A shocking incident unfolded in Jhansi on Thursday morning when Rishiraj Jaiswal, a distraught father, allegedly shot himself to death over his daughter’s love marriage. The tragedy occurred under the limits of Jhansi road police station, near Naka Chandravadni. According to police reports, Jaiswal, angered by his daughter Harshita’s court marriage to Anand Prajapati, took his own life with a licensed gun.

The emotional toll of his daughter’s decision to marry her boyfriend without his approval appeared to have been too much for Jaiswal to handle. Sources revealed that Harshita had gone missing about 15 days ago, only to be found later in Indore, where she had been brought back to her family. However, following a court order, Harshita returned to her husband, Anand.

Rishiraj was reportedly home alone at the time of the incident, as his wife and son were not present. Upon discovering his body in a pool of blood, neighbors immediately alerted both the police and family members.

As the news of Jaiswal’s death spread, tempers flared among his relatives, leading to a violent confrontation. They allegedly dragged Gulab Prajapati, the father of Harshita’s husband, out of his home and viciously assaulted him in the street. A disturbing video of the incident quickly went viral on social media platforms like X and Instagram, causing further outrage.

Police have recovered the licensed gun used in the suicide and have sent Jaiswal’s body for postmortem. The case is currently under investigation. Meanwhile, authorities are working to identify those involved in the assault, with the viral video now being used as evidence in the case.

Inspired by China’s air taxi technology, Trivedi, a Class 12 student at The Scindia School, has named the drone MLDT 01. After three months of dedicated work and an investment of Rs 3.5 lakh, the young innovator has made impressive strides in the field of drone technology.

Inspiration Behind the Innovation

The idea for the Human-Carrying Drone came when Trivedi was casually scrolling through YouTube and stumbled upon a video of China’s air taxi, a four-seater drone. The steep cost of the air taxi inspired Trivedi to design a similar drone on a more affordable budget. “I started researching how drones are built and decided to create my own,” Trivedi explained in an interview with News18. The result of his hard work is the MLDT 01, a drone designed with performance and practicality in mind.

Key Features of the MLDT 01 Drone

The MLDT 01 is an electric-powered drone that boasts a power output of 45 horsepower. It can carry up to 80 kg and maintain a flight speed of 60 km/h. Dabra SDOP Vivek Sharma said that no complaint has been filed yet formally. He added that if the victim files a complaint, stringent action will be taken against the accused.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Kushwaha had been introduced to the woman by an acquaintance, who allegedly promised her a job. After the altercation, the police reached the site but found the woman unwilling to lodge an official complaint. Kushwaha, later questioned by the police, claimed that two individuals accompanied the woman during the confrontation. He declined to provide further details, citing poor health.

The authorities have declared that they would take legal actions as demanded if the woman decided to file a formal complaint.

A massive fire broke out at the Mahakal Plastic Factory located in Vikky Factory area of Gwalior late Sunday night. Panic prevailed in that entire area and it is reported that due to fierce fire, which spread throughout in no time, that the efforts by 49 fire engines along with five foam sprinkler trucks for nearly five hours were sufficient to bring it under control. So, no causalities reported. The causes of that fire are yet to be investigated.

The Fire and Its Rapid Spread

The fire started at around 11 pm when a security guard of the factory saw flames coming out of the building. He immediately informed the police and the fire brigade. By the time emergency teams arrived at the site, flames had already spread extensively within the factory. The presence of chemicals along with cardboard and plastic materials contributed to the rapid spread of the fire, making firefighting even more challenging.

The authorities have now launched an investigation to find out the cause of the fire and the amount of damage it has caused to the factory and the goods stored in it. The CCTV footage shows Singh casually conversing with neighbors during his routine evening walk when two men arrived on a motorcycle. After a brief interaction, the attackers suddenly opened fire, shooting Singh multiple times before fleeing. Singh collapsed as the attackers fired a final shot and left the scene. Family members rushed him to a hospital in Gwalior, where he was pronounced dead.

Background and Ongoing Investigation

Singh, recently released on a 15-day parole due to good behavior, was serving a life sentence for a 2016 murder. Having come out on October 28, he was frequently seen walking around his neighborhood. Security concerns have surfaced as the community’s guard post was left unattended for the last two days, giving the attackers unrestricted access.

