or Supreme Court? They could have had me punished,” he said.

Sambhal CO Anuj Chaudhary: “If my statement was so wrong, why wasn’t it challenged in the High Court or Supreme Court? They could have had me punished.” “If you want to offer Eid sevaiyan, you’ll have to eat gujiya too.” pic.twitter.com/5s7pSa0jFc

Holi Remark That Sparked a Political Uproar

Earlier, in a different Peace Committee meeting before Holi, CO Anuj Chaudhary had raised controversy by saying, “There are 52 Fridays in a year, and Holi comes only once. If someone has a problem with colors, they should stay indoors on that day.” This remark was politically criticized by opposition parties, who condemned it, while the BJP defended his views.

Namaz Restrictions on Roads

In the meantime, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Shri Sh Chandra explained new guidelines on Namaz in public places. He said, “Namaz will only be offered at traditional places like mosques and Eidgahs. People should not gather unnecessarily on rooftops for prayers. The use of loudspeakers will also be regulated to avoid inconvenience.”

The comments made by Anuj Chaudhary, along with the fresh limitations imposed on Namaz, have again fueled debates regarding religious harmony and police presence within the region. While some believe these remarks are meant to increase equality, others are critical of them as they can further divide religions.

</excerpt>

It has been 75 years since the Constitution of Bharat came into force. The first article of the Constitution (Article 1: India that is Bharat) declares our identity as our nation or as people. The Constitution itself declares without any doubt that this nation, which was known in the world as ‘India’ at that time, is actually the ancient nation that has shone light on the world since ancient times under the name “Bharat”. Technically, at that time, we were known as India in different committees at the international level. The meaning of the phrase India that is Bharat is also a pledge to restore our ancient name with a single consciousness. The name Hindu that came from Sindhu from geographical background, then Indica from Hindu, and from there India. All this history is known to everyone. Similarly, our country has been known by many names in history. But Bharat is the name that has no other word to replace it.

Bharat is an eternal Nation
The Nation is believed to have emerged from the penance of the sages who desired goodness for all. The idea that Bharat is a iq.;Hkwfe is an ancient concept. Loyalty to one’s own country is seen in all developed nations in the past as well as present. In Bharat, it has created the noble concept of “Mata Bhoomi Putroham Prithivya”. Today, the world accepts it as a philosophy of nature conservation and sustainable living. Since time immemorial, we have described our country by the word “Bharat”. It can be seen in the Vedic literature, the Mahabharata, the Bhagavatam, srimat bhagavat geeta, the Manusmriti, other Puranas, and the works of Kalidasa. In the past, it was sung about Bharat like,
“Gayanti Deva: Kila Gita Kani:
Dhanyastu te Bharata Bhoomibhage:
Swargapavargaaspada marga bhute:
Bhavanti Bhuya: Purusha: Suyat Naat.”
Bharat is an invincible spirit
Bharat is more than just a name, it is an invincible spirit.
“Bhaatisarveshu vedeshu
Ratissarveshu jantushu
Tharanam sarvatirthanam
Thena Bharatamuchyate”

Linguistics says that the word Bharat is a combination of three varnas: Bha, Ra, Ta. Each varna has a different meaning. Bha = One who shines in all the Vedas (knowledge). One which shines in knowledge. Ra = One who is interested in all beings. One who loves and cares for this entire nature. This is the basis of the concept of Dharma. Ta = One who shines in all the Tirthas. Tirtha means water as well as Shastra. If we take it geographically, it means all places. Every inch of land. If we take Shastra – it can be interpreted as being described or manifested in all subjects or Shastras. If all the other names are geographical terms, the name, “Bharat” was achieved through our Karma Yoga. The history and tradition of Bharat is the acquisition, creation, distribution and expansion of knowledge.
When this country was fighting to get rid of its long slavery, it had a goal in front of it. It was not just political power. It was not Swarajya. It was just freedom, swatantra also. To be able to express its own identity. Swami Vivekananda declared this, “Nothing less than Bhara’s victory over the world. victory should be the goal of this renaissance.” “Born with Sanatana Dharma and living with its ups and downs, the mission of Bharat is to prepare the royal path for universal welfare,” is the view of Arabinda Yogi. Bharat should express its identity not for the mere happiness and prosperity of Bharat. Those who do not say this, have lost their place in the hearts of our people today.

From self-forgetfulness to identity consciousness

When the Rajpath and the Durbar have turned into the ‘kartavya pat’ , and Sri Ram Janmabhoomi, Kashi, Ujjain, Amritsar and Nalanda have spread awe and become shining centres again, many are expressing their confidence and self-respect by using the name of our country as Bharat instead of India in the Kshatrapati for the banquet given by the President in connection with the last G20 Summit and in all the formal programs thereafter. The fact that many universities have officially decided that they will use the name Bharat instead of India, irrespective of the language, they use in those universities’ for day -to-day affairs. This is becoming a new movement. It can be assumed that the conference titled One Nation – One Name: Bharat will accelerate this in the Gyan Mahakumbh, which is being held in association with the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayag. The fact that India is starting to call itself Bharat is a manifestation of the invincible spirit of Bharat. It is a symbol of Bharat regaining its status and value on the global stage. It is the evolution of Bharat’s unwavering dedication to reclaiming its true identity.

