Hollywood Chamber of Commerce’s Walk of Fame selection committee selected these 35 new stars from “hundreds” of suggestions in a June 20 meeting. The board of directors for the Chamber voted on and approved the list on June 25.

75 Coaching Centres to Be Set Up Across India

Padukone School of Badminton will begin by opening 75 grassroots coaching centres in 18 Indian cities. These include Bengaluru, NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, Jaipur, Pune, Nashik, Mysuru, Panipat, Dehradun, Udaipur, Coimbatore, Sangli, and Surat.

The initiative plans to expand to 100 centres by the end of the year, and eventually reach 250 centres within three years. The aim is to make quality badminton training accessible to aspiring players across the country.

“We should understand that India is a developing country. We are not a developed nation. Our economy is probably 186th in the world if you look at the per capita income,” Rana explained.

Rana also addressed whether actors are forced to work longer hours. “Nobody is forcing anybody. It is a job. Like nobody can force you, ‘You have to do this show.’ It’s a choice. Everyone has an opinion on what is important in their life,” he said. “There are actors who shoot for only 4 hours, but that is their system of working.”

Despite entering Bollywood from outside the industry, both said they never felt excluded. “I never felt like I was an outsider,” said Padukone. “What mattered to me was my dedication, hard work, and discipline.” At 18, Padukone left Bengaluru and moved to Mumbai. A few years later, she made her debut in Om Shanti Om (2007) opposite Shah Rukh Khan. “I was never made to feel like a newcomer. I got a double role in my debut opposite the country’s biggest superstar. That’s rare,” she said. “It felt like home.”
