A regular evening at Apni Rasoi Restaurant in Ghaziabad’s Rajnagar Extension turned violent when a group of armed men stormed in with sticks and iron rods, creating panic among diners. The incident, which occurred on Saturday night, was captured on CCTV and has since gone viral on social media.

CCTV Captures Brutal Assault

Footage from inside the restaurant shows a group of men forcefully entering the premises, smashing doors, and creating mayhem in the dining area. As families sat enjoying their meals, the miscreants began vandalising furniture and flinging chairs. Diners fled the scene in fear, some leaving their food and belongings behind.

The attackers targeted the cash counter and went on to destroy tables, with one man seen slamming a chair onto a table filled with food. The violent scene left customers traumatized as they scrambled to escape.

Journalist Piyush Rai shared the disturbing footage on X (formerly Twitter), writing: “In UP’s Ghaziabad, customers dining at a restaurant ran for cover as goons unleashed hell. Police Take Action

The Ghaziabad Police responded to the viral video and confirmed legal proceedings: “In connection with the above case, a case has been registered under relevant sections at Nandagram Police Station. Further legal action is being taken,” the police posted on X.

The incident has raised fresh concerns about public safety in local eateries and the need for swift police response to such acts of violence.

Rahul Gandhi’s Response

In response, Rahul Gandhi addressed the media, claiming that BJP MPs were blocking his entry into Parliament. He said, “This might be on your camera. I was trying to go inside through the Parliament entrance, but BJP MPs were trying to stop me, push me, and threaten me. So this happened… Yes, this has happened (Mallikarjun Kharge being pushed). But we do not get affected by jostling. But this is the entrance and we have the right to go in. The central issue is that they are attacking the Constitution and insulting the memory of Ambedkar ji.”

However, the BJP rejected Rahul’s claims. MP Pralhad Joshi stated, “There was enough space for Rahul Gandhi, but he pushed Sambit Patra as well. It was uncalled for because there was enough space for him… Everyone will know what happened once the CCTV footage is checked.”

A strange incident unfolded at a Shiv Temple in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, where a man was filmed stealing a copper pot after performing a ritual. The CCTV footage, which went viral on social media, shows the man praying and performing Jal Abhishek on the Shivling before committing the theft.

On Sunday, September 15, at 7:49 AM, the man arrived at the temple on a two-wheeler. He first opened the channel gates, entered with a bag, and folded his hands in prayer. He then removed the lid from a copper pot to perform Jal Abhishek. After using the pot, he glanced outside and attempted to steal a metal bell. When that effort failed, he shifted his focus to the copper pot.

Pouring the remaining water over the Shivling, the thief took the pot from its holder, placed it in his bag, and walked away, closing the gate behind him.

Jason Williams of Chicago thwarted a burglary attempt at his residence on June 20 in a dramatic encounter captured on CCTV footage that has since gone viral on social media. Williams, returning home from work, received an alert from his alarm system indicating a break-in just minutes before he arrived.

Upon entering his house, Williams quickly grabbed a frying pan as the burglar descended the stairs. In an interview with ABC Chicago, Williams recounted the tense moments: “Came in the house, I looked if there was an available weapon. There was a frying pan lying there, so I grabbed the frying pan, and at the same time the burglar came downstairs.”

The video shows a sub-inspector of the Uttar Pradesh Police beating toll plaza employees for delaying his vehicle. The sub-inspector has been identified as Praveen Kumar, according to a report by TricityToday.com. Police have stated that the matter is under investigation and a search for the accused is ongoing.

The viral video, recorded by CCTV cameras at 8:55 am on Thursday, shows the sub-inspector arriving at the toll plaza in his car and immediately assaulting the toll workers. He then breaks through the toll plaza barrier, allowing several vehicles to pass without paying the toll.

Pune Police Chief: Teen Was Driving Porsche, Attempts to Shift Blame Foiled

Delhi Police To Review CCTV Footage From Kejriwal’s Residence In Maliwal Assault Investigation

The Delhi Police has reached out to the company responsible for installing CCTV cameras at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence to obtain footage related to an incident where party MP Swati Maliwal was allegedly assaulted, sources reveal.

There are eight cameras installed outside Kejriwal’s house. Approximately ten police teams are investigating the incident, with four teams focused on locating the accused, Kejriwal’s personal secretary, Bibhav Kumar, who is reportedly in Punjab. Teams from the North District and other units have begun their inquiries, sources said. The initial step for the police is to create a timeline of events, establishing the sequence of activities on the day Maliwal was assaulted. The investigation includes verifying the time Maliwal arrived at the Chief Minister’s House on May 13 and recording statements from everyone she encountered at the gate. Maliwal reportedly took a cab to the CM’s residence on May 13, and the police will also record the cab driver’s statement.