Shabbir, known as Tiger and the father of the bride, explained that his daughter Saima Bano is marrying Irfan from Senpur village in Raebareli’s Maharajganj area. Shabbir revealed he chose to print two versions of the wedding card—one following Hindu customs and another aligning with Islamic traditions. He shared, “I have printed my daughter’s wedding card in two ways. One from Hindu religion and one from my religion. I am giving Hindu cards to Hindu friends and Muslim cards to Muslims. We have no dispute on religion. We live in unity.”

Shabbir further explained his intention behind this gesture, saying that by distributing Hindu-style cards to his Hindu friends, they would be more likely to preserve it respectfully, while his Muslim friends would appreciate the card in line with their beliefs. He shared his philosophy, saying, “Like their God is Allah, my God is Allah. Both are the same, only the way of believing is different.”

The gesture serves as a reminder of the spirit of Hindu-Muslim unity, and Shabbir hopes it will spread a message of communal harmony.

</excerpt>

The Devbhoomi Sangharsh Samiti (DSS), a pro-Hindu organization actively engaged in the Sanjauli mosque issue, has called on local vegetable sellers to display placards reading “Sanatan Sabji Wala.” This initiative aims to encourage a boycott of vendors from other states.

Members of the Samiti, in collaboration with the Civil Society Group of Sanjauli, distributed these placards to vegetable sellers, urging them to showcase them at their stalls and shops.

Vikas Thapta, affiliated with both the DSS and the Civil Society Group, explained, “We distributed placards with ‘Sanatan Sabji Wala’ written on them among vegetable sellers. Nobody was forced to display the placard on his/her stall, vegetable vends, etc. We distributed placards only to differentiate between local vegetable sellers in Sanjauli sitting for a long time and those who come here frequently, disturb the peace and vanish.”

However, sources noted that many vegetable sellers took down the placards shortly after DSS and Civil Society Group members left the local market.

Located 7 kilometers from Shimla, Sanjauli was the center of violent protests on September 11, which called for the demolition of an alleged illegal mosque. The situation prompted a heavy police presence, resulting in over 15 FIRs against protesters, including members of the BJP, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, DSS, and other groups.

The accused lured the victim to a secluded area near Gandhi Adarsh Vidyalaya on October 3. The young girl managed to escape and informed her family about the traumatic experience.

Prompt Action by Authorities

The victim’s family rushed to the Dhebarua Police Station and filed a complaint. The police swiftly registered an FIR against Nisar Qureshi under relevant sections of the POCSO Act, including 5/6 and 65(2).

The authorities took immediate action, arresting the accused and sending the victim for medical examination.

Protests and Demands for Justice

On October 6, the Hindu community staged a protest, demanding severe punishment for the accused. The protesters marched through the streets, seeking the death penalty for Nisar Qureshi and the demolition of his house. Some attempted to close shops in solidarity, but the police intervened to maintain order.

The situation took a turn for the worse when Muslim youths began hurling stones at the protesters.

The police responded with a lathi-charge to disperse the crowd and restore peace. ASP Siddharth, SDM, and Tehsildar arrived at the scene with additional police personnel to control the unrest.

Eyewitness accounts described the chaos, with some youths from the Muslim community using bricks and stones to attack those closing shops near Saraswati Shishu Mandir street. A sword was even spotted in the hand of one of the attackers.

Dhebarua SO Santosh Kumar Singh confirmed that the accused was booked under the POCSO Act and arrested. The police assured that action would be taken against those involved in stone pelting.

Protesters submitted a memorandum to the police, reiterating their demands for justice, including the hanging of Nisar Qureshi. The authorities have assured that the situation is now under control, with the accused behind bars.

The incident has highlighted tensions between Hindu and Muslim communities in the region. While the police have taken steps to maintain order, concerns remain about the safety and well-being of residents.

The police investigation is ongoing, with authorities working to ensure that justice is served. The community remains on edge, awaiting the outcome of the case.

In conclusion, the Siddharthnagar incident serves as a stark reminder of the need for vigilance and swift action against crimes, particularly those involving children.

</excerpt>

Ganesh Chaturthi is not just a festival but a profound spiritual experience for many, marked by the presence of Lord Ganesha’s idol. According to Vedic Astrology, the color of the Ganesh idol you choose can significantly impact the energy it emits and the rituals required for proper worship. Prashant Kapoor, an astrologer and the founder of AstroKapoor, highlights how the colors red, orange, blue, and white each bring unique divine influences to the celebration.