Upon learning of the shooting, Gwalior Superintendent of Police Dharmveer Singh Yadav and other senior officers inspected the scene and reviewed CCTV footage. The police suspect a connection between the shooting and Singh’s prior criminal history. Around 5 p.m., a red car without a number plate approached from the AG Office bridge. When signaled to halt, the driver sped up, causing Brijendra to land on the car’s bonnet. Gwalior: Elderly Mother and Daughter Discovered Dead in Apartment; SIT Formed for Investigation

In a shocking incident, an elderly woman and her daughter were discovered dead inside their apartment in the Garden Homes complex of Gwalior district, Madhya Pradesh, on Tuesday. The police received information about the incident and promptly arrived at the scene to investigate.

Identification of the Deceased

The deceased have been identified as Indu Puri, aged 81, and her daughter Reena Bhalla, aged 56. Their bodies have been sent for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.

He emphasized the secure nature of the residential complex, noting that it is monitored by security guards and that nearby residents and domestic staff are being questioned as part of the investigation.

Five Escape From Gwalior Juvenile Home By Removing Bathroom Ventilation

Five juveniles escaped from a juvenile home in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior district on Friday morning by removing the bathroom ventilation, according to a police official. The juvenile home, situated near the Govindpuri area and under the jurisdiction of Thatipur police station, saw the escape occur between 3 am and 4 am on Friday. Upon receiving information about the incident, police arrived at the scene and began their investigation, the officer stated.

“We received information from the caretaker of the juvenile home, which falls under Thatipur police station limits, that five juveniles have removed the ventilation of the bathroom and escaped from it between 3 am and 4 am on Friday. The concerned police stations from where they were arrested and brought here to the juvenile home have been informed and started searching for them,” said Rajiv Jangle, City Superintendent of Police (CSP).

Among the five escapees, one was charged with IPC 302 (murder) and had a case registered against him at Janak Ganj police station in the district, while the other four were detained on theft charges.

“A caretaker stayed inside and two home guard jawans deployed outside at the gate of the juvenile home. Whether the caretaker was watching the CCTV footage or not, it is a matter of investigation. Six months ago too, some children had escaped by jumping over the wall, at that time neither there was a boundary wall nor were there wires on the boundary wall, keeping that in mind all these arrangements were made,” CSP Jangle added.

Previously, six juveniles had escaped from the same facility by jumping over the wall on January 25 of this year. These minors managed to escape when they were taken out for their daily tasks around 9-10 am, during which they locked an employee in the kitchen room, pushed the home guard aside, and jumped over the approximately 5-feet-high wall of the campus.

Jan Sangh defied the Indira-wave in the 1971 Lok Sabha polls to win 3 seats in Gwalior region – Vijaya Raje Scindia from Bhind, Vajpayee from Gwalior and Madhavrao Scindia from Guna, though he later left the party. Vijayaraje Scindia lost to Indira Gandhi in Rae Bareli in 1980. In 1989, she won from Guna as member of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and retained the seat in 1991, 1996 and 1998. She was mother of Madhavrao and grandmother of Jyotiraditya Scindia.

Ram Awtar Sharma: He was an Indian politician and was elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India, from Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, as a member of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh. Sharma died at Gwalior on 29 October 1987 at the age of 79 years.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee: He was an Indian politician and poet who served three terms as the 10th Prime Minister of India, first for a term of 13 days in 1996, then for a period of 13 months from 1998 to 1999, followed by a full term from 1999 to 2004. He was the first non-Indian National Congress prime minister to serve a full term in the office. Vajpayee was one of the co-founders and a senior leader of the Bharatiya

Janata Party. He was a member of the RSS, a Hindu nationalist volunteer organisation. While he had won the 1977 and the 1980 elections from New Delhi, Vajpayee shifted to his home town Gwalior for the election. Vidya Razdan was initially tipped to be the Congress (I) candidate. Instead, Madhavrao Scindia, scion of the Gwalior royal family, was brought in on the last day of filing nominations. Vajpayee lost to Scindia, managing to secure only 29% of the votes. He served as Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, for various terms starting at Balrampur from 1957–1962. He served again from Balrampur from 1967–1971, then from Gwalior from 1971–1977, and then from New Delhi from 1977–1984. Finally, he served from Lucknow from 1991–2009.

