Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav attended the musical extravaganza Rajadhiraaj: Love. Life. Leela in Delhi on Sunday. Conceptualized by Dhanraj Nathwani, the show celebrates the life and teachings of Shri Krishna. Presented by Executive Producer Bhoomi Nathwani, the production offers a heartfelt depiction of Krishna’s grace, magnanimity, and timeless lessons.

Renowned lyricist and screenwriter Prasoon Joshi penned the narrative, while seasoned musical theatre director Shruti Sharma helmed the project. Creative producers Parthiv Gohil and Viral Rachh, veterans of music and theatre, contributed to its success, with National Award-winning writer Raam Mori conducting in-depth story research. Esteemed costume designer Neeta Lulla crafted over 1,800 bespoke costumes, vividly bringing mythological characters to life.

Featuring a cast of over 180 performers, the musical spans Krishna’s journey from Vrindavan to Mathura and Dwarka. Twenty original soundtracks by composers Sachin-Jigar blend Indian classical music with Western symphonic elements recorded in Budapest, enhancing the theatrical experience.

Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav Holds Emergency Meeting On Elephant Deaths At Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve

Following the rising death toll among elephants at Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve (BTR) in Madhya Pradesh’s Umaria district, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav held an emergency meeting in Bhopal on Friday.

According to the latest data, the death toll has now reached eight, with one elephant currently undergoing treatment, as reported by P.K. Verma, Deputy Director of BTR, on Wednesday evening.

During a routine patrol on Tuesday, four elephants from a herd of 13 were found dead, while four others appeared ill. Upon receiving this information, forest officials arrived at the site and confirmed the herd size of 13 elephants. Among them, two were found to be healthy, and treatment was initiated for the remaining sick elephants, Verma stated.

He added that during the course of treatment, three more elephants died on Tuesday night, followed by one additional death on Wednesday, raising the total number of fatalities to eight.

The Madhya Pradesh Forest Department posted on X, “Latest update on Bandhavgarh Elephant death incident. A total of eight elephants died, one is undergoing treatment, two are fully recovered by treatment and two are healthy and normal.”

Madhya Pradesh: Emergency Era Enshrined In School Curriculum

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced a new chapter in the state school curriculum. This chapter will talk about the Emergency Era from 1975 to 1977. The purpose is to teach the young generation about this important time in India’s history. The Emergency was declared by the Congress government in 1975. It lasted for two years and was a tough time for many people. The new chapter will explain the “excesses and repression” during this period. It will also highlight the courage of those who fought against it, known as “Loktantra Senanis” or democracy fighters.

Chief Minister Yadav shared this news while speaking to a group of democracy fighters. He praised their bravery and announced new benefits for them. These benefits include:

A 50% discount for staying at government rest houses for up to three days.
Reduced toll charges on highways.
Quick payment for medical expenses through their Ayushman health card.
Air ambulances for serious health issues.
A 25% discount on airfares.

Yadav also promised that the state will cover all costs for the last rites of democracy fighters. The amount given to their families for funerals will increase from ₹8,000 to ₹10,000. Additionally, the government will help family members of democracy fighters find jobs by providing necessary training for setting up businesses.

The Emergency Era started on June 25, 1975, when Prime Minister Indira Gandhi declared it. Opposition leaders and many others were jailed, and press freedom was restricted. In the midst of preparations for the grand celebrations of Lord Buddha’s birth anniversary, CM of Madhya Pradesh Mohan Yadav visited the UNESCO World Heritage site Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya, Bihar, along with his family, on Wednesday.

Speaking to the media persons, CM Mohan Yadav remarked, “Around 2,500 years ago, Lord Buddha attained enlightenment on this land. Today, I came here with my family, and I am so grateful to worship at the Mahabodhi Temple. His teachings on maintaining peace and spreading happiness are invaluable.”

He added, “I was heading to Azamgarh for a rally but managed to find some time in my schedule to visit the Mahabodhi Temple and Gaya”

He also expressed his gratitude to the residents and party workers of the state who welcomed and supported him during his visit. He urged voters in the state to cast their votes in the remaining phases of the elections, regardless of party or candidate, to exercise their democratic power. In his address, he praised Prime Minister Modi, stating that PM Modi’s great work is the reason why he is immensely liked by people.

Madhya Pradesh: Rangpanchami Ger celebrated in Indore, CM Mohan Yadav Joins Festivities

The customary festival of Rangpanchami Ger was observed in the Indore district of Madhya Pradesh, with Chief Minister Mohan Yadav participating in the festivities on Saturday.

The Rangpanchami Ger festival, occurring on the fifth day following Holi, sees people applying colors and gulal on one another. They also utilize water tankers to spray gulal and colors, celebrating the occasion with immense fervor and grandeur.

As per reports, this is a 75-year-old custom in the city. Previously, individuals would ride bullock carts through the Rajwada area, spreading colors as they traversed the city. Nowadays, the use of water tankers and motor pumps to sprinkle colors has become more prevalent.

The ‘Ger’ yatra commenced from the Nursing Market areas of old city Indore, proceeding towards the Rajwada area. Thousands of individuals joined the procession, walking alongside the ‘Ger’ throughout the journey. The large crowd gathered at Rajwada also partook in the festivities, getting soaked in colors. People were observed carrying packets of colors and color sprinklers in their hands.

This year, CM Mohan Yadav also took part in the Ger procession, which commenced from the Nursing market area.

