Neither Sundar Pichai, the Indian-American CEO of Google, nor Satya Nadella, his counterpart at Microsoft, made it onto either list, despite their companies’ strong performance, including advancements with OpenAI.

On the other hand, Nikesh Arora of Palo Alto Networks made it onto both lists. He ranked fourth on the list of “Highest Earning CEOs in the US by Total Compensation Granted in 2023,” with earnings totaling $151.4 million.