Narain Krishna Rao Shejwalkar: He was a member of Lok Sabha from Gwalior. He was elected to 6th and 7th Lok Sabha from Gwalior. He also served as member of Rajya Sabha and was the Mayor of Gwalior Municipal Corporation during 1970–71. His son Vivek Shejwalkar was elected to 17th Lok Sabha from Gwalior (Lok Sabha constituency) in 2019.

Madhavrao Jivajirao Scindia: He was the only politician, who emerged as the MP from Gwalior for record five times, and a minister in the Government of India. He was a member of the Indian National Congress party. Scindia was the son of Jiwajirao Scindia, the last ruling Maharaja of the princely state of Gwalior during the British Raj. Upon the death of his father in 1961, and under terms agreed to during the political integration of India, Scindia succeeded to a privy purse, certain privileges, and the use of the title “Maharaja of Gwalior,” which lasted until 1971, whereupon all were abolished by the 26th Amendment to the Constitution of India. A nine-term member of the Lok Sabha, Madhavrao Scindia never lost an election since 1971, when he won for the first time from Guna constituency at the age of 26. He contested the election on the ticket of Bharatiya Jana Sangh (the precursor of the present day Bharatiya Janata Party), which his family had long patronised. When the Emergency, he fled the country into self-imposed exile in the United Kingdom. After he returned to India, he resigned from the Bharatiya Jana Sangh. He contested from Guna constituency as an independent candidate and won the seat a second time in spite of the wave in favour of the Janata Party. In the 1980 election, he switched allegiance to the Indian National Congress and won from Guna a third time. In 1984, he was nominated as the Congress party’s candidate from Gwalior in a last-minute manoeuvre to defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and won by a massive margin. After that Scindia contested from either Gwalior or Guna and won on each occasion. He died at the age of 56, in a plane crash in Motta village, which is on the outskirts of Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh, on 30 September 2001.

Yashodhara Raje Scindia: She was first elected from Gwalior (Lok Sabha constituency) to the 14th Lok Sabha via a by-poll in 2007 and again in 2009 General Election. She is was a Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare, Technical Education and Skill Development and Employment of Madhya Pradesh. She is also the former Minister for Commerce, Industries and Employment in Government of Madhya Pradesh. She is the youngest daughter of Jivajirao Scindia, Maratha Maharaja of Gwalior and the Late Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia of Gwalior. She is a Member of Legislative Assembly from Shivpuri constituency in Madhya Pradesh since 2013.

Narendra Singh Tomar: He is an Indian politician and a member of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly. He is the former Minister of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare. He has been Minister of Rural Development, Minister of Panchayati Raj, Minister of Mines and Minister of Parliamentary Affairs in the Government of India during different periods of the First and Second Modi ministry. He is a leader of Bharatiya Janata Party. He was also a member of Fifteenth Lok Sabha from 2009 to 2014 from Morena; Sixteenth Lok Sabha from 2014 to 2019 from Gwalior and 17th Lok Sabha from 2019 to 2023 from Morena. In 2019, he changed his constituency and was re-elected to the Lok Sabha from Morena.

Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar: He is an Indian politician. He was elected to the Lok Sabha, lower house of the Parliament of India from Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh in the 2019 Indian general election as member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. His father Narain Krishna Rao Shejwalkar was elected to 6th Lok Sabha and 7th Lok Sabha from Gwalior (Lok Sabha constituency). He was also a Mayor of Gwalior Municipal Corporation.

Madhya Pradesh: Gwalior Municipal Corporation’s eco green company employees goes on strike to demand dues

A portion of the eco-green company workers at Gwalior Municipal Corporation have gone on strike in protest of not only unpaid salaries that have been owed to them for three months, but also money from their PF (Provident Fund). The workers, who have been on strike since January 12, have threatened to stage a protest outside the district’s municipal corporation office tomorrow if their demands are not met. They will also bring their families along.

