Salman Khan Gets New Death Threat, Bomb Scare Reported

Actor Salman Khan has been given a new death threat. On Monday morning, it was reported that the WhatsApp number of the Mumbai Traffic Police helpline in Mumbai received a threat message saying that they would kill the actor after breaking into his residence and blow up his vehicle with a bomb. Mumbai Police have filed a complaint and are currently investigating it.

Fresh Death Threat to Salman Khan

Several news channels on Monday morning informed that Salman Khan had been issued a new threat to his life by an anonymous individual. In the text message, which was sent on the WhatsApp number of Mumbai Traffic Police helpline, the actor was threatened with being killed in his home. The actor lives with his family in Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, Mumbai. Last year, shots were fired at Salman’s house by shooters associated with the Bishnoi gang, following which the actor’s security was beefed up. This is the fifth time the actor has received a threat to his life in the last two years.

Mumbai Police has apparently filed a complaint against unidentified individuals regarding the new death threat. According to sources, the police are now attempting to track the source of the threatening message.

Regular Death Threats to Salman Khan

Mumbai Police had also last year exposed a conspiracy to kill the actor at his farmhouse in Panvel. Lawrence Bishnoi gang shooters were allegedly stalking the actor and plotting to kill him when he came to the farmhouse. Lawrence Bishnoi has publicly discussed his hatred for the actor, which is because of a blackbuck poaching case against the actor in the 90s. Blackbucks are revered by the Bishnoi community. Lawrence has ordered Salman to visit Rajasthan and apologize for ‘killing a blackbuck’, otherwise he will be murdered. It is important to note that the court has withdrawn the poaching case against Salman.

Recent Work of Salman Khan

Salman was last seen on the big screen in AR Murugadoss’ Bollywood return, Sikandar. The movie hit the theatres on Eid, but failed to make a good beginning. Sikandar has grossed slightly more than ₹200 crore worldwide and ₹109 crore in India, but is now decelerating. It is most likely that the movie will complete its run below ₹250 crore, which will be a disappointing amount for Salman.

Shah Rukh Khan Death Threat: Police Arrest Lawyer, Claims Phone Was Stolen

Mumbai Police Tuesday arrested a man in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, for allegedly issuing death threats to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Last week, the Bandra police received a threatening call demanding ₹50 lakh, for which a case was registered under sections 308(4) and 351(3)(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, that deals with extortion and criminal intimidation.

The call was traced to a lawyer from Raipur, Faizan Khan, who had used the caller’s cell phone number, police said. Despite summoning him even after he failed to respond, Mumbai Police had to visit Raipur to locate him within Pandri police station limits. They arrested Khan.

He is claiming that the phone was stolen. He said that he reported his missing case from Khamardih police station on November 2. Talking to the media, Khan said, “My phone was stolen on November 2 and I complained. I told Mumbai police about it. They interrogated me for about two hours.”

Khan revealed that he had filed a complaint against Shah Rukh Khan concerning a line in the 1994 film *Anjaam*, referring to deer hunting, as he was worried about his relations with Rajasthan’s Bishnoi community. “The Bishnoi community… is my friend. It is in their religion to protect deer. So, if a Muslim says something like this about deer, it is condemnable. Therefore, I objected,” he said.

A 20-year-old man has been arrested in Noida for allegedly issuing death threats to Bollywood actor Salman Khan and Zeeshan Siddiqui, a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) and son of the late NCP (Ajit Pawar) leader Baba Siddique, who was tragically shot dead on October 12. The accused, identified as Gufran Khan, is now in custody, having been taken on a transit remand by the Mumbai Police.

Gyanvapi Judge Who Ordered Videography Of Varanasi Mosque Receive Death Threats

Additional Session Judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar, known for ordering a videography survey of Varanasi’s Gyanvapi mosque complex in 2022, has informed the Uttar Pradesh police about receiving “malicious calls and death threats from international numbers,” as per a Times of India report. Diwakar expressed deep concern over these threats.

Following previous threat concerns, the Allahabad High Court had sanctioned Y-category security for Judge Diwakar and his family, which was later downgraded to X-category. Presently, two security personnel are deployed for the safety of his family, but according to an associate, this arrangement is deemed inadequate due to a lack of weaponry compared to potential threats armed with modern weapons.

Last year, a Popular Front of India (PFI) agent was arrested near Diwakar’s residence in Lucknow, prompting security measures including stationing a gunner at the residence of Justice Diwakar’s brother, Dinesh Kumar Diwakar, who is also an additional district judge. However, this security cover was later withdrawn during the Lok Sabha elections.

Recently transferred to Bareilly, Diwakar had summoned senior cleric Tauqeer Raza to face trial for allegedly masterminding the Bareilly riots case of 2018, which he had taken suo motu cognizance of.

Indore: Rahul Gandhi gets death threat, letter warns of blasts across city

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi received a death threat when he arrived in Indore for his ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra on Friday.

Meanwhile, in the Juni Indore police station area in a sweet shop, a letter was found in which it was written that bomb blasts across the city will take place.

The letter mentioned that Chief Minister Kamal Nath would be shot down and Rahul Gandhi will be killed.

The letter read, “There will be bomb blasts at several places in Indore, Kamal Nath will be shot down and you will be sent where your father Rajiv Gandhi is.”

Moreover, the police are examining the CCTV footage of the area and the person who left the letter is also been searched.

According to police sources, this act can be the handiwork of a mischievous element.

A day after lashing Veer Savarkar the threat came. Earlier on Thursday the Congress leader said, “Veer Savarkar, in a letter written to the British, said “Sir, I beg to remain your most obedient servant” and signed on it. Savarkar helped the British. He betrayed leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Sardar Patel by signing the letter out of fear.”

However, after which the grandson of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar Ranjit Savarkar said he will be filing a complaint against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi at Shivaji Park Police Station in Mumbai for insulting Savarkar.

“It is not the first time Rahul Gandhi and Congress have insulted Savarkar. In the past too, they have insulted Savarkar, so I have decided to file a complaint against Rahul Gandhi at Shivaji Park police station,” Savarkar said.

“I will file a complaint for insulting our leader freedom fighter. Rahul Gandhi is a serial offender in this regard. In the past in 2017 also did the same thing,” Ranjit Sarvarkar also added, “Congress is trying to play vote bank politics and uses the same agenda of insulting Veer Savarkar,” Savarkar concluded.

Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif received death threats; investigation initiated

Bollywood actors Vicky Kaushal and Katrina have been threatened with death by someone on social media, after which Vicky filed a complaint at Santacruz police station in Mumbai.

The police have started investigating the case by registering a case against an unknown person. Moreover, a person named Aditya Rajput has been accused of threatening them.

On Vicky’s complaint, the police have registered a case under section 506(2), 354(D) and IPC r/w section 67 IT Act. Vicky Kaushal alleges that a person is threatening to kill him through a message on Instagram and the accused is also threatening and tracking his wife Katrina Kaif.

Earlier a month ago, Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan also received a death threat after which the security of Salman Khan was increased.

In a similar incident, Kangana Ranaut in November 2021, received a death threat and filed a complaint at a police station in Himachal Pradesh.