Red Ganesh Idol: Power and Courage

The color red, associated with Mars (Mangal), symbolizes power, courage, and determination. A red Ganesh idol is selected by those who seek to harness these powerful energies in their lives. This vibrant hue is believed to emanate a strong, warrior-like force, aiding devotees in overcoming significant challenges. However, the intensity of the red Ganesh requires careful and respectful worship, as its potent energy must be channeled with precision. For individuals ready to embrace the dynamic force of Mars, the red Ganesh idol serves as a formidable protector and guide.

Orange Ganesh Idol: Balance and Positivity

Orange, a blend of the vigor of red and the warmth of yellow, represents a balance between energy and calmness. An orange Ganesh idol is ideal for those seeking harmony and progress coupled with peace. The energy of the orange idol is both uplifting and stabilizing, making it a great choice for creating a serene and balanced atmosphere at home. The rituals for worshipping an orange Ganesh are more flexible, allowing for a gentler and effective practice that helps devotees maintain tranquility and stability in their daily lives.

Blue Ganesh Idol: Spiritual Depth

Blue, the color of the vast sky and deep ocean, signifies infinity, wisdom, and spiritual depth. Though less common, a blue Ganesh idol holds profound significance for those on a spiritual journey. The blue idol is said to resonate with energies of extensive spiritual knowledge, guiding devotees through the deeper mysteries of existence. The rituals for the blue Ganesh are often more complex, requiring a higher level of spiritual commitment. Practices may include keeping five Akhand Diyas (unbroken lamps) lit continuously, offering five meal Bhogs daily, and performing the pooja while wearing silk clothing. This idol is suited for those ready to delve into the inner depths of their soul and seek wisdom beyond the material realm, with the blue Ganesh as their spiritual guide.

White Ganesh Idol: Peace and Purity

White, symbolizing purity and peace, represents serenity and clarity. A white or natural-colored Ganesh idol embodies a calming and soothing presence, making it perfect for creating a peaceful environment at home. The energy of the white idol fosters tranquility, allowing for a space where peace can truly thrive. The rituals for the white Ganesh are simple and focus on purity of heart and intention. This idol is ideal for those who wish to cultivate a harmonious and serene space, free from intense energies, and invite the gentle presence of Lord Ganesha into their lives.

Selecting a Ganesh idol is a sacred decision, as each color brings its own unique energy to your spiritual practice. Whether you choose the dynamic strength of red, the balanced positivity of orange, the profound spiritual depth of blue, or the serene purity of white, the color of the idol will shape your worship and the blessings you receive. By understanding the mystical significance of these colors, you can align your spiritual journey with your personal goals and welcome the divine grace of Lord Ganesha into your life in a meaningful way.

He said that she (Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee) gets anxious whenever she comes across the ‘Bhagwa’ (orange) color.

The allegations come after a video that went viral showing a group of saints being brutally beaten by a mob in West Bengal’s Purulia district. “Someone had given the name Mumtaz Khan to Mamata Banerjee as her sympathy is towards Muslims. Maximum attacks on Hindus take place in West Bengal. Attacks have happened on processions on Ram Navami and other religious processions in West Bengal. When the rituals of Maa Durga take place and people go to worship her, then those pandals are destroyed,” Acharya Satyendra Das said.

He further added that Banerjee purposely ignites such kind of attacks in the state of West Bengal. “She (Mamata Banerjee) gets angry when she sees the ‘Bhagwa’ color and this is why she makes these attacks happen…These incidents of attacks are highly condemnable,” he added.

The opposition shows distress over the rise of religious crime in the state of West Bengal. Union Minister Anurag Thakur also reacted to this and feared the lack of law and order. “Appeasement politics has created such an environment. Law and order have collapsed in West Bengal…the question is why is there such anti-Hindu thinking?” Anurag Thakur told reporters on Saturday.

Amit Malvia, BJP leader and party’s IT Cell head, slammed the TMC- the ruling party in the state claiming that its a crime being a Hindu in West Bengal. He quoted on X , “Absolutely shocking incident reported from Purulia in West Bengal. In a Palghar kind lynching, sadhus travelling to Gangasagar for Makar Sankranti were stripped and beaten by criminals affiliated with the ruling TMC,” Malviya posted from his official X handle on Friday. He added, “In Mamata Banerjee’s regime, a terrorist like Shahjahan Sheikh gets state protection and sadhus are being lynched. It is a crime to be a Hindu in West Bengal.”

</excerpt>

Swami Vigyananand, founder of the World Hindu Foundation, reveals shocking details of Pakistan’s relentless attacks on Hindu temples and minorities amid rising tensions. He exposes the deteriorating conditions faced by Hindus and Christians in the country in an exclusive interview with ANI, emphasizing the urgent need for global intervention.