One of the employees of eco green company, Arun Mishra said, “We have been on strike from January 12 and will continue it till our demands are not met. We have not received salaries for the last three months and the PF money for the last three years. If our demands are not fulfilled then we will stage a protest along with our family members outside the municipal corporation office from tomorrow.”
Meanwhile, Additional Commissioner of Municipal Corporation, Vijay Raj said that the salary issue has been resolved and the municipal corporation committee will look into other demands of the employees.

He said that a committee of the municipal corporation is currently investigating the employee’s other demands and holding discussions with them to find a quick solution and put an end to the strike.

Cold, dense fog engulfs in Bhopal; Met office predicts light rainfall in Gwalior Chambal region in next 24 hours

Low visibility was caused by a cold wave and thick fog that engulfed the state capital Bhopal on Tuesday morning. The same weather is expected throughout the state over the next 24 hours, with light rainfall in the Gwalior Chambal region, according to the Met office’s prediction.

“The fog will continue in the next 24 hours in the state and light rainfall may also occur in Gwalior Chambal division. Narsinghpur recorded the minimum temperature in the state which is 10.4 while the minimum temperature in Bhopal was recorded 15.6 degrees. The temperature is likely to remain the same in the next 24 hours,” said Ramendra Kumar, Meteorologist, IMD Bhopal.
Talking about the visibility in the state capital, he said that the visibility at the airport in Bhopal was 400 metres at around 3:00 am and after that it became 800 metres.
He further said, “Currently, shallow to moderate fog is observed in the western Madhya Pradesh and moderate fog seen in Gwalior-Chambal divisions. The weather is likely to remain the same for the next two to three days. It will be cold today and also there is a possibility of light rain in Gwalior Chambal division, after that the weather will remain dry and only fog will continue from shallow to moderate and moderate to dense in some parts of the state.”

Gwalior, Naugaon, Datia, Shivpuri and Khajurao were among the cities that reported the lowest temperatures in the state. Gwalior with a minimum temperature of 7.9 degrees was the coldest.

Gwalior ASP booked in fake caste certificate case

According to officials on Wednesday, Madhya Pradesh police have filed a case against an additional superintendent of police (ASP) in relation to a case involving a forged caste certificate in the Vidisha district. Police say the complaint was made on December 7 at the district’s Anandpur police station under pertinent sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), which includes cheating. The investigation was conducted by a state-level investigative committee. Amritlal Meena, the accused ASP, is presently assigned to the Gwalior district.

“A case has been registered against the concerned ASP under IPC sections 420, 467, 468, and 471 in connection with a fake caste certificate issue. The action has been taken based on a report from the state-level investigation committee. We are further looking into it,” Vidisha ASP Sameer Yadav said.

“The concerned ASP informed that on December 8, the Madhya Pradesh High Court granted a restoration order (about restoring the previous stay order) into the matter. Nonetheless, the case is registered into the matter as of now,” ASP Yadav added.

The FIR copy states that a state-level committee that the Madhya Pradesh government established to examine the dubious caste certificates of Scheduled Tribes issued a decision on February 19, 2016, stating that the dubious certificate of Scheduled Tribe was issued by Amritlal Meena on October 29, 1991, and that the committee canceled it after giving it some thought and directed that legal and procedural action be taken.

BJP national president JP Nadda visits Gwalior ahead of counting of votes

JP Nadda, the national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), traveled to Gwalior on Friday in advance of the Madhya Pradesh assembly poll vote counting.
Among those wishing Nadda a warm welcome at the Gwalior airport were Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, state Home Minister Narottam Mishra, and Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
The BJP President is reportedly on a two-day visit when he arrives here. He will spend the night in Gwalior after offering prayers at the Pitambara Peeth temple in Datia in the evening.

Meanwhile, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan interacted with the media persons over the exit polls result released on Thursday evening and said the BJP would come back again with a huge majority in the state.

15-year-old girl swallows cell phone in Gwalior

On Friday, a 15-year old girl in Gwalior allegedly swallowed a mobile phone, after which a team of doctors in the district performed an operation and successfully took out the phone from her stomach.