Statements from all individuals who met Maliwal at the CM House will be recorded. An FIR was filed by the Delhi Police at the Civil Lines police station on Thursday regarding the alleged assault on the AAP Rajya Sabha MP. Maliwal has accused Bibhav Kumar, the Chief Minister’s personal secretary, of assaulting her. Maliwal’s statement will be recorded before a magistrate under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code. This section allows a magistrate to record statements or confessions during a police investigation. Maliwal made a PCR call from the Chief Minister’s House at 9.34 pm on May 13.

The police may issue a notice to Bibhav Kumar, requesting his participation in the investigation, sources added. According to the FIR, Maliwal alleged that she was slapped, hit on the stomach, attacked, and kicked by Bibhav Kumar at the Chief Minister’s residence. The FIR includes charges under sections 354, 506, 509, and 323 of the IPC, covering offences such as assault or criminal force with intent to outrage a woman’s modesty, criminal intimidation, and physical assault.

In the Kanjhawala case, a major development has come as CCTV footage has been found by the Delhi Police in which Anjali and her friend, identified by police as Nidhi was seen coming out of a hotel at around 1.30 am on 1 January.

Meanwhile, in the CCTV footage both the women were seen leaving the hotel on a scooty with Anjali on the pillion seat and Nidhi riding.

During the investigation, the woman has been identified as Nidhi a friend of the deceased Anjali.

In the CCTV footage, Anjali was seen wearing a pink colored jacket while Nidhi was wearing a Red Jacket.

Moreover, during investigations, Nidhi said she was covering a distance and later Anjali told her that she will ride the scooty and Nidhi sat on the pillion seat.

In the accident, Nidhi sustained minor injuries whereas Anjali’s leg got stuck in the car and was dragged along under the car.

Anjali was dragged for nearly 13 km by the car which hit her scooty. The statement of the girl will be recorded on Tuesday.

However, the Ministry of Home Affairs ordered a detailed inquiry into the matter by IPS officer Shalini Singh and at around 12:30 Am on Tuesday, Special Commissioner Shalini Singh inspected the crime spot at Krishan Vihar in Sultanpuri.

Furthermore, four to five locations were inspected by Special Commissioner Shalini Singh and Singh went to the spot where the girl’s body was found.

Church in Mysuru vandalized; baby Jesus’ statue damaged

A church has been vandalized in Karnataka’s Mysuru in which the baby Jesus statue was damaged just days after Christmas.

Meanwhile, police are checking CCTV footage, and arrests were expected soon. The baby Jesus statue was damaged in the St. Mary’s Church adjacent to Gonikoppa Road in Piriyapatna.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Mysuru, Seema Latkar said, “We have formed a team to nab the culprits. Also, we are looking for the CCTV footage as recorded in the nearby cameras.”

Moreover, the money box and other valuables have been taken away and the matter appears to be a case of theft.

Delhi minister drops Delhi Court plea to stop airing videos from jail cell

Jailed Satyendar Jain, a Delhi minister, dropped his application on Thursday asking a Delhi court to issue an order prohibiting media from airing any CCTV footage of him taken from his cell at Tihar. Instead, the Delhi High Court, according to the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party. Jain’s lawyer Rahul Mehra stated in his court filing on Wednesday that despite a hearing in the subject, additional footage was leaked yesterday morning.

They have taken a particular day and particular time and shown some major thing is going on in jail. Please test everything. We are not running away. Today one release, tomorrow another release”, Mehra had argued in court.

A fresh video showing the AAP leader eating and receiving meals in his cell surfaced on Wednesday. This happened a day after he informed the court that he was denied access to a special fasting diet due to his religious convictions. Jain was seen eating a range of foods in the film, including instances where he was seen eating raw fruits and vegetables and prepared meals.

A video showed him receiving massages from a man who turned out to be a convict accused of raping a minor surfaced on Saturday.

Jain and two other accused in the case have been denied bail by the court on November 17. A CBI FIR filed against Jain in 2017 under the Prevention of Corruption Act led to his detention by the federal anti-money laundering agency. Jain is accused of using four companies that are purportedly connected to him to launder money. The latest issue in the conflict between the BJP and the AAP ahead of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi polls on December 4 appears to be the CCTV videos. Jain is taken out of the cabinet by Kejriwal.

The BJP has allegedly released phoney films out of fear of losing the election, according to the AAP. Kejriwal, the chief minister, has been ordered by the BJP to fire Jain from the cabinet.