Swami Vigyananand expresses concern about the ongoing threats to minorities in Pakistan, highlighting the alarming decline in the Hindu population, which now stands at less than one to one and a half per cent. He dates this back to the post-partition era, citing the first riot in Bangladesh and the subsequent marginalization of minorities.

The Global Chairman criticizes Pakistan’s approach to heritage preservation, claiming that the destruction of Hindu temples is eroding Islamabad’s own history. He draws parallels between Egypt’s benefit from preserving the Pyramids and Pakistan’s disregard for its cultural heritage.

Swami Vigyananand, in a call for immediate action, urges the international Hindu community to band together and exert pressure on global bodies such as the United Nations and the European Union. He emphasizes the importance of protecting the rights of minorities, particularly Hindus and Christians, in countries such as Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia.

Swami Vigyananand’s revelations, as the World Hindu Congress takes place in Thailand, highlight the importance of addressing religious persecution and protecting minority rights globally.

The devotees lined up in the early morning to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva at the temple and also showed up at a special ‘Bhasma Aarti’ of Baba Mahakal performed here on the occasion. ‘Bhasma aarti’ (offering with ashes) is a very special ritual here. It is performed during the ‘Brahma Muhurta’ around 3:30 and 5:30 in the morning.

‘Sawan’, which is also known as ‘Shravan’ is the fifth month of the Hindu lunar calendar, and is considered as one of the holiest months for Hindus. During this period, every Monday is regarded as a highly auspicious time to fast and seek the blessings of Lord Shiva.

According to Hindu religious beliefs, Shravan month is believed to be the favourite month of Lord Shiva. </excerpt>

According to the Karnataka High Court, the absence of a physical relationship after marriage constitutes cruelty under section 12(1)(a) of the Hindu Marriage Act rather than under section 498A of the IPC because the marriage has not been consummated. The court’s decision comes as it throws out a case alleging cruelty against a man and his parents under section 498A. The couple apparently barely lived together for 28 days before getting married in December 2019. A complaint was made in February 2020 by the wife. Although the in-laws were also the target of the complaint, the wife’s major complaint was against the husband, a devotee of Brahmakumari.

According to reports, the husband is accused of watching videos of certain Brahmakumari sister Shivani. The wife allegedly said that the husband would tell her he was not interested in physical relationship and that love is not getting physical relationship and should have soul to soul love.

On the opposing side, the in-laws were accused of pressuring for dowry during the marriage and influencing their son to do the same. The wife’s plea resulted in a similar hearing, where the family court invalidated the marriage. The highest court observed that this decision was based on the argument that the husband and wife had no physical intimacy. In a petition to the higher court, the husband and his parents raised doubts about the charges brought against them under IPC section 498A and section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The Karnataka high court acknowledged the fact that the parents did not live with the couple. Furthermore, the court highlighted that neither the chargesheet nor the wife’s complaint described any incident or event that would qualify as an element of IPC section 498A during the 28 days the couple resided together. Justice M Nagaprasanna stated that the only complaint was that the husband had no intention of engaging in a physical relationship with his wife.

</excerpt>

In a significant development, the Varanasi District Court has ruled that all seven cases related to the Gyanvapi dispute will be heard collectively. The decision comes after the court reserved its verdict following the hearing. The Hindu side had filed a petition requesting the consolidation of the cases.

With the court’s ruling, all the seven cases pertaining to the Gyanvapi matter will now be heard simultaneously. This consolidation is expected to streamline the legal proceedings and provide a unified platform for presenting arguments and evidence from both sides.

The Gyanvapi dispute centers around the Gyanvapi Mosque complex in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, which is located adjacent to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. The Hindu petitioners claim that the mosque was built upon the ruins of a Hindu temple. The case has been a subject of contention and legal battles for many years. The decision to hear all the cases together is aimed at facilitating a comprehensive examination of the evidence and arguments from all parties involved. It is anticipated that this consolidated hearing will contribute to a more efficient and expeditious resolution of the Gyanvapi dispute.

The RSS chief’s remarks came while addressing the harmony lecture series organized on the occasion of the completion of 723 years of Prakashotsav of Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Ji on Tuesday. He said that India’s power will not be to trouble others but to protect the weak.

“We will not conquer others, we will not convert anyone. India is going to become Vishwaguru and we have to achieve that goal”, he added.Earlier on April 16, Bhagwat said that India will become ‘vishwaguru’ only by following the path of religion and will show the path to the world.

Bhagwat was addressing the Dharma Sanskriti Sabha in Madhya Pradesh’s Burhanpur.
“India will become vishwaguru only by following the path of religion. If we all keep following the religion, then in the coming 20-30 years, India will become the vishwaguru who will show the world a new path,” Bhagwat said.