She is a resident of Amayan locality in Bhind district. She got angry over something and swallowed her keypad mobile phone. Her family members, after seeing her condition, took her to the district hospital, but seeing the seriousness of the matter, the doctors referred her to Jaya Arogya hospital in Gwalior. When the doctors examined her, they found that the mobile was stuck in the girl’s stomach. The doctors decided to perform the surgery to take out the mobile. After the operation of around an hour, the doctors took out the mobile from the girl’s stomach.

Dr. R K S Dhakad, the Jaya Arogya Hospital’s superintendent, stated: “A girl swallowed a cell phone in the Bhind district. It was fortunate that she was sent to Gwalior right away by the Bhind medical staff. Here, medical professionals operated and removed the mobile phone from the girl stomach. The girl is completely safe and sound.

The girl is around 15 years old and she is completely healthy, Dhakad added.

Delhi wakes up to dense fog

In the national capital, the cold wave continues as on Tuesday the minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 7 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, in Delhi dense fog was observed as the cold wave. The India Meteorological Department on Monday predicted cold day/severe cold day conditions in the national capital.

“Cold Day/Severe Cold Day Conditions very likely in some parts over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and West Rajasthan and cold day conditions in isolated pockets over Uttarakhand on 26th and 27th December 2022,” IMD said.

Moreover, in Delhi and nearby regions dense to very dense fog has been predicted by the weather department.

“Due to prevailing light wind and high moisture in lower tropospheric levels, Dense to Very Dense Fog is very likely to continue over some parts of Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, and West Rajasthan during the next 48 hours,” the IMD said.

Earlier on Sunday Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 5.3 degrees celsius and on Monday a cold wave and foggy conditions were seen in Delhi.

Talking about other states in the Gwalior-Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh the temperature dipped below 4 degrees Celsius and the cold wave is sweeping through the region.

“Due to the onset of northern winds, a cold wave is being felt from today onwards in the region,” Hukam Singh, Gwalior Meteorological Centre in-charge said on Monday.

Baby girl born with four legs in Madhya Pradesh

In a rare incident in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior district, a woman named Aarti Kushwaha gave birth to a baby girl with ‘four’ legs.

Meanwhile, the woman was born at the Women and Child Pediatrics Department of Kamla Raja Hospital here on Wednesday. The newborn baby girl is healthy and is 2.3kg. A baby was examined by the superintendent of the Jayarogya Hospital Group, Gwalior.

Talking to the media Superintendent of Jayarogya Hospital Group Dr. RKS Dhakad said, “The infant has four legs at birth, she has a physical deformity. Some foetuses become extra, which is called Ischiopagus in the language of medical science. When the embryo divides into two parts, the body develops in two places. The lower part, below the waist of this baby girl, has developed with two extra legs, but those legs are inactive.”

“Right now the doctors of the Paediatric Department are checking whether there is any other deformity in any part of the body. After examination, if she is healthy, then those legs will be removed through surgery. So that she can live a normal life,” Dhakad said.

Superintendent further said, “The baby girl is currently admitted to the Special Newborn Care Unit of the Pediatrics Department of Kamla Raja Hospital. The health condition of the infant is continuously being monitored. The doctors are talking about removing her extra legs by surgery. At present, the baby girl is completely healthy.”

Moreover, a woman gave birth to a baby with two heads, three arms, and two legs in Madhya Pradesh’s Ratlam in March 2022.

“This is the first child of the couple, earlier in the sonography report, it was revealed that there are two children. It is a rare case, its life will not be very long,” Dr. Brajesh Lahoti said.

“The child weighs around 3 kg and has two spinal cords and one stomach. It is a very complex condition. The child has a condition called Dicephalic Parapagus,” Lahoti stated.

Policewoman saves man’s life in Gwalior

A boy fainted on the road in Gwalior after which a woman police officer on duty saved a man’s life by giving him Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

“I was on duty at a checkpoint near a temple. During my duty, a boy came running to me. He said that a man was lying unconscious on the road. I rushed to the spot and found him unconscious on the road. There was no movement,” Sonam Prasar, Subedar Traffic Police said.

“During our training, we were taught how to deal with such emergency-like situations. So I immediately decided to give him CPR,” Prasar said.

‘He apparently experienced chest pain. As soon as I started the CPR, he started to regain consciousness,” a woman officer said.