“It is a years-old tradition of Indore and over 75 years have been passed to organise ‘Ger’ on the occasion of Rangpanachami. Today, I am happy that I am participating in this Ger. I extend my greetings to everyone on the occasion,” CM told reporters here.

Meanwhile, the Indore district administration has ensured comprehensive security arrangements for the festival and deployed an ample number of police personnel to oversee its smooth conduct. Additionally, police forces from neighboring areas have also been summoned to assist during the occasion.

The police and district administration have established a temporary control room at Rajwada, where the entire area is being monitored via CCTV cameras and drones.

Earlier today, CM Yadav conveyed his greetings to all the citizens of the state on the occasion of Rangpanchami.

CM Yadav told ANI, “This festival of colours will bring good fortune to your life. I extend my greetings to all of you on behalf of the MP government”.

MP CM Mohan Yadav orders to remove SDM from making woman tie shoelaces in Singrauli

Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Mohan Yadav has directed the immediate removal of a Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) assigned to the Singrauli district for forcing a woman to tie his shoelaces. CM Yadav has also stated that his government places a high priority on respecting women.

On Thursday, the Chief Minister office posted on X, “An incident wherein a SDM made a woman tie his shoelace in Chitrangi, Singrauli district has come to light, which is extremely condemnable. I have given instructions to remove the SDM from post with immediate effect. Women’s respect is paramount in our government.”
Notably, a picture of Chitrangi SDM Asvanram Chiravan surfaced on social media in which a woman was seen tying his shoelace following which the chief minister took action against him.

However, Chitrangi SDM Asvanram Chiravan has clarified the incident, saying that one of his staff members assisted him in tying his shoelace because he had been injured a few days prior and was having trouble bending.

“I suffered knee injuries on December 30 last year and since then I have been suffering a lot of problems while walking and sitting and my staff used to help me. On the day of Pran Pratishtha, January 22, a religious program was going on at Hanuman temple in Chitrangi. During this, I took off my shoes with the help of my leg and after the program I wore the shoes but my lace was not tied,” Chiravan said.

CM Yadav emphasized the festive atmosphere surrounding the Pran Pratishtha event, stating, “The occasion of Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya on January 22 is like Diwali for all of us.” Drawing a parallel to the celebration of Dhanteras, he highlighted the connection between Bhopal and Ayodhya through the festivities at Shri Ram Temple in Anand Nagar.

Former MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan leaves his official residence in Bhopal

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, moved his family to B-8, 74 bungalow near the New Market area on Wednesday, leaving the CM house in Bhopal. Chouhan worshipped Gau Mata in the cowshed and offered prayers at the on-site temple before departing the CM residence. The CM House staff and security personnel said goodbye to the former CM. “The CM House office is where many decisions about public welfare and development projects are made. I’m leaving the house happy and joyful today. The last eighteen years have been a scripted history of progress and public welfare. I’m meeting with old colleagues and leaving with a lot of memories,” Chouhan remarked.

He congratulated CM Mohan Yadav and his team, saying they may take Madhya Pradesh to great heights. “I am congratulating CM Mohan Yadav and his team that they may take Madhya Pradesh to great heights. I gave hugs to those who have worked with me and they loved me a lot. The people of Madhya Pradesh are my family. Mama and Bhaiya are permanent, I will continue to serve the public,” Chouhan added.
Chouhan’s wife, Sadhna Singh Chouhan, said, “No one is emotional; we are happily leaving this bungalow. Many memories are associated with this bungalow.”
“Today I have shifted to this bungalow and will work for public welfare with new energy. My role will be as a party worker, and I will do whatever my duties are as an MLA,” Chouhan said after shifting to the new residence.

The BJP returned to power in Madhya Pradesh after a landslide victory in the recently held assembly elections. The party picked Devda to replace four-time chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

IAS Officer Raghvendra Kumar Singh Appointed Principal Secretary to Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh

Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Raghvendra Kumar Singh, belonging to the 1997 batch, has been appointed as the principal secretary to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav in Madhya Pradesh. The official order issued on Friday evening also confers on Singh an additional charge as the principal secretary of the state government and the Public Service Management Department.

This reshuffling comes merely two days after the induction of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, marking the conclusion of the extensive tenure of his predecessor, Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Chief Minister Yadav took his oath of office on Wednesday, with Governor Mangubhai C. Patel officiating the ceremony at Motilal Nehru Stadium, Lal Parade Ground in the state capital. The swearing-in event saw the presence of several eminent figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Amit Shah, BJP national president JP Nadda, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

At Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal on Wednesday, Mohan Yadav took the oath of office as chief minister. Sworn in as his deputies were Rajendra Shukla and Jagdish Devda. Yadav served three terms as an MLA from Ujjain South in Madhya Pradesh and was a former minister of education. Devda is a member of the Scheduled Caste (SC), but Shukla is the undisputed Brahmin face of the Vindhya Pradesh department. A group of prominent figures participated in the Bhopal swearing-in ceremony and will subsequently travel to Raipur. There were a number of central ministers present, including Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Meanwhile, at the Science College Ground in Raipur, Vishnu Deo Sai, a three-time state BJP chief and four-time member of the Lok Sabha, will take the oath of office as chief minister of Chhattisgarh. Many were taken aback by the BJP’s selection of two new candidates rather than more seasoned stalwarts. With regard to the deputy CMs, the party has not yet released an official statement. There are rumors that Vijay Sharma, an organisational leader who defeated Congressman Mohammad Akbar from Kawardha, and Arun Sao, the OBC representative from the Sahu (Teli) community and current state unit chief, will be sworn in as Sai’s deputies.
