Firing Outside Salman Khan’s House in Mumbai, Investigation Underway

In the early hours of Sunday morning, around 5 am, gunshots were reportedly fired outside the residence of the Bollywood actor Salman Khan. As per the police, two unnamed individuals on a motorcycle fired 5 shots in the air outside the Galaxy apartments in Bandra before running away from the scene.

Further revealed by the police, one bullet had also targeted the first floor of the residence where the Bollywood actor along with his family reportedly lives.

In the aftermath of the scene, the security of the actor’s apartment was enhanced followed by the collection of CCTV footage by the police for the identification. Followed by the visit of crime branch personnels and forensic experts for the collection of evidence. Resulting in the start of the probe.

This incident comes around the time,when just the previous year, the National Investigation Agency revealed that the actor comes under the list of 10 main targets of the jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who the latter wants to kill. For the 1998 black buck hunting incident, which as per the gangster, has gravely hurt the sentiments of the Bishnoi community. Thus marking him target.

He further revealed that his right-hand man Sampat Nehra has put the khan’s residence under surveillance, making the target ripe for attack. However, a special task force of Haryana arrested Nehra.

Raj Arjun, best known for his work in ‘Thalaivii’ and ‘Secret Superstar’, is currently in the limelight because of his intense performance in the Yami Gautam-led ‘Article 370’. Speaking to The Daily Guardian, Raj Arjun revealed that he took up the film as the role excited him.

“Whenever a role comes my way, I see whether it can create a sense of excitement in me. This happened with the role in Article 370. I don’t have many scenes but somewhere I felt this would come out well if I did it with honesty,” he said.

The film is directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale in his directorial debut.. Raj Arjun enjoyed working with the newcomer and found him to be ‘mature’.

The actresses made it to the Academy Awards stage to give a special shoutout to RRR’s power-packed song ‘Naatu Naatu’ which has been nominated in the ‘Orginal Song’ category this year. Before Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava earned a standing ovation for their electrifying performance, Deepika announced the performance and even gave a special mention briefing the audience about the song amidst loud cheers.
She said, “An irresistibly catchy chorus, electrifying beats and killer dance moves to match have made this song a global sensation. It plays during a pivotal scene in ‘RRR’, a movie about the friendship between real-life Indian revolutionaries Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. In addition to being sung in Telugu and illustrating the film’s anti-colonialist themes, it’s also a total banger!”
She added, “It’s earned millions of views on Youtube and Tik Tok. Has audiences dancing in movie theatres all around the world and is also the first song ever from Indian production to be nominated for an Oscar. Do you know Naatu? Because if you don’t you’re about to. From the film RRR this is Naatu Naatu.”
Deepika looked exquisite in an all-black off-shoulder velvet gown. She tied her hair into a bun and kept her make-up normal. She accessorized her look with a yellow diamond drop necklace.

The song is competing against ‘Applause’ from the film ‘Tell It Like A Woman,’ ‘Hold My Hand’ from the movie ‘Top Gun: Maverick,’ ‘Lift me Up’ from ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,’ and ‘This Is Life,’ from ‘Everything, Everywhere All At Once’.
The film is a fictional story based on the lives of two Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Ram Charan and Jr NTR played lead roles, respectively. The film collected over Rs 1,200 crore worldwide. Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran also starred in the film.

Bollywood actor Swara Bhasker on Thursday participated in Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra in Ujjain. The actor arrived in Indore on Wednesday and was due to accompany Rahul Gandhi on a walk this morning. Along with Swara Bhasker, other Bollywood stars participating in the yatra include Pooja Bhatt, Sushant Singh, Rashmi Desai, Riya Sen, and Amol Palekar.

Swara Bhasker, who is well known for her anti-BJP opinions, offered support for the yatra as it started and praised Rahul Gandhi’s efforts despite electoral setbacks, trolling, and personal attacks.

“Credit where due.. Despite electoral defeats, trolling, personal attacks & constant critique abt being ineffective, @RahulGandhi has neither succumbed to communal rhetoric nor sensationalist politics. Given the situation of this country effort like @bharatjodo is commendable!” Swara tweeted in October.

Recently, the BJP asserted that actors receive compensation for their “guest appearance” in the yatra, an allegation that Pooja Bhatt, who accompanied Rahul Gandhi in Hyderabad, vehemently rejected. Nitesh Rane, a leader in the Maharashtra BJP, posted a screenshot of what appeared to be a WhatsApp message that asked performers participate at their own time slots. The Congress similarly rejected the BJP’s assertion and asserted that participants in the yatra are committed to the cause.