He said that religion means the feeling of the welfare of the whole world.
“We have to fulfil our duty by following the path of truth. India does not have to become a superpower but has to teach religion to the world. People of different languages, sects and religions live in India. Despite being different, we know that entire creation is one. That’s why we are Hindus. We have to take everyone along with mutual respect for each other,” he said.

The Shri Shiva Vishnu temple in Australia’s Carrum Downs has been vandalized with anti-Hindu graffiti. This has left Australia’s Indian-Australian people group in shock

This comes seven days after the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Australia’s Mill Park was spread with enemies of India and anti-Hindu graffiti. . The demonstration came to be seen on Monday, 16 January after sanctuary devotees came for ‘darshan’ during the three-day long “Thai Pongal” celebration which is being celebrated by Australia’s Tamil Hindu people group.

Usha Senthilnathan an enthusiast of Shri Shiva Vishnu Sanctuary told: “We are a Tamil minority group in Australia, a lot of us came as refugees to escape the religious persecution.”

She asked head Dan Andrews and Victoria Police to make a severe move against the hooligans who are attempting to startle the Victorian Hindu people group.

On the night of January 15, 2023, Khalistan allies attempted to draw support for their mandate through a vehicle rally in Melbourne.

Nonetheless, they flopped wretchedly as under 200 individuals accumulated out of a right around areas of strength for 60,000 local area, as indicated by The Australia Today.

Talking to the media Hindu Council of Australia’s Victoria chapter President Makrand Bhagwat, said: “I can’t tell you how upset I am for witnessing a second Hindu Temple vandalized for Khalistan propaganda.”

Melbourne Hindu community member Sachin Mahate said: “If these Khalistan supporters have the courage they should go and draw graffiti on the Victorian Parliament building rather than target peaceful Hindu community’s religious places.”

As of late, the BAPS Swaminarayan Temple in the Mill park area of Melbourne was supposedly vandalized by enemies of India, and enemies of India composed anti-Hindu trademarks on the walls of the sanctuary.

Patel, an onlooker who did not want to reveal his first name, shared how he witnessed the vandalized walls of the temple when he visited the site.

“When I reached the temple today morning all walls were colored with graffiti of Khalistani hatred towards Hindus,” Patel stated.

“I am angry, scared, and dismayed by the blatant display of religious hatred towards the peaceful Hindu community by Khalistan supporters.” He added, “I’m furious, terrified, and frightened by the unmitigated showcase of strict disdain towards the quiet Hindu people group by Khalistan allies,” Patel said.

Explaining the Australian agency, BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir expressed that they are “deeply saddened and shocked by these acts of vandalism and hate.” It said that they have remained committed to “peaceful coexistence and dialogue to all faiths.” BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir further said that they have informed the authorities regarding the occurrence.

Meanwhile, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese in a video message has extended “warmest wishes” to Pramukh Swami Maharaj ji and the BAPS organization upon his 100th birth anniversary. The video message of Albanese has been shared by Australia’s High Commissioner to India, Barry O’Farrell.

However, after the attack, Manoj Sinha also held a high-level meeting in Jammu and Kashmir.

Firing a fresh salvo at Bharatiya Janata Party Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said, the Hindu-Muslim issue is being raised to divert attention from the real issues.

Earlier in the day Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra entered the national capital and held a mega public rally at the Red Fort.

Addressing the rally Rahul Gandhi said, “It is not Narendra Modi’s government. It is Ambani and Adani government. Hindu-Muslim is being done to divert attention from the real issues. Today degree holder youths are selling ‘pakoras’.”

Referring to Bhagwad Gita and Upanishads Rahul said, “In Bharat Jodo Yatra, dogs also came but no one harmed them. Cow, buffaloes, pigs, all animals came. This Yatra is like our India, I have not seen any hatred or violence among people while walking 2,800 km, I have not seen violence or hatred anywhere in the country. But when I turn on the TV, there is hatred all the time.”

Meanwhile, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge also slammed BJP and said, “BJP is in fear due to Bharat Jodo Yatra and is taking the excuse of COVID. There is no COVID anywhere. Nothing happened to anyone. PM Modi himself does not wear a mask. All this is being done to create fear and break this Yatra.”

Moreover, Kamal Haasan also spoke at Red Fort and said, “Many people ask me why I am here. I am here as an Indian. My father was a Congressman. I had various ideologies and started my own political party. But when it comes to the country, all political party lines have to blur. I blurred that line and came here. I stood in front of the mirror and said to myself – this is the time when the country needs me the most. Then a voice came from inside me – ‘Kamal… do not help break India, help unite.”

However, on 7 September Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Andolan started and on Saturday it entered the national capital. Furthermore, from Haryana foot march entered Delhi after starting from NHPC metro station, Faridabad around 6 am, and after that, it also visited Rajghat.