Meanwhile, the boy regained full consciousness and answered the question of the woman officer about how is he feeling, the boy replied, “I am reeling under the pain.”

“First medical aid (CPR) to such patients helps to save them before being admitted to hospital for further treatment,” Prasar added.

Moreover, the man who fell unconscious has been identified as Anil Upadhyay a local resident, and later Upadhyay was taken to the hospital.

“I spoke with him over the phone and enquired about his health. His Electrocardiogram (ECG) has been conducted. He is fine. He has been discharged now,” Sonam stated.

However, Upadhyay expressed gratitude towards the traffic officer for saving his life.

‘They were very happy. That I have saved the life of a member of their family. They gave their blessings and best wishes to me,” Sonam said.

“We are also humans. Our job is to serve the people of this country. We always keep this in our mind,” Sonam said.

Gwalior Zoo administration special arrangements to protect birds, animals from cold

Ahead of the winter season grass curtains, heaters and bulbs are being used to protect birds, animals, and reptiles from the chilly cold. These special arrangements have been made by the zoo administration in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior.

Due to the changing weather conditions in the region, the diet plans have been changed by the zoo management.

“As the winter season is next to the door, in the first stage of protecting the reptiles, we have put up 200-watt bulbs in the glass cage of snakes. We light those blubs in the evening from around 7 pm till morning. Similarly, grass curtains and canvas curtains are used in the bird cages,” Gaurav Parihar Gandhi Zoological Garden curator said.

“We use heaters in the enclosures of large animals such as lions, tigers, and leopards to keep the temperature warm. We also their diet, we feed roasted gram and peanuts to birds and animals as it contains oil and keeps them warm,” Parihar said.

Parihar further said, “Reptiles (snake, crocodile, alligator) are cold-blooded and they get more affected by the winter. They feel pleasant in the temperature range of 25 to 30 degrees Celsius. We put them in the glass cage and maintain the temperature in the required range. In case of cold increases, we light the bulb for 24 hours.”

However, in the zoo, there are around 550 animals, birds, and reptiles.

MP: Barauni-Gwalior Express two coaches derail

The Barauni-Gwalior Express two coaches were derailed on Friday while no passenger was onboard in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior.

Meanwhile, the train was derailed when the train was moving from Platform number 2 to the yard.

Gwalior: Teacher booked for sexually harassing girls in school

In Gwalior, a government school instructor was detained for sexually harassing a minor girl student. According to the victims, the teacher threatened to murder them and have them fail their exams if they didn’t participate.

When a girl told her mother about the incident, it came to light. The other victims, who were between the ages of six and eight, also admitted that a teacher by the name of Gwalior (58) used to drag them into a classroom and demand that they strip off their clothes.

The teacher also took pictures of them in their underwear and enjoyed using them.

When the victims’ parents learned about the incident, they went to the Utila police station and complained about the teacher.

They told the station in-charge, Awadhesh Singh Kushwaha, about the incidences, and he filed an FIR against the defendants under the POCSO Act’s protection of children from sexual offences and the rape statute.

The teacher was detained by the authorities for sexually molesting the girls as soon as they arrived at his home. Further investigation is underway.

Heavy rains to lash eastern parts of Madhya Pradesh over next 2-3 days

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted heavy rain over the next 2-3 days in the eastern part of Madhya Pradesh.

“Due to turf line coming from Jaipur and Gwalior, circulation has been created over the Bay of Bengal, rain is expected not in the western parts, but in the eastern parts of Madhya Pradesh. Also, the frequency will increase in the coming days. So, heavy rain activity is expected in the coming days. It will remain for the coming 2-3 days,” IMD scientist SN Sahu said.

“Regarding rain, 27 mm of rain was reported in Panchmarhi, 10.2 mm in Rewa, 5.4 mm in Bairagarh, and 30.8 mm in Umaria. So, currently, low pressure is not expected, but it maybe it can happen in a few days”, Sahu further said.

According to IMD scientists, in Gwalior and Jaipur, a flood-like situation is not expected.

“As of now, flood is not expected, but if some more rain happens over the logged water there, it might look like a flood-type situation, but flood as of now is not expected,” Saha said.
