To ensure his bride’s vidaai was one of a kind, he rented a helicopter, just like in the legendary helicopter scene between Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in the movie Fifty Shades of Grey. The video, which became viral, left everyone on social media stunned.

Posted on Instagram, the video features the bride smiling as she is dressed for her wedding and sitting in the helicopter. The groom looks delighted as he takes snapshots of moments within the chopper, including the pilot, the bride, and relatives who boarded the flight. A gesture of a similar kind was in the news in Uttar Pradesh recently. A Jhansi farmer, after making Rs 50 lakh by selling his produce, spent some of the amount hiring a helicopter to escort his son’s bride home with dignity. As the chopper flew over the village, curious villagers came out to watch the unusual and expensive spectacle. Women from the family greeted the new bride with traditional rituals as she landed.

Talking to ETV Bharat, Deepchandra, the groom’s father, said, “To fulfill the dream of the elders, we attempted to bring the bride in a helicopter in all the weddings of the family so far, but somehow, it was not possible. This year, we had a bumper crop, which assisted in getting the bride in a helicopter.”

Groom Abhishek disclosed that the helicopter entrance was a group decision and was approved by all members of the family. “We wanted to celebrate in a big manner so that other villagers too feel motivated to do something special and help the village gain recognition,” he stated.

Bride Jyoti was thrilled with the novel experience. “She never thought she would fly to her new home in a helicopter one day,” the news article observed. She added that she was extremely thankful to her in-laws for making an extra effort to treat her to this memorable farewell.

Helicopter Crash in San Diego County, 1 Dead

A helicopter crash near the U.S.-Mexico border in San Diego County took at least one life on Monday. The accident happened around 11:20 a.m. in Potrero, a rural area, according to Cal Fire officials.

The helicopter crashed in a field close to Round Potrero Road. Within a short period after the accident, emergency responders were reported to have found debris at the site. Cal Fire stated that the helicopter did not belong to them.

There is no official statement regarding the ownership of the helicopter, its flight path, or what may have caused the crash. The victim’s identity is not yet known, but one death was confirmed.

This is the second helicopter crash in San Diego County this year after a separate accident had occurred in February.

A private helicopter operated by a private aviation company crashed near Paud village in Pune district while traveling from Juhu, Mumbai, to Hyderabad.

The helicopter had four people on board. Among them, three passengers are in stable condition, while one person, who sustained critical injuries, was rushed to a nearby hospital. Authorities are currently evaluating the situation, according to SP Pankaj Deshmukh of Pune Rural Police.

All aircraft, including helicopters, undergo thorough checks by pilots and engineers before take-off,” he explained. Nepal: Helicopter having 6 people on board goes missing

According to Nepalese officials, a chopper carrying six persons, including five foreign nationals, went missing on Tuesday morning.

Earlier the Information Officer Gyanendra Bhul revealed to the media agency ANI over the call that “The chopper was enroute to Kathmandu from Solukhumbu and got disconnected with the control tower at around 10 in the morning.”

Due to bad weather at Sathyamangalam in Erode a helicopter carrying Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and four others made an emergency landing on Wednesday.

“When the chopper was flying above the STR around 10.15am, the pilot could not continue further due to bad weather,” said Kadambur police inspector C Vadivel Kumar.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday Sri Sri Ravi Shankar was travelling to Tiruppur on his private chopper in which all the passengers are safe.

Once the weather cleared after 50 minutes the helicopter took off.

Earlier in the day Shankar was supposed to visit 1000 years old Prahalnayagi Ambiga Samedha, Kabaeshwar Temple.

Moreover, Ravi Shankar is a spiritual leader, humanitarian and Yoga guru.

CM Baghel fulfilled his promise; meritorious students of Chhattisgarh take helicopter ride

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel fulfilled meritorious students’ wish of riding in a Helicopter. Fulfilling his promise CM Baghel gave a helicopter ride to the toppers of class 10 and 12 examinations.

Taking to Twitter Baghel tweeted, “Helicopter ride Look how happy the children are! We promised to provide helicopter rides to the toppers of classes 10th and 12th and it has started today. 125 students will enjoy the helicopter joyride.”

Earlier in May 2022, CM Baghel made an announcement that the toppers of class 10 and 12 examinations will be honored uniquely.

Meanwhile, 125 took a joyride, and in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams 90 students topped the exam and in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exams 35 held the merit.

Moreover, at 8 am all these students were given the rides which flew around 18 times for the children as it has a seating capacity of 7 persons only.

“The program led by the CM is unique in its own way as it encourages the students, even from the Tribal areas of the state, to work harder and attain higher marks in the exams. Out of 119 students who came for the ride 84 were girls and 41 were boys, who hail from different districts of the state, including Jaspur, Janjgir- Champa,” Premsai Singh Tekam, Chhattisgarh Education Minister said.

A class 12 student, Kumari Kunti thanked CM Baghel and said, “I have received so many congratulations and appreciation as they say that I am the first daughter in the village to get a helicopter ride. This will also motivate the viewers to study well and achieve high scores in life.”

Another student Asif expressed this pleasure and said, the parents in the house were very nervous.

However, one of the student’s parents said, “It is very much satisfying to see that the Chhattisgarh government stood at its words and fulfilled the promise,” they said.