Delhi court frames charges against AAP leader Tahir Hussain and others in a case related to stone pelting and rioting in the 2020 Delhi riots case.

Meanwhile, in this case, the other accused Umar Khalid, and Khalid Saifi were acquitted of the charges.

The Court observed that the allegations leveled against Khalid appear to be umbrella conspiracy rather than conspiracy for the incident probed in this case.

While framing charges against all the accused including Tahir Hussain, Kadakduma Court Judge Pulastya Pramachala has said that due to stone pelting on the police team by the mob on the road outside the house of the accused Tahir Hussain, the police officers had to save their lives. Had to step back and retreat to save lives.

Moreover, the court stated, “All accused, including former councilor Tahir Hussain, Riyasat Ali, Gulfam, Shah Alam, Rashid Saifi, Arshad Qayyum, Liyakat Ali, Mohd Shadab, and other unknown persons, were involved in targeting Hindus and their properties.

The Court observed in its observation that all the accused were involved in a conspiracy to target Hindus and their acts were aimed at breaking the harmony between the communities of Muslims and Hindus. The accused disturbed public peace through his actions.

“This mob comprising of accused persons and other unknown persons, continuously indulged in pelting of stones and petrol bombs towards other properties including wherein this parking lot was situated. This property was under the use of persons from the Hindu community. The members of this mob broke open the lock of parking in this property, entered into this property, assaulted the persons, vandalized, and set on fire the property and vehicles parked there. These acts of the mob make it clear that their objective was to harm Hindus in their body and property to a possible extent,” the order stated.

However, Congress leader Rashid Alvi accused BJP and said, “They are criminals. There is no need to turn the case in terms of Hindus and Muslims. Unfortunately, it is the BJP-led central government who is responsible for what happened in Delhi.”

“His name may be a Muslim name. This is not about Hindus or Muslims. If he is an accused he should be punished,” the Congress leader said.

We have always heard Hindu women convert themselves to Muslims for marrying a Muslim man but in the Mandsaur district in Madhya Pradesh, a 19-year-old Muslim girl converted and tied the knot with a 22-year-old Hindu man on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the girl, Naznin Bano now Nancy, and Deepak Goswami met each other through the TikTok app and their friendship turned into love. They are residents of Kumbhraj in the Guna district.

“We met through TikTok in 2019. I had messaged him on Tik Tok only and then we started talking to each other. I took a phone from him and started calling him but my family members snatched the phone. They also beat up me when they saw the phone in my hand. Deepak lives in the next gully to my house. I need security, I want to stay in Kumbhraj city only,” Nancy said.

Nancy further added, “I got engaged to my aunt’s son in Indore, but I did not like the boy. I had made it clear that I will marry only Deepak. We came here to the temple and got married according to the rituals. Everyone respects me, I feel very good.”

“Her family members used to beat her a lot. She told me that she cannot stay there, she wants to stay with me. Her family members also threatened her that if she talks to me then they will kill her. Later, my wedding was fixed on March 20, 2022, and she asked me that I will not marry anyone. As a result, I did not marry. On May 13, we went to Ahmedabad. After that, I got the contact number of Mandsaur’s Chaitanya Singh Rajput. He asked me to come here and we got married following all the legal procedures of conversion and rituals,” Deepak said.

However, in the last six months, five Muslims have adopted the Hindu religion.

The plea of the Anjuman Islamia Masjid committee was challenging the maintainability of a suit to hand over possession of the Gyanvapi Mosque premises to the Hindu side.

Meanwhile, the court defers hearing till 2 December. Another petition was filed by Vishwa Vedic Sanatan Sanstha in the fast-track court of Varanasi.

After the alleged Shivling was found Kiran Singh, wife of Vishwa Vedic Sanatan Sanstha President Jitendra Singh Vishen, and others filed the petition.

Moreover, the Hindu side wants the immediate beginning of the prayer of Swayambhu Jyotirlinga Bhagwan Vishweshwar. The petition also demands handing over the entire Gyanvapi complex and banning the entry of Muslims inside the premises.

Under Order 7/Rule 11 the court said that “this matter is not maintainable.”

The Hindu side Advocate Anupam Dwivedi said, “Varanasi Court dismisses the plea filed by the Masjid committee challenging the maintainability of the suit in the Gyanvapi Mosque case. The next hearing is on December 1.”

However, on the premises of the Gyanvapi Mosque Muslim side is allowed to offer prayers till the matter is in court.

Hindus in Leicester expressed their displeasure with the media for portraying the violent altercations following the India-Pakistan cricket match as an example of Hindu-Muslim

animosity.
Hindu inhabitants complained that the media did not highlight their distress and

instead turned this into a Hindu-Muslim conflict, according to Arshia Malik in Asian Lite

International.

Malik continued, “However, it was evident that conflicts had the hallmark of post-game events

riots that occasionally dot the European landscape.” Nobody anticipated that the fights between

some young men of Pakistani and Indian descent in Leicester, United Kingdom, would escalate into

a Hindu-Muslim conflict.

The Muslim heritage journalists presented a biassed, one-sided perspective of the situation

and used Hindutva, the RSS, and Indian nationalism as their favourite scapegoats to cover for

the instigators, including UK-based radicals Maajid Freeman and Mohamed Hijab who have ties to

terrorist organisations.
According to Asian Lite International, on September 20 a mob violently

demonstrated in front of the Durga Bhawan temple in Smethwick, Birmingham, United Kingdom.

Following this, the Leicester Police Department made it plain that Hindus had “no role” in any

form of violence, despite the fact that the mob had been organised by numerous English counties

and cities to congregate on specific days and act out.

Charlotte Littlewood, a Research Fellow at the Henry Jackson Society, came to this conclusion

after speaking with locals of both Muslim and Hindu faiths, gathering data from social media and

videos, and reviewing statements and reports from the police.
On August 28, when India defeated

Pakistan in the Asia Cup T20 encounter, the cycle of violence began. According to a statement

from the Leicestershire police, a fight broke out between groups of young males in that county.
“These are worrisome because they will simply further polarise a society that was previously

peaceful. These stories have led a local problem to spread to cities like Birmingham, “Read the

declaration.

The plea seeking worship of the ‘Shivling’ that the Hindu side claimed to be found on the Gyanvapi mosque premises has been postponed by a Varanasi court to November 14.

The plea was scheduled to be heard today, but it is adjourned as the concerned judge would not sit in the court today. The court was expected to rule on the plaintiff’s three primary demands, which were to grant permission for Swayambhu Jyotirlinga Bhagwan Vishweshwar to immediately begin offering prayers, turn over the entire Gyanvapi complex to Hindus, and forbid Muslims from entering the Gyanvapi complex’s grounds.

The Muslim side is allowed to offer prayers at present, as per the reports. The scientific investigation of the purported ‘Shivling’ was refused by the Varanasi court in the previous hearing.

The Hindu side had asked for carbon dating of the object inside the wazukhana of the Gyanvapi Mosque that they believed to be a Shivling.
The discovered building, according to the Muslim side, was a “fountain,” though. On September 22, the Hindu side had filed a request with the Varanasi District Court asking for a carbon dating of the artefact they claimed to be the “Shivling.”
The Hindu side said that they would appeal the Varanasi court’s decision not to permit a “scientific investigation” of the alleged “Shivling,” which they claimed to have discovered on the grounds of the Gyanvapi mosque, to the Supreme Court.

The Varanasi court said, “It would not be proper to order the survey of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and by giving such order the age, nature, and structure of the said Shivling is known, even this does not imply the possibility of a just solution”.

Advocate Vishnu Jain, representing the side in the Gyanvapi case, “Court has rejected our demand of seeking carbon dating. We’ll move to Supreme Court against this order and challenge it there. I cannot announce the date as of now, but we’ll soon challenge this order in Supreme Court.”

“Though the court has rejected the demand of requesting carbon dating, the option of going to the High Court is available, and the Hindu side will make their argument before the High Court as well,” said Madan Mohan Yadav, another attorney for the Hindu side.
The Varanasi Court had stated that “if the claimed Shivling is damaged by taking samples, then it will be in violation of the judgement of the Supreme Court” in reference to the Supreme Court’s ruling from May 17.

The Varanasi Court had stated that “if the Shivling is harmed, the religious feelings of the general people can also get injured.”
The age of an archaeological object or find can be determined scientifically using carbon dating.

An FIR is lodged by a couple in Rjasthan’s Alwar saying that their parents are pressurising them to convert to another religion and stopping them from worshipping their gods. The parents have already converted their religion earlier, according to the police.

“A complaint was registered by a couple against their parents, alleging that they are being forced into religious conversion, and not allowed to worship their gods,” SP Tejaswini Gautam said on Thursday. Following the FIR further investigation into the matter has been undertaken, the officials said. The official said that an FIR has been registered and an investigation into the matter has been undertaken.

“An FIR has been registered and an investigation into the matter is underway. Prima facie the case looks like that of family issues,” she said.

Sonu, the person who lodged an FIR, said that his parents had converted to Christianity nearly two years ago and they forced them (the couple) to convert as well while also creating hindrances in following their religious beliefs and customs.

“Some members of my family have adopted Christianity. They protest against us when we pray to god. They even tamper with the pictures of our gods. They force us to convert. We want to live with Hindu customs. But they create problems. They tell us not to follow Hinduism,” he said.

The parents threaten to boycott them if the couple refused to agree to them.

“A case came to the notice of Vishwa Hindu Parishad that there is a family in 60 Feet Harijan area where the parents are making their children onvert to Christianity. But in the same family, other members follow Christianity. When the children worship their gods, they break the photos of the gods and stop them from praying. They tell them not to worship at home,” Dilip Modi, district president of Vishwa Hindu Parisha said.

A Hindu girl has reportedly been abducted in Hyderabad, Pakistan’s Sindh province.

According to the girl’s parents, Chandra Mehraj was abducted while returning home from Fateh Chowk in Hyderabad. A police report was filed, but the girl has yet to be found, according to reports.

This comes just days after three women from Pakistan’s minority Hindu community were kidnapped and forcibly converted to Islam, bringing to light atrocities against minorities in the country.

On September 24, a 14-year-old girl named Meena Meghwar was kidnapped from the Nasarpur area, and another girl was abducted while returning home in Mirpurkhas.

In the same town, a Hindu man named Ravi Kurmi claimed that his wife Rakhi was kidnapped and later returned after converting to Islam and marrying a Muslim man. However, according to the local police, Rakhi converted to Islam and married Ahmed Chandio of her own free will.

In recent years, Pakistan has seen a wave of atrocities against Hindus. Kareena Kumari, a teenage Hindu girl, testified in court in June this year that she was forcibly converted to Islam and married a Muslim man.
Three months earlier, three Hindu girls named Satran Oad, Kaveeta Bheel, and Anita Bheel died in the same way.

On March 21, a Hindu girl named Pooja Kumari was shot dead outside her home in Sukkur after she refused a Pakistani man’s marriage proposal.

In October of last year, a parliamentary committee in Pakistan rejected a bill prohibiting forced religious conversions, with then-religious affairs minister Noorul Haq Qadri stating that the environment was not conducive to enacting such legislation. According to Dawn, the minister went on to say that a law prohibiting forcible conversions would disrupt the country’s peace and make minorities more vulnerable.

According to the Central Intelligence Agency’s Factbook, Hindus, Christians, and other minorities make up only 3.5% of Pakistan’s population as of 2020.

After reportedly attacking more than a dozen women throughout California, a man was arrested and charged with a string of hate crimes against Indian women. The accused allegedly targeted at least 14 elderly Hindu women of Indian origin during a two-month crime spree that started in June, according to the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office, according to ABC News.

Officials claim that the man specifically targeted Indian women who were wearing traditional clothing and jewellery. According to reports, he pulled their wrists and made an attempt to take their jewellery. According to CBS, the man even beat the woman’s husband during one of his robberies.

Prosecutors acknowledged that the majority of the robberies were recorded in South Bay cities like Milpitas, San Jose, Santa Clara, and Sunnyvale. According to reports, almost all of the victims were wearing a sari, bindi, or other cultural clothing when the accused attacked them.

Prosecutors determined that the defendant stole necklaces worth at least $35,000 from the victims, who were aged 50 to 73.

According to local media sources, the suspect, 37-year-old Lathan Johnson of East Palo Alto, was detained by Santa Clara police and US Marshals.

District Attorney Jeff Rosen confirmed the attacks in a statement and said, “I say to our South Asian community that anyone who targets and attacks you will be arrested and treated with the utmost severity under our law.”

The attacks were initially recorded as “anti-South Asian” and were re-categorized as “anti-Hindu hate crimes” by the District Attorney, according to the Hindu American Foundation.

Speaking to a TV channel, DA Rosen said, “Ripping off their jewellery, dragging them down the street, breaking their writs, beating up their husband, terrorising them is much worse than a property thief.”

The Hindu American Foundation condemned the incidents and a member said, “We are facing an uptick in hate crimes and online Hindu-phobia. Seeing that we’re making progress in prosecuting to the fullest sends a strong message.”

Despite controversies in some places of Karnataka that are making rounds regarding Ganesha festival celebrations, Mandya has set an example of communal harmony. In Mandya, both the communities of Hindus and Muslims are celebrating the Ganesh festival together.

Both communities people are celebrating this festival with great enthusiasm and they have decorated the pandal with garlands and flowers. Meanwhile, to all the attendee people also distributed food items and ‘prasad’.

Moreover, one of the residents Mohamad Zakir said for the last 17 years they have been celebrating this festival through which they want to give the message of communal harmony.

“Harmony and love are more important than any other communal thing, we wanted to establish the Ganesha idol and give a message to society. We are doing it for the last 17 years. There was not much communal atmosphere and Hindu-Muslim issues earlier, it started only due to politics. I would like to request whoever creates such tensions to please allow us to live peacefully,” the local resident Zakir said.

However, in the celebration of Yatish N, the SP of the district also participated and said people are celebrating the festival peacefully.

“The festival is being celebrated at more than 1800 places. Here also, the festival is being celebrated peacefully, and there is no issue in Mandya as of now. We have made sufficient arrangements for the festivals,” the SP said.
